Anime: Iron-Blooded Orphans (Gundam)
(the POVs are at the same time, not after the last one... does that even make since?)

It was the middle of the night, when Blade walked into the hanger Barbatos was in. Blade thought Barbatos was "asleep", and he was, but not a heavy sleep. Barbatos came out of sleep-mode and looked at Blade wearily. All the lights were off, the only light coming from Barbatos' eyes. Blade was still by the door when he noticed the Gundam looking at him. "What?" Blade asked, glaring at Barbatos. The only answer he got was a low growl and shift of weight from the Gundam.
POV- Blade
I walked up to the platform that let me get to the cockpit of the mech. Before I could even get close to him, Barbatos took a step back so I couldn't reach the cockpit. "Heh, stupid machine." I huffed, annoyed that he was making it harder for me. I just wanted to be his pilot, for crying out loud! And yes, I know that Mikazuki is his pilot/partner. You might be wondering why I want to be his pilot, well I'll tell you the short version, I've always been bullied and never listened to, so if Barbatos was mine, they'd have to listen to me. I lean against the railing and wait for the Gundam to come close to the platform again. "I'm not going anywhere Barbatos." I say crossing my arms. After a few minutes he came back, but was tense and keeping an eye on me. Knowing that I couldn't get anywhere close to the cockpit while he was actively watching me, I would have to wait till he went back to sleep. After a long hour of waiting I saw my chance. Moving slowly as to not alert him, as he was probably not fully asleep, I moved to the cockpit and jumped in before he could even register what was happening. I could tell he was not happy because of the growling and increased noise his generator was making. Not caring about or understanding the growling coming from Barbatos, I try to link with him. After being blocked several times, I tried to hack my way in, but Barbatos fought that too. I was about to try again when a message appeared on the cockpit's screen. It read, "BACK OFF" and at the bottom it said it was sent by Barbatos. Completely freaked out, I scrambled out of the cockpit and tried to get away, but was caught by Barbatos' clawed hand and held up to his face. Even from there I could hear his generator, I think I really made him mad. Knowing I was probably out of luck, I stopped struggling. The clearly mad Gundam started to squeeze me, only to be stopped by Mikazuki and Katie. Mikazuki was yelling at Barbatos to put me down and Katie was giving me the death stare, just by seeing that look, I knew I was dead either way. When Barbatos finally listened and put me down, Katie stomped and grabbed my ear, pulling me out of the hanger. Not seeing Mikazuki, I realized he must've stayed behind to calm Barbatos down.
POV- Barbatos
After being woken up by one of the humans I wasn't in the best mood, for I had fought a hard battle earlier and was exhausted. Seeing the human come closer, I took a step back so he couldn't reach my cockpit, which was still open in case of an emergency. I hear the human mumble something, but don't really pay attention. After a few minutes, the human leaned against the railing and stated that he wasn't going anywhere. Taking that time, I look him up and see that his name is Blade Roger, and not the nicest person. Not knowing his intentions, but wanting to get more sleep, or at least more rest, I walk back up to the platform. I watched him for 50 minutes before my tiredness took over, and I fell into a light sleep, one that I could easily wake up from if needed. Maybe 10 minutes later I felt someone getting into my cockpit. After waking up fully, I realized it must've been Blade that got in because he was nowhere to be seen. Not happy with that, I tell him to get out, but I knew that it was useless because Blade couldn't understand what I was saying, unlike Mikazuki, and would only hear growls. Feeling the human try and do a forced link, I block him out, but soon after I feel him trying to hack the system. Not at all happy with that, I send a message to the cockpit telling him to back off. After a few minutes Blade jumps out of the cockpit, which I closed, and I grabbed him before he could run off. Holding him up to my face, which seemed to cause him to stop struggling, I started to squeeze him a bit. I knew I couldn't hurt humans, but I wanted him to know what happens when you mess with a Gundam. I stop when I hear my pilot yelling at me to put Blade down. I hesitated, but eventually put him down. Seeing Blade's friend drag him off, I laugh silently. When the other two left Mikazuki stayed behind and climbed my shoulder. After finally being able to relax, I let out a long sigh and rested my head on my chest. "Barbatos, what happened?" I heard my pilot ask. Too tired to really explain, I opened my cockpit so he could link up with me and see for himself. By the time He was done I had almost fallen asleep. "Sorry that happened, Barbatos. I'll let you sleep now." my pilot says after climbing down to the platform. Before I fall asleep I nod to Striker, who had just got back from a patrol and his feel-in pilot, Hunter. After a few minutes I fell into a deep sleep rather quickly.
