* Two weeks after the start of the Builder's War, Lucius Rhyne announced that Night City would be creating a military branch dedicated to protecting its borders from Northern California and Southern California. The newly appointed Chief of the Army announced they've already received 2,000 volunteers since the announcement. "I'm proud to announce that Night City shall have its military. With the support of Arasaka, Kang Tao, Biotechnica, Trauma Team, and Militech, the future of Night City is in safe hands." - Lucius Rhyne, announcing the establishment of the Armed Forces of Night City.

* The Arasaka Corporation, in fear of the rapidly growing influence of Militech within Night City, launched two supercarriers, the ACS Hato and the ACS Ahiru, from the ports of Tokyo to Night City. In response, Militech launched their supercarriers, the MTS Donald Lundee and the MTS Antonio Luccessi, from San Diego to Los Angeles.

* Trauma Team partnered with Builders Incorporated to cover all Builders Inc. personnel with the Platinum Trauma Package. In response to the partnership, Builders Inc. provided Trauma Team with a 'mysterious liquid substance' that could supposedly regenerate missing limbs and stab wounds. "Builders Incorporated remains a vital partner for Trauma Team, and despite the rumors of favoritism, we at Trauma Team are supportive of the recent actions that Builders Incorporated took." Shayleen Buck, the spokesperson for Trauma Team, answered in response to the partnership between Builders Incorporated and Trauma Team.

- The near-destruction of some of Night City's gangs had left a power vacuum in the aftermath. Already, new criminal elements are forming while some are resisting heavily. The Tyger Claws, firmly united under Wakako, now face competition from the Mox and the Son Family, a Korean Jo-Pak under the leadership of Son AnAng, a former Rockergirl, and Mudang who emigrated to Night City during the Time of the Red and now compete for control of Charter Hills. "The threat posed by the Sons is a danger to our group. We must rid of them lest find ourselves engulfed in a two-way conflict." Wakako Okada, Leader of the Tyger Claws, remarked as the Son Family competed for control within Charter Hills.

- The Valentinos, having control of Heywood and moving into the Arroyo sub-district, formed a PMC named the Malverde Defence Force. The MDF had already seen combat in the Free States of Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico and has made a name for itself for its conduct and professionalism. "I must admit: I didn't expect the success of the MDF. I must invite Tom for dinner next time he calls me. The Santa Muerte had truly blessed me by allowing me to meet that man." Sebastian 'Padre' Ibarra, a prominent Fixer for the Valentinos, commented when he heard the news of the MDF successfully protecting the life of Varsel Hildebrandt, 31st President of the Church of Latter-Day Saints, from Mormon extremists.

The Badlands is now home to three prominent groups: the Aldecaldos, the Wraiths, and the Maelstrom. The Aldecaldos branch of Night City, under the leadership of Saul Bright, flourished thanks to the partnership with Builders Incorporated. The Raffen Shiv sub-group, the Wraiths, have settled within the Southern part of the Badlands. The Maelstrom, after their rapid collapse thanks to their attacks on Builders Incorporated, migrated north of the Northside Industrial District and now reside near the Oil Fields. "I don't care if we're ███████ clinging on! I will find a way to kill that ███████ man and make sure he ██████ regrets it!" Declan "Brick" Griffin ranted as he moved Maelstrom from Northside Industrial District to the northern outskirts of Night City.Pacifica's lawlessness and disorder are slowly being strangled, with Builders Security Service and NCPD's MaxTac and SWAT divisions conducting full-scale military operations to rid the Pacifica District of both the Animals and Voodoo Boys. "I would like to thank the NCPD for their bravery and support. If not for them, our mission to rid the streets of gangsters would be much harder." Lucyna Kushinada, COO of Builders Incorporated, thanked the NCPD's SWAT and MaxTac divisions during the Builders Incorporated press conference.

California

* Daryl Hudson, governor of Southern California, announced the establishment of numerous in-door farming within the megacities of Los Angeles, San Diego, Bakersfield, and Santa Barbara. "I would like to thank Tom Hiddleston for making his technology available to the general public. If not for him, Southern California would've remained a State dependent on exports." Daryl Hudson thanked Tom during his announcement of establishing a series of in-door farming through Southern California.

* Northern California, seeing the rapid changes occurring in Night City, doubled their border guards in fear of the changes occurring in Night City.

* Arasaka doubled its investment in Northern California, providing the NorCal army with a surplus of weapons, vehicles, and EuroDollars.

NUSA

* President Myers, seeing the widening influence of Arasaka within the Free States, especially within Northern California, poured tons of EuroDollars into Southern California.

* The Western Corporate States invested heavily into their defense, buying arms from Kang Tao in response to the rising tensions between Arasaka and Militech.

* The Western Free States consisting of Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico aligned themselves with the Republic of Texas thanks to Arasaka interference, while the Western Free States of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado are solidifying their connections with NUSA, with Militech providing numerous EuroDollars to rebuilding the three Free States in the aftermath of the Unification Wars.

Worldwide

* Tensions between Germany and France are causing the relationship between the EEC member-states to fray, with member-states unofficially providing support to France or Germany.

* The Conservative government of the United Kingdom launched a referendum to rejoin the EEC. Analyst predicts that almost 90% of the population would vote yes to rejoin the EEC.

* Bayani Market, in cooperation with Sungan Zaibatsu, launched a massive relief project dedicated to removing the trash heaps of the Philippines. Already, 5% of the trash heaps that litters the streets of Metro Manila moved to incinerators made by Sungan Zaibatsu, with numerous corpses, nuclear wastes, and biological hazards amassed during the Fourth Corporate War and Time of the Red removed.

* The government of Japan and Indonesia signs a trade agreement, lowering the tariffs between each other, with Indonesia reducing tariffs for Japan regarding rare earth materials in exchange for Japanese zaibatsu to sponsor the development of Borneo Island.
