Chapter 14: Genin Arc Part 1
A Month After Naruto Graduated
Naruto was very thankful that he didn't have to go through with the bane of every fresh out of the Academy Genin's existence: D-Ranks, instead Naruto and his team were immediately assigned C-Ranks ranging from delivering a parcel to a middleman outside the village, protecting tourists from bandits and the likes or even capturing dangerous animals in the forest, and Naruto and his team had completed five C-Ranks in a month, which was practically unheard of for Rookie Genin.
And now they were in the missions office waiting as their sensei sifted through the requests to find another suitable mission for their team, stopping at a piece of paper, and taking it out of the pile they were offered.
"Well team, I have a perfect C-Rank mission that the three of you requested me, one which is out of the village and to another country. I want you three to meet me at the South Gate at ten at the latest, so I'm giving you the rest of the day off, go have fun." Yugao explained, waving the trio goodbye.
The Next Day (5 AM)
Naruto released his grasp from Mito, who shifted in her sleep, her face showing discomfort from the loss of her partner, but was calmed when Naruto gracefully leaned down sealing his lips with hers for a whole few seconds before letting go, quickly changing into his everyday attire, now modified for when he graduated; his Shinobi Headguard tied with a black coloured cloth, his black cargo pants, a normal mesh-net long-sleeved shirt and on it, his crimson jacket, the distinctive black swirl of the Uzumaki clan on his back, and to tie it all up with that standard open-toed Shinobi sandals. He mentally checked off the list inside his head as he one by one placed all of his scrolls in the assigned pockets; his survival supplies in his front pocket, his Fuinjutsu supplies in the pocket below it, his two pouches filled with Kunai, Shuriken, spools of Shinobi Grade wire, half a dozen food pills for an emergency, one behind his waist, while the other strapped to his right leg, his Katana that Kushina gifted, the same Katana that she used, was strapped diagonally to his back.

'Though it pained me to see all of my hard-earned experience that I saved up become empty, it was worth it; using 240000 to get me, Wasabi, Namida and Sumire to level 20, and since I've claimed the girls as mine, I can freely allocate my experience points to them, and that is what I did, boosted all of them up to Level 20 except for Sai, Shin, Hinoko and my Uzumaki given Royal Guards who were already Level 23-25. All in all, I spent 587000, but unfortunately, I could not go higher than Level 20 as that was the cap for an Academy Student and since I became a Genin, the Game saw fit to eliminate any excess experience points. So after those five C-Ranks, with each C-Rak giving 1000 EXP for a successful mission, a meagre amount compared to what I usually farmed from Dungeons, I had gathered a total of 5000 EXP.'
When Naruto graduated, the Game updated bringing in new features such as putting a cap on the number of levels one can achieve according to their current rank; for an Academy Student, the cap was 20, for a Genin, it was 30, for a Chunin, it was 40, for a Tokubetsu-Jonin, it was 45, for a Jonin, it was 50, and for an Elite Jonin it was 60, and after that, for a Kage, there was no cap. Though it's an old feature, Naruto uses the in-game ability to lock his stats to an even amount, he had done the same in the Academy, locking his stats to Genin, but now he increased it to Chunin, locking his stats to 100, and he even did the same for the rest of his girls as well.
Naruto exited his bedroom, pulsing his chakra to call for any one of his Royal Guards, and Karin answered his call, kneeling, awaiting his orders, "Karin-Chan, wake up Hinata-Chan and Sarada-Chan,"
"Hai, Naruto-Sama," Karin shunshinned away.
Naruto then exited the apartment, lost in thought, his feet traversing the same trodden path as he did every day, going right on the corner, passing a hello to the friendly Ramen stall owners, ignoring the less than subtle glares he received, pushing open the gates to the Senju Compound and without hesitation entered Tsunade's home, and without fail, he was greeted with the nude, flying body of Tsunade who promptly smothered the Uzumaki between her breasts, excitedly squealing, with Naruto still in her arms led him straight to the dining room, where she sat down at the chair on one end of the table and standing directly behind her was Shizune, and just like Tsunade completely naked.
"Tsuna-Chan, that was unexpected, you usually don't greet me in such a way, why the change?" Tsunade shied away from the question, tilting her head she murmured, "Well, I heard that you were going to Land of Wave on an escort mission, and while it might take most shinobi two to three days to reach the Land of Waves, you'll be travelling with a civilian so it could take you anywhere between nine to ten days to even reach your destination." Tsunade blushed when she felt Naruto's hands rubbing her cheeks.
"Aww, is someone worried for their Father? Well, don't be, I'll have Hinata-Chan and Sarada-Chan with me, so don't you worry for a minute, besides, I'll keep sending you letters to tell you about the mission, I've always done that, so why should I stop now, my daughter." Naruto nodded to himself, reaffirming that it was a good thing that he used the age reversal, it made her more timid and cuter as well. Not only Tsunade, but he liberally used the seal on Shizune, Kimiko, Iruka, Hana, Sadoru, Mizuki, and Tsubaki, to revert their ages to twenty. The reason behind it was purely superficial: Naruto wanted to preserve their beauty as long as possible.
After eating breakfast Naruto bid the two goodbye, exited the Senju Compound and used the Hiraishin to teleport outside of the Hyuga Compound, where the gate guards were now used to Naruto teleporting out from nowhere and simply nodded their hellos. Naruto didn't waste any time and located where Hitomi and Hiashi were, because anytime Naruto would leave for a mission, he was required to inform them about it, and since Hinata was his teammate, he could speak for her as well.
Naruto entered through the open shoji screen doors, bowing to his parents, greeting the two with a grin, crossing the distance to give them both a hug and sitting down in Hitomi's lap, leaning against her breasts as Hitomi caressed his hair, the silence between them comfortable. Naruto sighed, "Mama, I have another C-Rank; an escort mission to the Land of Waves, the mission could take me anywhere between twenty days to even a month."
"I see, but regardless, make sure that you complete your mission with the utmost efficiency, and carry those same words to Hinata as well," Hiashi commented, his eyes glittering with amusement as Hitomi glared at him through the corner of her eyes, not liking how stiff he was being.
"While what Hiashi-Kun says is true, look out for your teammates, you're not the only one on the team," Hitomi added in her own two cents, "Now, go, it wouldn't be good to place an image of tardiness in our client's eyes."
"Hai, Mama. See you in a month."

At the South Gate(10 AM)
Naruto arrived an hour earlier than expected, using the time to meditate and improve his sensory skills, and had singled out three individual signatures of Hinata, Sarada and Yugao, and waited for the three to arrive, half an hour later, Hinata and Sarada appeared, and another ten minutes later, Yugao did with their client in tow.
Smiling at the three Genin, "Good, now that we are all here, I'll introduce ourselves to our client. My name is Yugao Uzuki, and I am the Team Captain of this team, these are my charges; Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga and Sarada Uchiha, so let me assure you that my Genin are more than ready to handle this mission. So without further ado, I'll sign us out at the gate and we'll begin our trek to the Land of Wave."
At first glance, Naruto wasn't all that impressed and was relatively put off by the state of their client's appearance, and by that, he did not mean what he wore, but the fact that it was ten in the morning and he had a bottle of cheap beer in his hand, and he was already tipsy, leaning a bit against the massive gates, his eyes closed. With Spiky, grey hair, and a thick goatee that was in dire need of attention, Naruto had a strong feeling in his gut that the client would get on his nerves sooner than most.

The first three days were peaceful without any relative threat of danger, save the odd bandit or two, which started popping out in groups of twos and threes, as they crossed over a quarter of their way there, but the bandits were dealt with without any troubles whatsoever, what with Naruto's sensory abilities as well as Hinata's Byakugan, no mere bandits could get the drop on them. No, their real challenge was when Naruto started sensing chakra signatures up above their head, close enough for his sensory abilities to feel them out, but too far for him to gain a definite image, and it was the same for Hinata.
Naruto quickly informed Yugao who ordered him to not let go of the Sensory Barrier he had created around the group and to stretch it out as much as he could, while her mind ran through the possible solutions of their pursuers, but eventually came up blank and decided to go through the mission even with the glaring, yet unseen, danger in front of them.
'I have faith in my team, all three of my wards are already if considering their strength alone, Chunin and they only require more experience to truly cement them as a viable candidate to become Chunin, but together, they would give even Jonin slight trouble, both due to their strength and talent and also because of cohesion and trust that the three had for each other.'
The next three days were slightly exhausting to Naruto, since with the most chakra out of everybody as well as being able to use Shadow Clones, he was assigned to be night watch for the remaining five days of their trip, which wasn't a problem for Naruto as he made a Shadow Clone with a quarter of his Chakra more than capable of remaining throughout the night while his Sensory Barrier remained active. However, by the end of the fifth day, Naruto was more than ready to just take care of the problem instead of letting it stew, but with Yugao not under his control, since he never found an optimal time, she cut off his idea and entered the Land of Wave.
What they all expected was not what they were greeted with. They thought of the Land of Wave as a simple Fishing Harbour and Port, where trade was plenty and the people thrived, they expected to see children laughing and smiling running through the streets, the women gossiping and going about their daily lives creating a good and proper home, while the men would be hard at work providing for their family, they expected to see a situation of something like back at Konoha, but it was just the opposite; children roaming the streets, their eyes gaunt, sunken cheeks, their bodies thin, and with each step, their faces scrunched up in pain, the women hesitantly walking, looking over their shoulders from time to time, their eyes filled with despair, but the men were nowhere to be found, and sure they caught sight of one but just as quickly disappeared.
But what truly troubled them was the number of goons, thugs and other unfit people of society roaming around harassing the women and stealing stuff from children, and from the looks of it, they weren't native to this town what with the thugs being the only people who seemed to enjoy what's going around them. When the people caught sight of their group, the children were whisked away by the women and went into the darkened alleyways, round the corner, their intuition sensing trouble, and rightly so, when Naruto, whose face was contorted with anger, was about to charge in, the Chakra within him about to burst, he was swiftly stopped by Yugoa who signed to him that it was better for them to not face the thugs and stay focused on the mission at hand.
Instead of facing them, they took the long way around, Naruto using his Shadow Clones to distract them while they used the cover of the smoke created to hide their movements, using the Shunshin to quickly reach the client's home.
Tazuna knocked on the door, his forehead lined with sweat with the close call he had today, and was preparing himself for the teary explanation he would have to give now, but before his mind could linger on what could be his impending failure of saving his country, he let out a sigh of relief as the door was opened by his daughter, and greeted her with a smile which didn't reach his ears.
Tazuna's daughter invited them in and noticed that she had garnered the attention of the lone male in the escort team, his eyes shining with appreciation and frankly, the attention pleased her after the death of her late husband, she deserved something good in her life and it seemed she just found it.
"Welcome everyone. My name is Tsunami, and I thank you for taking care of my father on the journey, my father's safety truly means a lot to me, so please allow me to serve you during your stay." Tsunami bowed her head.
"The pleasure is all mine, and I assure you, we will protect your father through his work, but before we can truly begin, my team and I deserve some explanation, Tazuan-San." Yugao greeted Tsunami, but her tone shifted dramatically as she turned towards the Master Bridge Builder. "You lied on the mission request, stating that this was simply an escort/protection mission, to see you safely in Wave and to stay guard while you complete the bridge we had seen on the way in, not only that, the people that had been trailing us landed here. We were attacked by Shinobi who shouldn't even exist, so tell me, why is the Land of Waves in such a perilous state and why shouldn't I lead my team back to Konoha?"
As Tazuna flustered to explain, Naruto's eyes were solely on the daughter, his eyes taking in her long, midnight blue hair, her long-sleeved pink shirt with the ends and collar being red, and her blue skirt which did little to hide her lithe legs, and her curves hidden yet so alluring, Naruto knew that she was someone who he could not lose his sight off. Naruto focused his attention when Tazuna started explaining the problem.
"Please, I beg your forgiveness, but I honestly had no choice, with the Country in such a dire state, if I hadn't made my move now to request a mission, the whole of the Land of Waves would be swept away from the poverty, all because of the madman: Gato of Gato corporation, he caught his sights on our humble country, all because of a false rumour that the hills in the north were filled with precious materials and resources, and as you have seen around you, Gato doesn't care for our well being, having killed many of our men who dared oppose them, leaving behind widows and orphaned children. He even killed my son-in-law, Kaiza."
Naruto interrupted him, "Wait a minute, you mean Kaiza the owner of the ship, Nozomi, that Kaiza." He looked at him, his eyes wide with shock, barely noticing how Tazuna looked at him suspiciously or how Tsunami's eyes were filled with tears.
"How do you know him?" Tazuna's voice was laced with grief.
"H-he was the one who helped me reach Uzushiogakure back when I was little, he and I had become friends during our journey, so while I can't say I was close to him like you two are, I wish to offer my condolences to both of you." He bowed his head and turned to Yugao, "Please, Yugao-Sensei, we have to do something about this."
"Yes, we will Naruto-Kun, but our priority should remain the same, regardless of the changed situation; to guard Tazuna while he and his men build the bridge, we will focus on the Gato problem later." Yugao directed her next words to Tazuna and her Genin, "We'll set out in the morning, Hinata, Sarada, you will accompany me, while Naruto-Kun, I need you to fortify the home and protect Tsunami. You're free to explore the village, but I forbid you to engage in any battle without me there, be it thugs or bandits, you are to distract them and retreat. Is that clear?"
She received a chorus of agreement, and though one was reluctant, she let it go, "Tsunami-San, could you show us to our rooms."
...
Throughout the previous day, Naruto had completely focused on creating barriers around the house and the pier next to it, creating a detection seal barrier, an identification seal barrier, a time perception barrier, a paralysis barrier, and another barrier to disallow any forceful entries. The barrier had three layers; one was the detection and identification seal, the other had the paralysis seal and time perception seal, and the third was the complete removal seal, and all of them were interconnected to the Master Seal that Naruto had on hand. The identification seal had a two-part use, one was to display a holographic image of the person entering and the second was to discern as much information as possible based purely on their Chakra, meaning that Naruto's seal could identify the amount of chakra one had, the density as well as being able to figure out the possible Chakra Natures that the Shinobi or Kunoichi possessed.
When he was asked about it, he explained the difference between the detection and identification seal, and that the main difference was that the detection seal would only alert him if anyone crossed the outer barrier, and the identification seal was to show the person on display to identify whether or not the person is a threat. Naruto keyed the barriers to his teammates and sensei's Chakra alongside Tazuna and his family.
When he waved his team goodbye while standing on the front porch, he had the deep urge to complain about being left out. Still, he quickly remembered his goal, and right now was the perfect opportunity to do so, with Inari going straight after breakfast and only coming back at noon for lunch he had around five hours to do what he planned.
In the next two hours Naruto used his clones to help Tsunami around the house with the most mundane of tasks; washing the dishes, hanging the clothes on the washline, to foraging for food or fish, with each task completed Naruto slowly got closer to Tsunami opening up to her, telling her about the life he lived, his dreams and goals in his life, all the while making sure to place some subtle touches here and there, hoping that it would be enough to loosen her up.
"It is a shame that Yugao-Sensei didn't allow me to do what I do best, and kill this Gato person before he could do more harm," Naruto was laying it thick and he knew it, but it was more than enough to place a small seed of a big idea, and when it finally grows up, he will harvest the fruit over and over again. Killing Gato wouldn't be the problem, nor would his thugs or the other bandits he hired, the problem would be the mysterious Shinobi that had even his Sensei rattled.
Flashback (The Previous Day)
Their small group had quietly infiltrated the Land of Waves using the more hidden path, though longer would grant them safe access, all to send their pursuers in the sky in a different direction altogether. They had made decent progress crossing the surrounding marsh and were able to reach the main path straight to Tazuna's house, Naruto's sensory abilities reached out as far as he could, but there was a weird feeling in the bottom of his stomach that something was going to go wrong, so in anticipation, his fingers flexed in urgency as he resisted to pull out his Katana.
His eyes were flickering to every shadow, even the smallest of movement, be it small animals scurrying, or the leaves dancing in the wind, the paranoia was getting to Naruto's head and Yugao noticed it writing it off to battle jitters and placed her hand on Naruto's head, calming him down with a smile, but still wasn't enough to calm him completely. It was another five minutes before he felt the sinking feeling increase. In the next second, he had created four Shadow Clones who immediately pushed his team and Tazuna down before popping as four Shuriken each embedded themselves in their backs as two other shadows flew over them, landing on the trees ahead.
Naruto was already prepared for combat; his Chakra Chains flailing wildly, ready to protect his teammates, his Katana out imbued with Wind Release, Hinata on his right, her Byakugan glaring, her feet planted firmly as she stood in her Clan's defensive Kata, Sarada on his left, her crimson eyes shining through the mist, quickly analysing their opponents for any weaknesses, while their Sensei was in the front, her Katana glinting, her face hardened and fierce.
"Identify yourselves." Yugao's voice thundered.
"Why should we?" The one on the right replied, "Why should we answer to scum far below us? Why should the elite entertain the weak?" The two shinobi wore purple flak jackets, with high collars and additional padding on the shoulders, and two pockets on both sides of the chest, their heads covered with white-coloured cloth, covering their mouth and nose, leaving open their eyes. "Why should we answer to Konoha scum?"
"Fine then, don't identify yourselves, I'll do it myself." Yugao then whispered the next part, "When I give the signal, Naruto, I want you to create multiple Shadow Clones, and dispel them immediately, use the smoke to escape and I'll stay behind to do some recon."
As soon as Yugao made a single step forward, a cloud of smoke covered the group and when it dissipated it revealed only Yugao standing with an impassive look on her face, "Now then, shall we begin?"
The ground beneath Yugao cracked as she launched herself towards the enemy nin, her Katana already going through the motions, leaving behind a blurry image as she expected her swing to leave them both beheaded only for both of her targets to jump up at the last second, as she flew over their previous position she heard the tell-tale sign of an Explosive Seal on the branch. Using a quick substitution with a random rock she used the explosion to cover her tracks as she dashed between two trees, leaning right and then back, hoping that she could surprise them from a different angle, a Shadow Clone already in place with a small Genjutsu over it to make the clone damaged and bleeding having it lean against the tree in the most logical position if she were to be hit with the Seal.
Even with her limited Sensory abilities, she was able to make out the two enemy-nin take the bait and approach her injured, 'unconscious' figure, their kunai out as one of them took out a long piece of rope tying her hands and feet together and securing it to the tree trunk.
"What do you say, Shiko, want to have some fun with this bitch."
"No, I don't think you should," The one who asked had his eyes comically wide as Yugao's Katana pierced through his chest, its tip red as she removed it, blood gushing down the front as the nin fell, his partner surprised as he wildly swung his kunai, only for the same fate to befall him, his eyes mirroring the Katana, the fierce swing beheading him.
Yugao wasted no time, dispelling her Shadow Clone, and sheathing his Katana, crouching down to sift through anything the shinobi had, and luckily Yugao found the jackpot through the form of their village symbol which she found on their shoulders; a curved line looping to the left but not meeting, forming a half-formed q, with the top of the loop having a small protruding line, and the curved line having two more protruding lines, spaced apart with the bottom one being relatively shorter than the top. Other than that, she only found weapon pouches which she took and used a simple Fire Release Ninjutsu to remove the bodies.
"Naruto-Kun, you can come out now," Yugao called in no particular direction, and just from the trees behind her, Naruto appeared, his Chakra Chains retreating into his body, and standing in front of Yugao. "Naruto-Kun, why have you disobeyed my orders, I told you to protect our client."
"I know, but I wanted to field test my new Jutsu with my Chakra Chains, and it kind of worked, those two didn't realise me being there, and even you took a couple of seconds to notice me, but Yugao-Sensei, tell me, how'd you like me new Jutsu."
"Your Jutsu is commendable, being able to manipulate your Chakra Chains to cover your body and camouflage yourselves, using the Chains to suppress your Chakra, work hard enough, and no doubt you'll give even Jiraya-Sama a hard time in finding you. Now enough chat, let's catch up with the others."
Flashback End
"Naruto-San," Tsunami's voice pulls him out of his thoughts, "What do you mean, how would you even possibly kill Gato, he has an army of thugs and bandits not to mention those Shinobi that he's hired."
"Tsunami-San, you worry too much, and I'll tell you how I'll kill Gato," Naruto's Chakra Chains enveloped his body, surprising Tsunami who gave a yelp and stumbled back, as Naruto disappeared, "I'll walk straight through the front. Do you believe me now, Tsunami-San?"
Tsunami's eyes were filled with hope as she stammered out, "T-then you'll kill Gato."
"I can but I cannot." And just like that, her hope vanished, "Yugao-Sensei has ordered me not to engage with the enemy and if I do as you say, I will most definitely be disobeying her, and the punishment is severe. It is only rare circumstances or incentives that pushed any Shinobi to go against their superior." And with that little nugget of information, Naruto let Tsunami stew her brains while he exited the house to train
A Couple of Hours Later
Tazuna and Naruto's team returned and they were all sitting together at the table eating the dinner that Naruto and Tsunami procured from the surrounding woods and lake also pointedly ignoring Tsunami's son, Inari, who was glaring at the newcomers with fury in his eyes, but none of them made contact, peacefully eating dinner, recognizing the ticking time bomb when they saw one and skillfully ignored his glares only for him to slam his fists on the table.
"Just why do you even bother, Gato has an army just waiting to be ordered while you're only four people, what can you do that our whole village could not." He had tears streaming down his face,
Silence reigned for a few seconds before Naruto stood up, "Kid, follow me," Not looking back to see if he was, Naruto stepped out of the house, standing on the porch, his hands on his hips. Sensing Inari arrive he said, "You said that Gato has an army, and how that Wave had failed in protecting this village," He placed a hand on his head, "Kid, you must never lose hope, but seeing that you have, I'll give you something to be hopeful of." Crossing his fingers, he declared, "Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu."
It was a sea of clones, as far as the eye can see, the residents of the house flapping their mouths behind them, standing in shock, unable to speak.
With a simple mental command, he dispelled his Shadow Clones, "Trust us kid, it wouldn't hurt."
That Night
Naruto had the first guard so he was wide awake meditating on the front porch, his sensory abilities keeping track of the people under his protection; everybody was asleep except for Tsunami who was pacing her bedroom, her Chakra fluctuating revealing her nervousness, continuing on her same path for the next ten minutes, before she stopped, her Chakra calming as she slowly exited her bedroom, making her way towards him, each step filled with determination, bringing about a smile on his face.
'It's working just as I expected, though I had thought she would've been convinced to come to me a bit later, but I guess the demonstration must have strengthened her decision.'
"Naruto-Kun, I am sorry to disturb you at this hour, but I really need to ask you something," Seeing Naruto nod, she continued, "Earlier today you said that you could easily kill Gato, and seeing so many of your clones had me convinced that you could do it, but I cannot wait for the bridge to finish so that you could kill Gato, and you said that an incentive must be provided, so I wish to offer you an incentive that I have never offered anyone before."
"Go on."
Tsunami took a deep breath, taking one of Naruto's hands in hers and placing it against her breasts, "I'm willing to give you my body for a night if it means you'll disobey your sensei. And I know for a fact that you want me; I've seen your lingering stares, your unnecessary touches, I can feel the arousal of a pubescent boy, so I'll sacrifice my modesty if it means survival for Wave." Eyes closed and facing away, Tsunami both wished to and didn't wish to hear what he was going to say.
"I accept, just give me a week, alright, Tsunami-Chan? By the end of the week, I'll have Gato's lifeless body in the middle of the village."

Over the next week, Naruto was training like crazy focusing on his new Jutsu; 'Chakra Chains: Variant 3', the other two variants being one with the ability to suppress your chakra and the other with the ability to create seals from the tips of the chains, calling them 'Variant 1' and 'Variant 2' respectively. With the week of intense training, he was now confident that he could fool even his sensei with his Jutsu, but the only way to find out was by a field test and what better way to do it than killing Gato in cold blood?
It was the night of the sixth day when Naruto exited the home, leaving behind a single Shadow Clone with little less than half his Chakra to remain guard, while he swiftly used the trees to reach Gato's mansion, previously the mansion to the country's Daimyo who Gato and his men brutally killed. He stopped at a hill overlooking the mansion and pulsed his chakra twice, only having to wait for a second before four Shadows rose from the ground, kneeling in a circle around him.
"Octo, report."
"Hai, Naruto-Sama. Gato has approximately 500 mercenaries, with none of them, save two, equipped with any decent weapons, the two being his two main bodyguards, their names Zori and Waraji, who are equipped with Katanas made from the Land of Iron. In addition to the mercenaries he has hired around a dozen four-man squads from the Land of Sky, and all of them are equipped with the standard weapon pouches. There is a distinction between the squad leaders and the other shinobi, in that the squad leaders have their bandana white instead of the normal purple, and by our estimate, each shinobi has around Mid-Chunin to High-Chunin levels of Chakra, with the squad leaders having Low-Jonin to Mid-Jonin levels of Chakra. Their day-to-day routine does not vary; Zori and Waraji are always seen beside Gato, while the thugs roam the village harassing the civilians or pleasure themselves with the woman they procured through their slave trade. The shinobi he hired are more organized; they stay together in small groups, constantly on guard and lord over the normal mercenaries. Their patrols only have a single opening; when they change squads for the outer walls and arrogantly believe that with eight of them, no sensible man would try and attack or infiltrate. The opening lasts for ten seconds and the next available opening would be present after six hours. Luckily, you've reached with only two hours to spare before the opening is present, so until then, we await your orders."
"Then we'll wait,"
The two hours passed quickly, with the four Anbu on guard while Naruto meditated, occasionally talking with his Anbu guards and discussing plans for Wave once they took over Wave as one of their colonies, using Uzushiogakure's resources to evolve the Land of Wave from a simple fishing village with an enormous amount of potential to become, with the right guiding hand, a country to secure its position as a strong, stable country both economic and military-wise. And Uzushiogakure will be that guiding hand.
Naruto stood up, his Chakra furiously rushing throughout his body, and addressed the Anbu, "I want you to take care of any escaping mercenaries and shinobi that try and escape, and do leave one or two of the shinobi alive, I want you to interrogate them for any useful information. You have your orders, dismissed."

It was a glorious bloodbath, Naruto had blazed in with his Chakra Chains and Katana, slashing, hacking and tearing apart any who stood in his way, and surprisingly many of them stood their ground, just hurrying the inevitable. The sky shinobi on the other hand were a different matter altogether; he had caught their attention quickly and they soon began to counter-attack, using their unique ability to fly and started pelting him with hordes of kunai and shuriken all of them dropping to the ground as Naruto's Chakra Chains deflected all of them.
To counter their ability to fly, Naruto created dozens of Shadow Clones flinging them in the air with his Chakra Chains, slaughtering the flying shinobi, their screams ringing out through the night sky, as they began to fall around Naruto, who ignored everybody else and was now forcing his way into the mansion not holding back his strength, destroying the twenty-foot doors, crushing many more mercenaries beneath it.
Climbing the stairs, proceeding down the hallway, creating another half-a-dozen Shadow Clones to investigate the other rooms lining the hallway, stopping in front of the room where he sensed Gato sitting behind his desk, his panic evident as his meagre, untapped Chakra fluctuating wildly, while his two guards, Zori and Waraji were on either side of the door, hoping to ambush him.
Readying two of his Chains where the two guards were, he pierced the wall and used one hand to push open the door, glancing impassively at the lifeless bodies, flicking his chains of their blood, his nose crinkling as it was hit with the distinct smell of urine, the owner of said urine was cowering behind his desk.
"Gato, Gato, Gato, look at what you made me do; killed all of these men who followed you, killed your two most trusted bodyguards, and all because you just couldn't curb your lust for riches and power, oh and the women, of course, how could I possibly miss that, not with you having rooms filled with them, some broken and numb, while others screaming mindlessly, and don't worry, they'll be in safe hands now, I'll have my men escort them back to a safe place, though you don't need to know where it's not like you'll be alive by the next day." Naruto laughed at his words, Gato's pitiful whimpers fueling it even further, wiping a tear away, "But, I'm not that merciless, you give me something I want, and I'll guarantee your safety out of this place, I promise on the Uzumaki name. So, what do you say, do you agree to my very fair proposal?"
"W-wha-at d-d-o y-ou e-e-even w-ant?"
"Me, oh that's simple: give me all yer gold, or I'll mug ya." Naruto declared, his voice becoming deeper and gruff.
"Wh-what?"
"I'm just messing with you, well not really, I need you to sign over your business in my name, which includes any assets or offshore accounts that you have hidden anywhere, and please don't dilly dally, I'm not a patient man, so don't tempt me."
It took only a few minutes for Gato to transfer the entirety of his fortune to Naruto's name, naming Naruto the owner of the Gato Company: Transportation and Shipping, now named Whirlwind Enterprises. Even if simply signing some papers took only a couple of minutes, the entire process of liquidizing his assets, transferring the amount to a single account, removing several hundred to thousands employees who were only in for the luxury they could afford, to rebuild the entire company from the ground up, to make it much more stable was going to take Naruto months or even years, so that's why he was allocating the whole tedious process to Kushina who promised that she would handle it when Naruto sent a letter about his plan.
As Gato was signing the papers Naruto noted, "To be honest with you Gato, I was truly disappointed, I had prepared so much for an awesome fight, but you mercenaries were truly pathetic, even more so the Shinobi you hired from the Land of Sky, I had truly hoped to find a decent opponent for me to test my skills. I was truly disappointed, you, Gato, one of the richest people in the world couldn't get your hands on a few decent shinobi worth my time."
But first and foremost his highest priority was to give back to the people of Wave.
While Gato was signing the papers, Naruto froze as he received a memory of a clone and growled when he processed what he saw, but waited until Gato was done signing all the necessary documents, a long agonising ten minutes, and when he signed his signature on the required papers, his Chakra Chains grabbed hold of Gato and pulled him towards him, his Chakra flooding the room, the Chains the only barrier saving Gato from dying to quickly, yet allowing him to feel the heavy weight of his wrath.
"You know, Gato, I was tempted to leave you, but could you guess what changed my mind? Hmmm, nothing, well you couldn't have replied if your life depended on it. No matter, I'll tell you. My clone just found a twelve-year-old on your bed, her hands and legs tied so she couldn't escape and in her words, she quotes, 'Be honoured, you'll be my first play-thing of this month, and I'm going to use you to my heart's content.' So I hope you have a good explanation Gato, or else I'll promise you that you won't be breathing in a few minutes."
"W-wai-" Gato was cut off, his head flying as Naruto's Katana flashed wildly, with not even a speck of blood on his body.
"You bored me," His Chakra Chains unbinding the headless Gato, sneering at the body, using the Shunshin to exit the room meeting his Anbu outside in the Mansion's courtyard, glancing over the throes of women all huddled together in groups, some shivering in fear, their eyes wandering helplessly over the men, while others looked at the night sky, their eyes listless as they did not acknowledge Naruto arriving, but his attention was to someone else, the young girl who he had saved from Gato's lust.

Naruto arrived back at Tazuna's house at around 4 in the morning, noticing his Shadow Clone in his bedroll, faking sleep and timing his infiltration of the house exactly as Hinata, who had the last shift on guard duty, deactivated her Byakugan, using his Chakra Chains: Variant 3 as a precaution, he approached his clone, using a small seal to seal away the clone as to not have the fluctuation of Chakra noticed by anyone. For the next two hours, Naruto was lost in thought, wondering if he had made the correct decisions but eventually accepted what he had decided and to see where that would take him.
Two hours passed before the rest of the people woke up and started about their day; Yugao going through her Kenjutsu Katas, Sarada training her Sharingan by trying to follow Yugao's movements while Hinata meditated to conserve her energy, and Naruto used his clones to help Tsunami around the house, which gave him the perfect opportunity to inform her about the success.
"Tsunami-Chan, I've done what you asked, so choose a time and date you'll be comfortable with and let me know, so I can make the necessary arrangements." Tsunami stood frozen, not willing to accept what she heard, not noticing as Naruto led her by the hand and had her lay down on her stomach on a sofa while he took over what she was doing as another one of his clones started massaging her shoulders, slowly going down her back, unravelling the knots that had formed from the stress she took over the years of caring for her family being widowed twice, having to worry for her father as he went against Gato and to learn that the boy who had taken an interest in her had done what he had promised.

Naruto released the clone he had sealed early morning and mentally ordered it to transform into a rat to hide away from Sarada's Sharingan and Yugao's sensory abilities, while Sarada would've stayed quiet, taking unnecessary risks was not his style. He was informed of the clone's success when it popped telling him that the range of the seal was extended a comfortable distance out of Yugao's abilities.
When he sensed the man entering the seal, he did not go and inform Yugao as he normally did, instead, he went outside and sat beside Sarada on the porch, his hand circling her waist, her body leaning against Naruto.
"Sarada-Chan," Naruto whispered, "I want you to go inside and stay with Hinata-Chan, and do tell her to not use her Byakugan, I want some privacy." Sarada nodded, and Naruto sent her off with a kiss on her cheek.
"Yugao-Sensei, can I speak with you in private?"
"Of course, Naruto-Kun, let's just get some distance from the house."
The pair travelled a hundred meters away from the house, before coming across a suitable clearing, where Yugao sat down leaning against the tree and waving a hand for Naruto to do the same.
"So, what did you want to speak with me?"
"I went against your order, Yugao-Sensei." And just as he expected, Yugao's killer intent flowed over him, but he remained unaffected, having felt the brunt of the Kyubi's killer intent as practice, he remained calm and said, "A week before, Tsunami-Chan came begging to me, pleading me to kill Gato and his men, to free them from his dictatorship, and I couldn't refuse her. I asked her to give me a week so that I could practice my Chakra Chains: Variant 3, though I had little use of it and just last night, I attacked Gato and killed his men as well as the shinobi from the Land of Sky, ransacking the mansion for any valuables and freeing any prisoners. Did you know, Yugao-Sensei, that Gato and his men had a slave and drug trade, and that they raped the women they bought repeatedly until they were broken, and out of all the women I've freed, there was only one who had been left untouched." Naruto stopped letting Yugao take in what he had just said.
Yugao replied a few minutes later, "Kami, Naruto-Kun, just listening to what you just said has given me a headache. You will be receiving a pay cut and more than likely suspension from missions for going against your superior, but hopefully, our record will convince the Hokage otherwise. So what happened to the women you saved?"
"During the attack, I was greeted with a few Anbu, not of Konoha, but of Uzushio, and since none of the women were from the Land of Wave I decided to send them with the Anbu to Uzushio where they will be treated for the injuries and trauma they suffered. All of them except one accepted the offer."
"You met with foreign Anbu and you trusted them without any hesitation. What if they were some other Anbu undercover as Uzushio Anbu? Damn it, Naruto, you have got to be more careful than that. Did you check their identification and proof that they were who they said they were?"
Naruto looked at her with mock hurt, "Who do you think I am Sensei? I have my sensory abilities, and besides they showed me their Chakra Chains as well, all four of them, so there was no danger. And if they were foreign Anbu, I have an ace in the hole that is far more dangerous than all of their strength combined."
"Hmm, okay then, what about the last women who refused to follow the Anbu?"
"She decided to come back to Konoha with me, asking that I take her as a ward, and, well, I accepted."
"What if she is a spy, Naruto-Kun?"
"She's only around my age, with Chakra not even at Genin Level, she didn't even have the strength to walk when I freed her from Gato's bed, so I doubt that she is a spy."
Yugao relented, "Fine, but if anything happens, you'll be responsible. But I will have to put this in the report." She tried to get up, only for Chakra Chains to burst from the ground, binding her against the tree, and suppressing her Chakra. "Naruto-Kun, explain."
"You see, Yugao-Sensei, I can't risk you writing down any of what I have just said, but instead you will be fabricating a story, something not too extreme but also believable, as I don't want my strength to be known by anyone before I feel the time is right."
"And how will you even convince me to listen to you?"
Naruto smiled, "Simple, I will make you fall in love with me."
"And just how will you do that?"
"I already have." Naruto used his Jutsu through the Chains and the expected result was immediate; Yugao's head lolling down, her body limp, not resisting the Chains, which after a full minute of Naruto using the jutsu, unravelled and allowed Yugao to fall to the ground, who was caught by Naruto and rested her against the tree, before using his Lightning Release Chakra to flood her body waking her up and leaving her on the brink of orgasming.

"Tazuna! Tazuna! Come quickly!" The man shouted, and stood in front of the porch, with Naruto and Yugao standing in front of him attempting to calm him down but failing his words became more and more incoherent as time passed and Tazuna failed to appear.
Tazuna appeared a few minutes later, out of breath and panting heavily, yet he managed to shake the person enough to bring him to his senses.
"Kenta," The man was called, "What the hell is wrong with you? Calm down and explain."
"Gato, he's, he's just disappeared."
Tazuna's eyes widened, "What do you mean just disappeared? How can that even be possible?"
"Tazuna-San, if what he says is true, then my team and I should investigate the situation. Naruto-Kun, leave some clones behind, Sarada, Hinata with me." Turning towards the distressed pair of civilians, "Don't worry Tazuna-San, we'll be back before you know it."
After an Hour
Naruto and his team returned to the anxious and scared faces of Tazuna and his family, noticing that Kenta was missing, they were informed that Kenta went on to share the good news with everyone, though it wasn't needed, since Naruto had created several Shadow Clones to spread the news with the civilians.
Tsunami gasped in shock when she caught sight of a bundle on Naruto's back, who turned out to be the same girl from Gato's Mansion, and gingerly took the girl off Naruto and carried her inside to her bedroom. The rest just moved about what they usually did, Yugao taking Tazuna and Naruto with her to finish the bridge, with Yugao hoping to make ample use of his clones, while she ordered Hinata and Sarada to stay behind since they would be of more use to Tsunami than Naruto, and asked them to look for Inari who was absent since he left after breakfast.
Naruto smiled, 'Plans are going as expected, so before going to Tsunami, I'll distribute the money that Gato has stolen from the people of Wave, take a portion of the money equivalent to an S-Rank mission, and keep the rest to invest in my new Company: The Whirlwind Enterprises.'

"Eh, Ji-Chan, how will Naruto-nii do that?" Inari asked, his eyes scrunched up as he thought over it.
"Considering that if Wave was ever in trouble, Konohagakure would react too late to handle the matter, but Uzushiogakure is only hours away, so it was decided that the Land of Wave would become, in a sense, a colony to Uzushiogakure, and in return Uzushiogakure would send over their Shinobi, advisers as well as their builders who would take up residence here, helping us build our quiet and humble fishing town to a massive and successful port, bringing in much-needed wealth to our Country."
Tsunami and Inari were at a loss for words, but for different reasons, Inari couldn't understand the grownup talk but understood that Wave would prosper as it did before, while Tsunami understood the entire thing and looking at Naruto on why would he go to such lengths for them.
Tazuna continued, "Uzushiogakure will be creating a small outpost in different areas around the village, and have a constant presence of their Shinobi, but the leadership of Wave would remain with the people of Wave, Uzushio will only provide advisors to help us improve with different areas, such as first and foremost our economy. And you can bet my life that within just a couple of weeks, the Country will be back up and running like never before."

But now that I've answered your question, I want you to answer one of mine." Naruto had fixed Tsunami with a glare, "Tell me the real reason behind your unmotivatedness?"
It took only a few seconds before the dam broke, prompting Naruto to hold her close, as she blubbered out her answer, "I...f-feel t-that I...a-am s-sully-ying K-K-Kaiza'a memory...i-if I c-continue."
