The girls finished their dance and beckoned the clumsy redhead, Anna, to the stage. Rapunzel proffered Regulus a beautiful Calendula. He grabbed the slight braid that he had started just behind his temple and then added a very small section to place the Calendula in. There was only a quarter of an inch between the flowers. Anna grinned as she sang her part.

Never hold back

It still felt weird to smile so much. She was saying to never hold back who he was. He was making progress to carefree in who he was. He could take a few lessons with Camilo.

Regulus thought that he had reached himself, cool, calm, collected, not a single wild bone in his body. Needed to preserve the image of Heir Black, didn't he?

You never make it all fade to black

He thought of every single dark vision that he's ever had and thought of how they seemed to be surrounded by darkness as they floundered in what to do with the horrible news.

Regulus was reminded of the dark cave that he had dragged himself to in order to save Kreacher.

Common sense is something they lack

The pair of men chuckled. The seer wondered if he had any common sense. Why would anyone perform a gift such as that of seeing the future in a toddler's room? Additionally, why throw glass in said toddler's room?

Regulus huffed as he reminisced about Sirius. Now, that man seemed to have no commonsense, running off into danger without considering the feelings of others. Though he should've asked for help with the cave, Regulus didn't think that anyone would care if he disappeared, other than Kreacher that is.

Especially when they decide to attack

People were truly evil, and lacked common sense when attacking the most sensitive of souls. Why do they need to harm others to make them feel good? Sirius and James had done that to Severus. Some Slytherins did it to Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs.

Many of the people of Encanto, especially the young teens, had done it to Mirabel. Still did it sometimes. The others of the family would get comments because they didn't go back to the way things were before.

And we can't give them any slack

After so many chances? No. Bruno was taking his role as Tío very seriously. They could do whatever they wanted with him, but once they turned on his family, all bets were off. It was also that he knew that they could take care of themselves as well. They would also protect him and that was a feeling and thought of being protected by others that made him feel soft and tender..

It takes a very long time for Regulus to start to openly care about others, but once he does, spells will go flying to ensure the safety of the ones he loves.

We love you to the moon and back

The tears finally released themselves. "I love you guys too!" Even a simple "Te amo" could get him to cry even after half a decade.

Regulus smiled with fond exasperation as well as a bit of uncomfortableness. He'd heard about how emotional tío Bruno was, but seeing it was different. He could see why everyone loved him, he was open and warm. Three pairs of innocent eyes stared at him. Two of them were sitting, the other dancing.

"We love you as well," Rapunzel stated kindly. Regulus averted his eyes.

You have a knack

For writing that's worthy of stacks

Of snacks

Bruno blinked disbelievingly at the trio. "Really?" he asked. He didn't think that his telenovelas were all that popular. Mirabel smiled hugely.

"For some of us, it's the only thing holding us together," she divulged. "Being a princess has as high of expectations as being a Madrigal." The seer hunched in on himself. He remembered the weight they had to carry not so long ago.

Regulus shuddered in empathy from bearing the weight of being part of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. He didn't wish it on anyone, especially young females that were only just beginning in their adult lives.

Those who don't enjoy them may need a verbal smack

And need to be sent to pack

And go on a different track

"That's so unkind," Bruno protested. Anna curtsied and took her place next to Rapunzel, and of course, she had a flower for him. Hers was Larkspur. Another section of hair was braided back.
