(And I've got a new chapter up for now. I hope you guys enjoy it.)
One night in Royal Woods, Lincoln was hoverboarding home, after a quick study session with Clyde, "Good thing my curfew has been extended. Otherwise I'd be in so much trouble." as he was about to turn a corner, a speeding car came out of nowhere and drove right past him.
In a brief moment as they crossed paths, Lincoln could see the two men in the car had bags of stolen money. Lincoln frowned, as they sped off, "I am not going to be grounded because of you," he turned to Omnitrix dial before slamming down on it transforming, "Big Chill!"
The ice moth alien flew after the car, as the one guy in the passenger seat looked in his mirror and gasped, "Uh, hey, Joe." he spoke to the driver.
"What is it, Chad?" the driver asked.
"We got a tail!"
Joe looked in his mirror and saw Big Chill flying after them, "Damn! It's one of those alien heroes. I'm flooring it!"
"Joe, you go any faster we'll go off the road!" Chad warned him.
"We're not going to jail after all the work we put into stealing this cash!" Joe responded, as he burned rubber.
Big Chill narrowed his eyes as he flew faster. Despite the car speeding past the limit, the moth alien went intangible and flew right through the car before spinning around and unleashed a breath of ice creating an ice wall. The crooks screamed, as Joey hit the breaks causing the getaway car to skid and spin around before crashing into the wall. Luckily for the two inside, they weren't hurt.
"What a bust." Chad groaned.
Big Chill pulled the car door off scaring the two before tugging them out of it and threw them to the ground.
"Alright ya got us." Joe grumbled.
Big Chill said nothing, as he turned to the getaway car and started chewing on the roof of it, "Whoa, what's he doing?" Chad asked in confusion.
"You some kind of freak?" Joe called to Big Chill who looked back at them and hissed like a wild animal.
The two screamed, and tried to run, but Big Chill just froze their feet keeping them in place. They watched, as Big Chill devoured their get away car, until police sirens rung in the air. Big Chill stopped eating and flew off before the cops arrived.
As they stepped out of their squad car they looked at the two crooks with their feet frozen to the ground, and their getaway car with huge bites in it.
"What happened here?" one of the cops asked the others.
"No idea." another answered, as they looked at the crooks who were still shaking with fear.
The next morning at the Loud House, Lincoln had woken up and got ready. He was currently in the bathroom brushing his teeth. After spitting the water out he looked at the mirror and smiled showing off his pearly whites.
"Hey, there, handsome," he told his reflection, before he felt something in his mouth. He reached inside and pulled out a piece of metal, "Where did that come from?" he wondered, but didn't have too much time to think on it knowing he'd be late for school.
As Lincoln arrived at school he saw his pals waiting for him. He followed them into the school, as Stella spoke, "So, Lincoln, heard you were busy last night."
"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked.
"You stopped a getaway car of course." Liam replied.
"I did?"
"Lincoln, you ok?" Rusty asked, as the group looked concerned.
"Yeah, but strange I don't remember stopping it." Lincoln rubbed his head.
"And according to the paper the crooks car looked like it was eaten up." Zach said.
"Eaten up?" Lincoln wondered.
"You wouldn't normally eat up something like that unless you were Upchuck," Clyde said, "And you couldn't have been Upchuck since the crooks were found with their feet frozen in ice."
"Which means you were Big Chill at the time." Stella deduced.
"I don't even remember what happened," Lincoln replied, "I remember turning on the Omnitrix and transforming, then next thing I knew I woke up in my room this morning."
"That is strange." Clyde agreed.
"Although you said I ate the crooks car?" Lincoln asked, as Zack nodded, "That explains what this was doing in my mouth." he held up the piece of metal.
The group looked at the piece until a voice called out, "Hey, guys!" the group looked and saw Tia approach.
Lincoln pocketed the piece of metal, before speaking to the girl, "Morning, Tia."
"Morning, Lincoln. You all heading for homeroom?" she asked.
"You betcha?" Liam confirmed.
"Well, then come on." Tia said, as they walked on.
Lincoln whispered to the group as they walked behind Tia, "We'll discuss this later after school." the group nodded, and proceeded to carry on.
During lunch time, Lincoln, his friends, and Tia were at their table enjoying their lunches. Well, the guys were trying to enjoy their lunch, if it weren't for the fact Lincoln was devouring his lunch like his life depended on it.
"Lincoln, maybe you should slow down before you choke." Stella warned him.
"And at least chew." Rusty said, as he tried to avoid getting Lincoln's mashed up food on his clothes.
"I'm sorry. I just feel so hungry today." Lincoln replied, as he kept gorging, before eying a sandwich on Liam's tray, "Are you having that?"
"Uh, not anymore." Liam slid the sandwich to Lincoln who scarfed it.
"Is he ok?" Tia asked the guys.
"Sure he's fine." Zach replied.
"He's just got an extra case of the munchies today.' Clyde covered, while secretly was concerned for Lincoln.
After school, Lincoln and his friends met in an empty parking lot to finish their discussion, "I went Big Chill, ate a car, and woke up not even remembering it?" Lincoln asked them.
"That sums it up." Clyde answered.
"Oh, boy." Lincoln said in worry.
"What is it?" Stella asked.
"I'm just starting to remember something like this happened before."
"You mean with Ghostfreak?" Clyde asked, as Lincoln nervously nodded.
"Ghostfreak?" the rest of their friends wondered.
"One of my original aliens before the Omnitrix changed," Lincoln explained, "He was a ghost-like alien. One of my more elusive, and terrifying aliens. Though as awesome as his ghostly abilities were, I always felt like I wasn't really myself when I changed into him. Then when I started having nightmares about him I started getting really worried. And when we went with Lori and Bobby to tour their new college, Ghostfreak came to life and told me that he's always been alive inside the Omnitrix fighting to break out. When he did he wanted the watch in order to make himself whole again. When me and my family fought him, it was tough since he kept possessing Lori in order to keep me from hurting him. Eventually I defeated him by getting him into sunlight which burned him to ash."
"That's one way to kill a ghost." Zach said.
"Yeah, too bad he didn't stay gone." Lincoln replied.
"How so?" Stella asked.
"You remember that eclipse that happened that summer years ago?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes." they replied.
"Turns out, Ghostfreak or as I found out then Zs'Skayr had three monster movie aliens who brought him back to life. They were tasked to steal technology and equipment to build him a device that would blanket the earth in eternal darkness allowing him to roam the planet without worry of light. And turn all the inhabitants into these hideous purple monsters."
"When villains plan, they plan big." Liam said impressed.
"Luckily we stopped his plan and defeated him again." Lincoln explained, "But what happened last night has me concerned if Big Chill is acting on his own."
"Well, Big Chill and Ghostfreak are both ghostly-like. So it's a possibility." Clyde answered.
"We're going to need to find out for sure, tonight. Everyone meet back up here at eight." Lincoln instructed. The group nodded and headed off.
That night the group met back up at the parking lot. Clyde looked around seeing they were short one important hero, "Where's Lincoln?"
"He said to meet here." Stella recalled.
"There he is." Rusty motioned over to Lincoln who was hover boarding over.
"Hey, guys."
"You're late." Zach reminded him.
"Sorry, had to stop and grab a quick bite," Lincoln replied with a burp, "Oh, excuse me. I tell ya guys I've been having craving's all day."
"If your binge eating during lunch was any indication I can believe it." Clyde said.
"Anyway, let's get started," Lincoln began, "I'm gonna go alien, and I want you guys to follow me and see what I do. Think you can keep up?"
"We got our bikes all ready." Clyde assured him.
"Ok. Let's try Jetray," Lincoln said, as he turned the dial and stopped on said alien. He slammed on the dial and transformed, "Jetray!"
Suddenly Jetray transformed into Big Chill who announced, "Big Chill!"
"Huh?" the group asked.
"Lincoln, I thought you were going Jetray." Rusty said.
"He did, but he just switched." Stella noted.
"Lincoln?" Liam asked Big Chill who said nothing before taking off into the sky.
"He's on the move, come on!" Clyde ordered, as they mounted their bikes and followed him.
As the ice moth alien flew through the sky, the others followed him on the ground making sure to keep up with him.
"Where do you think he's going?" Rusty asked the group.
"No idea." Liam replied.
"Wait, look!" Stella motioned ahead to see Burpin' Burger.
"Well, nothing suspicious about that." Clyde admitted.
"But didn't he just eat?" Zach recalled.
The group stopped their bikes as Big Chill landed in the outdoor area. The teens kept their distance and decided to just observe Lincoln.
Big Chill looked at the doors metal bar handle before munching on it much to the teens shock, "Is he eating that door bar?" Zach asked in disbelief.
"I hate to say it, but he is." Rusty confirmed.
Big Chill stopped, before someone carrying a metal food tray with food on it came around the corner. Upon spotting the alien moth, he panicked, dropped his tray and ran off. Big Chill picked up the tray looking at the food. He tossed it away like it didn't matter and just devoured the tray."
"He threw the food away but ate the tray?" Stella asked.
"Something's definitely wrong with him." Clyde said in concern.
They watched him fly up to the Burpin' Burger sign, and started eating away at it. Unable to watch anymore, the teens came out from hiding and went up to the place looking up.
"Lincoln, what're you doing?!" Clyde called up to him.
"I get you're still hungry, but that can't be good for you!" Liam called.
Big Chill looked back down and hissed, "Leave me alone!"
The guys backed away in shock, "He's never spoken to us like that before." Clyde gasped.
After Big Chill took a few more bites out of the sign he took off flying, "Come on!" Stella ordered, as they got back on their bikes and followed the alien's trail.
Big Chill took notice of his pursuers and hissed, "Stay away!" he tried breathing ice at them.
Fortunately, the group were able to ride around the ice attack and continued to pursue their friend. When Big Chill flew around into an alley, they followed only to see him fly right through a brick wall.
"No!" Clyde cried.
"We can't lose him." Zach said.
"Let's keep looking." Rusty suggested, as they rode out of the alley and rode around to where he might've flown.
Later on, Lincoln was back to normal while lying down in a ditch somewhere outside Royal Woods. He groaned, before opening his eyes.
"What the?" Lincoln looked around seeing the big ditch he was laying in, "Oh, man." he groaned, while feeling his head.
(And there's part one. Something's definitely up with Lincoln, and his friends want to help him. Don't miss next time.)
