Prelude Cheyenne & Lillia's First Halloween
It was a dark Halloween night and the sunset has yet come to a close. Though Halloween is almost over for the kids, but not to us it was over just yet. Aki, Aaloka and Erica invited Cheyenne Woodbridge, an Algonquin Canadian mother whom we befriended late last year, to a girls Halloween night and watch over the kids after trick or treating, that was Cheyenne's first ever girls night with them.
Our kids Hinata and Cameron along with Aaloka's kid Pia, Aki's boy Michael and Cheyenne's girl Lillia just returned from trick or treating in town, in fact that was Lillia's first ever trick or treating,
"I can't believe how many candy I got on my first year." Lillia said gleefully,
"Getting Doritos and caramel popcorn is a jackpot for me." Michael said,
"What's weird is some guy gave us jars of Bick's pickles." Cameron said,
"Yeah it is weird getting pickles on Halloween." Hinata said perplexed,
"Eh, not that I'm complaining. I love pickles." Cameron said as opens the jar and snack on a pickle,
"Would anyone trade for milk chocolates? I can't have anything that are milk or lactose based." Pia asked,
"You can have my Bick's pickles." Hinata offered,
"Deal." Pia said they made a trade, then Pia chows down on a pickle,
"How's the trick or treating going kids?" Erica asked,
"Oh it was smooth sailing." Hinata said,
"It went faster than expected." Michael said,
"How fast?" Aki asked,
"We beat a record time this year mom." Michael said,
"48 minutes and 23 seconds all over town." Cameron said,
"How's your first trick or treating sweetie?" Cheyenne asked,
"I loved every moment of it mom."Lillia answered,
"It's too bad Silas and the twins are gonna join us this Halloween." Pia said,
"How come?" Aaloka asked,
"Daryl got sick with a fever and Tiffany Lee stays to take care of him as Silas and Andy went with Bruce." Pia answered,
"Andy said he'll get the goodies for Daryl as well." Cameron added,
"Oh poor dear." Cheyenne said feeling bad for Daryl,
"Well it's too bad they won't join us. But since we're here, it's time for our Halloween tales." Aki said,
"YAY!" Cameron, Pia, Cameron and Michael cheered gleefully,
"Tales? As in stories?" Lillia asked,
"Yeah, Halloween stories." Pia answered,
"You all tell Halloween stories?" Cheyenne asked,
"Oh we tell spooky stories every Halloween for 10 years." Erica explained,
"We at times added special guest characters to boot." Aaloka said,
"Like who?" Cheyenne asked,
"Well Michael Jackson for one." Aki said,
"Curtis Joseph." Erica said,
"Lucy Loud." Cameron said,
"Is there a guest characters in your stories this year?" Lillia asked,
"You'll have to wait. Can't spoil it you know."Aki said,
"Well then, who wants to go first?" Hinata asked,
"I'll go first. Okay, my first story of the night, is filled with class, excitement and love. 'Sigh', but later on horrific tragedy begins to strike your very lives. My version of this story is inspired by a very true story. My version I called…"
