Makoto sighed, lying on the evergreen grass on the back of his new school.

'I missed Hope's Peak...' he sighed under his breath.

Today was truly an unlucky day for our luckster. It has been three months since he was accepted as a student at Hope's Peak Academy. He made a lot of friends and made a good impression on both his classmates and his senpais from the upper class. In a way, our Makoto was a social butterfly, and with his optimism, he made quite a lot of friends—no, a lot is a meager word—whole Hope's Peak students from Ultimate courses at some point were his friends.

Bringing back his memories, he smiled faintly, remembering how down everyone were once they heard the news of him leaving the school. Why? Because of his dad.

It was November, and his dad stormed in to pack clueless Makoto's clothes.

"Son, in every man's life there is a moment when they should finally separate from their parents and set their views on something higher."

"H-Huh? What?"

His face full of sweat and eyes rolling in confusion, he stood facing his dad, who happened to have a worried look.

"Basically, son, I want you to move to another city. I already talked this over with principal Kirigiri and your mom, as well as Komaru." Makoto was still confused. "So that's why... You will be moving to another city, alone."

"What!?"

Not even letting poor Makoto have a chance to say anything, his dad, with all of his son's clothes, dragged him into the taxi, told the driver to ride him towards the airport, and gave him money and his phone.

"See you, son!" He said nothing, not even letting Luckster say anything as he shut the door and waved the driver to go.

Later that day on the airplane, completely confused, he read the text of his father saying that his house expenses and food expenses would be covered and that he would attend a new school in a city named Kuoh.

'JUST WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?' Ultimate screamed in his mind while seeing how the plane departed.

Makoto Naegi was forced out of his home and forcefully dragged into the new city.

It has been a week since his arrival in Kuoh, a small city with kind people.

Sighing to himself, he remembered how he enrolled here and how red his face was when he found out that this private academy where he was forced to attend used to be an all-girl school, and as of now, the ratio of female and male students is 7:3, which means that male students in here are as rare as snow in summer.

Today was the day when he would finally attend his class. Looking towards his phone, he smiled, seeing messages from his previous classmates.

103 missed calls and 300 missed messages—okay, maybe his smile was present, but it twitched the moment he saw the sight of his phone being ripped apart by non-stop incoming messages.

Maizono:Makoto-kun! Answer immediately!

Mondo: Oi, Naegi! What is with you going to another city?

Junko: Hey hey! How am I supposed to feel your hope if you enroll in another school? You better not attract any female attention beside mine, or I will fill them with utter despair!

Kyouko: Makoto-kun, call me immediately.

And there were more of these kinds of messages.

Nagito: My Hope! I can't express how drained I am to hear you are leaving! I am coming to this Kuoh city!

Kuzuryu:Wtf, Makoto! Why the fuck have your parents decided to move you to another city?

Peko: Please, Naegi-kun, call me, okay?

All the students at Hope's Peak wrote him tons of messages. He sighed with a smile still present as he turned off his phone. Later this night, he will spend a good 5 hours explaining the situation to everyone. He won't even sleep.

As he stood up, he heard the bell ring, noticing students at the start of lessons. Makoto, meanwhile, was heading to the teacher's office; after all, today was his first day at school.

Despite being separated from his classmates, he still seemed happy about the thought of gaining new friends. Who knows, maybe this school isn't half bad?

He laughed at the thought of making new friends and hanging out with them. Maybe he will be able to befriend his new friends with friends from Hope's Peak? He was excited nonetheless! His face had a huge and cute grin on it, and he nearly dashed towards his classroom.

"So you are a new transfer student, huh?"

His new teacher scanned him from head to toe. She admitted that the guy was surely cute—and adorable at that.

Makoto nervously bowed down, his Ahoge funnily moving along.

"Nice to meet you, ma'am! I am Makoto Naegi, and I am extremely happy to meet you!"

His new teacher had a tear in her right eye.

'What a polite kid...'

Makoto looked at her, impatient to meet his new class. She, of course, noticed that and lightly chuckled.

"You wait here while I announce that you are our new student. Come in when I will call your name. Makoto nodded lightly as the said teacher entered.

The next minute happened exactly as he expected. Teacher getting the attention of her students, them greeting the teacher, and then...

"Naegi Makoto, please enter."

He breathed in, and with a brave and confident smile, he entered. This is it. It's time to give everyone a good impression!

Too bad that despite being an Ultimate Lucky student, he was pretty...unlucky.

He tripped the moment he entered and, with a thud, rolled in the air for about 10 seconds before landing on his buttocks.

Crash!

He fell. His face all red, he stood up, clearing his throat.

"S-Sorry!!" He immediately bowed up and down as if he were on some sort of Energizer.

Face all red and eyes closed as hard as they could, his new classmates continued to stare at him, apologizing.

Truth be told, they all started to giggle. Even the classroom teacher. But it wasn't a laugh that meant to mock someone; no, it was a pure laugh.

'Adorable!' The whole class thought in unison.

Now opening his eyes Makoto's face became even more red than it used to. His class was filled mostly with girls. His cheeks reddened as the majority of girls here were beautiful enough to rival many of his friends from Hope's Peak.

"Now, now than..." The teacher clapped her hands. "Naegi-kun, I believe it will be good if you will explain from where and why you came here.

Makoto nodded slowly.

"U-Umm... My name is Makoto Naegi; nice to meet you all! He said as he was bowing down again. Needless to say, the class thought he was adorable again. "I came from Hope's Peak Academy and—"

"EHHHH?"

"H-Hope's Peak? That incredible academy for nurturing young talents!"

Girls and boys all together exclaimed in surprise.

Makoto's sweat dropped, but it wasn't that surprising. Only a few were able to attend Ultimate School for Ultimate students, and most of the people from there had an incredible future awaiting them.

Makoto just scratched the back of his head.

"Yeah, I came from there. Haha."

Next he introduced his hobbies, and the teacher told him to sit near the window—what a cliche place to sit, huh?

Students skimmed him all over, which made him nervous, but nonetheless, the lesson passed quite smoothly.

Ring*

The school bell,It was time for lunch. Well, it was supposed to be time for lunch, but students decided to bombard Makoto with tons of questions.

"So you are from Hope's Peak? What kind of talent do you have?"

The first to speak to him was a bald boy with little to no hair on his head.

"Slow down there, Matsuda." Another guy, who was wearing glasses, said as he was getting the attention of his other friend.

"Eh? What is it, Motahama?"

"Before asking what kind of talent he has, we should know one thing..."

The atmosphere changed in the room. Strangely, all the classmates stopped as they were curious about what Motohama was about to say.

"Yes! The thing I am eager to ask you, Makoto Naegi!" Makoto gulped, awaiting the question. "What type of boobs do you prefer?"

His glasses shined for a moment. Motohoma was dead serious, and so was Matsuda.

Class deadpanned at this; some were laughing their asses while some...well, some were purely disgusted, giving the duo weird looks. Not that it mattered for the Perverted Duo, as they were known throughout the school.

Makoto was taken aback, nearly chocking on his own damn saliva.

"Wh-What?"

Matsuda snickered with his eyes closed and his posture firm and confident.

"Within this world, there exist many kinds of breasts. You may call them boobs, boobies, Tatas, Bahangaloos, or even female balls—whatever you like, my dear friend! So tell us, oh humble soul, what is your type?"

Makoto's sweat got intense.

People in class were starting to question why they still listened to this dumb conversation, but something told them that they still should listen to Makoto's answer.

"I don't know my type...umm..."

"Nonsense! Within this world, there is no man without a preference for boobs, so tell me, Oh, ashen one, what's your preference?"

Makoto deadpanned and was thinking of what to be surprised by—the fact that instead of a Jojo reference, there was a Dark Souls reference? Or the fact that he needed to say what kind of boobs he preferred?

Makoto thought for a while and decided to answer.

Placing his hand on his back, he smiled innocently.

"I think that the most important part that a girl should have is her personality and how she acts. I mean, maybe big or small B... Breasts may be good, but the most important thing for me is the personality of said girl," he said, standing up and scratching the back of his head. "I think there is no need to judge women by their size because, you know what, every girl is the best and most beautiful in their own league."

A bright smile filled with light. Matsuda and Motohama placed their hands on his shoulders.

"Makoto...my man!"

"Such a pure soul! What a warrior!"

Makoto's sweat was in the form of bullets at this point as he noticed the faces of the girls around him—each had a huge blush on their face.

'What an innocent cinnamon roll!' All thought in one.

Makoto looked back towards his two new friends. Well, he supposed that they were friends now considering how teary they were right now.

He smiled. Perhaps this new life of his in Kuoh will be interesting?

A fresh breeze blew toward his face. Feeling sleepy, he was yet again laying on green grass while Matsuda and Motohama were near him.

"So Makoto!" Matsuda exclaimed. "What kind of talent do you have since you were a student at Hope's Peak?"

Makoto looked at him a bit redly.

"Well, it's not much, but I won the lottery and became an Ultimate Lucky student, though I believe that I am more unlucky than lucky, haha."

At that particular statement, Motohoma and Matsuda couldn't help but laugh.

"Considering your trip several hours ago, I could actually believe that, haha!"

"Dude, that was something else when you fell, pffff-"

Makoto scratched his left cheek.

"Huh... okay, okay, I am aware that I am unlucky, okay?" He half-smirked before beginning to laugh himself. It was an ironic truth.

As the duo of newly found friends were talking, Makoto's side of the eye caught something—actually, no, it was someone.

Up there in a somewhat elegant, or maybe old, building covered in beautiful rhinestones stood a firm and gorgeous girl with scarlet hair that resembled blood.

Makoto didn't know why, but his attention was caught by her. Not because she was charming and beautiful; no, it was something else. He felt sadness in her eyes.

She was looking out the window towards the vast blue sky until her gaze turned towards him. Their eyes locked; both stunned, they were looking at each other.

'She.../He...'

Their thoughts nearly combined, all until a strong wind blew towards their eyes as they averted their gazes.

"Something is wrong, Makoto?" Matsuda was now curious about what the little luckster was up to.

"Yeh, you seem to be spacing out." Motohama continued.

Makoto shook his head.

"Nothing just... I think I saw someone looking out from the window up there." He pointed his index finger towards the building's window.

"Ooooh! I bet you saw a scarlet-haired beauty, right?"

Makoto nodded. "Yeah, it was her, I think?"

Motohama pulled his glasses up.

"Bra size 39, Rias Gremory."

"Oh, so that's her name. Wait, how did you just tell her bra size just by glance?"

Matsuda laughed.

"That's Motohama's talent of sorts! He can tell any girl's measurements just by a glance!"

Makoto laughed nervously. These guys were surely a gremlin duo. But nonetheless, he was feeling nostalgic, like he was with his senpai of class 77, Teruteru.

In a dark room in the same building where Makoto witnessed a beauty of unknown origins, Rias Gremory was playing a small game of chess with her friend, Akeno Himejima.

"Ara Ara, I just saw a cute boy down there."Akeno said with a somewhat... sadistic tone? It was scary.

Rias nodded at her friend's statement.

"I saw him too. He is adorable."

Rias placed a pawn forward towards Akeno's bishop, managing to eat her knight.

"Oh? Did he catch your eye? That's something new."

Rias laughed at it.

"Indeed, he has somewhat... hopeful eyes?"

Now it was Akeno who was laughing.

"Yes, his eyes are full of hope. That's so cute, actually, fufu."

Rias is now ignoring how Sadistic Akeno's voice placed her pawn near Akeno's king, blocking the way. It was indeed a strategic checkmate.

"I want you to keep an eye on him... I have a feeling that this guy has tremendous potential."

Akeno was actually surprised this time. After all the time they spent together, she never heard Rias say the word tremendous potential, and Akeno knew quite well that if even Rias says these kinds of words, it's something to take on. Unnoticed to herself, her interest in Ahoge boy grew as much as Rias's, if not higher.

(Jumbo: I shall admit...I freaking love Akeno's character.)

The entire day went really well, actually. Everything seemed normal—well, everything but one thing.

"G-Guys, I doubt it's a good thing to do."

Makoto's weak squeal was ignored by Matsuda, who placed his firm grip on Makoto's hoodie.

"Makoto, my dear friend, you know what the thing is that makes a man who he is?"

Makoto took a moment to think before answering.

"His pure heart and dedication to his goals?"

"Neigh!" Motohoma exclaimed. "The thing that makes every man in this world who they are is their hornines! A blissful desire to grope ass and feel tatas! The mind-blowing idea of the thing named 'SEX!"

Makoto cringed.

"So in the thought of you, Makoto, we decided to give you a sight of heaven. You are going to peek into the girl's changing room!"

"WHAT!?" Makoto shouted before two gremlins grabbed his mouth, covering it with their hands.

"Be quiet, Naegi."

"If girls find out that we are here, well, they are all practicing Kendo, so we will surely be left with several sticks up our asses, ya know?

"Than simply don't peek on them. It is illegal, and it is bad to look at how a girl is changing without her consent." Makoto surely didn't like the idea.

"Man, you are too pure. Do you even know what porn means?"

Makoto laughed at it.

"What do corn and peeking into girls locker rooms have in common anyway?"

Matsuda and Motohama gave him a wary look.

"I said porn, not corn. Don't tell me you don't know what it is!

Makoto nodded.

This guy, Matsuda, surely was saying some strange stuff about corn.

Well, with that said, the duo and an innocent victim of his own luck were now set on peeking into girls locker rooms.

Slowly, they started to approach the locker room's side wall, where a window was located.

"Finally, we will see it—the heavenly sights."

Matsuda said before, Loud...

CRACK

It seems one of the trio stepped on a tree stick.

This didn't go unnoticed by the girls on the other side of the wall as the commotion started.

The boys gazes paled. They were screwed.

"On the battlefield, you ought to save your life first!"

Both Matsuda and Motohama started to run while poor Makoto was pushed by Matsuda's momentum, which crashed onto the window of the said changing room.

Bam.

Makoto entered the so-called heaven.

The girls were all taken by surprise to see a new transfer student crash into their locker room.

"O-Oww...my he—HEAD!?" Izuku realized where he was.

His face reddened—no, it crimsoned!

Luckster started to fidget at the sight.

"I...uh...this...huh...what...a!?"

A stuttering mess. He knew he screwed up and will now end up with several sticks up his ass.

He closed his eyes, waiting for pain to come, but it never did.

"A bold move, transfer student!"

"What a red face, haha!"

He wasn't going to end up with sticks down his ass?

"I am sorry! They forced me! It wasn't intentional, and...and..."

Suddenly, he felt something soft press against his back.

"Chill, Makoto. Your red face is so adorable, you know?"

Now the fear of the girl's rage was replaced by a new fear—an unknown fear he felt when Junko and he would stay alone. An unknown fear similar to Genocide Jack's attempts to get his V-card. It was that kind of fear.

"Now that you are here, why don't you have some fun with your classmates?"

Makoto's face was red as hell—emphasis on red and hell.

"But I believe that..."

"Don't worry, Makoto, we won't bite, okay?"

Welp, he was unlucky... on a whole another level.

The day ended with the bloody tears of Matsuda and Motohama upon realizing that instead of beating Makoto, they were...well, thankfully, the lucky bastard was hugged by practically every girl within the locker room.

Now he was heading home—to his new home, which was surprisingly big enough for one person to live there.

As he was approaching his new home, he took a moment to enjoy the fresh air.

His head was swayed by his own thoughts.

"Umm...Naegi-kun?"

Nothing.

"...egi"

Someone was calling for him.

"Makoto..."

He wasn't sure; he was focused on his thoughts.

"Makoto."

"Ah! H-Huh?"

Startled, he was cut from his dreamland and brought back to earth.

"Makoto Naegi, right?" Cute black-haired girl in a black uniform different from Kuoh's private academy said with a smile on her face.

Makoto, confused, looked towards the girl.

"You know me?" Luckster asked politely.

The girl nodded with a tilt of red on her cheeks.

"Of course! And Umm..."

Her body was cutely fidgeting as she got closer to him.

"It's complicated and all, but...umm... Makoto-kun...can you..."

This can't be...

This...

"Will you go out with me?"

WHAT THE HECK!?

Makoto's thoughts were in a tornado. What was going on? A girl? Asking him to go out? Is he sleeping? If yes, than pinch him already!

He started to shake.

"Is something wrong?" The girl asked.

Makoto was still not sure.

"I am sorry that I am acting like that. J-j-just it was so sudden and all of that, and...and...I don't even know your name!"

The said girl smiled and, with a little bow, told her name.

"Call me Yuma, and when I first saw you, I thought you were so adorable! I think it's love at first sight!"

At this point, Makoto stopped functioning. Obviously, he never had any experience with a girl.

He didn't know what to say. She was cute, but he didn't know her.

"Maybe we can at least know each other better?"

Yuma went silent for a moment until

"Then let's go on a date!"

He wanted to decline, but when he saw her innocent and cute eyes, he gave up.

"S-Sure!"

She smiled brightly.

"Okay than! Let's meet near the wookies tomorrow! Don't be late!"

And with that, the mysterious girl Yuma left, leaving Makoto to his own thoughts.

"What...the...hell!?"

He was lying on his sofa. Drained. Exhausted. And even confessed to it. What a bizarre day.

Feeling tired and completely drained, he barely managed to flip his phone. His plan of texting all his friends tonight failed successfully as he traveled to the blissful world of dreams.

Fire. Might. Fame. Glory. Hope.

Everything he knew was fading away. He was existent and nonexistent at the same time.

"When are you going to use my power, kid?"

What was that? He felt an incredible amount of power flowing in and out.

"You may think that you are unlucky; however, I do think that you are quite the opposite. You are one hell of a lucky bastard, kid."

The voice was so deep and mighty. It was a description of power.

"Here is a prophecy for you, partner: in the near future, you will end up causing a lot of chaos by your sheer power and chaos, not only in a physical way but perhaps even romantically...though it will be an interesting sight to see, partner. I will give you some advice, though. Since your soul is full of hope, you may consider it a grace. When the time comes, never hesitate. Use your will and power, and most of all, your lovely hope!"

Makoto couldn't understand those words. No, he could understand those words, but the whole context was unknown to him.

"Now that it's time for you to wake up, you are probably going to be late to the date of yours. Heh, you are damn popular for a shy kid, ain't you?"

Date? Oh right! Date!

WAKE UP!!!! FUCK!!! WAKE UP! WAKE THE FUCK UP,BITCH!

Slam!

"What the hell is with this clock!?"

Makoto woke up in quite a bizarre way because of his strange alarm clock.

"Why the hell did I buy it even?" He said it with a sweat. "But anyway, today is a big day. Haha."

He was nervous. He was surely nervous.

He woke up and did all the needed routines in the morning, like stretching himself and washing his teeth after breakfast, because he saw somewhere in a TV show that brushing teeth after breakfast is essential because this way your mouth will stay cleaner.

He went to school, met his new friends, and winced after seeing the girls in his class with sadistic glares plastered on him. They surely enjoyed teasing poor Ahoge cinnamon roll.

The school ended, and he waved his goodbyes to his friends as he sprinted towards his house. Today was a date day after all.

He didn't know what and how to dress up for dates, but he decided that his hoodie, no matter how much he loved to wear it, should stay at home this time.

He decided to wear dark green jeans with a black shirt. simple, yet it strangely fit him.

He seemed normal on the outside, but inside he was internally screaming.

'What should I do? Where should I bring her? Oh god, I am so nervous! I am sweating. I bet I stink right now!'

Well,he was freaking out a bit more than needed, but nonetheless, Yuma finally arrived but...

Right at that moment, suddenly, someone walked in towards him.

"Please contact us!"

A cute girl somewhat similar to Bat gave Makoto a strange flyer.

Makoto didn't know why, but he smiled at her.

"Thanks!"

The girl smiled and turned around, going in a different direction.

He didn't know why he received this strange paper with a pentagram on it, but he wasn't given much time to think of it as...

"Hey, Makoto!"

She was here. Her lavender-dark hair was swaying along with the wind, while her smile was pure and innocent.

"Y-Yuma-san! Nice to see you again! W-What a good weather today!"

He blurted it out immediately.

What a lame way of expressing the inability to find a good topic to start the conversation.

"Eh? What's wrong with the weather?"

Makoto's sweat dropped.

"Nothing! I mean, surely it is sunny... err, no, cloudy?"

Yuma laughed.

"It's adorable to see you stuttering so much, Makoto-kun."

"Th-Thanks...and also, you look really beautiful! This dress fits you so much that I thought I saw an angel for a moment, haha."

Yup, he used a rizz.

Yuma's cheeks were now covered in a crimson blush.

Haha, stop joking, Makoto! Me? An Angel? Maybe a fallen angel..."

For a moment, Makoto thought that he saw Yuma's expression being changed by an unknown one, yet she seemed happy, and in fact she was. The girl liked him, thinking that she was an angel.

"Anyway, where do you want to go first?"

"Hmm...how about a clothes shop?"

Makoto smiled.

"Of course, I bet you will look cute in everything you wear, Yuma-san!"

A pure smile...a pure smile that made Yuma's heart tingle

'C-Cute...' She muttered under her breath.

And so their date started. Makoto brought her to different kinds of places, starting with clothes shops, cinemas, malls, and cafes.

He was a true gentleman while the date was going on.

Now our pair were sitting in a cafe, enjoying their meals.

"You really do like this porfait, Yuma-san?"

The said girl stopped devouring her porfait and turned her head towards him.

"Yup~! I mean, is there a girl who won't love a porfait?"

Makoto smiled, seeing the girl who was enjoying her dessert.

"I am actually glad that we met." Makoto said getting Yuma's attention.

"M?"

"I mean, well, I am glad that we decided to go on a date together... I never had the courage to go on dates with girls, and now I am in one with such a dazzling and loving girl like you. Haha, I must be lucky." The last part was said in irony.

Yuma's spoon stopped. She was looking at him, all red and flustered.

'What is this feeling in my chest? It feels so weird—so weird that I like it.'

Upon closer inspection of Makoto's face, she couldn't help but smile at how adorable the said luckster was.

'He is really nervous around girls, but he is a smooth talker for sure, as if his words are like bullets.' She finds the idea of Luckster's speech turning into bullets funny.

And so they continued the date.

Yuma was now waiting for Makoto to arrive. And while she, for some reason, was looking towards her hands.

'Am I able to do it...?'

She said, her head feeling down.

As she was thinking about something, Makoto finally arrived.

"Yuma-san!"

He waved at her.

The girl smiled—a soft smile, but a pure one at that.

Looking towards him, she spotted something on his hands. A small violet bracelet was shining on his hands.

"When I saw this, I thought that it would fit you well, so, um, you don't mind getting it from me?"

The girl looked at it for a moment before

Chu.

She kissed Makoto's cheek, setting him ablaze.

"Wh-Wha!?"

"It's a little reward!"

She wore the bracelet and looked at it with amusement. It really did fit her and looked quite good. She liked it.

"It is really beautiful! How much did it cost?"

Makoto scratched the back of his head.

Yuma giggled.

"A lot, right? Why did you spend so much on me?"

Makoto blushed.

"I thought that it would be a waste to not buy a beautiful bracelet to a beautiful girl...haha."

Again, unknown to himself, he used Rizz. At this point, she was taken aback by how smoothtalker he is.

"You are really adorable. Say, Makoto, do you think I can ask you something?"

Makoto stood silent.

"Of course...? What's the matter?"

Yuma's eyes were hidden by the shadow of her hair.

"Will you die for me?" She asked with lifeless eyes.

"Eh?"

The atmosphere changed. Once a cheerful girl, she was now looking a bit more...

Makoto backed down a bit while Yuma's clothes started to shine.

"Today, I had so much fun with you, Makoto-kun!" As she said that her clothes were gone and replaced by a rather revealing attire, along with how Yuma looked, she was now more mature than young.

"What is going on...?" He asked worriedly, backing down step by step.

Yuma's glare became more sadistic.

"At first I wanted to just get rid of you, but now that I think of it, maybe make you my toy instead?"

At the moment of two seconds, two sets of large black wings rose from her back.

What was going on? Wings? Is she cosplaying? No, something felt different.

Makoto's instincts all told him to run away.

"Y-Yuma-san... it's..."

The woman extended her hand.

"As I was saying earlier, at first I thought you were just a plain and average nobody, but it seems that you are a rather adorable person."

"Th-Thanks...?"

"And because of the fun we both had today, I will promise you one thing,Makoto-kun."

As immediately as it could be, she appeared in front of him, lowering herself to the level of a short boy.

"Your death will be quick." She licked his cheeks as suddenly, with a side glance, he saw a red light for a brief moment—a red or maybe somewhat crimson light erupted from her hand.

Stab.

Pain. An incredible amount of pain gushed through his veins. His stomach was pierced, but it wasn't that painful. Yuma was right in her words.

He backed down. With his knees shaking, he fell down.

'Painful...'

Extremely painful, he was now laying on the ground.

Damn his luck. He always attracts bad fortune, and today, it seems, he attracted a bit too much of it.

Yuma was looking towards the said boy's life, which was slowly fading away.

"I won't forget you, Makoto-kun!" A fake tear formed on the side of her eyes. "I will even take care of this bracelet as a reminder of you. Sigh. If you're going to blame someone, you should blame him. She pointed upward. "It is his fault you have a sacred gear."

Sacred Gear? Seriously, Makoto could care less about something like that. His mind was focused on his slowly fading life and the shine in his eyes.

'I...I don't think I want to die yet.

Was that a pity for the world? Or maybe it was cruelty from the world? Maybe both?

"Well than... Thanks for the date, I guess...Ahahaha!" With that said, she flew upward, disappearing from sight.

Makoto had many regrets. He didn't want to die yet. His life was short—too short to consider it a life.

He looked towards his arm; it was covered in scarlet blood, a warm yet grotesque liquid dripping on his hand, and the image of a certain girl came to his mind.

'My blood is so red, just like her hair. Why am I thinking about her right now?'

Rias Gremory. His blood color reminded him of her. For some reason, he wanted her to be here. Why? God knows.

Just as he was lifelessly remembering the scarlet-haired girl, Makoto's pocket started to shine, and a flyer he received earlier flew up in the air as its pentagram was shining brightly.

'I wish it was a dream...'

WAKE UP!!!! WAKE UP!!!! WAKE U—

He shut the alarm clock off as he heavily grunted while opening his eyes.

"Why didn't I throw this clock away yet?"

His eyes were heavy and his hair was messed; funny enough, his spiky hair, which looked a bit messed, now looked even more messed.

He got up, shaking his head.

What happened yesterday? He tried to recall the memories of the past. "HAH!"

He remembered. With the sharp feeling in his stomach, he could still feel the pain of the light spear piercing his abdomen.

Panting and flustered, he used a nearby wall to lean on in order not to fall.

"Y-Yuma-san..."

With cold sweat running down his spine, he decided to take a shower.

It has been three hours since school started, and Makoto has noticed several changes within his body.

First, he was feeling exhausted whenever sunlight touched his body, making him look like he was about to run a marathon.

Second, his strength—today, while trying to open the door, he nearly broke it.

'I feel strange.' He thought with his gaze set ablaze.

"Makoto? You seem tired. Motohama said this with worriedness in his tone.

"Yeh, man, you look really exhausted. The last time I looked like that was when I tried to last 5 minutes and not c*m."

Needless to say, the last statement was ignored by Luckster.

"No, I am fine. I just saw a strange dream."

"Oh, a dream? About what?"

Makoto scratched his back.

"I am not sure myself, just—!"

His eyes met hers again.

Green collided with blue.

"Rias-sama~!"

"She looks so gorgeous!"

Omg, look at her!"

Students were nearly jumping upon seeing her, while Makoto was simply in a daze; she was clearly looking towards him.

He didn't know why she was here, but she surely was coming towards him.

And he was right.

"U-Umm..." He stuttered with his face red upon seeing the scarlet-haired beauty stand before him.

Students were also shocked to see such a distant beauty approach a bland-looking Ahoge boy.

She smiled lightly as she placed her hand on his chin.

He became as red as a tomato.

"Wh-Wh-Wha???" He stuttered again, now resembling something between reddish and tomato.

She smiled again.

'He looks so cute upon closer inspection." She thought before turning another way.

Without any further ado, she left, leaving Makoto and nearly all the people who were in the hall in an uproar of surprise.

"Who is that kid!?"

"Looks adorable!"

"Omg, look at him! He's so cute and red!"

Ignoring the uproar, Motohama and Matsuda looked at him with their eyes filled with bloodshed and cries.

"Fucking lucky bastard! As if yesterday's incident wasn't enough!"

"This world isn't fair! This world is unfair!"

Makoto himself was in a stupor. What the hell just happened?

In the end, he didn't feel too well and even declined Motohama's offer to watch some new anime he found. Luckster knew that this was probably a hentai.

However, he did notice another thing: he is now able to see anything covered in darkness as if it were a bright day.

It was strange—it felt like it was day and not night.

Clearly taken aback, he suddenly heard something.

"Waaaah! Mommy, I want chocolate!"

The kid was crying over a chocolate... Makoto wasn't surprised by this, but the thing that surprised him was the distance.

The kid was probably 40 meters away from Makoto, and he could hear him just fine.

"Agh, I am already too used to such things." He remembered one time when his friend Sakura Oogami nearly destroyed a building with a mere punch. He was bewildered at first but admired her power. "Hey, maybe I should check out that place?"

His next destination was the same park with a fountain where Yuma...well, where he got a good hole in his stomach.

Approaching the area, he started to observe it for any little clue he could gain at the very moment.

"Black feather..." He said inspecting the feather on his hand. Surely it may belong to a crow or any other bird with black-colored feathers, but Yuma had black wings with feathers similar to this. "So it really wasn't a dream..."

"What exactly?"

"Huh!?"

Makoto jumped up, looking towards the source of the sound. Luckster didn't know why, but he was sure that his body was fidgeting because of his instincts. The man before him was far from friendly.

"To think that I will stumble upon such a filthy creature like you... His hand was glowing in a light different from Yuma's. His black fedora and clock were blowing in the wind.

"Who are you?"

The man smiled.

"Your ripper, if you will!" He dashed forward, sending a spear made of light towards Luckster.

Makoto stepped back, tripping on the stone and avoiding the spear.

"You are lucky, aren't you? But let's see if your luck is enough to keep you alive!"

Makoto stood up, starting to sprint towards God knows where.

"It is futile to run, little stray devil!"

Devil? Stray? What was going on? Why was everything so complicated!? He simply wanted a normal life with normal friends.

"As I said, little stray devil, it's futile to run away!"

A white spear finally caught Makoto, piercing a hole in his chest.

'GAAAAAAH! he screamed internally. Yuma was right when she said she would give him a gentle death because this one was really painful.

Gasping for air Makoto was lying on the ground.

'Again...Again...Again...I hate this. I don't want to die."

His vision was blurry; he saw the man approach him only for...

...a dark red emergency to repel the winged man.

Makoto's vision was blurry, but he saw someone. Her hair was red like blood, and her eyes were blue like the sky. She turned towards him.

You won't die. You won't."

These were the last words he heard before his mind went completely blank.

—End of First Chapter—

Finally... Fucking Finally finished with this goddamn chapter! My hands are numb, so first things first... I shall warn you that this fic has Fem Kiba as well as Fem Vali, because why not?

I was lying on my sofa when the idea of making Makoto x DxD hit my head. I was damn right with my decision. Also, don't worry if you think this story will be dropped. Nope, it won't be dropped, mostly because I wrote the whole first season beforehand, so yeah, weekly updates with a nonstop pace. I'm not a fan of long ass afterwords, actually so guess...see ya next week?
