The next six days went by without incident. No calls from the League of Villains, no visits from her mother, and no nights out as Fear. Hikari was on edge by the time Sunday came. Her week was basically spent doing nothing, not even training as her father put her on strict rest due to an incident on Thursday night where she began sleep walking and scared the ever living daylights out of Tokoyami and Hagakure due to nonstop training she was doing with her kakuja form. It caused her mind to not shut down properly and as such, it overworked. She had apologized of course but the two of them were obviously startled and recounted that the girl sounded like a wild animal about to attack them.

Monday morning came around and Hikari quickly got up and dressed for school. She was more than ready to get back to the hero work. That is, until she stopped dead in her tracks. She had to read a letter for her father today in front of everyone. Sighing, she made a quick breakfast for herself, Kirishima, and Koda who came into the kitchen from the smell.

"Hey guys. Koda, I made you a BLT with vegan bacon. No animals. Kirishima, I made you some pancakes with plenty of bacon and sausage. Gotta keep up the protein intake. Eat quick guys. Today's Parents' Day, remember?"

Nodding, the two boys thanked her and ate their food at the table, followed quickly by Hikari who did the same. Once finished, Kirishima washed the dishes despite Hikari's protest that she would get them.

"Nonsense! In my house, you cook, you don't wash. You don't cook, you wash for the cook. It's the least you can do as thanks."

Hikari sighed, "Alright, alright. That's fine. I'm gonna grab my phone and put my shoes on."

Hikari left and soon returned with her shoes on and phone in hand. Koda and Kirishima stood next to her, ready to go and get the day started. Hikari locked the door behind them and started towards the school, both boys in tow. Soon, they reached the school and entered, making their way to class 1A. As they entered the classroom, Hikari overheard the conversation between Jiro, Tokoyami, Kaminari, Tenya, Yaoyorozu, Asui, and Mineta.

"It's far too long a story to recount at the moment, and none among us can predict where it may lead, but suffice it to say, no cradles have been pilfered by our good Tokoyami." Tenya stated.

Mineta scowled, "Who can say, though, once she grows up! If he was smart, he'd raise her to be his ideal bride, just like old Hikaru Genji did with Princess Akashi!"

Tokoyami glared at the boy, "You're the only one who would enact such a scheme."

"Would if I could! Cuz there's nothing illegal about it!"

Hikari piped in as she took her seat and began to read a book on her phone, "Not illegal, but creepy as all hell. If it were my kid, I'd kill you over it."

Jiro nodded as she agreed with Hikari, "They should make your existence illegal, Mineta."

Mineta snapped back at her, "Flatties don't get a say in this."

Jiro immediately grew angered, "Huhh?!"

Tenya tilted his head in confusion, "Flatties? What does that mean?"

Kaminari sighed, "Small boobs, man."

Jiro looked at Kaminari, "Don't actually tell him, Kaminari! And stop asking about these things, Ida!"

Tenya furrowed his brows, "How rude. Breasts are breasts, and one shouldn't get hung up on their relative size."

Hikari laughed, catching everyone's attention as she absentmindedly answered, "Hah! That's comical. You loved mine in bed."

Everyone that didn't already know immediately turned to look at Tenya, mouths agape that he of all people had slept with anyone. Turning red in embarrassment, Tenya looked at Hikari.

"H-Hikari!"

Coming to her senses, Hikari glanced up, "Oh shit! My bad! Sorry!"

Tenya turned his attention away and cleared his throat, urging everyone to forget the conversations. However, the first one continued as Yaoyorozu spoke up.

"He's quite right, Jiro."

"Hard to take that to heart, coming from you, Yaoyorozu." said Jiro as she hit one of Yaoyorozu's huge boobs.

Hikari tuned the rest of them out as they started to talk about chocolate being put on mochi. Tenya walked over and stood in front of Hikari, gaining said girl's attention. Hikari put her phone away after closing out of the book and looked up at Tenya with a smile.

"Yes?"

"I believe you caught everyone off guard. They may have placed a bet when that game happened but I don't believe everyone believed it until now."

"No kidding. I'm really sorry though. I didn't mean to blurt that out. I've been airheaded and distracted lately because of dad keeping me from training and keeping me on rest. It drove me crazy."

"I accept your apology. Also, I cannot lie. You did have a point. I did indeed…enjoy the times we shared."

Hikari cracked a smirk, "I did too. Glad you still think so. I think the bell is about to ring. We can chat later."

Nodding, Tenya smiled and took his seat as the bell rang, in turn watching as everyone else took their seats. However, Aizawa never showed. Some of the students discussed it in worry while Hikari shot her father a quick text. He ignored it, this much she knew because it said that he read it but didn't respond. On edge, Hikari remembered the hostage situations the teachers were talking about the week prior. She had a sneaking suspicion that something was up. Soon enough, she got a text from her father along with everyone else in class.

'Ride bus to mock cityscape. Now.'

Confused, everyone gathered around and went towards where the U.A. buses were. Upon boarding the bus that awaited them, Hikari sighed, knowing this was most likely an exercise involving their parents. Well…most likely excluding hers considering the situation. Soon, the students arrived at the cityscape and exited the bus. Tenya suggested they move further in to find her father but Shoji stopped them as he smelled gasoline. Hikari nodded, for she smelt the overwhelming smell as well. Suddenly, the group of teens heard screams. All at once, they took off running to the screams and the smell of gasoline grew even stronger the closer to the screams they got. They soon arrived at a street that was lined with buildings. There was one area that had a pit smashed around it about 20 meters in diameter. In the center, a cubed cage with their parents inside, excluding Aizawa of course. Hikari ignored the screams of the parents to their children, knowing it was all a ruse but she didn't tell the others. Her father had a purpose in all of this after all. Reaching the edge of the pit, the students soon realized that the pit itself was the source of the gasoline smell. Hikari looked up towards the cage as a voice answered them when they questioned where Aizawa was.

"Aizawa is down for a nap. A nice dirt nap."

As her classmates asked if her father was dead, Hikari narrowed her eyes at the would-be villain and tilted her head to the side. What was this guy playing at?

"Calm yourselves. You are free to think this is a joke, but be aware that there are hostages in play."

As he said this, her classmates pieced together that the man was in the cage with their parents. Hikari looked down at the masked man, answering the burning question she had.

"Is that so? Then where's my dads body?"

The figure laughed, "Just right here in the cage! See for yourself! And if he isn't dead yet, he will be soon!"

He moved some hostages to the side to expose her father who lay on the bottom of the cage, a pool of blood underneath him as his hair obscured his face entirely. Judging from the smell of the blood, it was real. Hikari felt her stomach drop despite her senses telling her it was an obvious trap. Pushing back her tears of fear, Hikari cracked one of her fingers and activated her kakugan, using it to better scan for weak points around the man. Tenya, seeing the situation, immediately pulled out his phone to call the authorities when the villain spoke.

"I should mention now that contacting your school or the authorities is not permitted. Ah, and I'm afraid that little Denki's Quirk cannot help you either."

Kaminari grimaced, "What the hell, man…?"

"Fleeing or seeking outside help is also forbidden. Attempt to run, and it will be your parent who pays the price."

Just then, a well-built man shook the bars, "Dangit! Can't do a thing about these solid bars!"

Uraraka stepped forward, "D-Dad!"

"H-Help us, Momo!"

"You mustn't panic, Mother… Keep calm…"

A round-faced man croaked up at them, "Croak, Croak."

Asui spoke softly, "That croak means danger… Ribbit…"

Izuku, looking helpless, asked a question on most of their minds, "Mom…Why… Why's this happening…?"

"I flunked out of U.A. High. Gaining entry in the hopes of becoming a hero was all I ever had. That an excellent specimen such as myself failed is proof enough that this world is cruel and misaligned. Imagine that. Me, a dropout? However, if left to your own devices, only the brightest of futures await you children. That is why I've—"

Katsuki interrupted him, "So you put on that stupid black cape just to throw a little tantrum, you dumbass?"

Izuku and Hikari both snapped at him, "Kacchan/Katsuki!"

Ignoring them, he continued, "I'm already bored. Let's blow this guy to kingdom come!"

Katsuki headed straight towards the platform until the cloaked man spoke again, pulling Mitsuki Bakugo close to him, "Slow down. Or have you already forgotten about the hostages?"

Katsuki clicked his tongue and skidded to a halt. Hikari and Izuku watched panic on the blond's face, those two knowing him well enough to know it's true look. Katsuki yelled back at his mother.

"Great job getting yourself caught, hag!"

Hikari watched Mitsuki go from fear to enraged, "I've told you a million times not to call me 'hag,' you little punk!"

Kirishima spoke from his dumbstruck state, "Wow. I, uh, see the family resemblance."

Katsuki snapped at him, "That s'posed to be a compliment, broomhead?"

Hikari watched Mrs. Midoriya as she spoke to Mrs. Bakugo, "Mrs. Bakugo, please, we're hostages, remember…?"

"Oh, whoops! True enough!"

"Pipe down," Said the cloaked man as he released her and shoved her aside.

Tenya gawked at Mitsuki, "That woman has nerves of steel…"

Izuku nodded, "Yeah, she's one tough lady, same as ever…"

Hikari glanced at Izuku, seeing that her outburst had calmed him down enough to think. She shuffled closer to him and spoke softly.

"Ask what he wants…We need to know that first before we think of anything."

Nodding slowly, Izuku spoke loud and clear, "What are you after, here?"

"What am I after? One thing only—the utter destruction of you golden children and your bright futures. And slaughtering your parents while you watch is just the way to do it."

Hikari glared and grumbled to herself, "I fucking knew it. Those bastards stole my ideas from that day."

Shoto glanced at her, having heard her, "Your ideas? What are you talking about?"

"I'll explain later. Focus on the hostages."

Ojiro, with a quivering tone, addressed the cloaked villain, "All this, just to get to us?"

Kirishima yelled with rage, "You got a beef with us? Then bring it! But leave our folks outta this!"

"Oh, but it isn't your bodies I aim to destroy. No. It will be that much more painful when your parents suffer and you would-be heroes have nobody but yourselves to blame."

Yaoyorozu screamed at him, "If you truly walked the path of the hero once, then stop this foolishness!"

Mina nodded, "Exactly! And you're headed for the slammer when all's said and done!"

"Oh, I have no intention of escaping. After all, I have nothing left to lose. So for my final act, I might as well savor your descent into agony as you watch your parents perish. Now, who to start with…?"

The villain started to reach for hostages when Uraraka shouted, "Quit it!"

Inspired by her shout, Izuku started to mumble to him, catching the ear of both Hikari and Todoroki as he thought aloud. Hikari smirked slightly, knowing that he'd start thinking of a way to help at some point.

"Getting our parents outta there means doing something about the villain, first. But dealing with him means we need a way to shield the hostages… But it's not like we can free them without him noticing… The cage is too exposed. No blind angles… Plus, it's about ten meters to the platform, across the pit. He's sure to spot us making a move… Darn. I've got nothing."

Shoto addressed him, "Keep it down, Midoriya. He'll hear."

Izuku nodded sheepishly, "Ah, sorry. Couldn't help it…"

"No ideas then, Midoriya?"

"No, not yet…"

"Very well… Everyone, we need to distract this villain somehow."

Kirishima nodded, "Gotcha. We'll get the job done."

Kaminari agreed, "And you think up a plan. Quick."

Hikari watched Aoyama glance at Koda and Sato to arrange a plan when she caught their attention.

"Hey, I think I can better distract him with Tenya. Katsuki, ignore our conversation and be ready to act when Izuku gets his plan going."

Katsuki clicked his tongue, "Fine."

Hikari looked at Tenya and spoke loudly, "Damn it Tenya, why do you keep getting in the way?! My dad could be dying and you're keeping me up here! I'm not yours to protect!"

Catching on, Tenya yelled back, "It doesn't matter! I can still care for you and making sure you don't jeopardize the hostages with your recklessness!"

Hikari overheard Izuku's plan with Hagakure and a stun gun, hearing their plan was a sneak attack on the cloaked figure. Sensing she needed to step it up a bit, Hikari snapped back.

"What's reckless is how you keep looking at me every chance you get even though I'm with someone else!"

Tenya felt a small pang in his chest but knew she was acting, seeing as she had no malice behind them. However, to the others who never really saw her worked up, couldn't tell that. Tenya decided to push further.

"What's it matter?! He's not good for you! He's a bully and a stubborn man who does nothing but think about himself!"

Katsuki's eye twitched in annoyance but knew if he wanted to get a chance at kicking this villain's ass, he'd better stay silent. However, despite the villain having been distracted enough for Hagakure to be right behind him with a stun gun, he spun around and kicked the stun gun into the pit.

"It seems an invisible pest has wormed its way over here!"

Shaking with rage, the villain threw open the cage door, stepped out of it, and opened a lighter in his hand.

"I had hoped to serve up individual doses of suffering, but no matter. We will all dine in hell together."

"Don't do it!"

The villain then threw the lighter into the pit, causing it to turn into a raging inferno.

"No!"

The heat singed the boy's cheeks from the blast of heat as he saw their parents in peril but enduring it. Izuku and his mother reached for one another but the wind fanned the flames, causing them to erase Izuku's view of her. As Izuku fell to his knees in despair, Katsuki kicked his back to push him the rest of the way.

"You really that stupid? This is the perfect chance, dumbass!"

"Kacchan?"

"Hey Round Face! Get me floating!"

Doing as told, Uraraka lightened the blond who rocketed forward towards the cage. Shoto took the chance and sent an ice wall that Katsuki dodged thanks to lightning reflexes.

"Watch it, you half 'n' half bastard!"

The ice struck the villain's feet and stuck him to the ground. Katsuki then straddled the villain and threatened him with sparks in both hands.

"You like wearing black? Try black and blue!"

Tenya glanced at the others, "Let us join him!"

Izuku, Tenya, and Hikari jumped forward towards the platform, followed closely by Todoroki and Tokoyami. After checking on his mother, Izuku went over to Katsuki who was keeping the villain in check with small explosions. Hikari took the time to check her father's pulse and breathing, seeing that he was indeed very much alive. She touched a finger to the blood under him and tasted it. A smirk crossed her lips, and she bent down to his ear, whispering.

"I can tell you're perfectly fine. This is a good hostage situation you've created with All Might as the villain in small form. Next time, make sure the blood type of the blood you use is the same as yours. It tastes different. And no, I didn't tell anyone, I promise."

Hikari raised up after picking up her father with her kagune, playing the role she was supposed to. She watched the exchange between Izuku and Katsuki.

"Kacchan!"

"This shit-eating punk's not so tough. Got him handled, all on my own."

Mitsuki snapped at him, "Katsuki, don't say 'shit'!"

"Stuff it, you shitty hag!"

Izuku and Hikari glanced at the villain's hand, "Wait, that's…"

The villain used his thumb to click the switch, causing an explosion beneath them. The apple-core-like structure holding up the cage began to sway. Izuku called out in shock.

"What…?!"

Katsuki looked down at the villain, "What'd you do, dammit?"

"As I said, the gates of hell await us all."

The bomb detonator rolled out of his open hand and Tenya swayed off-balance from the shifting platform.

"The fiend planted explosives in advance…? Whoa!"

At that moment, Ojiro called over to them, "Hey! The base is crumbling! You guys gotta get back here quick!"

Yaoyorozu and Uraraka attempted to put out the flames with fire extinguishers made by Yaoyorozu to no avail. The flames refused to lessen. Uraraka cried out.

"Dangit! We'll never kill these flames in time…"

Yaoyorozu looked over, "Rather than extinguish the inferno, perhaps a more rational solution… Ah, I've got it!"

Seeing the platform about to collapse, Shoto shot forward his ice and kept it steady for the time being. However, due to the inferno, he knew it wouldn't last long. On the platform, Tenya addressed the parents.

"Ladies first! Please grab ahold of me!"

The parents huddled around him and Inko looked ready to cry for her son. Izuku gave her a wavering smile.

"It'll be all right. I'm here to save you."

"Oh, Izuku…"

Shoto called to him, "Damn… Whatever you do, do it soon!"

Izuku watched how the ice slipped, "Ice bridge… Slipping… Sliding…? That's it… A slide!"

Hikari snapped to him, "Like the evacuation chute!"

Shoto caught on, "Right! Just need a way to slide everyone across my ice bridge!"

Tenya sighed, "I dunno if there's enough time for Yaoyorozu to create a tarp that big, though."

"It's nearly ready, actually!"

Right then, a huge tarp ripped from her back, tearing her clothes as she made it. She glanced at Sero and Uraraka.

"I've been working on this fireproof sheet since a few moments ago. Uraraka, Sero, it's your turn!"

Uraraka nodded, "Okay!"

Sero smiled, "Here we go!"

Uraraka quickly touched the tarp and Sero stuck his tape to it, throwing it across the way with ease. Tokoyami quickly ordered Dark Shadow.

"Grab it, Dark Shadow!"

"Aye, Aye!"

Dark Shadow quickly grabbed the edges of the tarp and handed it to Izuku. He then went to work and spread the tarp out.

"Thanks! Should've known you'd be on top of things, Yaoyorozu! Everyone, please climb aboard! You here with us, Hagakure?"

"Sure am!"

"Ida, use your Engine to pull from the front, while the rest of us push from behind. And you keep blasting your ice until the last second, Todoroki. Hikari, can you use your full kakuja form to help with pushing?"

Hikari nodded and set her father down for a moment. She closed her eyes and concentrated until they suddenly opened, her body growing kakuja armor and a plague mask beak overtaking her face with blue flames coming out as she breathed. Mitsuki Bakugo gasped.

"Dear God she's massive!"

Hikari picked her father back up and prepared herself to push everyone forward. Tokoyami looked at the cloaked villain.

"What about the villain? We can't just leave him here."

Katsuki threatened him, "Any funny business, and you go boom, get it?"

"Here I go, Midoriya!"

Tenya grabbed the front corners of the tarp with his arms stretched behind him, taking the lead as the platform heaved. Izuku encouraged him.

"Go, go!"

"No holding back… Torque Over, Reciproburst!"

Tenya's engines smoked before turning a bright blue. He sped forward with all of his might.

"Urgh!"

Hikari, Izuku, Katsuki, and Tokoyami pushed with his combustion, eager to match it. Dark Shadow helped by lifting up the rear corners. At the last second, Shoto leapt on as the group flew across the ice bridge as if it were a runaway freight train. Before the parents even had a chance to scream, Tenya's feet hit the edge of the pit. Uraraka went to celebrate.

"All righ—whoa!"

At that moment, the tower collapsed into the fire and the rear-guard members were left dangling without a foothold. Hikari quickly used her kagune to reach above and grab hold while she became the weight they used to not fall. She enhanced her muscle to keep the tight hold of her father and those ahead of her. Izuku's letter fluttered from his pocket into the flames, burning up instantly. Tenya braced himself as he felt the tarp may give way behind him at any moment. Uraraka and the others immediately pulled him.

"One, two, three!"

Together they yanked the tarp up, but in the process, Inko Midoriya's hands slipped, and she was airborne.

"Ahhh!"

"Mom, no!"

In a flash, the black cloaked villain had Inko in one arm with the other arm gripping the edge. Only Izuku, Inko, and Hikari knew what happened as everyone was back on solid ground in seconds. Inko quickly made her way over to Izuku.

"She's safe…"

"Are you okay, Izuku…?"

"Yeah. Just glad you are too, Mom…"

Izuku then remembered the villain after his mother hugged him. He looked around.

"Where'd he go…?"

The man in black stood away from everyone and spoke, "Congratulations. The exercise is over."

Uraraka looked puzzled, "Huh? What's that mean…?"

Kirishima shouted, "Somebody grab him. We gotta contact the school!"

Tenya glanced at Aizawa, "And get Aizawa Sensei some medical attention!"

Aizawa raised up as Hikari sat him down, "Who, me? I'm perfectly fine."

Multiple students then had the same expression, "Huh?"

Hikari then decided to release her transformation. She placed her hand on her knees and breathed heavily at a fast pace, sweat pouring from her body and dripping from her chin to the pavement below her.

"That…sucked…so much…"

She fell to a sitting position, still trying to catch her breath. She glanced over at her father.

"You suck…for this shit….I knew….this whole time that…it was fake…I…I hope I played along good enough…to your liking…"

Aizawa stood and glanced at Hikari and the parents, "Excellent work, everyone. Quite the convincing performance. You included Hikari."

Uraraka's father smiled, "You're making me blush! It's all thanks to your coaching, Sensei!"

Yaoyorozu's mother sighed, "That was nerve-racking, I daresay."

Asui's father looked at Mitsuki, "Didn't know what to think when you almost broke character, Mrs. Bakugo. Croak."

She smiled, "So sorry! Couldn't help it…"

At everyone's dumbfounded looks, Aizawa sighed, "Still don't get it? Let me spell it out: this was all a setup."

"Huh?! Th-the villain, too…?" exclaimed the class.

"Yes… We hired an actor from a theater troupe."

The cloaked man nodded after his confusion, "A what, now…? Oh, indeed. Apologies for menacing you kids the way I did!"

Katsuki clicked his tongue while Kirishima asked a confused, "What the heck?"

"No wonder the mook went down so easy. Just some backup player, huh."

Yaoyorozu addressed Aizawa, "Now just a minute! Wasn't this a bit much…? One wrong move, and somebody could have gotten terribly hurt, or worse!"

Aizawa shook his head, "We were prepared for the worst, so no, it wasn't a 'bit much.' Besides, pros are no strangers to danger, so an exercise with lower stakes wouldn't do you much good."

"I suppose that's true…"

"Were you scared? Scared for your mother?"

"Yes. Quite."

"Words alone can't express your love for your families. When faced with losing them, however… This provided that valuable experience. A proper rescue demands strength, skill, knowledge, and decisiveness, but emotion can easily cloud judgment. Anyone hoping to become a hero can't very well be flustered by a family member in danger. This exercise, under the guise of 'Parents' Day,' was meant to teach you all just that."

Yaoyorozu nodded with Izuku, "Yes, Sensei."

"One more thing. It's not just about keeping a level head. The people you aim to save—their lives are more than just their own, as they too have families waiting for them to come home. Take that to heart."

Everyone nodded this time, "Yes, Sensei."

"Now, though every hostage was rescued, this could've gone better."

"Huh?"

"You struggled far too much against this single opponent. Wasted too much time. And the stun gun? Hardly the most rational option. Choosing to distract the villain by talking to him was an unrefined approach, and it meant putting your eggs in one basket. I've got plenty more to say, but for now… You all passed. By a slim margin. I want one page on what you've learned from this, due tomorrow."

Tenya raised his hand, "And what of our letters of appreciation…? Another of your 'rational deceptions' to disguise the true intent of this exercise, Sensei?"

"Well, didn't writing that letter get you thinking about your family more than usual?"

"Indeed, it did!"

As the bell rang, Aizawa addressed the parents, "We're done for today. Parents—thank you all for your assistance."

As the parents returned his bow, Katsuki looked at Hikari, "Hey! How did you know what was going on and why didn't you say anything?!"

"I forgot that I was in the teachers' lounge when they were discussing this event. By the time I realized and then confirmed it, I told dad I knew when I whispered in his ear because I tasted the blood beneath him. It tasted different than his so it's a different blood type. We were on the platform, so I didn't have the time, nor did I think it was necessary to ruin their lesson. "

Satisfied with her answer, he turned to his mother who was annoying him as usual. She started a screaming match with him.

"Why's your mouth so goddamned foul, boy?"

"Learned from the best, hag!"

"I got it from you, though!"

Hikari looked up at her father who stood next to her. He looked down and raised a curious eyebrow at the sweat that had finally slowed down.

"You alright?"

Hikari groaned and laid flat on her back on the asphalt, "Yeah. I haven't gone full kakuja since the battle. I knew I could but…I didn't realize how much it drains my stamina. I'm exhausted and starving and sticky with sweat…."

"I can see that. I think it's time we start training in that new form daily. If you want to use it, that is."

Hikari raised a shaky thumbs up, "Okay….Can I have a piggy back?"

Shouta cracked a small smile, "Sure, but only because it's 'Parents Day' and you did a great job at accessing me and saving me, regardless of if you knew or not."

Hikari smiled and raised up, getting herself to stand shakily as her father bent down. She used her remaining strength and jumped onto his back, letting him grab her legs for support. Hikari rested her chin on his shoulder with her arms wrapped loosely around his neck. She looked at him through half lidded eyes.

"Thanks daddy…I love you."

Shouta's smile widened just a bit as she dozed off, "I love you too, kiddo."

Shouta then turned to lock eyes with Mitsuki and the other parents who smiled at them, enjoying the love that his daughter had for him and him for her. As everyone went back to their conversations, Aizawa walked over to Fuyumi and Shoto as they were talking.

"We're lucky it was me here at Parents' Day… Mom might've fainted right off the bat, having to play a hostage."

"Yeah. Probably."

"Excuse me, miss. Here at U.A., most of our Basic Hero Training classes are recorded, and this one was no exception. If you want, I could give your brother a copy of the footage tomorrow."

"Could you, really?"

Aizawa nodded carefully, "Mhm. There's no harm in having the rest of your family view it."

"Thank you so much."

Fuyumi bowed as Aizawa walked away with a small smile on his lips. His daughter brought up a point that night about how it could've been for Shoto's mother to see. Agreeing with her, he went the best route that he could to make it happen. Aizawa carried Hikari to the buses and rode with everyone back to the school, making sure he didn't sit down so as to not disturb her sleep. Once back, he said farewell to everyone and made his way to the teachers' lounge. Midnight, Mic, Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Thirteen all looked up as the tired father walked in, his mini version asleep on his back. Small awws echoed around him as he rolled his eyes and transitioned her to the couch, grabbing a blanket from the corner and covering her up so she could sleep better. After tucking her in a bit, Aizawa took his seat at his respective desk with a pen in hand, ready to grade some papers from the week prior. That is, until a concerned Midnight asked him what was on all of their minds.

"Is she okay? We know you had that hostage thing with the parents. Did everything go well?"

"It did. She figured it out almost immediately and went along with it. Midoriya had her use her full kakuja transformation to help save the parents and it took more out of her than she expected. I'm going to stop her by the hospital on our way home for a donation. We have to train that form every day from now on to get her used to it."

Satisfied with that answer, Midnight went back to her grading along with the others. It wasn't long before Aizawa had finished with his grading, having been able to keep focus as the teachers' lounge was quiet for once, no one wanting to accidentally wake Hikari. Right as Aizawa stood and walked over to Hikari, said girl opened her tired eyes and rubbed them.

"Hikari, we're stopping by the hospital for a donation before we head home. You need it, alright?"

Nodding, Hikari yawned and stood up, stretching her tired limbs. A sharp pain then shot through her arm, and she hissed at the pain. As soon as she felt it, it stopped. It took her a moment before she realized that it was the same arm that One For All has supposedly been used in. Sighing, Hikari ignored it and followed her father as he led the way out of the teachers' lounge. True to his word, they stopped by the hospital on the way home and she was able to eat one of their donated bodies. Refreshed, Hikari met him just outside of the hospital and they walked home in silence, enjoying the night air around them. Once home, the duo entered the home and fed their cats before Shouta broke the silence.

"How are you, Hikari? Mentally I mean."

Hikari thought for a moment before answering him honestly, "Stressed out and scared about the future. I've had some weird quirk developments that I'm working through and some weird situations that All Might is helping with. Once I have all of the facts, I promise to loop you in but….Shigaraki is planning an attack on U.A. again. For obvious reasons, I wasn't told details but…just know that it's coming and the villains he has working with him now is scary…They all know who I am because of mom but….it's nerve wracking when you're surrounded by dangerous people but it's worse when you want to save them….Some of them I met….they were led astray and failed by that damn commission and the hero society….I want to do more for them dad…I want a change to be made…."

Shouta took in her words and sighed softly, "I know…I understand now more than I used to…If you ever need any help Hikari, please don't hesitate to ask….I don't want you going at this alone…I know Anastasia is there too but the more help you get on all sides the better…"

"I know dad…That's why I'm telling you about this…I…I really want to tell you the issues I've had that are quirk related but I can't yet…I need someone else on board before I even attempt to broach the subject….If…If I get that, I promise I'll tell you the first chance I get…As for the villains, I want to save some of them dad…So thank you for your support…It means a lot…I think I'm gonna head to bed early before Aoyama and Ojiro arrive…I love you."

A small smile made its way onto his lips, "I love you too. Sleep well."

"I'll try."

With that, Hikari left the living room and made her way to her bedroom where she dressed in her pajamas and laid down, Saki and Koneko joining her. As they got comfortable, Hikari drifted into an uneasy sleep. Meanwhile, about an hour later, Aoyama and Ojiro arrived at the Aizawa household. Shouta showed them to the guest room and let them set up for bed before going to bed himself.
