Days Later
Brooke and Lucas went on about their daily routine. Their jobs. Taking care of Larry. It seemed as if Julian had simply gone away. Which made Brooke alot less tense and on edge.
"MaMa. Play me." Larry insisted. Once she got home.
Brooke smiled. "Let's build a pillow fort." She replied.
Scooping him into her arms as they made their way into the living room.
By the time they were done building and playing for some time.
Larry ended up falling asleep. Brooke took him out of the fort
And put him upstairs to bed. Between hanging out at the cafe and being adored and fed there.
Along with this added playtime at home. It wasn't a surprise to Brooke that he was worn out.
When she got back downstairs after tucking him in.
She was happily surprised to see dinner in the kitchen and wine in a glass by her plate.
"I thought some comfort food was a must."
"Smells great. I'm sure it's delicious." "You like to make sure i don't miss meals and i appreciate that." Brooke said.
"I just want to make sure you're taken care of. I think you don't realize how much you do for me and Larry here."
"You've become very important to me." Lucas said.
