He slipped the ring on her finger. Pulled her into his arms.
And the two shared a passion filled kiss.
"We should unpack. Have dinner. And spend time together as much as you want." Lucas said. When they broke apart.
"I love you. This is all i've ever wanted. I know it hasn't been easy or simple. But all that matters is the future we're going to build together. The three of us." Brooke said. Leaning over to kiss him.
As she mentioned calling Haley to check in on Larry. While grabbing her luggage.
"I'll be right up there. I love you too." Lucas replied.
When he heard the echo of the bedroom door close upstairs.
Lucas dropped off his luggage and got out his laptop.
Lucas knew now. His inscription needed to be for only Peyton to read. Which is why once he got home he would print it out and leave it for her go. In the only way he knew.

"Is that why you proposed.?" Brooke asked.
