A world with quirks means its people are going to be rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every MHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Making the acquaintance of All For One, a like-minded person, is a boon to Doctor Garaki's career.

300. Kyudai Garaki (Daruma Ujiko)

A.N. — It's drabble No. 300, and this is one of the more recognizable characters from the list of those without a birthday. Ostensibly, he's a doctor. But in most sane people's estimation, he's a depraved villain. Fitting, for a guy who has a lot of aliases. All I know is he gave me a chance to explore that lawless period of chaos after quirks first developed.

300. Dr. Kyudai Garaki/Daruma Ujiko/Dr. Tsubasa

Doctor Garaki had no qualms skirting the edges of what was considered appropriate, or pushing the boundaries of acceptable studies. The public just wasn't ready to acknowledge the truth of his research. But, to Garaki, quirk singularity was an inevitability, so it was better to align with a force that could surpass it.

He didn't care what side of the law his benefactor favored; Garaki followed the orders of whoever gave him the opportunity to advance scientific knowledge further. Given that both he and All For One had life-extending quirks, this latest partnership appeared to be very fruitful, indeed.
