After losing the World Tournament to Goku and realizing he needed to get stronger if he wanted to rule the world and keep it, Piccolo takes a page from King Piccolo and makes his own training partner to help him get stronger and maybe help him rule the world. But with the story of DBZ things get more interesting for the new parent.
