Hermione cornered Kingsley. "We need to come up with some sort of plan," she said firmly.
"We'll yes I kn-" he started.
"No I don't think you do," she said, crossing her arms. "This is getting unreasonable. Theo and Blaise almost died. Reggie and Draco are constantly battling others, he's become unhinged!"
"Hermione we're tryi-" he tried again.
"Let's see the plan. I'm tired of these skirmishes. What do we have left to do?" she stomped her foot. "I'm due to give birth in a few months and will be almost completely out of commission for quite a bit. We need a plan."
Kingsley's shoulders sank. "I know, Hermione, we're trying. We just don't have an in."
"Let me see what you've got," she said, gesturing towards the Command Center.
Kingsley led the way and the pair of them settled into two of the chairs. "So we have our loose plan for Draco to take out Nagini with the poison, but we still have to contend with the rest of His army. Thanks to all of your work, we know that we have some allies who will come if they see the tide turning in our favour, but we still haven't heard back from the majority of the Magical World. We're getting stronger, but we just don't have the numbers yet, Hermione."
Hermione huffed. The odds were very against them. Without Harry's direct connection to Voldemort, they didn't have a direct line to the Dark Lord, but it also kept their secrets a lot safer. They'd been getting rid of higher level Death Eaters, and for the most part were successful. Thinning out the higher ranks was crucial to their plan. Hermione stared at the planning board for a long time, thinking.
"It's time for dinner, love," Theo said, snapping her from her thoughts. She noticed that Kingsley had left and the sun had gone down. She stood and walked towards her husband, to join the rest of their family for their typical meal.
