Mirellia and her Enclave allies are in her throne room along with Motoyasu, going over plans for while Naofumi deals with the Hoover Dam. Colonel Bragg is looking at the map of neighboring kingdoms. "Siltvelt would be an easy ally to make."
"They could. They worship the Shield Hero so that is an advantage but our relations are not good. Our countries have been fighting for as long as I can remember. But we will try." Mirellia wants to believe that this is a chance at peace with the Demi-Human kingdom.
"Don't worry Queen Mirellia, I'm here if they try anything. The hero is here while the general is out." Motoyasu points to himself with both queen and colonel looking at him then eachother.
"I leave the negotiations in your hands." Mirellia said while ignoring the Spear Hero's boasting. Though he is not under her daughter's control anymore, he can insufferable at times. They still need him for the Waves and he is stronger since joining their side
Bragg nods and is about to leave when suddenly the ground begins to shake. They can hear screaming outside the throne room. Bragg waves his hand and the Enclave soldiers get next to the gate and aim their weapons at whatever is on the other side.
Queen Mirellia stands up and walks beside Colonel Bragg. "Ma'am, you should evacuate."
"I am not some little girl that needs protecting. Let me show you why I am Queen of Melromarc. Melty, stay in the throne." Mirellia takes out her fan while Bragg and Melty nods. He enters the Enclave Power Armor and picks up a laser gatling gun. Motoyasu prepares his spear and is ready to defend Princess Melty.
The door breaks opens and slams into one of the soldiers. Monsters not only from this world but also from the Wasteland enter the throne room. Goblins, skeleton knights, geckos and nightkin come out and roar at the Enclave and knights. They are about to shoot at them until they hear laughter and footsteps. The monsters step away and a redhead woman enters with a manically look. Mirellia is shocked at the intruder and the monsters she is controlling.
"Malty?"
"Heheh… Good to see you, Mama. Look at this family reunion. It almost warms my heart." Malty said with a crazed look.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Colonel Bragg can't believe she is still walking. "The General shot her legs!"
"Myne…" Motoyasu looks at Malty and smiles.
"Come on Spear Hero. You are my knight, remember?" The former princess wants her servant back and he simply readies his spear.
"You are no princess. Just a pig that needs to be put down." Motoyasu declares as he throws his spear at Malty, who summons an identical spear and hits it. This sends it flying in the air and he catches it.
"Another spear… So the Church did create Replica Hero weapons." Mirellia had her agents spy on the Church and heard rumors of creating fakes that have the same power as the originals. Seeing her daughter holding them and the monsters in her control means that she has completely lost it. Her theory is confirm once Malty speaks.
"This power! These Waves are now mine to control! I don't need this kingdom, I can have everything!" Malty can destroy everything. She will kill everyone and rule all kingdoms. She summons the sword, spear, and bow and fires over a hundred arrows. Many of them strike down knights and soldiers. Mirellia uses wind magic to take out the arrows while Bragg fires at the charging monsters. Fire Geckos spit out fire and it begins to burn the castle as the Enclave act quickly and kill them before the castle is burn to the ground. Melty uses her water magic to take out flames as best she can. One of skeleton knights go after Melty but is cut in half by Motoyasu, who defends her and takes out other monsters that get near her.
An Enclave soldier is about to use a power fist at Malty when she is cut through a Nightkin's giant sword. This allows Malty to use her sword and cuts her head off. Colonel Bragg disintegrates goblins and then takes out a rocket launcher. "Fire in the hole!"
Bragg fires a rocket and it appears to hit Malty and the surrounding monsters. Motoyasu looks at the smoke and believes the crazed princess was destroyed so he cheers. "We did it!"
"She's not dead damnit." Bragg shouts at Motoyasu and the smoke dissipates to show an unharmed Malty, who is holding a shield.
"She has a Replica Shield!" Bragg throws his rocket launcher away and picks up the laser gatling to aim at her.
"I don't need to kill you, just my servants!" Malty teleports away, leaving the monsters to attack the Enclave and the queen. A Nightkin swings at Mirellia when it is turn to ice. Queen Mirellia and the others look up as they notice shadows block the windows.
"It's not nighttime. What is going on?" Motoyasu wonders.
Outside, a giant ghost ship is hovering over the castle. Malty appears on it and looks for the Soul Eater to unleash it. She only finds the corpse and a woman in a kimono. She holds fans and looks at the former princess. "You are the one controlling this boss."
"So what if I am?" Malty arrogantly believes that this woman is nothing and easy to kill. The woman simply waves her fan and she is sent flying. Luckily her Replica Shield protects her from the strike. She glares at this woman, who simply looks at her like a fly.
"My name is Glass. The heroes of this world must fall and I will be the one to slay them." Glass isn't gloating. She is simply speaking as if she is talking about the weather.
"Wait! Wait! I want to end the heroes as well. I can give you information about them!" Malty reacts quickly and bribes this mysterious woman that can end her. Glass raises an eyebrow while the former princess hides her smile full of malice.
"AAHH!" Naofumi drops to the ground, clutching his right arm in pain. It is practically mangled with claw marks thanks to Bakemono's Deathclaw form. The shapeshifter chuckles due to being able to hit Naofumi before the General's gun went off. However, he does hold his eye socket because a bullet hit his eye. The Deathclaw picks Naofumi up and slams him to a wall.
"Are you scared little general?" Bakemono mocks Naofumi, who takes out a laser gun with his unharmed arm but the unknown soldier grabs his and begins crushing his hand. This makes him yell in pain and drops his gun. "Nice try. You can die knowing your Enclave will join you in death."
"I am not done! The Enclave will live on without me but not you!" Naofumi doesn't care that he may die but he wants to take Bakemono with him. He is holding a grenade from his mangled arm and shoves it through Bakemono's mouth. The shapeshifter widens his eyes once he realizes the trick as Naofumi pulls the clip.
'Damnit! He knew I wouldn't focus on his mangled arm so he distracted me with his left arm! I leave the mission to you my comrades.'
*CLICK*
Naofumi can't help but think of his brother: A soldier that died when the Enclave took over Project Purity. The Lone Wanderer Martha killed him while she was escaping and yet, he doesn't hate her but the Colonel that order him to go after her. Naofumi thinks of his brother as the explosion goes off.
'Brother, am I making the Enclave proud? Are you and our parents looking down with a smile?'
The Enclave soldiers are behind the NCR Troopers and Rangers as they take out Legionaries. They nod to eachother and are about to aim at them when the radio comes alive.
"All units. Do not follow the previous order! Assist the NCR and defeat the Legion!" Daisy Whitman orders for all soldiers to hear. They walk with the NCR Troopers and take down Legionaries together.
A vertibird flies above Legate Lanius' wartent and Duke jumps off the vertibird.
Duke Dornan blocks a strike from Legate Lanius with her own sword. "Your corpse shall be hung on the remains of New Vegas, woman."
"Try it beast!" Duke ducks a slash and tries to stab the Legate but he grabs the blade and headbutts her and makes her stagger. Sgt Dornan gets her bearings and dodges a punch. She takes a slash and destroys the bottom of Lanius' helmet. This enrages the Legate and headbutts Duke in the head, knocking ihm to the ground.
"You bitch! You will beg for death when I am done with you!" Legate Lanius raises his blade when a bullet goes through his neck. This makes him hold his neck to stop the bleeding and drops his blade into Duke's hand and she copies it into her inventory.
*Blade of the East Unlocked*
"Thanks for this!" Duke summons the Blade of the East and beheads Legate Lanius. Seeing the Monster of the East headless body fall makes the Legionnaires do something they have never done, they run away. Once fearless soldiers of the mighty Caesar, now they flee from the Enclave and NCR. The Second Battle of Hoover Dam has ended with an NCR and Enclave victory
General Oliver comes out with his NCR veteran ranger guards. "You are welcome, ma'am."
"You were the one that took the shot?" Duke walks in front of the NCR general and he nods. That was when a voice let's out behind the general.
"Don't listen to him!" They all turn and the Rangers aim only to put their weapons down when they see Chief Hanlon with Veronica holding a bandaged Naofumi. Duke runs to her superior and tries to help him only to be shocked once she notices he is missing a hand. Veronica looks at him with guilt.
"He protected me from someone taking my identity."
"Thank you honey." Duke gives a kiss on the cheek to her girlfriend. That was when she glares at General Oliver. "What is he talking about?"
"One of my rangers took the shot on Legate Lanius."
"Hanlon! Do not speak, that's an order." Oliver orders the Ranger veteran but he keeps talking. Naofumi listens as he is being cared for by medics.
"He talks about your Enclave as if you are a rogue state and planned to ambush you once the Legion is dealt with. I refuse to harm someone that assist me at my darkest time." Hanlon said as he looks at Duke. She was the one that came to Camp Golf and convince him to fight once again. Angry, Oliver takes out his pistol and is about to shoot Naofumi when one of the rangers shoot through his hand making him drop it and they grab him by the arms.
"What the fuck you are doing?! I am your superior officer!"
"Orders sir?" One of the veteran rangers ask Chief Hanlon, someone that trained the masked rangers.
"Take General Wait-and-see to the brig."
"Get your goddamn hands off me!" General Oliver shouts but is ignored and taken away. This leaves Chief Hanlon with General Iwatani and Duke Dornan.
"Tell me, what do you want with the NCR?" The commander of the Rangers asks and Naofumi struggles to get up, so Duke and Veronica help him. ED-E floats next to him and pats the eyebot.
"I want there to be peace between our republics."
The ghost ship is flying over Melromarc's Castle Town. Monsters are coming out of it and dropping below. Soldiers are shooting at them but many are able to land and go after the soldiers and knights. A giant ogre, the size of a building, lands and grabs an Enclave soldier in power armor and is able to chomp him, metal and all. "Hm… I love liver."
A missile hits its head, destroying a part of its skin. The ogre turns to see Corporeal Ake and a squad of soldiers charging at it and the monsters. The ogre grabs a carriage and tosses it at the squad. Ake gives his men and women orders. "Watch out!"
He and his squad dodges the giant projectile and fires upon the monster with fury. High above the town, Malty keeps smiling gleeful at the destruction while Glass is sadden at the deaths but believes she needs to end the heroes to save her world. 'Forgive me citizens. Your world must end for mine to continue.'
Malty is happy that she was able to convince this Glass to an alliance. They will work together to kill the heroes and once Glass leaves, the mad princess can rule all.
Glass looks below and sees a vertibird fly up to the ghost ship. Monsters jump out of the ghost ship when the side of the vertibird opens to reveal Bragg holding a minigun. He fires upon them, taking out Nightkin and goblins. "Get some!"
Motoyasu jumps forward and climbs on the ship. Glass merely moves his fan and wind hits the Spear Hero, smashing him onto the edge and almost fall off it. Luckily, he grabs himself. He jumps over another wind blast and is above Glass to strike her, but two arrows hit his sides. He falls on the ground and holds his side in pain. Malty laughs as she aims her bow. "Die before your queen!"
She releases her arrow and is about to hit Motoyasu when Colonel Bragg drops down between them and the arrow bounces off his power armor. He takes out a super sledge and hits Malty, but she is able to shield the attack. The force knocks her back while Glass creates a mighty tornado.
"Circle Dance Zero Formation: Reverse Snow Moon Flower!"
Bragg and Motoyasu are hit by the tornado and it crashes them into the ship. Not giving them time to recover, she creates multiple blades and they rain down at them.
"Chaos Spear!" Motoyasu's spear splits into multiple spears and crashes into the blades. Colonel Bragg gets up and runs at Malty and Glass with a super sledge. He slams it into Malty but she blocks it with a giant shield. The force causes her to crash through the hull ship and tries to hit Glass but she waves her fans and slashes appear on his body. Motoyasu takes a stab but she steps to the side to dodge it. Malty gets up from the hole and is get pissed that these peasants are forcing her to put effort.
"Now!" Bragg orders the vertibird beside the ghost ship and rains minigun bullets at the two enemies. Malty drops down inside the ship while Glass creates a tornado which destroy the ship though not before some bullets hit her in non-lethal areas. Malty comes out and fires an arrow which hits Motoyasu's knee, making him fall to his knees. She gloats at her future victory as Glass hits Bragg with her fans, landing him next to the kneeling Spear Hero.
"Yes! Your corpses will be sent to that damn hero!"
Arcade Gannon looks up and sees the ghost ship in the air. He places General Iwatani down and picks up a Tesla cannon. He aims and waits for Naofumi. He looks up as well and gives the order as he is being check by the medics.
"Fire!"
A giant beam hits the side of the ghost ship. It begins to crash into the town and on top of monsters that were attacking soldiers. Luckily, the Enclave and knights were able to run away when the ship began falling. Not so for the monsters that were crushed by it.
Bragg coughs in pain and weakly gets up. His power armor was able to block the impact but he worries about his comrade that was with him. "Motoyasu! Sound off!"
"Right here..!" The Spear Hero shouts from within a pile of wood and he picks them off to see Motoyasu having a wooden plank stab through his leg.
"There there son. Let's get you a medic."
"Sir!" A number of soldiers find their colonel amongst the wreckage.
"Alright boys, let's get this kid some help." Colonel Bragg orders the soldiers and they begin helping Motoyasu. "Where are the enemies?"
"That girl with the fans seem to have teleported away. As for the bitch..."
"Help! Please!" Malty shouts not that far from the soldiers and is trap under wood. She tries to summon her weapons but her hands are trap and maybe broken. "I'll give my savior anything! Money, land, slaves!"
Naofumi is limping with Arcade by his side and his severed arm bandaged to hide the stump. Malty moves her head to see the man she tried to frame walking past her. General Iwatani rolls his eyes once he hears her pleading and gets off of Arcade but staggers due to his balance being off. "S-shield Hero! Please help me! I will give you everything! We can rule the kingdom tog-"
*BANG*
Malty's head blows up thanks to Naofumi's sawed-off shotgun. He walks away from the corpse. "I don't have time for this."
"Ser Naofumi!" Melty runs at Naofumi and hugs her future step-father while Mirellia appears as well and checks on his stump arm.
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Naofumi tries to calm her but she shakes her head.
"No. We have magic that can reclaim your arm." The queen reassures him and then she looks behind Naofumi and sees the corpse of her deranged daughter. She makes sure Melty doesn't look. Naofumi looks sad as he believes the queen will hate him now that her daughter is dead. Mirellia merely kisses Naofumi and gives him a smile. "It is okay. I understand."
Naofumi smiles as well and then he hears something. "Do you hear screaming?"
That was when the sun begins to black out. Everyone looks up and becomes fearful. They don't know what to do, especially as they get closer. Only Mirellia finds her voice when she shouts for everyone to hear and do.
"METEOR SHOWER! EVERYONE TAKE COVER!"
