"Had you been a demoness, I may have broken control and filled you; the need was there," He admitted out loud.
Her blush faded. "What?" She seemed confused,
"You would have been pregnant."
"Wait, you didn't cum in me, not because I would have gotten pregnant but because I am human and I would have gotten pregnant?" Real life came slamming back to her. Not that she was complaining; she didn't want to be pregnant; the shame it would bring, the shame of what she just did was already hitting her.
He picked up his clothing. "Our children would be half breeds,"
She shook her head, trying to figure out just what she was feeling,
"I'm sorry?"
"Half breeds, like my brother." He was dressing,
"What was this?" Was this punishment? "Is this the other scar you said you would give me?"
He thought for a moment. Now that he thought about it, it did seem that way, didn't it? "It is far too late to regret it now, woman and no."
"I didn't say I regretted it." She wasn't sure.
He handed her his plain white under robe, her clothes were all torn.
"Do you regret it?" She asked,
He was putting his sword back. "I have fucked many women; I do not care enough to have regrets. If you are referring to your humanity, fear not, it did not bother me at the time."
"Only if I became pregnant?" She couldn't even be mad; this was her own fault.
He looked up, somewhere this conversation went wrong.
"I do not deny I lust for you, your body. I, however, do not seek your heart," He told her,
At least he was being honest; she would give him that.
"Good thing im looking to give it to you,"
"I will not follow in my father's footsteps; I cannot."
She turned from him,
"My regret would have been not touching you; I wish to feel you in the heat of this moment, to see how the power would react, to feel it."
She blushed slightly at his words.
"But you won't regret me leaving?" She still didn't look at him.
"Will you?"
"Why would I stay?" Did he hear himself? She looked back at him; the wind blew hard and rough, and she blinked.
Did he detect tears?
The leaves and blossoms rushed by them, and when they settled, she was gone.
The tears were not from the fact that he didn't care about her, but at the same time, he took something from her without a thought, but she let him. All for a one-night stand and power struggle.
Two days later, Kagome slowly packed her things as Sango watched; Naoko came in and sat down. "Do not despair, Kagome."
"How can I not? I gave myself to him! Betrayed myself, how could I be such a fool?" She was an idiot. If she decided not to become a Miko, then no man would want her, not deflowered.
Kikyo had been pissed; she told both Iuntashio and Kagome that it was time she left with her, they agreed, and Sesshomaru had yet to return.
"No one will want me," She whispered, tears threatening to spill.
"I want you." Everyone turned to see Kouga standing at the door,
"Brother," Naoko bowed,
"I dont care what happened; when I got my sister's letter, I could not stand by. I had to come and seek you and maybe your favor in time?"
Tears formed; this man was willing to overlook her not being pure and seek her help and maybe her heart one day.
Kagome looked at Naoko.
"Forgive me, but I thought you may be of help to us, and I thought you might like a change of location?"
Kagome smiled and hugged Naoko; maybe this was what she needed. Being tied to the West, she wasn't sure she could do it. She didn't want to see him again.
"I'll go."
Kouga smirked. "Be ready for battle,"
Kagome nodded. Even though Sesshomaru didn't want her, she knew he thought she belonged to the West.
Well, she didn't.
