Sesshomaru had zero tolerance for half-breeds.

Naraku never knew what hit him. Kouga and Inuyasha had been mere playthings for the half-breed demon.

Sesshomaru, of course, was underestimated by the spider. Sesshomaru's eyes were red as blood, and while his demonic side was out, he was in full control, and he knew what he wanted.

The spider's heart.

It was not as easy as Sesshomaru thought it would be and there was a power struggle. But his passion for death and the life the spider took was more passionate than the spider's will to live.

Naraku stared at him in shock as Sesshomaru squeezed on the human heart of the spider.

"A life for a life," Sesshomaru all but growled,

"What life, I took no life, yet" Naraku smirked, and Sesshomaru felt something behind him.

It was a wind witch of some sort.

Sesshomaru crushed Naraku's heart, and the wind witch did nothing to stop him.

Naraku parished by Sesshomaru's hands, and the wind blew his ashes away.

Kagura was the wind's name, and she bowed her thanks to Sesshomaru. He paid her no mind; instead, he was focused on the blood on his hands and in his veins. Fire was rushing through him, and he had never felt more powerful than he did at that moment. Part of him wanted to go on a killing spree with what was running through him.

It was then that he realized, she was not a weakness.

"My Lord?" Kagura waved her fan in front of his face.

Sesshomaru snatched her wrist. "Do not," He growled. She was shocked "Forgive me, but I merely thought you would be interested in the Miko."

Sesshomaru released her "What Miko."

"The one known as Kikyo."

"I care not for that wench; seek out my half-brother to deal with her."

She raised an elegant eyebrow before bowing "As you wish, I am indebted to you."

Her life in all aspects was his to command.

"Do as you please."

He turned from her and went back the way in which he came.

When he returned, he found everyone but her and Inuyasha waiting outside.

"Is it over?" Sango asked, seeing the blood on the Demon Lord.

"The half-breed is dead, and the Miko has been found."

Sango and Kouga looked at each other. "Someone should go find Inuyasha."

"The wind witch will find him." Sesshomaru looked around. "Where is the Miko?"

"She left," Kouga said, crossing his arms. Sesshomaru glared at him. "What do you mean, left? Is she not within your house?"

"She wanted to go home."

"You let her?"

Kouga unfolded his arms. "She ain't my prisoner."

Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes.

"My Lord," Naoko bowed. "She is tired and has had a hard loss; time is what she needs now."

Time? She didn't have time she was human.

"What do you want with her anyway," Kouga asked smugly,

"We have things to discuss, yet why must I explain."

"Because she's mine now," Kouga responded hotly. "You have your bitch; leave mine alone."

Sango pulled on Kouga as Sesshomaru's aura grew dark.

"Brother," Naoko hissed,

"No, he can't have you both, and he didn't want her, scarred her, used her, and threw her away!" Kouga glared. "Don't you have any honor?"

Sango was now holding Kouga back, and Naoko was standing in between them. Insulting his honor was an excellent way to get a one-way ticket to hell.

"What the hell is going on."

Everyone turned to see Inuyasha carrying Kikyo.

"Where is Kagome?" He asked,

"Home," Sango stated; she would return soon as well.

"Leave her be, Sesshomaru."

"You think to tell me what to do, little brother?"

"Are you gonna mate her or just insult her?" Inuyasha snapped, "If you ain't claiming her, then leave her the fuck alone."

Naoko, though she didn't really care, was starting to feel a little insulted herself.

"If you wish to go see her, go see her, but the time of court is over." Naoko spoke, "Make your decision, my Lord." She bowed.

"K, he ain't gonna chose her; his pride won't let him." Inuyasha laid Kikyo down. "She's human, a weakness to him; he just wants to control her because he can."

Sesshomaru grabbed Inuyasha by the throat and lifted him. "Shall I show you how weak I am, Inuyasha?"

Sesshomaru eyes were bleeding red again, and his grip was iron-locked.

"I am going," Sango spoke, "Are you going with me?"

Sesshomaru glared at Inuyasha before dropping him.

He then turned away from the group. "I will return."

He then vanished, and everyone signed, but not in relief.
