"I AM NEVER LETTING YOU TOUCH ME AGAIN!"

Outside, the people who gathered flinched at her screams. Naoko smirked at her friend's empty threat, though it would sever him right.

"Serves the dumbass right" Inuyasha smirked, but he, too, knew that was never gonna happen.

Inside a demon, Lord stayed calm. "Empty threats, mate."

He knew good and well that was an empty threat. Their sex was an erotic power neither of them could deny or ignore. Kagome never use the safe word that day their baby was conceived.

"I mean it!" She cried.

"I will remind you of this when you are begging for me, woman." He smirked slightly.

"Such a jerk!" She gritted as sweat dripped down her neck. Sesshomaru purred at the sight.

"You have got to be kidding me! I am in labor Sesshomaru!" Kagome rolled her eyes in pain.

"Hn mate," He ran his hand over her belly. "He will be here soon."

"What makes you think it's a boy?"

"Never has a female been born first."

A contraction hit her, and she pushed. He smelt her blood and then something new. Kagome's cry faded and made way for a new one.

The midwife quickly put the baby on Kagome's chest, who smiled and cooed and loveling looked up at her mate.

He was amazed, and this was why she wanted him in the room.

"It is small," He declared,

Kagome giggled, and the midwife looked up at him "Tis a baby, my Lord."

"I was not that small," He added,

"Aw, a tiny Sesshomaru!" Kagome beamed, and he gave her a flat look. Then he reached out and brushed the baby's fuzzy hair back, and up popped two tiny ears, then the baby sneezed.

Sesshomaru began to purr and sniff.

Kagome watched in amazement. "What are you doing?" She asked quietly,

"Scent marking our child."

Her heart swelled at his words, their child. All the pain and suffering and coldness it was gone and forgiven.

She loved him.

Kagome sat up, and the baby wiggled to her breast, and that didn't stop Sesshomaru from sniffing around the baby's face.

The baby kicked and moved as it ate, reacting to his father.

Then suddenly, he moved back,

"What?" Kagome asked,

Sesshomaru looked at both his mate and child, and something new rose in him. A powerful urge to kill anything or anyone who came too close. His eyes began to bleed.

"Sesshomaru, are you ok?"

"I want to hold her."

Kagome's lips parted. "Her?" She breathed as he took the baby and held her close. "See, never say never, my Lord," Kagome added as she saw that the baby was indeed a girl.

Kagome watched as her once cold mate, who showed no emotion, became warm and soft, and the pure look of love on his face was something she hoped to see over and over again.

His eyes did not stray from their daughter, and suddenly, he felt guilty for the way he had treated Kagome. He looked at her.

"Indeed, never say never, my mate."

Kagome blushed, knowing full well what he meant.

"I love you." She stated, and his chest rumbled with pride as he lowered his lips to hers to show her just how much he loved her.

He never wanted to hurt her again, Never would ask another to take her place, never needed anyone else, just her, always her.

And he never knew a love like this before, never knew he could love, and never knew how powerful it would make him feel. They were his to protect. His to keep, his to love.

And love them he did.
