Also, I apologize ahead of time for any grammatical/spelling errors as I do not have anyone helping me edit and as we all know, we writers tend to read our work as it is in our brain instead of how it was actually written. I do try to catch things, but some do fall through the cracks. Thank you all for still reading it in all its glory and flaws. :) Also sorry for the rush through the fighting scenes. I've realized that I am not very good at attempting to write fights.
Hope you all enjoy the story

Previously from Chapter 9
Zen and Cristoff agree and decide to go to bed also wanting to be close to their mate, Farron was just tired himself and ready to go to bed.
Bickslow, Vander and Erik decided they would stay up for a while to drink, plus the mated couple wanted to discuss a few things with Vander with the rest of the brothers out of the room.
Chapter 10
After walking onto the training grounds Capricorn and Crux come out of their gates ready to help Lucy with her meditation. They had important information for her.
"Miss L-L-L-Lucy, tonight's mediation, as we stated before, is going to be different. You are going to be opening an old magic."
"Am I allowed to know about the magic I'm opening? Is it something I should be worried about?"
A snoring Crux wakes up and looks at his mage.
"Oh, no. There is nothing to worry about. You are being given archangel magic by the heavens. It will however give you another mate."
Lucy felt dumbfounded. Another mate and she already was worried about how she would please two boscan men as it was. Why the hell does fate feel she needs more than one mate.
Then there is everything she has obtained so far: Being the princess of the stars, starbringer, celestial mage, celestial dragon slayer, Queen of a Tatsu and now archangel magic. This is becoming too much.
"M-M-Miss Lucy, this new magic is a great honor. A gift from the very heavens themselves."
More determined now knowing that the new magic she was receiving was a gift, she got into position and started to breathe deeply.
"So with this you will have to stretch your magic containers and then stretch further to create twenty-six spheres for each of our keys."
After clearing her mind, she could feel her magic start to expand and a small breeze lift her hair around her face.
The sweat started to fall down her face as she released spheres for each of her keys. Her concentration was difficult with all of the magic she was using, making her feel more giddy than usual. The boost from the natural environment she was in, aiding her.
Then she felt more of her spirits open their own gates. One, two, three…..twelve more spirits were out on their own magic feeding into her magical sphere. Her magic started to change from her usual sphere to a funnel of pure white light. She saw keys above her for a moment and then her world turned black.
She floated in a beautiful sky of blues, pinks and purples, with sparkles of silver and gold for what felt like hours. It seemed like she was floating somewhere as she started to see a door coming up to her.
The door was a deep dark red wood with gold and green accents and brass floral hardware. Intricate cherubs were carved into the woodwork. 'Bix would love the details in this.'
Taking the knob into her hand she twisted it and inside she found the rose garden from the Kozern. She could smell the scent of the roses like when she was a child and remembered the beautiful rainbow they created.
She noticed she was wearing new clothes. A light beige loose lace dress with little gold and silver sparkles all over it. Her hair was up in a messy bun with little flowers surrounding it like a crown. Her feet were bare and the grass felt soft and damp in between her toes.
She continued to walk further into the garden when she saw them. Her mother and father were standing by a bench seat as if they knew she was coming. She didn't know how to respond.
Jude was wearing light brown pants, light blue button up shirt and red suspenders. His hair was messy, not the usual slicked back style. Layla was wearing a matching outfit as her daughter, the whole family lacking footwear.
"How, how are you both here? Where are we? Am I dreaming?"
Layla smiled and took Lucy's hand in her own.
"Always so eager to ask so many questions. Yes my sweet Lucy, we are here, but in your dream. The archangels of the heavens allowed us to come and explain what was happening to and for you. They figured familiar faces would help ease you into everything. I know things have been changing quite a bit for you already."
Jude takes her other hand, her parents leading her to sit on the bench with them.
"Lucy, your mother and Ganier had agreed that if Arman and Garnier did not end up having a child with celestial magic, you would receive her keys. You would become the keeper of the angels. What we had not expected was that your magic would grow and flourish as quickly as it has. Because of this, the archangel mages had taken notice of your love and loyalty for your spirits and the strength yours and your spirits magic has obtained. They had told your stories to the god keys, the rulers of the heavens and you had been chosen to become an archangel mage."
Lucy allowed the information to sink in. She felt overwhelmed but did admit having her parents explain it was more reassuring.
"Wow, this is wildly new information. After Arman explained why I did not know he was my god father, I can understand why the keys were never passed down to me. I always thought the gods keys did not take time to notice a celestial mage."
"They do not, however you have done what no other mage has. You accomplish more and more during your battles and training, and have been willing to give your life for your spirits. Of course, you would be noticed. You are the starbringer and princess of the celestial realm. The heavens wanted to have a bit of you too."
"What does it mean, me becoming an archangel mage? I could find very little information about them."
"The magic used to flourish centuries ago, but the forced matings to celestial mages caused many to die. You see celestial mages would get a boost to their magic and the archangel mage would become a slave. It was not a mating for each of your halves making a whole. It was more of a power boost to protect celestial mages."
"Since then, a rule had changed that an archangel mage would be mated to a celestial mage but in the same form as dragon mating. Their magic would be compatible and the mating would see both mages in love. No longer slaves, with the new rule it would take one thousand years from the death of the last archangel mage before another would be born."
Ganier shows up behind them and starts to explain some of the information herself. Ganier matched with Lucy and Layla, except her dress was colored a light blue.
"My son Zen, he's the first born archangel mage in one thousand years. We were so happy to find out you would be mated to him. He needs someone that can show him the love and understanding he deserves after the hell he went through."
Lucy wrung her hands in nervousness talking to the mother of her mates.
"It's even more overwhelming. Now I have another mate to add to all of this and I am not sure who it is or what kind of magic they'll have. I'm just really worried that once I'm mated to Cris and Zen, adding someone else may make it uncomfortable."
"Your other mate is the only other archangel mage to be born with the magic. He just has not released his magic yet. Once he does, he'll add into your group easily. You three being archangel mages will help to start the repopulation of archangel and celestial magic, so they both can flourish again."
"I really hope so. Thank you for allowing me to hold your keys. It truly is an honor."
Ganier gently cradled Lucy's face in her hands with love in her eyes.
"You have been my goddaughter since you were born, and now my daughter. As I told your parents, if I did not have a child with celestial mage, you would get my keys. I'm happy that they have seen what you have accomplished. Just promise your parents and myself we can get some little grandbabies to watch over."
Lucy had not wanted to discuss the idea of children yet. She still has to mate with Cris and Zen, along with training to learn how to use this new magic she has. Will definitely have to ask her mate to help her.
"Oh um at some point I'm sure we will. I'm not in a hurry though."
Lucy noticed that Ganier's attention had been taken and she was mouthing something to someone in the bushes behind her. When she turned her head though, there was only flowers.
"Ganier, is everything okay?"
Garnier smiled at Lucy with a 'I know a little secret' expression on her face.
"Better than ok. I do believe it is time that we enjoy a picnic and enjoy company before you have to wake up."
The group enjoyed fresh fruits, cheese, crackers and meat with some white fruity wine. After what felt like a full day, Layla looks at her daughter with tears in her eyes.
"I think it's time for you to wake up. We are so proud of you Lucy. Keep being you."
Jude took Lucy's hand into his, helping her up from her seat. He had tears rolling down his face.
"Lucy, we couldn't ask for a better daughter. You have grown into an amazing young woman."
Lucy had tears in her own eyes with the thought that this may be the last time she would see them. She hugs both of her parents.
"I have missed you both so much. I promise to keep getting stronger and changing how people see celestial magic. I promise one day I will have children, just not any time soon." A chuckle coming from the young celestial mage.
Ganier comes to Lucy next and wraps her in her own hug.
"We love you greatly Lucy, we will always be watching all of you. Please take good care of my sons. They'll be your greatest strength as you will be theirs. Never forget that."
Lucy nods and closes her eyes and her world goes black again.
Erik looks at his mate and then at Vander as he was taking another sip of his whiskey. Looking back at his mate with a serious expression he takes a deep breath.
"Babe, what did you see when you used your magic on Kaleb and Tink? Don't even pretend that you didn't because I saw you."
Bickslow ran his hand through his mohawk.
"Man, you remember how I explained I see mates, like the strings that lead from that person to their mates?"
Erik and Vander nodded. Vander wanted to know what they are insinuating? Did they notice that he himself had not.
"Well, the strings between Cosplayer with Zen and Cris are quite thick. Now with Kaleb, there is a string between them, just not as strong. I'm not really sure what that means though."
"I can tell you that he had fallen for Tink. His soul is screaming for hers. He has the same obsession for her as a slayer and now I'm assuming an archangel would. I don't know, but he sees himself as a potential mate. Can something like that even happen?"
Vander now realizing the pieces that are being put together, he downs the rest of his drink. He hadn't seen it as a big issue that his brother was more relaxed and taking time away from working. He usually had his lacrama tablet with him at all times to make sure he could work from anywhere. He would welcome anytime his brother would take some time for himself.
Now, he really hoped something like that could happen since he did not want to see his older brother get hurt. Kaleb deserved a wonderful partner to not only help him run the guild, but to also make him take time away from working himself to death. He knew his new little kitten would make a perfect match for his workaholic brother.
Bickslow broke his brother's train of thought.
"I don't know. I mean maybe there is something we are missing. There shouldn't have even been a string to begin with. She never had one with Rufus so for her to have one with Kaleb is confusing. They've touched hands when they met. Why hadn't they noticed anything then?"
"Didn't her lion spirit just say she now has another mate. Maybe because she had to wait for her new magic, Kaleb could be now." Vander pointed out to both men.
Accepting that, Erik takes the last of his drink.
"That's true. Let's just leave it alone right now and play it by ear. Just don't say anything since we are not sure."
The two other men nodded.
"Agreed."
