Aria comes to breakfast the next day, scowling.
"Good morning, Aria!" Luke says. But Aria says nothing back.
"What's wrong with her?" Luke asked.
Aria tossed her breakfast at the wall and went to Tori's house.
"Again, what's wrong with her?" Luke asked.
Chalice thinks. "It must be what happened on last night's show. She was wonderful and did a really great job…then she got jealous of us." She says.
Luke felt like a horrible father. He basically discouraged his daughter.
"You are a good father to Aria." Luna reassured Luke.
"Why is she mad at me?" Luke asked.
"You get mad whenever someone steals your spotlight and she knows you'll never give her a chance. That's what she thinks." Lucy says.
"You basically just thought of yourself last night and lied to Aria." Luan says.
"Yeah! Luke, you need to learn how to take a loss and not get upset. Aria hates to see you cry and she hates making you cry." Lynn says.
"But I want to win..." Luke sniffed.
"We know. But maybe you need to let your daughter have a chance." Luna says. "She's a performer at heart and only wants a spotlight of her own."
"Last night, when you got the platinum button, I think Aria got jealous of you two. She saw that she's inferior to you. How do you think that made her feel?" Lynn asked the couple. "Have either of you stopped and thought about how she felt? You basically lied to her when you said you were on her side."
They look down in shame.
"Maybe I should give Gemma and April a call…" Charity says. "They're going to love hearing about how you treat a fellow contestant, otherwise known as my granddaughter. And while I'm at it, I think I'll also call the San Antonio CPS. Wait until they hear about all the things you planned to do to Aria if you ended up winning. You lied about being proud of her for going on the show. You lied about being on her side. You two deserve to be ashamed of yourselves right now."
(A/N- Crumbelina's Sweet Admirer: No, Luke doesn't carry the whole show. Other teams have to perform, too.)
Luke looks ashamed as Charity goes to get her phone. He watches Charity dial Gemma's number and he watches Charity talk to her.
Meanwhile, Lisa knocks on Beau's door. Jancey had answered the door instead of Beau. She let Lisa inside.
"Beau is in the middle of a yoga session with his yoga instructor, then he has voice lessons in an hour, so I'm hoping whatever you have to tell him won't take long." Jancey says.
Beau emerges 45 minutes later, still in his yoga clothes. "Lisa? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Beau, I'm sorry for everything. I knew you and Luke were friends. And I should have known that if I hurt him, you would find out. And then you found out. Ever since then, my life's been a mess. I really miss you. If you don't want to forgive me, I understand. But I at least want to know if you'll give me another chance." Lisa says.
"I'll think about it." Beau says. "You know I still love you, but I need time. If I decide to take you back, some things will have to change. If I don't take you back, then it's best for you to move on and find yourself."
"I get it." Lisa says and leaves.
Gemma hung up. Charity looks at the couple before her as April had heard everything.
"Told you Aria had a chance." Leo says.
Aria soon came home and ignored her parents.
"I'm sorry." Luke says to his daughter.
"Why should I accept your apology?! You never wanted to give me a chance!" Aria sobbed. "All you care about is winning! Not me!"
Luke looks down.
"I mean, years ago, you told Aunt Lisa you'd give her a chance, but when she won, you got mad. You're going to assault me if I win, aren't you?" Aria sobbed.
The head of the San Antonio CPS enters the house and asks Luke and Chalice some questions.
"I confess. I hate it when I don't win..." Luke says.
Lucy was stunned.
"So, if she won, would you have attacked her? Because according to previous history, you tend to treat your events more important than other people sometimes." the worker says. "It seems all that matters to you is winning. You see your daughter as less important. You aren't giving her a chance. That's the way Lynn acts." the CPS worker says.
"I get it!" Luke screamed.
Aria sobbed against Luna.
"Come on, dudette." Luna says. "You can stay with me and Sam."
"I think she should stay with Mugman." Leni says.
"Good idea." Charity says.
Luke sobbed, feeling guilty and very ashamed as Charity called Margo and Mugman.
"Hello?" Mugman says, answering his phone.
"Due to Luke's attitude toward his daughter, the CPS wants Aria to stay somewhere else until Luke's attitude improves. Is there any chance she could stay with you and Margo? She isn't safe here right now." Charity says.
"Of course. She can stay as long as she likes. I'll have Margo set up a guest bed in Jackson's room." Mugman says.
"See you in a bit." Charity says before hanging up. She then helps Aria pack a few things.
Mugman shakes his head in disbelief.
"What happened?" Margo asked her husband.
"Luke's attitude went too far when he confessed to the CPS about wanting to hurt Aria if she won ANH." he says.
"It was only a matter of time." Margo says.
"Could you get a guest bed made up in Jackson's room, love? I'll get lunch started." Mugman says.
"Sure." Margo says as she got some bedsheets from the linen closet. "I never thought I'd see the day when Luke would threaten his own flesh and blood…"
At the manor, April and Gemma had come by. And they were in disbelief.
"How could you, Luke? How could you confess to wanting to hurt your daughter?!" April asked.
"Because I wanted to win." Luke confessed. "And I would hurt anyone who beat me."
"So, if your own daughter beat you, you were going to hurt her?" Gemma asked.
"I don't know! Give me a break! I can't control my anger!" Luke hissed, annoyed. But Charity put a stop to Luke's attitude problem.
"Answer them without copping an attitude!" Charity says. "Or there will be no birthday week for you this year."
"Fine, yes…" Luke says.
"I cannot believe what I'm hearing…" Gemma says.
"Me, neither." April says.
"You need serious help, Luke." Gemma says.
"What are you suggesting?" Charity asked.
"Therapy." Gemma says. "And until we hear of any improvements, Luke will be banned from rehearsals and studio events."
"Please! I'll change!" Luke says, on his knees.
"Then you need to stop this. You already lost your daughter because of your threats. You will attend therapy." April says.
In a different world, Lloyd was about to kiss Harumi, but Angry Luigi leaped and stomped on her by accident, pissing Alem tuber off as Angry Luigi rushed in a portal. Alem tuber gave chase and flew into the portal.
Meanwhile, Beau approached Lisa.
"Lisa, I gave it some thought. And I've decided to give you another chance. But there are a few conditions." Beau says.
"Anything, just name it!" Lisa says.
"You can't steal Luke's awards if he was the one who earned them." Beau says.
"That's fair." Lisa says. "What else?"
"You need to be nice to Luke." Beau says.
Aria arrived at Margo and Mugman's house.
"Aria, what's going on?" Jackson asked. Aria told Jackson everything.
"Sweetie, Aria is going to stay with us for a while." Margo tells Jackson.
"She'll sleep in your room. In a guest bed." Mugman says.
"Okay." He says. Aria heads up as she sniffed. He then helps Aria get unpacked. And sure enough, it took them until 2:30 to get unpacked. Jackson gasps.
"The Dirk Dangerous Show's season 2 opener is on! Wanna watch it with me?" Jackson asked Aria.
Aria nods and smiles. "I would love to!" She says.
The two of them watch the show together while having a snack of cheese, crackers, and sliced apples.
At Huntington Manor, Luke is sobbing, feeling very guilty for what he had done.
He swears he's going to change. And for once, he means it.
