On Halloween, Lilith smiled. she was planning on starting a new mortician's club. She made breakfast for her mother, whose birthday was today.

Lucy got Cuphead his anniversary breakfast.

"Thanks, Lucy." Cuphead says. "I love strawberry pancakes!'

Lucy smiled. She planned a concert. But she also saw that Luke and Chalice planned a party for the cups later. She sighed, feeling useless. She felt washed up.

Cuphead walked out to look for his brother.

At Margo and Mugman's house, Mugman looked for his wife and son. He comes downstairs and sees his anniversary breakfast.

"Happy anniversary, Mugman/Dad!" Jackson and Margo say.

"Margo, Jackson…this is wonderful!" He says as he sees the blueberry pancakes. He begins to eat.

Aria was excited for trick or treating. Since Luke and Chalice couldn't take her, Colton and Autumn offered to. And Luke thanked them in advance.

Clover came as Aria hugged Clover, feeling guilty for what she did.

"I'm so sorry!" Aria says to Clover.

Clover froze, remembering. She then shook.

"Clover?" Aria asked.

"I can't!" Clover cried.

"What?" Aria asked.

"I CAN'T!" Clover cried as she buried her face in Luna's chest.

Aria goes to Clover. Clover shakes.

"Aunt Luna, what's wrong with her?" Aria asked.

"She's traumatized." Luna says. Aria frowned.

Luke was helping Chalice set up for the cups' anniversary party at Inkwell Castle.

Chalice tripped, but Luigi caught her.

"This party is going to be their biggest anniversary celebration yet!" Luke says.

"Oh, we got a gift Cuphead has been dying for." Sonic says.

"Happy Halloween!" Daisy says, dressed as a skeleton.

"Sorry Rosalina couldn't make it, she got sick." Peach says.

"I can't wait for our birthday in May. Oh, on January 21st, I get to go to Smash Manor for their anniversary party." Cuphead says.

"I don't like those guys…" Mugman says.

"I can't stay for long, Chalice. Tonight is a Halloween festival for us and the Toads." Peach says.

"We're supposed to be celebrating the 4th of July." Mega Man says.

Everyone looks at him as he leaves, head down.

"You guys think you can make it for Cream's birthday?" Amy asked Chalice and Peach.

"When is it?" Chalice asked.

Amy looks at her worried.

"December 19th." Amy says.

Meanwhile, Cuphead goes on rides and signs autographs. Mugman signs some autographs as well.

"Okay, I am ready to party!" Cuphead says.

"We need to get changed into our costumes first, Cuppy." Mugman reminded him.

Savannah was making soup for a sick Rosalina.

"So why are you being executed?" Rosalina asked

"We got invited to see the president before Luke did." Savannah sighed.

"And he's executing you for it? Sure, you may have accidentally hurt his feelings, but the president should take some responsibility." Rosalina says.

With Luke, he was changing into his Skimbleshanks costume for the party. He teared up in the mirror.

Chalice dressed up in her Sharpay Evans costume. "What's wrong?" She asked Luke.

"They hurt me…" Luke says.

"Who?" Chalice asked.

"Them…" Luke hissed.

"It's Halloween. Let's forget about them for now." Chalice says.

Luke sighed and went to the party with Chalice.

Meanwhile, Lilith was hosting the first goth meeting. Unfortunately, since she couldn't find a lot of goths in town, it was just her and Edwin.

She frowned, looking down.

"Better than no one, I suppose." Lilith says.

"I'm just doing this to escape my dad's anniversary. I hate parties." Edwin says. "And I also did this so my family will understand me better."

Cuphead and Mugman see the party.

"Flavored ice sculptures of us?!" Cuphead asked curiously.

"There's a pirate ship playground!" Mugman says.

"Grow up…" Chalice muttered about Cuphead. Luke looked at her.

"This is an inner child-themed party, Chally. Let them have this." Luke says.

"Oh, all right…" Chalice says as she goes off to dance.

Cuphead dances, becoming the "life of the party". Mugman dances with Margo.

Later, the cup brothers opened their anniversary gifts.

Cuphead opened Luke's gift, which was a DVD set of his favorite show "Fun With Fireworks". Cuphead grinned.

Luke got Mugman a book set of a pirate-based graphic novel he really likes. Mugman smiles and hugs Luke.

The cups open their gifts from Chalice next. She got them a new performance wardrobe. They were surprised by this.

Lucy had left to check on Edwin. She saw him with Lilith.

"How'd it go?" Lucy asked.

"It went fine." Edwin says.

The kids was trick or treating. Aria goes to Clover

"Clover, Clover, hey, listen nothing bad will happen." Aria says.

Wild Card Willy kidnapped Colton and Autumn and drove away.

Clover shrieked and tried to run, but Aria grabbed her "We can't run. We have to save them." Aria says.

"Wait, what?" Alya asked.

"Okay." Joe says as he uses his Omnitrix, unleashing a green flash as he became Grey matter

"I hate this thing…" Grey Matter says.

Aria kicked down the door to their base and sees some goons looking at her.

They charged towards Aria. Alya texted Alem tuber and Clover tries to call Luna but her phone got shot.

Grey Matter thinks and noticed a button and wires.

"I have an idea." Grey Matter says.

One goon tries to punch Aria who dodged. He punched Clover in the face. Aria leaped and kicked him in the face.

Two try to grab Jackson, who used his peashooter, blasting them. Alya kicked two of them aside as she dodged bullets and rushed around.

Grey Matter sprayed water at some guards and then goes to untie Autumn and Colton. One of the guards grabbed Grey Matter.

"Uh-oh." Grey Matter says as Aria leaped and used her dancing kick but tripped into him. Joe timed out as Wild Card Willy tossed a lasso, tying up the kids.

"Time to use you kids as hostages." He says as Big Owl nods.

"Hoot, Hoot!" Big Owl says.

Meanwhile, Alem tuber and Lucas were out trick or treating as Alem tuber got the text.

"Okay, son, why don't we kick butt together and save your sister?" Alem tuber says as Lucas smirked. They flew off.

Savannah got worried as Angry Luigi turned into Jetray and flew off.

"This was such a great idea, Aria!" Jackson snarked.

"Edwin and Lilith will be here any moment." Aria says as they come in with their hands up.

"Oh." Aria says, frowning.

Angry Luigi and Luke arrived with Alem tuber and Savannah as Rosalina had sent Savannah down.

"Hey, let our kids go!" Luke says.

"What he said." Alem tuber says.

"You think you can stop us, Luke?" Wild Card Willy asked.

"Please, I've dealt with you so many times, I can do it again." Luke says.

"Daddy!" Aria says as Luna came in, looking steamed

"Luna!" Angry Luigi says

"Let go of my kid!" Savannah says, angry. Angry Luigi had electric sparks.

Aria hit Joe's Omnitrix.

Joe smiled as his skin became blue with black scissor claws. He smiled as he grew orbs on his face as he also grew a tail. XLR8 rushed across the screen and struck a pose.

"It's hero time!" XLR8 says and rushed around, freeing the kids and prisoners as evil owls shot lunar beams at XLR8, who barely dodged.

Wild Card Willy was about to shoot Aria, but Angry Luigi saved Aria. Joe timed out and fell and Wild Card Willy turned to him, but Luna punched him.

"Mommy!" Clover screamed as Big Owl grabbed her. Angry Luigi and Alem tuber shot lighting and ki blasts as Big Owl flew around.

Luke leaped and started punching Wild Card Willy. Lucas was punching owl robots left and right.

Aria smirked as she stood on a pole. "Hey, Willy, over here!" She waved as he tossed a lasso as she leaped up. "I may not have a peashooter or a super art, but I got my mad skills! Triple dancing kick!" She says and tripped comedy style.

Wild Card Willy laughed. "Real challenge, please." he said and turned to see Luke behind him. "…hey."

Angry Luigi took out a magic window as he and Savannah leap in. Savannah leaped and stomped on Big Owl. Angry Luigi came out of one and stomped on Big Owl. This went on until Savannah tripped.

Meanwhile, Wild Card Willy tossed a lasso at Luke. Luke leaped up before he was touched. He wasn't going down easily. When it came to his family, he wasn't going to back down. He took the lasso and tied Wild Card Willy up with it instead.

Luna furiously kicked him. Seeing Clover hurt was a trigger.

Lucy blasted a few owls using spells. "Edwin, catch!" Lucy says tossing a potion to him as he drank it and felt a power surge.

"Oh, peashooters!" Jackson says and starts shooting.

"No fair, how come you guys got it?" She asked.

"I'm responsible." Jackson says.

"Lightning surge!" Angry Luigi says shooting lightning and zapping Big Owl and soon the fight is over.

"Luke, listen, we're sorry for hurting your feelings." Alem tuber says.

"We truly are." Savannah says.

"You took that opportunity from me! Over a demonic army that you beat!" Luke hissed.

"In our defense, we really just wanted a thank you from our town mayor. Not the president, but here." Savannah says, giving Luke the ticket to have dinner with the president. Luke didn't know what to say.

"You deserve it." Savannah says and hugs him. "Thank you for saving my child."

"Hey, thanks for helping save my daughter." Luke says.

"We should get back to the party." Lucy says.

The cups realized they had been abandoned at their own party. Not everyone left.

"My son!" Mugman says, realizing this and sucks his thumb. "Did he die?!"

"My party…" Cuphead says as the others arrived.

Chalice slapped sense into Mugman then look at Cuphead

"Your party, really?" Lucy asked, fuming. "Ugh, I can't with you! I don't understand why we're married at all!" Lucy screamed as the attention was on a really frustrated Lucy. "First, you never accepted Edwin, then you didn't know he was in trouble twice!"

"Wanna go to Smash Manor on January 21st for our anniversary?" Link asked.

"Yes, sir, I'm in!" Cuphead says as Chalice and Mugman were given invites, but Mugman declined because of wanting to be around his son more. And he still didn't like it.

"UGH!" Lucy screamed. Cuphead literally ignores what she says and runs away. Mugman pitied Lucy a bit.

Luke sighed and left as the party was now falling apart. He was furious with Lucy for ruining it. She couldn't be frustrated with him afterwards.

"I. QUIT. PLANNING PARTIES!" Luke screamed as he stormed away.

"Luke, the party is great" Cuphead says when he sees Luke running.

"Really?" Luke sniffed.

Everyone nods as the party continues with food. It didn't stop Luke from being mad at Lucy for trying to ruin the atmosphere.

"It's not Lucy who ruined it. Listen, she's been through lots of stress with Cuphead. Their marriage is kinda on the rocks." Haiku said. At this point, Luke was steamed. He left the party for real this time and didn't come back for a while.

Soon, it was piñata time. Luke still wasn't back.

Clover was shaking after being kidnapped.

Lucy finds Luke. "Luke, I'm sorry. I really am." She says.

"I'm not going back to the party. It's clear that the attention isn't on the guests of honor anymore! It's clear that you wanted the attention to be on you!" Luke shouted.

"That's not true. I hate attention." Lucy says.

"It was on you the minute you berated Cuphead in front of all the guests." Luke says.

"Listen, he's been on my nerves. I've been doing everything to tell him to stop, but nothing works." Lucy says. "For once I w-wish he'd take my feelings into account." Lucy says.

"He tries to celebrate your birthday, but you always refuse. He spends time with Edwin when you can't. Heck, one time, I watched Cuphead clean your whole house from top to bottom when you were too sick to do it yourself. Ever since then, he's made an effort to see you and Edwin get taken care of. But all you seem to care about are the bad things." Luke says.

"Sorry, it's just me remembering when the kids started trying to be heroes… Cuphead was more than willing for it to happen. Heck, tonight, he planned on sending Edwin on an adventure to keep the legacy going. I-I guess I went overboard." Lucy says, tearing up.

"You need to realize that Cuphead is a hero, too. This is his and Mugman's 18th hero's anniversary. You chose to berate him and humiliate him in front of everyone." Luke says.

Cuphead wasn't happy. Not one bit.

"Wanna go to Smash Manor tomorrow?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah, sure…" Cuphead says, but turns to see Lucy doing a piano performance. He then watched her.

Lucy soon finished. "I'm sorry." Lucy says to Cuphead. Cuphead sniffed, still shedding steamed milk tears.

"Please don't cry…I'm sorry, Cuphead." Lucy says as she got him new comics.

"Yay!" Cuphead says.

Soon, there were piñatas for both brothers.

Cuphead smiled, ready to strike. Mugman smiled and appeared next to him.

Mugman hit his piñata as candy fell. Cuphead struck his piñata, sending candy everywhere.

Luke had walked out of the castle. Lucy noticed and followed him.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

Luke sighed. "Maybe I should cancel my birthweek." He says.

"Not everyone forgets. You say I see the worst, Luke, but you only tend to think the worst of people. We're not going to forget. I work hard to make sure your birthweeks are perfect." Lucy says.

Luke sniffed. "It's not going to get here." He says. "Why bother being excited at all?"

"And then we apologized." Savannah says.

"So that means we live right?" Chrissy asked.

Mugman decided to end the anniversary party, but Margo emerged with the cake Luke and Chalice worked very hard on. Mugman gasped at the sight of it. It was a treasure chest cake with chocolate coins and edible jewels in it and a white chocolate plaque of the cups dressed as pirates. Eighteen candles were in the pirate-themed cupcakes Chalice made. The cake read "18 Years Of Swashbucklin', Fightin', and Adventurin'! We Love You, Cuppy and Mugsy!"

Leni lit the candles as everyone began to sing to the cup brothers. Cuphead wished to win ANH and Mugman wished for Luke to be happy as they blew out the candles on their cake together.

This makes Peach think about giving Mario and Luigi a hero anniversary. She gets to planning.

Meanwhile, the cosmic buddies were celebrating.

"We did it! And November 12 is our hero anniversary!" Delta says.

"Luke more likely won't attend." Savannah says. "He's dealing with a ton of stuff right now."

"When is he not depressed?" Alem tuber says, stepping on his brother's back.

"Quit abusing your brother." Savannah says.

"Only when he gets to Luke's level of depression." Alem tuber says.

With Aria, they finished trick or treating and were eating candy.

"Clover, are you OK?" Jackson asked.

Clover shook and just buried her head in Sam's chest.

"Clover?" Aria asked.

"She's traumatized!" Luna shouted. "You pulled her into this hero stuff that you know you aren't old enough to do! She's gotten hurt three times because of it!"

"Correction, we only did this 4 times. Last night we saved everyone from a fire, then got a news interview." Aria says.

"She got hurt three times!" Luna shouted.

"Heroes have to get hurt sometimes." Aria says.

"Clover is going to have a childhood!" Luna screamed.

Soon, everyone was getting ready for bed.

Clover sniffed in the shower, seeing wounds all over her. Sam saw how sad she was.

"Clover…" Sam says.

Soon, Clover got ready for bed.

At the manor, Luke had nothing to say.

"He's really wanting his birthweek." Lucy says.

"It better be perfect or I'll execute all of you!" Luke screamed. He was also angry that there wouldn't be an execution on the final day of his birthweek, which angered him more. He then stomped away.

Charity finds him. Luke sits by his window in his room, fuming.

"Honey…" Charity says to Luke.

Luke just feels angry that his plans for the final day of his birthweek were tampered with.

"Why don't you just execute them, anyway?" Lola asked. "You can do whatever you want."

Luke just stared at the ground.

"They'll just want to fight. I don't want to do that." Luke says.

"Then steal their powers." Lola says.

"That's a thing?" Luke asked.

"What about binding scarves?" Lola asked. "They won't be able to fight back."

"That could work. But they'll find a way to break free or call for help." Luke says. He was determined to make sure that wouldn't happen.
