The winds grazed through the forestry of Route 16, Red resting by one of the trees as he watched his Pokemon playing with each other while Luxio, Meowth and Beedrill lie beside him. "I wonder what are you going to be. You've been moving for a while now…"

'It may almost be time.' He thought as he traced his fingers along the egg before he closed his eyes, taking in the gentle breeze that lightly hit his face as he ruffled Luxio's fur. He then checked his Pokegear, looking through an article of the Pallet Academy fire incident.

"Seriously, what happened?" He thought aloud, taking off his gloves which showed his charred hands, much to the surprise of his Pokemon. 'What happened to your hands?'

"It's ok. I...I..." Red paused, trying to think and focus before he looked to the ground in defeat. "I don't know, honestly. That's what I'm trying to find out."

'Take it easy.' Luxio said, the lynx putting a paw on the teen's shoulder, the teen massaging his temples as he took one last look on the article. "I checked the articles twice but no clues. I can't remember anything. Just what am I missing?"

He thought for a while until his Pokegear sprang to life, hitting him in the face as he sees Virus on his screen. "What's wrong, Virus? You got something?"

'Bzzt! Affirmative. Found more cases on Pallet Academy accident. Bzzt!' The Porygon said before it changed the screen, Red seeing something as Virus went to another newspaper website which the teen read until he got frustrated upon finding nothing. "This is getting nowhere. I'm trying to remember that incident but nothing is coming up. All I keep remembering is I saw a man outside near the furnace, he had a Pokemon. He and I had a...Pokemon battle? But I never had a Pokemon and it was not Pokemon Rental Day and it wasn't Mom's. How did I have a Pokemon?"

'Do you remember what the Pokemon was?' When Meowth asked him this, Red started to feel an intense course of pain through his head but unlike last time, the pain was not as unbearable as his eyes starts to glow. 'What's happening? This hurt much worse the other day when Mr. Green checked my brain.'

"No...I...don't." He could barely word out until he held his head in his hands. 'My eyes feel like they're gonna pop out of my skull but I gotta pull through. C'mon."

Red saw the fire that happened, the destruction caused, he saw his hands being burnt and bloody and covered in splinters. He remembered being surrounded by flames. He heard screams and yells in the air which made him clutch his head as he started to feel pain.

'RED!'

"Wha?" Red jolted up, seeing Meowth hanging from his face with a look of concern. The pain in his head started to slowly subside as he looked to the ground, his Pokemon sharing expressions of shock as he held his aching head with a shaky smile. "I'm ok. I'm...alright."

'Are you sure?' Red was caught off guard by this until he touched his face, feeling something that made him surprised as he looked at his hand to see tears. "Oh..."

He was crying.

'I guess it's painful. I wonder.' He thought while wiping his face as he checked his diary while he typed his thoughts. After a while of silence and getting no more results, he decides it is time to leave until he suddenly heard a loud roar, his Pokemon being sent back into their capsules, much to his shock before he got tackled into a tree as he feels the wind knocked out of him. "What the hell?"

Wheezing at the impact he received, he stood up and looked in front of him until he squinted his eyes.

"Devin." He said, seeing the silver haired teen who had his foot on top of the egg, a sinister grin on his face as he laid his foot on it which made Red's body flare with anger as he starts to get up. "I wouldn't move if I were you. Scrambled eggs aren't always good in the morning."

"Devin, stop!" Red tried his best to calm himself as he took one last inhale and then continued. "Just leave the egg alone. What is your problem?"

"You! You're the problem! I don't know why everyone treats you like a hero!" The silver haired teen said angrily, putting more pressure unto the egg as Red tapped his shadow, his grin turning into a scowl as he started complaining. "They don't know you, you damn devil! You must've brainwashed them, didn't you? Huh? They wouldn't be crazy enough to follow you. You're a killer. And nothing more."

"Devin, let it go." Red sighed, getting a laugh from his silver haired assailant who lifted his foot off the egg, much to Red's relief before he heard Devin again. "Why should I when I'm right? There's nothing heroic about you. Never was, never will. You will never change."

"I can't change, huh? That's rich coming from you. You're the last person who should be telling anyone that." As he said that, Red's shadow immediately enlarges which resulted in a hand grabbing the egg and returning it to him, the teen letting out a sigh of relief as he cradled it. His reunion was cut short when Devin attacked him again which was stopped by Dusclops' Shadow Punch. "What's the point of all this, Devin? Don't you think something has been weird about that accident? I know how much you-"

"Don't. You. Dare. Say her name." Devin said, Red could almost see the toxic oozing from his words as he thought about his options until they heard voices from the trainers around which made the silver haired teen clicking his teeth. "Don't think this is over. I'll never forgive you."

"Devin. I-" Red was cut off when he saw Devin left on his Fearow, the teen glaring at him as he went back to Celadon. Throughout the day, Red trained with Leaf and Kim remembering Devin's words until it was nighttime, the teen stargazing as he reminisced on his past until he noticed something from his peripheral vision.

"What on earth is that?" Before he could do anything, Red was tackled by a bird, the creature taking him through the city until he was thrown into the ground.

"Crap! I need to get out of this!" He gritted his teeth, about to take out a Pokeball. He could not get the chance when he was suddenly thrown into the ground, the collision knocking the wind out of him. Getting up from the ground and feeling a massive ache on his back, Red looked around to see himself surrounded by piles of junk and old cars and machinery. 'A junkyard?'

While he walked around, the teen then saw the Pokemon that took him up descending beside someone, his expression hardened when he saw Devin leaning on a damaged car in front of him.

"Red..."

"Devin..."

"Hope you enjoyed the little ride Fearow gave you." Devin smirked before he noticed the serious expression on Red's face which slightly unnerve him. "Devin…I understand how you feel but trust me when I saw-"

Red could not continue when a blast went past him, freezing the entrance of the junkyard behind him. Looking behind him, he then noticed the place starting to get cold as an intense snowstorm forming around the place. Within minutes, the entire place was covered in snow, Red's body shivering until he noticed Devin getting off the car and taking up a bat with a scowl on his face. "Just looking at your face pisses me off. I'm gonna put an end to that…permanently."

"It's just like last time." Red said as he looked at the silver haired teenager who glared at him. 'That look. He wants to kill me. No doubt about it. Not like this is the first time.'

As he saw the hatred from Devin's green orbs, it reminded him of the stares he received as a kid. The stares of anger and disgust from the citizens of Pallet Town and Viridian City. Red could vividly remember them, those terrible memories but as he faced Devin in the chilly snowstorm that travelled through the junkyard, he recognized something while he straightened his back.

'I'm…not scared? I'm not scared.' He thought as he straightened his hair and held out a Pokeball with a defiant expression on his face before letting out a sigh. "I was gonna ask you to stop but it's not like you care, right?"

This response made Devin raise a brow until he looked into Red's eyes. 'The hell happened to him? The bastard should be shaking in his boots like a Pichu but this...'

Both trainers had a stare down, silence filling the air before Devin commanded his Vulpix to unleash a huge of wave of ice that nearly covered the entire entrance, Devin being surprised when his enemy suddenly vanished. "How did he? Wait, that damn shadow from this morning."

Meanwhile, Red took refuge behind one of the garbage piles, thanking his Dusclops before he thought about his options. "He's surprisingly gung-ho about this. And he froze the entrance. Honestly, What a time to not have my slingshot. Alright then. How about this?"

"C'mon, Red! The hell happened to all that bravado? You're not making this fun!" Red heard Devin say as the silver haired teen fired a few more Ice Beam. After a few more blasts, Red then noticed a flash of light that destroyed the dumpster near him. "So going for another approach? Alright."

Red was about to make a run for it until a blast froze part of his arm before another grazed his face.

"Hey, Red! C'mon out! No one likes a coward! Gi-" Before Devin could continue, his Vulpix got hit by a huge fireball that rocketed it into a wall, the snow in the area starting to slowly melt which made him confused. "What the? Snow Warning was stopped?"

He could not get the chance to think when he was once again attacked, barely dodging a fireball as he tried his best to find his opponent. After a while of evading the fireballs, he then let Vulpix release a wave of ice which stopped the flames, much to his delight.

"How do you like that bas-" Devin then noticed another barrage of fireballs coming at him from above, running behind a wall with a frustrated look before he turned to his Pokemon. "Use Dig. We need to find where that bastard is."

The white fox quickly burrowed into the ground, Devin searching the area as well as he gripped his bat.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the field behind a broken-down car, Red watched Devin walk around the place as his Vulpix was on lookout for anything behind him after his shadow left and went towards the junkyard entrance. 'His Vulpix's gotten stronger. So far, she has Ice Beam and Dazzling Gleam. At least, thanks to Drought, I don't have to deal with those absurd icebergs. I'm gonna need to stall until Dusclops comes back with the rest of my team.'

He then heard something behind him, about to call Vulpix until he saw Devin's Pokemon coming out of the ground as it charged a blast. "Oh no! Flame Burst!"

Both foxes shot their respective attacks that created an explosion which Devin noticed, a grin appearing on his face before he bolted towards the direction. "Found you."

Meanwhile, Red commanded his Vulpix to dodge a Dazzling Gleam with Extrasensory before firing a barrage of fireballs that the Alolan Vulpix dodged until it was trapped made a ring of fire. "Nice! Alright, Fla-"

Suddenly he ducked under a bat, seeing Devin going for another strike which he evaded before he went for a kick to his shin before taking the opportunity to make some distance. Red was about to punch Devin until he heard a cry, seeing his Pokemon get hit by Dig and then getting slowly frozen by Ice Beam. "Heat up the ground with Flame Burst!"

As he dodged another swing, the red eyed trainer tackled Devin into a trash pile, seeing Vulpix unleashing an intense wave of fire which made its opponent come out of the ground, taking the chance to hit it with a Flame Burst. "Nice!"

The Ice type then used Ice Beam to create icy platforms on the walls to avoid its fiery counterpart's attacks until Red made it unleash another Flame Burst that melted the platforms, making the white fox lose its balance and fall off them. Not missing a beat, he quickly commanded his Vulpix to attack with Hex before he saw Devin trying to fight the fox with his bat while making his own order. "Ice Beam!"

"Flame Burst!"

Both foxes then shot their respective attacks, resulting in a clash which the Ice type is slowly winning as its blast started to freeze parts of the its orange fox's body. During the clash, Red dodged a swing from Devin before knocking the bat out of his grip. Devin did not back down as he went for a punch which Red blocked before landing a strike to his gut which made him fall to the ground. During this and seeing their trainers fight, the flames from Red's Vulpix getting hotter before the flames which helped it to overpower Devin's Pokemon and defeated it, much to Red's delight as he ran to the fox. "Nice Vulpix! You learned Flamethrower and won. Are you ok?"

He could not get the chance to check its injuries when he barely avoided a barrage of liquid acid, turning to see it melting the car. "What the? Acid?"

Dashing through the junkyard and dodging the attacks for a while, Red took a moment to catch his breath until he quickly made Vulpix shoot a Flamethrower against a bolt of electricity that created an explosion that pushed him back, the teen looking up to see a huge yellow eel on top of a vehicle.

"An Eelektrik?" Red questioned, immediately having to dodge a swipe of its tail before it wrapped itself around his leg then slam him into a car which angered Vulpix.

'Leave him alone!' She yelled as she fought against the Electric-type, her attacks being dodged by the eel. While the two fought, Red slowly got up, feeling an ache at the wound on his neck until he saw a shadow behind him, avoiding a chair being thrown at him before he noticed Devin lunging at him. "C'mon, Red. Don't you wanna kick back with your old pal?"

"No thanks." Red answered, picking up stones and then throwing them towards Devin and his Pokémon. Taking advantage of her stunned opponent, Vulpix unleashed a Flamethrower which made the two retreat.

"Damn! What the hell?" The silver haired trainer yelled while he avoided the flames. Seeing Red, he immediately dashed towards him to attack him. "FIRES!"

Dodging Devin strikes, Red quickly retaliated with a punch to his opponent's stomach before grabbing him by the collar and slamming him into a bus which knocked the wind out of the silver haired boy. The raven-haired teen was about to continue until Vulpix collided into him which sent the two flying into a nearby vehicle, Red looking down to see the Fire type twitching uncontrollably.

"Vulpix!" He shouted, checking on its wounds until he blocked a kick from Devin, grabbing his foot as Vulpix hopped on his shoulder to charge a blast. Seeing Red's glare at him frightened Devin, the silver haired teen commanding his Eelektrik to attack the teen but it was hit by Vulpix's Flamethrower which sent the eel into him.

"That bastard. I'm gonna-"

"Duck." Devin could barely notice Red dashing towards him, dodging a swing from the metal pole the ravenette was holding which made him smile until he heard the sound of a collision. Looking up, his eyes widened when he realized that Eelektrik was hit by the weapon before he quickly went for his opponent's feet. His attack was dodged when Red jumped onto the side of a car then spun around and land a kick to his face before letting Vulpix hit his Pokemon with another Flamethrower.

"Doesn't feel good, does it? Getting kicked in your face and eating the dirt?" Red said which angered Devin who turned to him as he was walking away. The silver haired teen gritted his teeth until he ran towards them, noticing a wave of fire coming towards him which was stopped by his Eelektrik, the attack burning the eel and knocking Devin back into a wall.

"You're not running away from me again." The silver haired teen said as he got up, returning his Pokemon before he hurled another ball in the air. "You coward."

Taking a safe distance from Devin, Red tended to an injured Vulpix until he felt the ground shaking, hearing loud footsteps coming his way before one of the vehicles was thrown into the air. "Oh boy."

"Where's the bastard?" He heard Devin shout before he saw another vehicle sent into a wall, seeing the teen riding a Camerupt. "Come out! Come out!"

Being able to finish tending Vulpix and returning it, Red searched the place for another weapon until he felt the place shaking. Before he could get time to check, Camerupt busted through the mountain of junk behind him which made Red have to run as the Pokemon give chase. "Fight me like a man, Red."

'Says the guy who is riding on a huge Pokemon.' Red mentally replied as he maneuvered through the junkyard. He then took a turn, climbing a mountain of cars, checking for his foe to see the two of them charging towards him before he jumped off to another pile when they collided into it. Frustrated by Red running away from him, Devin made Camerupt slam its hooves on the ground which caused a huge earthquake that made Red lose his balance and fall off the garbage pile. Before the raven-haired teenager could get up, he saw the Fire and Ground type shoot a release a stream of lava that hit him which made Devin smile.

"Hehehe! Finally! Man, he was a pain!" He laughed happily as he patted his Camerupt. "Nice, Camerupt."

As he continued laughing, bubbles started to float in the air, cooling down the lava. After a while, Devin noticed them when he saw them around him and Camerupt which made him raise a brow.

"The hell is this?" He said as he went to pop one of them, the bubble exploding on his arm much to his surprise. "Ouch! The fuck? The shit felt like I got hit by a paint gun pellet. Damn!"

After he felt the pain subsided, his eyes widened in horror when he realized his situation around him. "If that one bubble was that painful, then this is…oh no. Camerupt, run!"

The camel immediately started running only to get shot by a barrage of bullets that knocked it into the bus, making Devin fall off its back as they both look at the direction of the attack to see Red and Poli on an ice platform.

"How the fuck did you survive that? That's lava!" Devin said in disbelief, Red giving him a mocking smile before his shadow started moving which made him angry as he yelled. "Camerupt! Cook him up with Lava Plume!"

Camerupt used the move, the bubbles slowing it down which gave Red enough time to dodge it before retaliating with Bubble Beam. This continued for a while as both traded blasts until Camerupt went on the offensive and started chasing Red who made Poli stop it with a wall of ice. During this, Red had to dodge a punch from Devin, the two engaging in a fist fight.

"C'mon, Red. We both know that you're just a-" Devin was cut off when he took a punch to the face by Red which dazed him before Red tackled him into a bus. During their bout, Red told his Pokemon to hold off the Fire type while he evaded a kick, the tadpole obeying as it stopped the camel with Bubble Beam.

'What the hell is this? When the hell did he learn to fight like this?' Devin said as he punched Red in the face, smiling when he was about to go for another jab but it was blocked, Red countered him by landing a strike to his stomach. As Devin tried to go for a kick, he was quickly rewarded with a punch to his nose that made him dizzy before two others followed that knocked him to the ground. 'Fuck! I never realized it until now but damn, his punches fucking hurt.'

"That all you got?" Devin taunted as he got up, throwing a few more punches which Red avoided until he received an uppercut which made him lose his balance. Groaning in pain and holding his chin, the silver haired teenager lifts his gaze to see his raven-haired opponent approaching him. Suddenly, Camerupt busted through the junk pile beside them and tackled Red that sent him into a vehicle, causing him to wheeze before he jumps out of the way of another Take Down.

"Ok. Note: don't get hit again!" Red barely worded as Poli came to him, the two avoiding Camerupt. After a while of avoiding the Fire type, he then climbed unto a car and made Poli use Bubble Beam that was able to blind it which made it crash into a wall. Seeing Camerupt stuck, Red made Poli froze its feet before firing another barrage of bubbles that took it down.

'How? You weren't even that good in Pokemon battles.' Gritting his teeth in rage, Devin uses a Revive on his Pokemon before he had it melt all the obstacles in the area and erupted a ring of lava to trap Red. He then made the camel charge at the raven-haired trainer, its stride completely stopped by Poli's Hypnosis before the Fire type was knocked out again by Bubble Beam.

"Why don't you just die?!" Devin shouted angrily after reviving his Camerupt only for the Pokemon to be defeated when Red climbed a pile of cars and skillfully jumped over it before Poli knocked it over with Low Kick and then froze it. This continued for a while until Devin went into a fit of rage, tackling Red into a car and pummeling Red until he received a kick to the stomach.

'I can't get around him. It's infuriating.' He thought as he saw Camerupt's Lava Plume being stopped by Poli's Ice Beam which created steam. He then noticed that Red has disappeared before some rocks came his way, him dodging them until one connected to his forehead.

"Fuck! Take Down!" The silver haired teen shouted, his anger rising when another stone hit him in the face which made him throws a pipe which misses Red before he noticed Camerupt charging towards him. "C'mon. Crush him."

Red, on the other hand, turn to the Fire type and stood defiantly as it came towards him until he starts smiling. "Just a little closer."

Devin did not notice the absence of Poli, bubbles started to surround Camerupt as it got closer to Red. His eyes then started to widen when he noticed them before seeing the smile on Red's face which made him desperately shout his next move. "Get the hell out of there, Camerupt!"

It was too late when the camel was surrounded by bubbles, Devin was about to return it until he saw Red aiming his fingers at Camerupt. "Bang!"

The bubbles immediately exploded around the Pokemon, everyone watching the Fire and Ground type fall to the ground, unconscious. Seeing his Pokemon fainted, Devin's eye started twitching before he glared at Red who was patting Poli. "Damn you! Why are you so strong?"

"I trained." Red answered flatly before he sighed. "Devin, will you listen to me?"

"Shut up! Shut the hell up!" Devin shouted, Eelektrik immediately popped out from one of the garbage piles and attacked Poli. "Poli-"

"Don't you fucking move, devil!" Devin shouted, his Eelektrik electrocuting the tadpole before draining its energy, much to Red's dismay. "Stop it, Devin!"

Tightening its grip around Poli, the eel continued its electrical assault on Poli, Red's eyes widened in horror when he saw blood trickling from the tadpole when the eel started to sink its fangs into it.

"Noo!" Blinded by worry, he gripped the pipe with all his strength as he dashed towards Eelektrik until Devin blocked his way, both their weapons slamming into each other as Red tries to push him away.

"Move out of my way! You're killing him!"

"Tough shit! I told you not to move! As long as you die! Up the ante, Eelektrik!"

Red sneakily took out his Pokeball to return the Pokemon but failed when the eel moved out of the way as it continued to electrocute its opponent. The teen then stepped on Devin's foot, getting the opportunity to shove him out of the way as he tried the capsule again. He was about to lunge towards Eelektrik until Poli started glowing.

"Poli?" The raven haired trainer muttered as the tadpole began to change, arms growing from it that grabbed onto the eel. Devin watched the scene in disbelief before he noticed his Pokemon becoming frozen, the eel struggling against the attack until the hands crushed the ice.

"Get the fuck outta there, quick!" He yelled, Eelektrik able to escape as it slithered back to him. Approaching Poli as it stopped glowing, Red noticed that the Pokemon is now a Poliwhirl who looked at him in confusion. 'Uhh, Red. Why do you look smaller?'

"You evolved, Poli!" Red cheered excitedly before he went to tending Poli's wounds while keeping his eyes on Devin. After he is finished, the tadpole immediately fall to the ground which did not go unnoticed by Red when he saw its limbs starting to shake. 'The evolution process puts a lot of strain on him. The attack it took did not help either. He's gonna need time getting adjusted to his new body.'

About to return the Pokemon, Red was immediately caught off guard by Eelektrik who knocked the capsule out of his hand before sinking its fangs into his neck, the teen screaming in pain as it started electrocuting him. Watching Red struggle against his Pokemon's attack, Devin picked up a bat from one of the cars before approaching the red eyed teen who was trying to get to his Pokeball.

"Sad, isn't it?" He grinned, stomping on Red's arm after Eelektrik stopped using Discharge before he pointed the bat at Red's face. "This brings back old memories."

"That's where I disagree. Ice Beam!" Devin forgot about the Pokemon behind him, barely avoiding a wave of ice shards which froze the bottom part of Eelektrik's body, making it retreat. Red did not waste time when he recalled the Pokemon, seeing Devin going for a swing which connected to his face, making him slightly dizzy. Tapping his shadow, his eyes started glowing before his shadow unleashed a powerful shockwave that knocked back Devin and his Pokemon.

"Shit! Ouch! The hell was that?" Devin cursed under his breath while getting up, searching the place only to realize that Red is gone. "That motherfucker!"

Meanwhile, Red picks up a metal pipe while his Dusclops phases through a wall behind him. "Can you check for their location please?"

'Yes, master. Eelektrik is moving right now.' The Ghost type informed him as he dusted his black shirt until he looked behind him, gesturing the phantom into the ground. Suddenly, a tail emerged from the vehicle which Red dodged before he looked into the air, seeing Eelektrik as it started charging electricity. Red quickly threw a metal pipe in the air as it unleashed a bolt of lightning, smiling when the blast redirected itself and hit the pipe. "Took a big risk there."

'You won't be lucky again.' The eel said as it quickly lunged forward towards Red who braced himself before pointed up. Suddenly, a barrage of black fist projectiles came from the ground and repeatedly pummeled the Electric type before the last one send it flying into the air. 'Bullseye.'

As Eelektrik fell to the ground, it got up and lunged towards Red only to be stopped by Dusclops who it viciously fought against, Red helping Dusclops as much as he could until he avoided a hammer being thrown at him. "There you are, bastard!"

"Give me a break..." Red muttered while ducking from another swing before landing a strike to his gut which made him descend to the ground. Hearing sounds in the distance, Eelektrik quickly approaches the raven haired teen with a ball of electricity in its mouth which made Devin smile. 'Now you're done!'

Standing in front of them, Red snapped his fingers which made the orb disappeared, much to Devin and Eelektrik's shock. "Where's the attack, Eelektrik? What the fuck just happened?"

Taking their shock to his advantage, he quickly swung the pipe with all his might across the eel's face, the sound of the collision echoing through the junkyard. He then snapped his fingers which made Eelektrik get battered by a barrage of Shadow Punch from Dusclops before it was grabbed by the neck and slammed onto the floor.

Devin desperately went for his Pokeball but it was too late when Dusclops threw the Electric type towards him, the teen feeling a lot of rage as he glared at Red. He then clenched his teeth in frustration after seeing the glint from the teen's crimson orbs that made his stomach turn. 'Those damn eyes! Those fucking eyes! I hate those eyes! I hate him! I HATE HIM!'

"Why...? Why?" Devin gritted his teeth, sending a hateful glare at his opponent before he started spewing curse words. "Why did you have to fucking live? Why is it fucking you?! Why did Nia have to go? Why are you still fucking alive? Why won't you just die?"

As Devin continued shouting, Red's gaze descended to the floor as he felt guilt and frustration. "Devin. Have you ever checked on the incident?"

"Why should I? You did it! You killed them because you're a fucking demon! A damn devil! You need to die, demon!" The raven haired teen felt frustrated when Devin continued, returning his Eelektrik before getting up and grabbing Red by his collar. Seeing the stare he was getting made Red look to the ground with a melancholic expression. He was getting tired of those glares. The glares that looked at him with disgust as they falsely criticized him for years. All of them insulting him as they bullied him but most of all. That word.

Demon.

Red could barely hold his anger when he grabbed Devin's arm and made him let go of his collar. "Alright, say if I really did kill those people. Why would I stay there if you all hated me? Why would I take all those insults for so many damn years?! Why would I have stayed in Pallet Town?!"

Devin could not mumble an answer when he sees Red's face, the anger present in his eyes before he was shoved back.

"Do you absolutely think that I would stay and get bullied for all those years, huh?! I hated it! Every moment of it! All of my hard work pushed to someone else! Being judged for every step I take! Being bullied for the fact that my eyes look weird! I wanted it all to end! I wanted you all to believe me! You all even saw me in different places at the same time and yet no one found it odd! You were just glad to have a reason to hate me!" Red's fists are clenched as he yelled, his eyes glowing intensely and his nails digging in his skin as he continued.

"Trust me…" He then took a breath, glaring at Devin as he stood up. "I would rather die than go through that again."

Silence took control as Devin watched Red released Clefairy who readied itself while he walked to one of the cars and checked his injuries. The silver haired teen lifted a brow when he sees the teen folding his arms in front of him. "What are you doing?"

"You wanted a battle, right? Let's finish this." He answered calmly while removing Clef's weights. Devin gripped his bat and dashed towards only to be stopped when Clef punched the ground which caused piles of junk to stop him from getting close.

"Don't even bother. I'm just tired..." Red said, Devin sneered as he released Lycanroc. "So you evolved? I didn't want to meet you again."

'Same here but too bad. You survived last time but you're going to die now.' The Rock type growled before it immediately vanished, Red and Clef looking around until Red noticed the Pokemon above him. He barely avoided its slash and then gestured his Clefairy to use Brick Break, the Pokemon receiving a punch to the face. Devin watched in shock as Lycanroc was sent through a car before Clef grabbed it and slammed it into another vehicle. Getting up, the Pokemon growled wildly as it bared its fangs at Red. The wolf then dashed towards them using Crush Claw that clashed with Clef's Mega Kick before the Fairy type grabbed its face as Red made a command.

"Meteor Mash!" Clef clenched his fist, an intense cosmic aura swirling around it until its whole hand transformed into a rocky-like iron as it punched Lycanroc before the move disappear mid strike, much to Red and Clefairy's horror. "Uh oh."

Lycanroc then immediately went on the offensive by slashing the pink fairy with Crush Claw before tackling it with an Accelrock, Clefairy able to hold its own by blocking its attacks with Brick Break.

"Lycanroc, Double Team!"

"Metronome!"

The orange wolf quickly creates mirages of itself around Clef who stands still and he twiddles his fingers, stopping which made a blue sphere appearing in his hands before he sees one of the mirages glowing as it takes aim. It then shot the attack which hit Lycanroc, the blast rocketing it into a wall, dispersing the illusions.

"Fuck! This is what I hate about this bastard!" Devin clicked his teeth as his Pokemon tried attacking but it was met with a Mega Kick to the chin and then a Swift that stopped the orange wolf's Double Team. He then tried again only to fail when Red made the pink fairy hurl the junk around the place which knocked the mirages before sped forward and land a strike. As the battle continued, both combatants traded heavy blows with each other, Devin tried to hit Red only to be stopped by Clef who slammed Lycanroc to the ground before spinning around and landing a Mega Kick.

"Damn, hold him with Bite!" Devin commanded, his Pokemon immediately locked its jaws on Clefairy's hand, much to Red's concern when he saw blood coming from it when it started biting harder.

"Meteor Mash on the hand and take it out quickly!" He commanded desperately, Clef's hand starts hardened before it lifts the orange wolf. Veins appeared on his body, the Fairy type slamming it on the ground as it formed a fist with its other hand.

'Let go of my arm!' Clef yelled as it punched Lycanroc which sent it flying into a car, much to Devin's surprise. "The fuck?"

The two then continue trading blows for a while, the two landing a final strike towards each other which knocked them to the ground. As they both struggled to stand, Lycanroc and Clef then made a final clash which knocked them back until they sped forward once again.

"Accelrock!"

"Metronome!"

Both Pokemon sprinted towards each other, Lycanroc showing to be much faster until Clef's fingers starts glowing. At the moment its fingers stopped, the pink fairy readied itself before it vanished, surprising everyone.

"Crush Claw!"

"Brick Break!"

Before long, a collision echoed through the junkyard, Red and Devin looking in disbelief as both Pokemon suffered a powerful strike, the two standing still until Lycanroc fell to the ground, Clef barely able to stand until it soon followed, resulting in a tie.

"Fuck!" Devin punched the wall as he returned his Pokemon, Red doing the same before he sees the silver haired teen running towards him with a bat in anger.

"Devin, just fight normally." Red said, dodging his swings until he took out one of his Pokeballs which he threw behind him, looking up to see a blue shrimp with an oversized pincer pointing at him.

'A Clauncher?' The raven haired trainer thought before receiving a punch from Devin before he countered with a kick to the shin, avoiding Clauncher's water bullets before taking refuge behind a car. "That Clauncher is no joke, the bullets hits almost as hard as Milotic's."

On the other side of the pile was Devin who was about to go around and attack Red until he felt a sting on his cheek, rubbing it to see blood on his hand. "How? Clauncher?"

He turned to see a Meowth in front of him with an unconscious Clauncher beside it as it hissed at him. Seeing its glowing eyes in the darkness, Devin ran towards the feline, using a Revive on the crustacean which made it continue the fight as it tried to hold its own against the cat. During this, Devin had to witnessed in disbelief when his Clauncher's Aqua Jet was getting easily stopped by Meowth's claws.

"Damn it!" He said, throwing down a Smoke Ball and calling Clauncher to him before dashing through the junkyard while searching for Red, releasing the crustacean on a high vintage point while doing so. Seeing the Pokemon take aim, the teen smiled turns to a grin as he look towards the direction. 'There you are.'

"Water Pulse"

Meanwhile, Red tried his best to avoid the bullets until he picked up a piece of glass and flashed a light at the Water type which blinded it, making him barely avoid a Flash Cannon that barely grazed his leg. "Wooooaaahhh! That was close!"

'Not on my watch!' Meowth said, knocking the Pokemon into a pile of garbage while dodging a swing from Devin who clicked his teeth. Meanwhile, Red moved around the place until he was hit by an Aurora Beam, seeing Alolan Vulpix in the distance.

"Why am I even surprised?" Red muttered as he dodged the fox's attacks, a piece of glass barely grazing him before hearing Devin's laughter. "Just do us all a favor and die!"

About to throw another Pokemon, Red then saw Vulpix about to use Dazzling Gleam but it was stopped by Meowth who slammed its claws into the fox.

'Seriously, two opponents? This is getting interesting.' The cat smirked before throwing the fox towards Red which made it get hit by a Flash Cannon, knocking it out. Red then noticed something from the distance before he grabbed Meowth, barely avoiding a barrage of bullets. "Darn! That Clauncher's trouble. Meowth, use Aerial Ace to look for him."

'Got it!' Meowth's eyes slits became smaller as she looks around the place, finding it as Red climbs on top of a car. 'Nice!'

"Lightning Hair Ball!" He commanded which made Meowth blush as she coughed an electrical ball of hair that cancelled Clauncher attack then hit it, the hair entangling around it and electrocuting it. 'That is so embarrassing!'

While she lunged towards the Water type, Red ducking under a swing from Devin before Lycanroc bit on his arm, drawing blood from his hand as he tried hitting it with the metal pipe in his hand. "Let go! Let go!"

One of his Pokeballs opened, releasing Luxio who struck the wolf in the face with Night Slash, making Lycanroc release its fangs from Red's arm before the teen had to avoid a stone. He then once again engaged in a fight with Devin, the teen able to land a punch to his face, about to continue his assault until the junk pile behind him get destroyed by a water bullet.

"Huh?" Red said as he felt a bit dizzy, not getting the chance to react when he felt an intense pain in his gut. "Ow! What the? I feel sick."

As he touched his torso, he felt something as he lifted his hand, seeing his hand completely red with blood before he saw a wound on his stomach. Trying his best to stay calm, he felt to the ground and clutch his stomach as he started coughing the red liquid. 'Oh, it hurts. It freaking hurts!'

He could not get time to do anything when Devin smacked him in the face with a bat, the teen about to get up until Meowth flew into him, much to his dismay. "Meowth! Are you ok?"

He could not get the chance to check when Clauncher shot him into a car with Water Pulse, battered him with water bullets which made him unable to move. Red's body felt like it was on fire as he tried struggling against the attack, his eyes hurting when he tried looking through the water.

"How about that? I think I caught a putty cat!" He heard Devin say before seeing him raising an unconscious Meowth by her tail before slamming her onto a car repeatedly while laughing maniacally. "How's that? How does it feel, Red?"

Seeing this made Red angry as he went for the cat's capsule, screaming a command to her.

"Thunderbolt!"

Devin then noticed Meowth starting to glow before it let out a burst of electricity that hit the group, knocking out Lycanroc and Clauncher along with giving Red the chance to return it. Seeing what happened, Devin quickly released Camerupt and command it to use Lava Plume that was stopped by Luxio's Discharge, Red taking the chance to escape as his body ran on adrenaline. Running away from the fight, Red stepped back as Lycanroc attacked him, his shadow punching the wolf in its face and then slamming it to the ground. "Nice job, Dusclops."

This was short lived when the Rock type quickly bit Dusclops' hand and pulling it out of Red's shadow, the teen trying his best to stay focused and ignore his wounds while commanding his Pokemon. Taking out one of his Pokeballs, he was caught off guard when Devin sprinted to him and smacked the capsule out of his grasp. "No no no. We can't have you winning no-"

Red kicked him away as he dashed towards his Pokeball, able to get the ball which made him smile. "Alright now."

His eyes widened when he saw a pincer in front of him, Clauncher charging a Water Pulse. Within a second, Luxio appeared right behind it and used Discharge which weakened the shrimp as Red dashed away only to be tackled towards Clauncher by Camerupt. "Crap! I need to move qui-"

A gunshot could be heard throughout the junkyard.

Within a moment, everyone watched with different emotions as Red was sent flying through various piles of junk, his body skidding on the floor until it collided into a wall. Luxio and Dusclops could only watch in shock as their trainer fell, the sound his body made when it hit the floor echoing through the junkyard. Seeing Red's immobile body made Devin pause in disbelief before he started laughing. "Haha…Hahahahahahahahaha!"

He walked towards Red's unconscious form, waving around his bat until he noticed his Pokemon defeated by Luxio who gave him a feral glare as it ran towards him.

"Don't think I don't remember you from the SS. Anne." Devin said before he quickly took up its Pokeball and returned it, pressing the lock mode before he did the same to the rest of Red's Pokemon. "And with that, I don't have to worry about you lot. I figured Red doesn't use this mode since you guys come out of your capsules willy-nilly."

He then looked at Red before he slammed his bat on his head, laughing. "Just like old times, ain't it?"

Another hit followed. "But now. Now I can finally kill you."

Two more hits followed. "I can finally get revenge."

He resumed the assault, his smile unable to grow any bigger and his green glowing until he lifted Red's head from the ground. "Too bad everyone can't see this. Nia's father would have a blast with this. Ever since you and your damn family came to our town, it was a huge shitfest with you having the main role. To think Professor Oak, Blue and that blondie would welcome you despite you looking like a demon. It's all a mystery."

Sounds of the bat hitting Red's body echoed through the quiet junkyard for minutes before Devin took a break.

"I wondered why you didn't die along with your shitty pops! In fact, why don't your mother kill herself as well since she missed him so much and she hates you?" Devin said, laughing heartily as he continued hitting Red with the bat. "No one would miss you."

Suddenly, his weapon was stopped, confusing Devin before he looked down. The moment his eyes lowered their gaze, the teen witnessed something that made his heart fell. What he saw was Red grabbing onto his weapon, his face covered in blood and his eyes bloodshot which made Devin unable to see his expression.

'Holy fuck! What is that?' He desperately tried to pull the bat, rewarded with failure when he saw Red in front of him, making him fall down and quickly crawl back upon seeing his glowing crimson orbs. "What the fuck?"

Quickly taking up his bat, he sprinted towards his silent opponent, wildly swinging his bat at Red who ducked before sending two punches to his gut then ending the assault with an uppercut. Quickly recovering, Devin swung his weapon again but was stopped when Red grabbed his bat then struck him in his face which made him clutch his nose in pain as Red threw away his bat.

"Guh! Fuck! That hurts!" He said, hearing footsteps coming towards him which made his hairs stand on end and his skin having goosebumps. Devin then tried to attack Red who avoided his swings before the raven haired teen dashed forward and flung him over his shoulder, knocking the wind out of him when he was slammed onto the floor.

"Shit! Yo-" Devin could not get the chance to breathe when he received a kick to the gut. Able to get some distance, he barely avoided Red's punch that went through the car window behind him which frightened him. Picking up a piece of wood and bolted forward, his attack was stopped immediately when Red grabbed his wood and then launched a swift strike to the face that made him fall to the ground.

"You-" He was cut off by a kick that sent him rolling back, rubbing his face as he tried to avoid looking into Red's face. He continued trying to attack his silent opponent, frustrated at his misses before he met Red's gaze, having to look away when he noticed his body starting to sweat. 'What is this? What's happening? His eyes...they're...glowing. They're literally glowing.'

Slamming his weapon to the ground, he received a punch to his side by Red before his weapon was kicked away, Devin then hearing Red's eerie voice which made him frightened.

"Try and fight me without your weapons and Pokemon if you're so tough. You used to beat me into a pulp without them so what's wrong now?" Red said calmly, lifting his hands in a boxer stance. Angered by his taunt, Devin dashed forward and landed a punch to Red's face, a smile of victory on his face until he noticed the teen unfazed before he grabbed his arm and pushed him back. "Why don't you try again?"

Devin did as told, failing again before he suffered a devastating jab to his stomach that made him grovel to the floor and vomit. After he finished emptying his stomach, he flinched upon seeing the glowing eyes of Red in the reflection until he spoke. "You're a-"

"I'm a what?" Red interrupted, Devin froze in fear from the anger coming from his voice. "Don't tell me that you're going to go out for the same phrase again? How my eyes are scary? How I'm always by myself? How I'm a monster? A demon? Is that what you want to say?"

"I tried to tell you." Red said, Devin feeling pure fright as he ran away before he was grabbed by the collar by Red. "I tried to tell you."

Devin slaps away his hand before he took out his Pokeball. "I tried to tell you."

Fearow! Kill him with Drill Run!" He threw a ball in the air that released Fearow that immediately flew towards Red, spinning like a drill as the raven haired teen unlocks and lifts a Pokeball then uttered a word. "Discharge!"

The ball opened, a bolt of lightning popping out of it that stopped Fearow before it was bitten by Luxio who flung it to the ground then slamming it to the floor with electricity surging through its paws. Seeing his Pokemon defeated easily, Devin ran away but was stopped when Red glared at him, pure anger radiating from his eyes as he noticed a dark aura forming around him. "I...tried to tell you."

"Get away, you mur-"

"I DIDN'T DO IT!"

Red's voice echoed through the area, making Devin shake in fear and back away as he felt an immense pressure from the teen. Sweating and panting, he desperately retreated as Red walked towards him, his eyes glowing in the dark like a flashlight before he felt something behind him, seeing Luxio glaring at him. "Do I make myself clear?"

Devin gritted his teeth, ignoring his quivering body and the intense headache that he was starting to have as he glared at Red, stuttering while his heart felt like it's about to burst out of his chest. "S-so what? You're g-gonna threaten m-me? You gonna k-kill me if I d-don't believe you?"

Red just stayed quiet, looking at Devin who was laughing before he let out a tired sigh. "Devin. What happened on that day?"

"Huh?" Devin raised a brow at Red's question before the teen repeated himself. "What do you remembered happened at the incident?"

The silver haired teen was confused before he wiped his mouth and started speaking. "It's a regular school day. You were so anxious and happy for some reason and it pissed me off so I kicked your ass but for some dumb ass reason, you wouldn't break. You just...brushed it off. It was annoying so I just left. School ended and you bolted from the class in a hurry. I was hanging out with Nia but she just kept reading in the library. I left to go home because it was boring. Then it happened."

Red's expression got serious when he heard this, his curiosity increasing. 'Here it comes.'

"The explosion happened. Everyone was in panic and I ran to see the school in flames and you in front of it. You were looking at it. You then turned around with a smile on your face. It pissed me off. I couldn't find Nia and Lin anywhere. She was crushed by a pillar. My cousin died from the smoke. I didn't know Lin was even there but they're gone. They're gone because of you."

'So the same thing I remembered, huh?' Red said, his fists tightened as he remembered the screams and shouts that day until he heard Devin punching the ground.

"Why did you do it? Why did you burn the school? Why were you happy? Not a care in the world as you had a lighter in your hand." Hearing this made Red's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Devin in confusion before he shakily said. "What?"

"Yeah. I don't know how but you had all of those and the police didn't believe us. Bastards said you had nothing on you and you were covered in burns and wounds. They even said that your fingerprints were not showing on any of the tanks but we know they must be insane." Devin said, Red noticed his green eyes started to shimmer and glow which made him feel a wave of guilt before he noticed shadows around him. 'What? What is this? Why are his eyes glowing? What's happening?'

Red was confused until he decided to push through the guilt and fear he felt before he started to recall what he remembered this morning, the memories now more clear in his mind. "I...I never had a lighter. My hands were covered in burns...I had splinters. I was crying."

After he said this, Red took off his gloves which made Devin look at them in disbelief before his eyes shone brighter until they turned blue. "What the? You never had those scars and burns, ever?"

"Yeah, I didn't...until the incident." Hearing this, Devin was confused and shocked as he looked to the ground before he gritted his teeth, veins appearing on his forehead. Red then noticed something when his mind started to remember that day, the screams and shouts he heard that used to haunt him returning as he fell to the floor. He remembered all the pain, he remember their glares they sent his way, the beatings they did to him. The names they called him.

"Murderer!"

"Devil!"

"Demon!"

"Why don't you die?!"

Red then saw the shadows approaching him, grabbing him and chaining him to the floor as they all scratched and cursed him. He tried to block out the sound, struggling against the shadow bindings. He was scared, starting to panic with tears slowly coming from his eyes before he remembered something.

Leaf. She said she doesn't believe them, she stood up for him. She wanted to be his friend despite everything that happened. He finally has friends, his Pokemon who are like family to him. It may be small but he finally rekindled his relationship with his mother. He wants to clear his name. He wants to know what happened. He wanted to know about his father's death. He wanted to save Pikachu. He wanted for his Pokemon to prosper.

He was different now.

"Calm down, Red. Just...calm down. I need to be stronger. I have to know what happened." He thought as he calmed himself down, taking deep breaths before he opened his eyes and pulled against his bindings. The teen gritted his teeth as he continued to use all his might, his body riddled with veins as he started to scream.

"Let." He said, some of the shadows slowly being ripped as his arms were slowly getting freed.

"Me." His eyes clenched shut as his hands found some freedom before he pulled harder, ignoring some of the shadows piercing his skin and making him bleed.

"OUTT!" He opened his eyes as they glowed intensely, a wave of energy that blew away the shadows. As everything dispersed and turned to white, the teen fell to the ground and held his head, panting heavily before he looked around.

"I did it." He smiled weakly, succumbing to his exhaustion as he fell to the floor. Red's eyes opened as he looked around, finding himself in the junkyard again, Luxio worriedly shaking him before he noticed the Pokemon. "Luxio?"

'Are you ok? You kinda blanked out there.' The Electric type asked to which Red slowly nodded before he noticed Devin knocked out on the floor. "What happened to him? "Devin, are you ok?"

He ran to him and put a hand on the silver haired teen for his hand to be slapped away, Devin glaring at him, Red noticed his eyes being their natural green color. "Don't you act friendly with me!"

'His eyes are back to normal.' Red thought before he stood up and turned around, leaving Devin who was angry. "Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm leaving. You lost the match." Red said before he continued walking away, hearing laughter from Devin before the silver haired trainer tried getting up. "You think...I'm just gonna let you leave, murderer?'

Red stopped, sighing before he turned with a serious expression on his face. "I didn't do it, Devin."

"Bullshit! I know what I saw! You were..." He paused before he looked down to the ground in shock, grabbing his head as he fell on his knees which made Red confused. "You...were crying and injured? What...what did you do to me? Did you brainwash me too?"

"You saw my team. I had no Psychic Pokemon on me and Dusclops only has Future Sight which is unable to brainwash anyone." Red said, some of the memories from the event now clear in his head, much to his surprise when he feels no headache from evoking those memories. 'It's almost like a seal was lifted on them.'

"Read the article on the accident, Devin. I'm just as surprised as you. I couldn't remember anything from that event but one thing I know." Red said honestly, looking into the night sky and taking out his necklace. "I never killed anyone that night."

"I can't believe you. I won't believe you." Devin said defiantly, realizing that he is unable to get up.

"I don't care what you think. I just needed to get that off my chest. More importantly, you have no more Pokemon and you lost the battle. Plus, I have many questions I need answers to. I will find who did that accident. I'm done looking for your forgiveness. I've got my own life to live." Red said before he walked away, leaving Devin in the junkyard.

As he got to the entrance of the junkyard, Red was in deep thought, something on his mind when he looked at his Pokeballs. 'Did I just unconsciously use Dusclops' move Disable? That shouldn't be possible...right? But, Dusclops was fainted so it couldn't be anything else.'

Red was thinking like this until he noticed something, looking around as Luxio bared its fangs. 'Red...'

"Yeah, I noticed. And I wish someone could give me a break." Red said before he was suddenly attacked by a horde of Pokemon who were quickly defeated by Luxio. After their defeat, Red searched the place until he was hit by a blast that sent him back, the teen struggling to get up while he clutched his wound. "Damn, that hurts."

Looking up, he saw a group of people approaching him, all of them holding bats and pipes as they snickered at him. As Red tried getting up, he heard someone fall next to him, seeing Devin on the ground who is groaning in pain.

"Well, lookie here! Someone on our turf trespassing around!"

"You been makin' a lot of noise, kid!"

As they all gathered around him, a Tyranitar landed in front of them, Devin surprised by the Rock type before he turned to Red who was unfazed, standing tall with his Luxio.

"Well well well." A voice echoed through the street, the two teenagers turning to see someone who was approaching them before he glared at Red, much to Devin's confusion. "Look what the Meowth dragged in. You're the little bastard that almost got me locked up in Cerulean!"

"Shit! Talk about unlucky." Devin cursed under his breath. As he got up and thought about his options, he noticed Dread and Red facing each other until Dread started smirking.

"Let's hope you got insurance, bastard. Life insurance!" Dread said before snapping his fingers, his Tyranitar walked forward with its mouth went ablaze. Seeing the attack, Red made Luxio create a shield of electricity around him, Luxio and Devin which stopped the Flamethrower. Suddenly, a tail came through the shield and slammed into Red and Luxio, sending both of them across the junkyard until they crashed into a vehicle.

"That fricking hurts." Red said as he tried to get up only to be rewarded with failure before he looked up to see Dread and his Tyranitar. The man made his Pokemon go forward which clashed with Luxio's Night Slash before the lynx jumped on the green behemoth's head and unleashed a devastating Discharge.

"Earthquake, Spike!" Hearing Devin's command, Red made his move when Spike tried to shake the lynx off of its body. "Night Slash."

Able to shake off Luxio, Tyranitar got ready to use its move only to be stopped by Luxio as the two traded blows, Red instructing his Pokemon to run around to confuse it. This continued until the Rock type suffered a direct blow from the Electric type which sent it into a garbage pile. As the green behemoth saw Luxio lunging towards it, it fired a powerful Flamethrower, creating a huge fire which Red had to back off against before he uttered one word. "Attack."

Out of the flames leaped Luxio who slashed Spike across the face only to be grabbed by the Armor Pokemon and slammed into the floor, much to Red's shock.

"Let out all of the electricity that you have." Luxio did not wait before it did as told, electrocuting Tyranitar who raised its arm and used Earthquake, knocking out the lynx.

"One down. A beaten-up twerp to go." Dread said as Red returned Luxio and made a run for it. Red ran as fast as his body could muster, ignoring the pain that he is feeling until he barely dodged a knife in front of him. Seeing Dread, he was about to run the next way only to be smacked into a bus by Tyranitar, the teen holding his chest as he tried to get up.

"Don't even bother, twerp." Dread laughed as he picked up Red by his collar, his smile getting bigger upon seeing Red's wounded state. "Never thought I would get the chance to meet you again. Thanks to your little meddling in Cerulean, I lost a lot of money and men. And for that, you're going to pay...with interest."

The man landed a heavy blow to Red's stomach, the teen feeling like he just got hit by a truck. As Red tried his best to keep his balance and consciousness, he took another strike to the face which made him lean back to the bus as his vision started getting blurry.

"Well, bon voyage!" He said then took out his knife and attacked Red. What happened next made Dread stepped back in shock.

Red caught his knife, part of the blade piercing his flesh, the teen gripping his hand with all his might. The man calmed himself before he punched Red in his face, the teen's grip loosened before his grip tightened again, this time his other hand grabbing Dread's. He was not ready when Red's face went back until he saw it coming forward, crashing into his and knocking him back.

"What the hell was-" Dread could not continue when he saw Red's eyes, the man starting to sweat before the teen landed a swift strike to his face that launched him back, his Tyranitar able to catch him. "That's it. Kill him, Spike."

Spike was about to attack until he was hit by a blast that stopped him, Dread turning to see the police coming towards them which made his kick the ground in frustration. "Damn! It's the police! Everyone, run!"

All of them ran away from the police, some of them being captured. Taking the small window of opportunity, Devin was about to attack Red until his skin started showing goosebumps upon seeing the raven-haired teen's menacing glare. 'What the fuck?'

Hearing the police and seeing Arcanine coming to him, the man took out another Pokeball while he escaped. "Don't think you got away with this! I rule around these parts so you'll be seeing a lot of me soon."

After a while of checking for the thugs, one of the officers found Red who was hunched back, the man shook in fear when he saw the teen's eyes until he realized who it was. "Woah! Wait, you're that Red fellow. You ok?"

When he got closer, his eyes widened in shock as he saw the scene in front of him before he silently muttered.

"He's unconscious..."

Within a huge warehouse near the Celadon hotel, a few goons along with Dread sat around the place before they heard the door opening, seeing four silhouettes that entered the room. One of them plopped on the sofa, opening up a can of soda before he saw Dread putting a cold soda can to his cheek before he raised a brow. "Who the hell kicked your ass?"

"Don't you worry about that!" Dread said before he flinched when he rubbed his cheek. "Just fell down some stairs."

"Who could've done that to Dreadie?" One of the silhouette said, her voice echoed through the room, making Dread slightly annoyed before he looked to the TV. Everyone was talking and having a fun time until the news started, one of the persons leaning forward when Erika is shown, his eyes squinting as she was given the medal for the Team Rocket. "So little old Eri still taking over the Celadon gym? And is rewarded as a hero? For what?"

"The Team Rocket bullshit that happened." Someone answered before a woman voice echoed through the room "Never thought Miss Erika would become that strong."

"Yeah." The silhouette said before he got up and put his hands in his pockets. "And you know what, for her valiant efforts, let's give her a huge welcome."
