Chapter 5
It had been a few years since then and the universe had been altered dramatically
All mass sources of power in the universe such as stars and supernovas were reduced to energy and were absorbed by saitama under his orders
If boros had taught saitama anything it was that there was always a bigger fish, even if they couldn't see it
This pursuit for even more power led to black hole energy being used to continuously increase saitama's power
In the few short years saitama had gone on his rampage he had removed the stars from the skies and had made earth his base of operation
Of course the people rebelled at first but atom bombs may as well have been paper balls being flicked around a classroom for all the damage it did to saitama
Organizations formed and fell with none lasting more than a few days
Saitama enjoyed the challenge, people became stronger,better and smarter but no matter how good they were they always underestimated saitama
While prior saitama would not have even been fazed the attacks to him now were almost non existent
On year four is when the universe really felt the impact
For four years saitama had the smartest beings from one end of the universe to the other doing tests on blast and testing his universe traveling powers
After three years saitama had grown restless and gave the scientists one year to finish their machine, which was amazingly generous for him and in fear for their lives they finished in just under 10 months
"Finally" Saitama said towards the crowd of trillions of beings below him "the multiversal portal has been completed
With this I will travel and conquer other universes and add them to my empire so watch as history is made"
Walking into one of the metal rooms behind him he sat down on his throne and smiled viciously at the thought of all the opponent that awayed him
Walking up to the throne was a short woman formerly known as tatsumaki but was now just another servant of Saitama the god destroyer
"Your drink sir" she said in a distant manor
being broken down, watching everything you love destroyed and being tortured and tormented by your own incapability to do anything would do that to you
Taking the drink off the tray without a word would seem rude but no one would dare say anything about it
Closing his eyes he let his mind slip into the lovely thought of how he'd kill his future enemies in other universes
Something about the graphic gore always brings him peace
Standing up and and walking back outside he once again confronted the crowd
"The time is now, ACTIVATE THE MACHINE" he called out and with that the large machine next to him started making some interesting sounds
The machine resembled a crystal stone archway that glittered in the artificial green light that lit up the metallic world
the sounds stopped instantly and the archway was filled with a bright blue liquid light that moved like the ocean if it were placed on a wall without gravity
Turning around Saitama looked at the man next to him and spoke again to the crowd
"In my absence Garu will be in charge" Saitama said
Garu was smiling almost as evily as Saitama himself
Garu was now constantly in his monster form
When Saitama was beginning his take over he came across Garu in one of the parks
The word on Saitama had obviously gone around very fast so knowing who Saitama was he instantly attacked
Of course he was easily almost killed which pushed him to the edge making him becoming his monster form
His strength reminded saitama of Boros and Saitama appreciate that there were still fighters left
Knocking him out he trained him to maintain his monster form and soon Garu had become one of his most loyal servants
As the portal swirled around Saitama looked out at the universe he had made and with that he called out to the citizens of his universe one more time "citizens of universe 8932b, I will return soon and I will bring peace across the universe"
*To engineer "what universe is this set to?"
"W-We chose o-one at r-random because with your ageless b-body we knew it would-dn't matter w-which universe we chose" the engineering nervously said before quickly adding "b-because we knew we'd g-get round to all of them"
Looking around again he nodded at Garu and walked into the portal, disappearing into a blue swirl
As he emerged from the secondary projected portal the most noticeable thing was the large lake with a large city in the middle that lit up the dark night and reflected across the lake
As Saitama's cold eyes landed on the city he let out a crackling laugh "finally" he said between laughs "it is time"
