Lucy and Cuphead were getting dressed. It was a kingdom to kingdom meeting.
Meanwhile, Peach was getting dressed. She wasn't sure why Chalice called a meeting, but she got ready, anyway.
Peach arrived in the Inkwell Isles later. It was just her and Chalice's kingdom.
"Why did you call this meeting?" Peach asked Chalice.
"Luke's familiar with the Mushroom Kingdom, right?" Chalice asked.
"Yes, why?" Peach asked.
"I was thinking the finals of ANH could be there so he would feel comfortable." Chalice says. Peach thinks.
"Well, okay." Peach says.
Luke had been on edge since the announcement at the last show. Lucy holds him.
Luna heard the announcement on TV about there being a final five on ANH.
"Poor Luke…" Luna says.
Chalice came back from her meeting. But now wasn't a good time to share how it went.
Aria feels bad. But she had to practice. The finals show was in 4 weeks.
She meets up with Jackson, who was in the middle of dance practice with his private dance coach.
Aria walked off, going to rehearse on her own.
Luke practiced with Chalice. The cups also practice. This was going to be a show for the ANH history books. We'll until the future
The ANH finals was always a do-or-die type of show, so everyone that was participating in it had to bring their A-game.
The next day, Elemental Strike was having an interview at the offices of Teen Scene magazine. They just got their picture taken for the March issue of said magazine.
"So, tell me, are you coming out with any new songs?" Wesley, the editor, asked the band.
"We're busy preparing for the ANH Season 16 finals." Luke says.
"That's not what this article is about…" Wesley says.
"Yes, we have been working on a few new songs." Beau says. "We'll be debuting them soon enough."
"What is it like to be a band?" Wesley asked.
"Good." Beau says.
"Tell our readers about it." Wesley says. Beau was looking at the rest of the band as he started talking about it, staring them down the entire time.
Meanwhile, Aria waits on Jackson. Jackson came after a while.
"We need to have a concert." Aria says.
"Why?" Jackson asked.
"To get more excitement and to spend more time with my future boyfriend." Aria says.
"Well, I can't do concert stuff right now, Aria. I have a full schedule just to prepare for the finals. Dance practices with my dance coach, voice and acting lessons with Miss Stageplay, costume fittings, and rehearsals, just to name a few." Jackson says. "When we aren't so busy, we'll have a concert."
After the Elemental Strike's interview, Beau was glaring at the rest of the band.
"Way to make me do the whole interview, guys." Beau says coldly. "Because you're so wrapped up in the finals, that's all you can think of!"
"Sorry, I don't like talking much." Lucy says.
"I'm not blaming you, Lucy. Don't worry. It's everyone else that made me do the whole interview!" Beau shouted. "You're so wrapped up in the finals that you can't focus on anything else!"
Luke sniffed. He hated getting scolded.
"You know this isn't just my band." Beau says. "I wasn't the one who started it. And now Teen Scene is going to make it seem that way. All because you're obsessed with the finals show and wanting to win."
"Luke's more famous than you. People will still see it as such. Plus ANH is all people talk about right now." Chalice says.
"SHAPE UP WITH THIS BAND! BECAUSE I CAN'T KEEP DOING ALL THESE INTERVIEWS SOLO!" Beau shouted angrily as he stormed off to find his family. He had enough of his bandmates for the time being, and he was sick of being compared to Luke on top of all that.
Beau soon found his family. As soon as they saw his face, they were immediately concerned. Especially Beatrix.
"I'm sick of them comparing me to him! Yes, Luke's my friend, but I'm sick of them comparing me to him! I can't stand it!" Beau cried. "I can't stand any of them right now!"
Jancey rubbed her son's back while Belle played some soothing violin music for him.
Meanwhile, Aria decided to find Joe. She was frustrated that Jackson was always busy. But she also needed to realize that ANH finals preparation was a lot more challenging to deal with and took a lot of time to do.
She sees him training. Lucas tries to attack Joe, who barely dodges. Alya tries kicking Joe, who dodges as Lucas punches her.
Aria pulled Joe aside.
"Aria! I was in the middle of training!" Joe says.
"I need help rehearsing. Jackson is busy preparing for the ANH finals." Aria says. Joe sighed and went with Aria.
With Luke, he was watching Lucy plan his half-birthday. He was guilty about upsetting Beau at their interview today. But he was also upset with Chalice for starting it.
"So, what do you want?" Lucy asked, wanting to know how to plan his half-birthday.
"I want to have a candy party. Not in Sugar Rush. They see me more often now. But we can invite the racers, just because they like seeing me. And of course, I want it at San Antonio's Incredible Pizza Company. It has everything!" Luke says. "And they have cookie pizza, which I have always wanted to try!"
Lucy nodded and took notes.
On Valentine's Day, Luke wasn't in a loving mood toward Chalice. Ever since that interview, he's been mad at her. Luke just sat in his room most of the day.
Leni feels bad as she had heard about the interview.
Luke hissed at a picture of Chalice. "HATE!" He hissed.
Aria came in. Leni was holding Luke.
"Aria, sweetie, what is it?" Leni says, holding Luke back.
"Mommy and Daddy are fighting…" Aria says.
Luke grabs the picture of Chalice and hisses at it more.
Chalice goes to get him a gift. She knows he's mad at her. She looks around for the perfect gift to give Luke.
With Beau, he wasn't up to doing much of anything. He still felt angry and bitter about the interview. He was even angrier because Chalice had the nerve to compare him to Luke.
Lisa sees this and starts talking to him about it. In the end, Beau took off his glasses and sobbed hard as Lisa held him.
Lisa was angry with Luke and Chalice. Mostly because they made Beau upset. And because they let their ANH fame take over their band's career.
She goes to tell them off.
"Luke, how could you do that? Leaving Beau to do the interviews alone because all you could think about was the show! Beau hasn't eaten or slept in days because he's a nervous wreck! He missed practices because of how you, Chalice, and the cups acted!" Lisa screamed.
"Lisa, you can't scold Luke. He hates that." Leni says. Lisa explains this in a way Leni will understand as Luke looks down, ashamed.
"You should be ashamed! Care about someone other than yourself for once!" Lisa says before going to tell Chalice off.
"I do. You're the one who will probably ditch me or ruin my half-birthday!" Luke says. But Lisa was already gone.
Lisa finds Chalice, and before Chalice could speak, Lisa started speaking first.
"You have a lot of nerve, making Beau feel inferior! You compared him to Luke, which in turn, made him feel very insecure!" Lisa shouted. "Thanks to you, Beau hasn't properly eaten or slept. And all he can think about is what you all did to him! He missed five show practices and rehearsals because of you and how you compared him to Luke! I'm sick of how you act because of this show! I'm done with this and all of my votes are going to Beau!" Lisa says, leaving before Chalice could say anything.
Aria noticed Chalice walking with a gift for Luke. Luke opened it seeing a box of chocolates, flowers, and a ring. Luke was surprised to see all this.
"Chalice, this is all very nice of you. But you also compared a longtime friend to me." Luke says.
Chalice frowned, feeling sorry.
"You're the one who hurt Beau." Luke says.
With Cuphead, he had taken Lucy to dinner.
Lucy blushed as she smiled at Cuphead.
"This is wonderful." Lucy says. "The poetry, the food…it's wonderful."
Cuphead smiled.
Mugman and Margo were making love in their room after coming back from a romantic dinner at the San Antonio Riverwalk's most romantic restaurant.
"I love you, Mugsy..." Margo says, kissing him.
"I love you more, Margo!" Mugman says, riding Margo.
With Lisa, she and Beau didn't go out. Beau didn't feel like it, which Lisa understood. The two of them were content watching romantic movies and ordering a heart-shaped pizza, and eating mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. They were having fun just doing whatever they wanted. Beau wouldn't have it any other way.
"I'm so sorry about the way your bandmates treat you, Beau." Lisa says.
"It's okay, Lis. I am just sick of how they always compare me to one of my best friends. What they did at the interview made me upset and mad at them. The next interview we have, I should just expose them for who they are." Beau says.
"Why don't we do that after dessert? I can help you." Lisa says.
"I'd love that." Beau says, hugging and kissing Lisa.
"Wait, no, let's enjoy our evening. We'll do it tomorrow." Lisa says.
Beau smiles at the idea of that and scoots closer to Lisa.
