Hey everyone! First things first, we'll be seeing how Lucy got her dragon slayer magic and why she kept quiet about it. This explanation has been on the back burner for a while, but now it is time to find out what happened. After that, by the end of this chapter, Lucy should be caught by the royal guards so they can open the Eclipse Gate. Enjoy! :)

Everyone in Fairy Tail was partying back at their inn. They were cheering for their victory, and also for the defeat of Sabertooth's two strongest mages by just one of their own.
Harry watched them go completely crazy after they drank booze left and right like Cana. Natsu was the most lively of them, not that Harry could blame him. He did, after all, take on two powerful dragon slayers by himself and won.
He took a sip of his drink and noticed Hermione and Ron walking up to him. "This is like a Gryffindor party after a game of Quidditch," said Ron with a joyful and wistful grin.
Harry chuckled, "You said it. I've been wanting to ride on my broom since watching Natsu and Sting move at top speeds, which I think I'll do after everyone goes to bed."
Ron's eyes widened. "You found your broom? Where was it? I couldn't find mine. I looked all over Hogwarts for it."
Hermoine rolled her eyes. "It wasn't the only one missing. A lot of personal items were missing," she said.
"I found my broom in Gringotts. I don't understand why it happened, but I'm guessing it had something to do with magic or the spell Voldemort used," replied Harry.
"I'll be sure to go there as soon as possible, then. I miss riding my broom," said Ron longingly.
"Anyway, I need to tell Lucy that she has an explanation to do," said Harry while he set his drink down. "I'll be back in a minute." He walked away, heading over to the blond mage sitting around the bar fidgeting. 'She must be worried about explaining everything,' he thought.
{She's probably hoping everyone forgot about her using dragon slayer magic earlier,} said Fawkes as he flew in from somewhere and landed on his shoulder.
{Yeah, you're probably right, but there is nothing for her to be afraid of.}
{That's what you need to tell her, not me.} Harry nodded his head in agreement.
He stopped walking and sat down next to Lucy. She turned to face him and smiled nervously.
"You want me to tell them," she said the sentence as more of a statement than a question.
Harry bobbed his head to confirm. "They have a right to know. There is no reason to keep hiding it any longer, is there?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I know, but I'm just so nervous. I've been keeping this secret since a was a little kid."
Harry laid a hand on her shoulder. "You'll be fine. Everyone will be happy you told them, and they will understand why you kept it from them if you explain that part to them too."
Lucy sighed, "You're right. Think you can get their attention?" she asked softly. Harry nodded his head and held up his wand. He caused a loud bang to be heard throughout the inn, gaining everyone's attention.
"Everyone, Lucy has something to tell you all," Harry announced before lowering his wand and letting Lucy take over. She slowly stood up and looked at everyone in the room.
"Um...well, you all saw me use dragon slayer magic earlier today, right?" she waited till she saw everyone nod their heads. "Okay so...I should start at the beginning. Since I was born, I had the power to use ice, but I had zero control over it. If I didn't learn to control it, it would freeze me from the inside out. In the year X777, my mom brought me to a winter dragon. She was my mentor in learning my dragon slayer magic and how to control the ice within me. She trained me for seven years, but just like with Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy's dragons, she disappeared and was never seen again. She left behind this ring that is made out of ice that never melts." She showed them the ring wrapped around her finger. "I've looked for her, but never found her. Now the reason I've kept quiet about all of this was because of my father. He knew about my ice magic, but he didn't know that it could have killed me. If he did, he would have done everything to have it destroyed." Gasps were heard throughout the guild, but Lucy ignored them and continued, "I've kept my magic hidden so he wouldn't find out. He was rich, so he could have paid someone to take my magic away if he wanted to, so I kept quiet about it, but then he was broke. I started to think that maybe now I can show everyone what I could really do, but then Acnologia happened. I didn't know what a good time would be to tell you all this except for when I showed the whole world I could do it today." Lucy finished explaining everything to everyone.
No one made a move to say anything. Harry could see the horror in their eyes at the thought of Lucy's father destroying her magic. Not only would it destroy any chance Lucy had for a happy life, but it could have killed her if not done carefully. It was a relief that she got away and kept her magic hidden all this time so that wouldn't happen.
Natsu walked over to Lucy and placed a hand on her shoulder, much like Harry did earlier, but he leaned his forehead against hers as well in comfort. "It's okay, Lucy. We're glad you told us all of this. Just know that there is nothing to fear. No one is going to take your magic away," he said as he pulled his head away and looked her in the eyes.
"Yeah," said Levi. "Not only that, but it's illegal to use spells that could take away someone's magic permanently."
"Unless you have the rights to and someone is abusing their use of magic," said Makarov.
"You see, Lucy," began Harry, "everyone here will always be beside you. Never forget that. You are a part of this guild and if someone tried to do that to you again, they would have to get past all of us."
Natsu grinned. "I couldn't have said that better myself!" The rest of their guildmates roared their agreement, causing Lucy to stare on in awe, and then smile in gratitude.
"Thanks, guys." They all smiled in return, but just then the door to the inn opened up to reveal Gajeel coming in.
"Where have you been?" asked Natsu.
"I've been underground thanks to a certain Salamander! Which reminds me, you need to see what I found while I was down there; both you and Wendy."
"Mind if some of us come with you?" asked Harry.
Gajeel shrugged. "Suit yourself." He then turned around to lead them out of the inn. Natsu, Wendy, Happy, Carla, Pantherlily, Lucy, Gray, Harry, Fawkes, Ron, and Hermoine all got up and followed. Castor also got up, but Harry stopped him.
"I need you to stay here, son. This could be dangerous," he said.
"What, but I want to come with you!"
"I know, but I have a feeling something bad might happen, so please stay here. I'll be back as soon as I can." He then turned around but saw Castor pout like a little kid. Harry quickly caught up with the others and followed behind Gajeel.
{What are you thinking about, Harry?} asked Fawkes.
{This might have to do with what I read in that book,} he replied.
{Oh yeah... I almost forgot about that. Do you think Gajeel found the gate?}
{It's possible.} The two stopped talking as they were led down into the underground. It took them a while, but Gajeel stopped in front of a large opening.
"We're here," he said, causing everyone to peer inside the giant, open cave. Harry's eyes widened, and he was sure the others did too. There were dragon bones everywhere. There were so many that Harry couldn't count them all. They were on the ground, the walls, and even the ceiling.
They wandered around the open cave studying all the bones. Harry couldn't believe that something like this was under the capital city.
"Okay..." started Hermione, "we've seen dragons back at Hogwarts, but none of them were ever this big."
Ron nodded his head in agreement. "You said it. I'm glad they're not alive right now."
"You think these guys are big. You should have seen Acnologia," said Harry.
"Says the guy that turned into a giant snake bigger than him and fought him," said Happy with a teasing smile.
Harry returned a nervous smile. "Yeah, but he has arms, I don't in that form."
"Wait, you can turn into a snake?" asked Hermione.
"Yes, I turn into a world serpent. It's my animagus form," he explained.
"So I'm guessing that means you can't show us?" asked Ron.
Harry shook his head. "No, sorry. I would have to spend way too much money fixing the whole city if I did."
"Hey," said Natsu, "do you guys think that one of these dragons might know about ours?"
"Even if they did, how would they tell us? They're dead if you haven't noticed!" exclaimed Gajeel.
"Wait!" shouted Wendy. "You two just reminded me about a spell I learned not long ago. I didn't understand it at first, but now I think I do."
Harry tilted his head. "What is it?" he asked.
"It's a sky dragon slayer spell that allows you to hear the voices of dragons. I think it might work to communicate with the souls of the dragons that might still be here," she replied.
"This place is so old, though. Is there really a spirit still lingering here?" asked Lucy.
Harry felt around with his death magic. It took him a moment, but there was a small spark, like a sleeping presence, somewhere close by. "I think there is at least one here," he said. "It's somewhere around where we're standing."
{Couldn't you just call the spirit then?} asked Fawkes.
{I will if Wendy's spell doesn't work,} he said, and then turned to Wendy. "Give it a shot. It can't hurt, right? Besides, even if they don't know about what happened to your dragons, they might still know something about Acnologia and what happened here."
Wendy nodded her head and began to perform the spell. He can sense her magic searching for the soul. It tapped the one Harry felt not long ago, and she called it forth. A big, green dragon with a wide and boxy head appeared, which looked down that them like they were a tasty snack.
"Who woke me up? Oh? Was it this little one? She is so tiny and cute I could just eat her up," the dragon soul said as he eyed Wendy, but this got everyone to put themselves in between Wendy and the dragon.
"Don't even think about it!" shouted Natsu with a threatening growl.
"Oh relax," said the dragon. "I can't harm her even if I wanted to. See?" The dragon flicked Natsu in the gut, but his claw just went right through him.
Harry walked up to the dragon and said, "Hello then. May we know you're name? I'm Harry Potter, and these are my friends from the guild Fairy Tail."
The dragon turned to look at him, and Harry noticed the way he was looking at him nervously. "I'm Zirconis, the jade dragon. Now tell me, what are you? I can tell you're human, but your magic feels different from any I have ever felt before."
"I'm the Master of Death. I use death magic, so if Wendy wasn't able to call you I would have been able to."
"I get the feeling you can do more than that, but no matter, just don't touch my soul."
"I won't do anything you don't want unless you planned on hurting us," reassured Harry.
"Hey, dragon!" called out Natsu. "Do you know a dragon named Igneel?"
"Who hasn't? He's the fire dragon king," said Zirconis.
"Do you know what happened to him?"
"I do not. How would I know what the enemy is doing?"
"Wait, dragons were enemies with each other?" asked Hermione. "Also, they can talk?" she asked Harry quietly.
"If it helps any, this is the first dragon I talked to as well," he whispered back.
The dragon hummed, "Yes, but how that happened is a long story, so you might as well get comfy. I'll start at the beginning.
"400 years ago, we dragons were the rulers of the world, and humans were nothing more than cattle, but one dragon felt bad for the humans and decided he wanted to live alongside them. He managed to get a few of our fellow dragons to follow him, but many, like myself, were strongly against it. Our battles caused a civil war between us, causing destruction wherever we go, but we always ended up in a stalemate. The dragons on the side of the humans formed a plan that gave them the upper hand. They began to teach the humans how to use our magic, so they could fight alongside their dragon mentors against us.
"Their plan worked, our side was losing. However, the humans soon turned against the dragons that helped them. There was one human, in particular, that was the worst of them. He continued to kill and bathe in the blood of every dragon he came across. He killed so much that he eventually turned into a dragon himself and used his newfound power to kill all the dragons and become the dragon king. This human turned dragon was Acnologia."
Harry saw the shocked expressions on everyone's faces, but he didn't share in the surprise since Zeref had already told him what really happened to Acnologia, but he decided to keep quiet about it for the time being.
"Wait, I have a question," said Hermione. "How did dragons become the rulers of the world in the first place?"
"I don't know that story for I wasn't even born when it happened," Zirconis said just before he vanished, causing Wendy to slump over in exhaustion.
Harry bent down beside the sky dragon slayer. "You okay, Wendy?" he asked concerned.
She lifted her head and met his eyes; he could see worry within those blue orbs of hers. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"You don't think...that we'll become dragons too like Acnologia, do you?" Natsu voiced the question that crossed everyone's mind, except Harry since he knows how a dragon slayer became a dragon. But before he could say anything, a voice broke the silence that surrounded them.
"No, there is nothing you need to worry about. Acnologia had Zeref's help in becoming what he is today." Harry snapped his head around to see who spoke. It was a man in royal armor with dark hair and a beard.
"And how would you know that?" Harry asked the man with a narrowed gaze.
The man smirked. "The attack on Tenrou Island is proof of it. After all, Zeref was on the island when Acnologia attacked."
"He could have attacked to get at Zeref," pointed out Harry. "We may have just been in the way."
"I doubt it," said the man. "Zeref managed to get off the island before Acnoloiga got there."
Harry muttered, "No he didn't. He was with us the whole time." He knew that the man didn't hear him, but he saw Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy sideways glance at him. "So you're saying Zeref may have called that monster there?" Harry questioned the man, knowing that it was best to not continue the argument. He remembered what he read in the book he found from the time traveler, and he had no plans of getting thrown behind bars. He had to play it safe from now on.
"That's correct," said the royal guard with a grin that stated he won Harry over. Harry just let him believe what he wanted. "Come, there is something I want to show you all."

Okay, so this was a longer chapter. It might have something to do with having a new keyboard. Anyway, I'm going to skip over the whole Lucy gets captured thing, since it will be the same as in the cannon. It will be summarized in the next chapter so we can see Harry's thoughts about their plan.
Also, I want to place a Poll here. This will give me time to read through the two last arcs of this story because I need to remember what I did. So the Poll is this: Should I or should I not have Harry be part of the team that fights in the final part of the GMG? If I have Harry fight with Erza and Laxus, then I'll replace him with Gray, and Gray would go with Natsu and save Lucy. If not, then Harry will go with Natsu and the others to save Lucy and the fight in the GMG will remain the same. You're choice.
Natsu: How long would they have before the poll closes?
Enj/Dark: I'm not sure... but let's give it a month or two. I do need to work on my other fanfic after all. So I'll read at least three or more chapters every other week.
Harry: I can see why that might take a while.
Zeref: It's better that she pauses here to remind herself of what was told and what was not, that way she doesn't make a mistake.
Voldy: That would be funny, but you are right. A story this long could easily gain mistakes.
Enj/Dark: That's why I'm stopping here. Once I'm done I'll know what to do. Zeff?
Zeref: Please review! :3
