Natsu clung to his newfound uncle, Atlas Flame, a dragon made of fire. The two had fought, but Atlas asked Natsu if he had any connection to Igneel. When Natsu confirmed that Igneel was his father, Atlas told Natsu that Igneel was his friend. After that, Natsu and Atlas Flame teamed up and made their way toward Future Rogue.

Atlas came in from the side, crashing his body into the bluish-gray dragon Rogue was standing on. The enemy dragon roared in pain, and Natsu used this moment to jump on top of it. The dragon slayer spotted Rogue right away and attacked. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Rogue turned around with a surprised look on his face, but that was all the time he had to react before Natsu's fist met his face.

Rogue stumbled back but regained his balance quickly. He looked up at Natsu, who covered his body in flames. The pink-haired slayer was angry but wanted to understand why Rogue did this. Why did this man want to destroy the past?

"I told your friend earlier: I'm doing this to stop Acnologia," said Rogue, making Natsu realize he spoke his thoughts aloud.

"Well, I'm not buying that," said Natsu. "If that was true, you wouldn't bring dragons that hate humans."

Rogue smirked. "It doesn't matter if they hate humans or not. I created a spell that allowed me to control the wills of dragons, making them my servants. But it would seem that you broke my control on that fire dragon. That's okay; it makes controlling the rest of the dragons easier."

Natsu gritted his teeth. "You're controlling them against their will?" he growled before swiping his hand in an arc toward the destroyed city. "For what purpose do you need to do all this?!" he demanded.

Rogue stayed silent for three seconds and then spoke, "I'm doing it for Frosch."

"What?" Natsu was confused. What did Frosch have to do with this?

"Someone you know will kill him," said Rogue, "then the world will end." Rogue activated his White Shadow Dragon mode and fired thin beams of light and shadow at Natsu, who quickly dodged the attack.

'I guess we're fighting now,' thought Natsu as he twisted and breathed fire, "Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Rogue dodged the flames by jumping over them. "Shadow Dragon's Blade!" Rogue cast as he thrust his right hand forward. It was the same shadow-like blade that Rogue used to kill Future Lucy.

Natsu glared at the attack and leaned to the side, causing the blade to miss. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Natsu commanded as he charged at Rogue. The attack landed, sending the shadow mage back toward the head of the mother dragon.

As Rogue recovered, Natsu's fist met his face, and then the fire dragon slayer kicked Rogue in the side with a Fire Dragon's Claw.

Rogue flipped in the air with his mouth open. "White Shadow Dragon's Roar!" A shadow with light peeking through dashed at Natsu at great speed. The pink-haired slayer tried to dodge it but failed.

Natsu recovered, but when he looked back to where he last saw his opponent, Rogue was gone. He wondered where the enemy had gone, but a moving shadow caught his eye. Natsu looked down and spotted a snake-like shadow stalking him like a shark.

Tensing his legs, Natsu readied himself to jump. Rogue shot out of his shadow from Natsu's right, but the fire dragon slayer dodged the attack.

"Fire Dragon's Secret Art: Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!" The blaze hit Rogue and the dragon head-on, causing the two to fall.

"Ron!" Harry called out worriedly when he landed and joined his friends by the panel of the gate.

Ron and Hermione turned to him with wide, surprised eyes, but Zeref looked up for one second before returning to his gate. "Harry, everything okay?" they asked together.

Harry stopped in front of them. "I'm fine, but, Ron, I felt your life force…." He couldn't finish his sentence. Ron was alive, but he did have a burnt hand. Harry wished he understood what happened before time went backward.

"My life force vanished, didn't it?" asked Ron, sounding resigned and shocking Harry. The green-eyed wizard wanted to ask how his friend knew but failed to get the words out. Luckily, Ron could read him like an open book. "I don't know what happened, but I saw myself die for a second after Hermione and I found the tools. These baby metal dragons in the castle would have killed me if we lingered, so we took a different route."

"It was so strange," said Hermione. "It was like a vision of the future, but neither of us are seers, so we have no clue what caused it."

"Someone turned back time," replied Harry. He explained what he knew about the event that saved Ron's life.

Zeref looked up from unscrewing the control panel. "Isn't there a time mage here?" he asked.

"Well, if Jellal is here, then Ultear must be too. She's a time mage. Do you think she had something to do with it?" asked Harry.

"Yes, but it will come at a price. I can't remember what that price is, though. I think it had something to do with aging." Zeref shrugged and returned to his work.

"I'll have to thank her when I see her next," said Harry, looking up at the sky to check on the battle; however, his eyes widened in horror. "Zeref, you might want to work a little faster," he said nervously.

"Why?" Zeref asked but didn't look up again as he unscrewed the last bolt.

"Natsu is about to crush us with a dragon." Ron and Hermione snapped their heads to see what Harry was talking about.

Harry watched as the bluish-gray dragon was hit by Natsu's fire, sending it toward them at a concerning speed. He turned his eyes to see Zeref's progress - he was taking the screw out and opened the panel. Harry lifted his wand as he saw the dragon 50 or so yards away from them now.

Just as the Master of Death was about to cast Death's Sheild, he heard glass break behind him, and the dragon vanished. Harry stared at the spot where the dragon was, his body unresponsive. He felt like Death had come by and given him a hug, sending shivers that only a dementor could accomplish down his spine.

Slowly, Harry looked at his surroundings. Dragons started to vanish, but they were going much slower than the first. Not far from Harry and his friends were Natsu and Future Rogue. Rogue was lying on the ground, defeated, while Natsu hovered above him but looked in Harry's direction with wide eyes. That was when Harry realized that many people were looking at them in shock.

Harry realized they were all looking at Zeref, so he turned to face him. Zeref was brushing his hands off with pieces of lacrama scattered all over the ground. The dark mage turned his black eyes to focus on everyone in the area and said, "What? You mean no one thought to just take the power source out?"

Harry snapped his green eyes to the princess and her knights in time to see them look bashful. 'I guess not,' he thought with sweat rolling head his face.

The princess schooled her face and approached Zeref. "King Spriggan, may I ask why you are here, and how did you know how to shut the gate down?" she questioned.

Zeref held his back straight and answered, "I know a lot about Zeref's creations because I have a journal that belonged to him. He spoke about the Eclipse Gate and how he placed safety measures on it in case something like this happened."

"Someone like Zeref placed safety clauses on his creations?" Harry heard Arcadios mutter.

The princess sighed. "Thank you, King Spriggan, for helping save my kingdom."

"I was only helping a friend. He told me about your plans and saw the flaws, so he asked me for help." Zeref bowed. "Now, if you will excuse me, I must be going," he said before vanishing in a blink of an eye.

{Smart move,} said Fawkes. {If someone who knew him showed up, they would have ratted him out.}

{Agreed,} said Harry.

"Hey, guys," Ron called, sounding nervous. "Is anyone going to point out that one of the dragons hasn't left?" Harry looked at his friend with confusion but turned to where he was pointing. The was a blue dragon with gold markings and a star-like pattern on its wings towering over them with eyes that matched the night sky.

This took longer to update because I had to write the fight down on paper first. I couldn't find the battle on youtube, so I had to wing it. I hope it came out okay.

Harry: You have wanted to write that part for a long time.

Natsu: What? Where Zeref destroyed what was powering the gate?

Enj/Dark: It just makes everyone look stupid! XD They mentioned a lacrama absorbing magic energy from the games, right? So why not just take it out and save everyone's time?

Zeref: She has a point. -_-

Voldy: When you put it that way, it does make everyone sound like idiots.

Enj/Dark: Harry, it's your turn.

Harry: Please review!
