Shanti calmly walked to the stream to fetch a pale of water. She then heard a noise behind her. She looked behind her just in time to see a monkey jump out and grab her. Remembering Mowgli's tale of king Louie. Shanti quickly smacked the monkey with her pale.
Enraged, the monkey jumps on her head! Causing both of them to fall into the stream! The current dragged both of them away!
Shanti tried to swim but the insane monkey kept trying to wrestle with her! Finally,she was able to grab onto a tree root. Surprised by the sudden stop, the
monkey was flung off! Franticly, the monkey grabbed on to shanti's skirt-
RIP!
Shanti didn't have time to think about what just happened for the root just snapped! Next thing she knows she's flying over a waterfall! She braces herself
for a painful landing...which doesn't happen...Shanti looks around and see's her shirt has caught on to a large tree branch poking out of the falls. Shanti
let's out a sigh of relief and then tries to-
SCREECH!
Shanti looked up at the source of the yell and saw the monkey from before using her skirt as a parachute! The monkey lands on the branch with such force-
RIP!
Shanti cried out as she began her fall again. Then she noticed something. Her chest bindings were unraveling. Looking up. She saw that the end piece of her
binding was snagged on the branch.
Quickly, she grabbed on to the other end of her bindings. Which left her dangling only a few feet above the water.
Quickly, she jumped into the water and swam to shore. Where she realized 3 things:
She was miles away from the village.
She didn't recognize this part of the jungle.
She was naked save for a loincloth.
She covered herself and gazed at the dark, forbidding jungle...having no idea what to do...
