I don't own The Loud House.
Welcome back! I'm sorry that I've been absent for a week longer than I planned. I got sick last week and I couldn't focus on writing. I've been playing catch up all week. I will be posting today and also next week as an apology. There were a couple of rewrites I had to do for the two commission stories since there had been an error on the summary they gave me. Well, one was an error, the other one just delayed because I haven't edited it yet. I will post it next week for sure.
I keep forgetting to do it but I will be opening two slots for commissions starting tomorrow, the first of July. Message me on here or on twitter if you're interested. If this keeps being popular, I might open more slots later.
Also, I've been working on an art piece that will be posted soon. Keep an eye on my twitter. It's Lucy ;)
Anyways, enjoy! Thanks again for everyone who reviewed, I appreciate it!
L Is For Love
Chapter 13: Revelations
When Lincoln got home after school and what would be his 2 day suspension, he was surprised to see the rest of his sisters surrounding Luna. When he approached her, Lincoln saw that Luna had been in a fight.
"What happened to you?" He asked her.
Luna grinned. "I got into a fight with Sam. We had some stuff to work through."
Lori snorted. "You call this working things out? It looks like she beat the snot out of you."
"She basically did, bruh." Luna admitted. "But she had too. And while we're not the best of buddies yet, I got a feeling that we're getting there."
Lincoln looked skeptical. "She told you this?"
"Nah. It's just a feeling I got." Luna said, shaking her head.
Later that night, Lincoln sat with Lucy and Luna in his room. Lucy was in charge of keeping an eye on Luna until she fully recovered. And Luna wanted to talk to Lincoln. The three of them sat in comfortable silence for several moments before Luna decided to speak.
"So...are we cool, bro?" She asked him.
Lincoln sighed. "Yea..."
"You don't sound too sure, dude." Luna pointed out.
Lincoln gave her a tired smile. "Luna, you're my sister. I forgive you since it was just a misunderstanding..."
"But?" Luna asked, sensing a but was coming.
"But," Lincoln continued. "A part of me is upset with you. After all of our time together, you should have known better."
Luna felt her face burn with shame, a sensation that was becoming far too familiar with her. "I know..." She said weakly.
"I'm not saying that I'll hold it against you, Luna. I still love you." He smiled at her. "But it will take time. Just be patient with me."
Luna wiped a tear from her eye. "You got it dude."
Lucy spoke next. "So...Stella, huh?"
Lincoln blushed and Luna grinned.
"I swear there's no privacy in this house!" Lincoln complained as he let himself fall backwards on his bed.
"You're the one who told us about it." Luna reminded him.
"And the rumor mill is saying that you've got a girlfriend from every grade, even kindergarten." Lucy said.
Luna and Lincoln turned towards her. "Kindergarten?" Luna asked.
Lucy gave them a rare playful smile. "Rumor has it that you're dating Darcy Helmandollar."
"Lisa's best friend?" Luna asked, surprised. She turned towards Lincoln. "Y-You're not right?"
Lincoln shook his head furiously. "No! I draw the line at anyone younger than me!"
Lucy pouted. "So that means I can't date you, Oniichan?"
Luna noticed that Lincoln blushed and looked away. She grinned. "Really, dude?"
"Shut up, it's not my fault my little sister is so cute!" Lincoln protested. "Besides, Lucy just likes to tease me like that. She's not serious."
Luna turned towards Lucy. "You're not serious, right?"
Lucy smiled. "Wouldn't you like to know." She said mischievously.
"Lucy, for the last time, stop being so damn convincing!" Lincoln whined. "Lynn already threatened to cut off my balls if she finds out that I'm attracted to you."
Luna laughed. She wasn't sure if they were doing a bit or not but it was funny to picture Lynn holding Lincoln up by shirt pinned against the wall while she brandished a pair of scissors.
"Okay...fine...fine..." Lucy reletended. "I was just having fun."
The siblings spent a few more minutes talking about nothing in particular before Lucy asked again. "So...what are you going to do about Stella and Sam?"
"I don't know." Lincoln sighed. "I mean, I like both of them. I really do...but until the whole thing blows over, I think I'm just gonna wait and see."
Luna was listening to her brother speak when a sudden idea came to her. She wasn't there when Lisa and Lori came up with the plan to help Sam's reputation. "Bro? What about the other girls?"
Lincoln and Lucy looked confused. "What do you mean?" Lincoln asked.
Luna frowned. "Well, didn't Lisa's plan involve getting girls who already had the hots for you to date you?"
"Y-Yea..." Lincoln said slowly, not fully understanding what Luna was getting at.
"So...what's gonna happen to them when this blows over?" Luna asked. "Are you just gonna dump them?"
Lincoln was silent for a long time, making both Luna and Lucy think that Lincoln had gone comatose. Luna waved a hand in front of her brother's eyes.
"Uh...bro?" She asked him.
Lincoln blinked and suddenly he looked worried. "Oh no, what am I going to do!?" He sounded like he was on the verge of panicking.
"Calm down, dude." Luna tried to calm her brother but he wasn't listening to her.
"How can I break up with them when they like me so much? I mean, Becky pretty much already told me that she wants my babies!" Lincoln said, his voice sounding a little hysterical.
Lucy did the only thing that she could think of. She reached over and slapped him. Hard. "Feel better?" She asked him.
Lincoln nodded as he held his cheek. "Thanks...I needed that."
"So...did Becky really say that?" Luna questioned him.
Lincoln blushed. "Yea..."
Lucy grinned. "Wicked."
Luna laughed. "Man, you really are swimming in it, bruh."
"It's not like I asked for this!" Lincoln protested with a blush. "This was all Lisa's plan."
"I wonder if she knew that you wouldn't be able to dump any of them?" Lucy wondered aloud.
The three of them shared a look and Luna was the first to speak. "I think you're stuck with them, bro."
Lincoln sighed. "Yea...I think you're right."
Lucy placed a sympathetic hand on her brother's shoulders. "Poor you."
Then the three of them began to giggle as they realized that Lincoln was probably luckier than more guys.
XXXXX
The next day, Lincoln and Luna stayed home since they were both suspended from school. The rest of their siblings went to their respective schools. Lincoln spent the morning doing chores. Well, they were Luna's chores but Lincoln decided to help her. While they were busy at home, Lori was having to deal with the nuisance that was her friend known as Becky.
"So, Lori, is it true what Becky is saying?" Rachel, one of her classmates, asked. "Did Lincoln ride a white stallion up to Becky's window and serenaded her with a guitar?"
Lori mentally cursed. "What? No! How could any of that be real?" She asked her.
Rachel looked disappointed. "Darn...I thought he might've done it."
"Why?" Lori asked exasperatedly.
"It's not like your little brother isn't known for doing crazy things like that." Rachel shrugged. "It sounded like something he would do to impress a girl."
Lori had to admit, Rachel had a point. Lincoln was known for his crazy plans. "Look, my brother didn't do any of that stuff. In fact, if it comes from Becky, then it's probably a lie."
Rachel walked away looking disappointed but she seemed to understand that Becky wasn't a reliable source. Lori quickly made her way towards her locker where she needed to change books for her next period. When she closed it, Lori was surrounded by three different girls. They asked if Lincoln was secretly being paid to date lonely girls and if so, how much it would cost. Lori practically growled at them to get away from her. She swore that she was going to strangle Becky when she found her!
Sadly, Lori didn't get the chance to murder her redheaded friend until lunch time. When she finally located her friend, Becky was sitting with Leni, Carol, and Dana. Lori joined them and pointed a finger at Becky.
"I've got a bone to pick with you, Becky!" Lori told her.
"And your brother has a bone that I want to be picked with." Becky responded with a playful wink. Somewhere in the cafeteria, they all heard Luan shout "HAA!" to Becky's lame joke.
"Why are you spreading such outlandish rumors about Lincoln!?" Lori demanded.
Becky looked genuinely confused. "Isn't that what I was supposed to do? To bullshit so much bullshit that people forget about Sam?"
"Yea but some of the things I've heard are so ridiculous that there's no way they can be true!" Lori protested. "Lincoln riding a stallion to serenade you at your house?"
"I could totally see Lincoln doing that." Carol said. "Remember when he asked me to fill in for you, Lori? He practically serenaded me to do it"
"Well what about Lincoln accepting money to date lonely girls?" Lori asked.
"I didn't come up with that one." Becky said though she looked eager to know who did. "That makes it sound like you're pimpin him out."
"No, you think!?" Lori asked sarcastically. "That's why I'm so mad because these rumors are getting out of hand! We're supposed to be making it seem like Lincoln is a sweet, kind and romantic boy, not a gigolo!"
"To be fair, if he was a-" But Becky stopped when Lori glared murder at her.
"Listen, from now on don't spread any rumors like that. Keep them simple and clean. Okay?" Lori told them.
"What about the one where Lincoln is trying to become a harem king?" Dana asked. "Is that one safe to spread?"
Lori sighed heavily. She regretted telling Dana the truth but she couldn't live with herself if she continued to lie to one of her best friends. Thankfully Dana didn't take it too badly and she was happy to help so long as she could go on actual dates with Lincoln. "Who started that one? I haven't heard it yet."
"I did!"
The whole table turned towards Leni as she smiled brightly. When she noticed how everyone was looking at her, Leni faltered. "W-Was I not supposed to say that?"
"Leni, why do you think that Lincoln is trying to become a harem king?" Lori asked.
"Well...isn't he?" Leni asked back, confused.
Becky snorted and Dana and Carol giggled. They could see how it would look like that to poor Leni. They turned towards Lori and grinned.
"No, Leni, that's not what Lincoln is do-" Lori began but was cut off as Fiona rushed over to their table in the corner and slammed her tray onto it.
"Leni, please tell me it's not true!" Fiona begged her coworker and best friend.
"What are you talking about?" Leni asked her.
"Leni, I heard that Lincoln, your little brother, is dating his sisters!" Fiona asked, forgetting that Leni wasn't alone.
Carol, who had taken a sip of her drink, spit it all over Becky who was across from her. "What the hell, dude? This isn't the kind of facial that I like!" Again, somewhere in the cafeteria they all heard Luan shout 'Haa!'.
Lori stood up and whipped Fiona around to face her. "Who the hell is saying that!?" She demanded, clearly angry.
"It's all over the school. They're saying that Luna got mad at Sam because she supposedly stole her baby daddy. But that's not true, right?" Fiona asked the eldest Loud.
"No! Who the hell told you that?" Lori asked again.
But Fiona shook her head. "It's all over the school forum. That's where I saw it. I know that it's probably not true but...well, Luna did freak out last Friday. People are thinking that her hormones were making her go crazy."
Lori glanced at Leni and they both shared a look. This whole plan of Lisa's had officially gone to shit.
