Chapter 33 Corpse Bride

Judai was outside of the building with Kohta and Takashi walking around.
"So how do you feel about getting married?"Takashi asked.
Judai looks at him and said:"Are you really talking to the guy that couldn't even have dreams before."
"Well your also marrying Saya, the one girl I didn't expect."Kohta chuckles a bit.
"Yeah yeah."Judai grunts."What do you think I am?"He walks away and the two stopped.
Takashi thinks about it and said:"A sarcastic jerk."
"I heard that!"Judai said.
"Note to self, he can hear far."Takashi said.
Judai goes outside to the city on his bike, he takes out many zombies with Adayusu, he then stops at a jewelry store and goes inside.
He sees many of the jewels were still there which is not surprising since these things were worthless with the world now as it is, he then finds a gold ring with a diamond.
"Perfect."He takes the ring and sees more of them and takes them too."Might as well."
He goes outside and looks around before driving off to find a quiet place.
He finds a forest and goes inside it, he then walks around making sure no one was here.
"Not surprising since the zombies are more attracted to noises which comes from the city, now what are my vows?"He then thinks holding the ring."With this hand..."
He walks around the woods thinking about them.
"I hate this, this whole wedding vows thing."He's not used to this kind of thing.
He then picks up the ring and said:"With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring."He then sees a branch like arm sticking out from a tree."I ask you to be mine."He puts it on the finger.
He then hears crows and looks up, then the branch grabbed his arm pulling it inside, he got shocked and he pulls it up before failing down, he then looks at his arm to reveal another arm that was bone.
He shakes it off and it goes to the other side, he backs away in surprise and sees the ground that the arm was start to move as a person was coming out, but it was a normal person as the body was pale and rotting showing bone on it, he could tell it's a woman's body wearing a wedding dress.
She then lifts the veil revealing her face and her blue hair."I do."
She goes towards him and Judai runs away, the arm crawls towards him and then she grabs it.
Judai runs foward to get away.
Oh no, the hero of the story is in danger seeing this bride and is scared. Brooke said.
Judai then stops making the scene stop."I am not scared, I just don't want to know what will happen."
Oh ok. Brooke said.
The story continued and Judai runs away.
He goes up a hill and comes down, he almost trips but he stops himself seeing a gravestone.
"Wait a minute, this is from the old times where many foreign people came to Japan for a visit."Judai said checking the stone.
Judai then sees her up the hill walking towards him and he runs off, he then avoids a tree."Oh, no way I'm going to do that cliche."He goes foward.
He jumps over a river and said:"What the hell is going on with my life?! This is the second time I've seen a corpse wearing a wedding dress!"
He goes outside and gets on his bike driving away, he looks back and dodges many crows passing by him.
Later
He arrives back at the base and he bangs on the door."Let me in!"
"Right away sir!"One of his men said and they opened the gates allowing Judai to enter.
He parks the bike and Takashi saw him with some of the others.
"Dude what happened?"Takashi said.
"I just saw a scene that I didn't think I would see after coming back from Rosalind's world."Judai said.
"And what's that?"Kohta said.
Judai grunts."I saw a Corpse bride."
"What?!"They got shocked.
"Like a zombie?"Takashi said.
"No, she can talk, her body was decomposing, it's as if she was like this way before the outbreak."Judai said.
"But that makes no sense."Saya said.
"Where was she?"Rei asked.
"At the forest."He said.
"Why were you the forest?"Saeko asked.
"Look, I was just practicing my vows."He said.
"Oh."They understood.
"Well is she dead?"Shizuka asked.
"I didn't kill her."He said surprising them.
Akame came and said:"Well that's surprising."
"Oh come on, Squigly is a living dead girl and I'm not going to treat this girl any differently."Judai said.
"Well that's fair enough."Saya said."Hey did you have the ring?"
Judai checks his pockets."Damn it, she must have it, well don't worry I got spares."
"Well okay, but that was for me."Saya was mad pointing at Judai.
"I know I know, but I couldn't exactly ask her for the ring back."Judai said.
He then looks around and said:"Make sure she doesn't come here."He goes inside.
"He must be worried that she might appear."Shizuka said.
He goes inside walking down the halls rubbing his forehead."Calm down, she will not appear, this place is heavily guarded."
He then sees Ryu and Rin and they looked at him.
"What's wrong?"Ryu said.
"Nothing, who's inside my office?"Judai asked.
"Just Madeline, she wanted to see you."Rin said.
"Ok, I'll got see her."He goes inside.
He sees Madeline in her wheel chair that he got for her with a speaker attached to her arm, she looks at him holding her bear and said:"Papa."
"Yes Madeline."He pats her head with a smile."I'm here."
She moves a bit and he goes to sit on his desk."Sorry I just had a crazy day."
She nodded and goes foward going to the front of his desk."Papa sad?"
"No, I'm happy that your here."Judai said."Just need to rest."
She understood and gave him some space to play with her bear.
He turns around to look outside the window and leans back.
While Madeline plays a butterfly appears making her curious, then a familiar hand pats her head and she got surprised.
Judai hears a mechanical gasp making him confused."Madeline?"He turns around and on his right was the corpse bride shocking him.
She then leans foward putting her arms on the sides."You may kiss the bride!"Many crows appeared going around them and she leans foward to kiss him before everything went black.
Note: That's right, it's everyones favorite Corpse Bride from the movie of the same name, and she's married to Judai the guy that's living dead.
