Episode 2: Lumiose City Pursuit! (Ash)
Episode 2: Garchomp's Intense Chase! (Alex)
"Huff. Huff. Huff." Ash, Alex and Bonnie hurried through the streets of Lumiose.
"This way! Hurry up!" Bonnie said as Alex nodded.
"Okay! Froakie, you've got to hang in there!" Ash said to Froakie who was weak still.
"I'm trying..." Froakie said weakly as Alex continued while Bonnie and Ash stopped, Alex stopped to.
"Clemont! Go faster!" Bonnie said to her brother.
"I'm running as fast as I can, Ash, Alex. Don't wait for me! Get going!" Clemont said tiredly.
"Are you sure? I can assist in some bags." Alex said but clemont looked at him.
"Yes! Honest!" Clemont said. Alex nodded.
"You got it Clemont!" Ash said understanding Clemont.
"I can't believe how slow my brother is." Bonnie said being unreal.
Meanwhile, Somewhere Lumiose.
"Huh?" A woman said as her pidgey had her on a shoulder, ignoring the rustling tree.
"Unforgivable!" James said annoyingly.
"And embarrassing." Meowth added along.
"Ash! Alex! This way!" Bonnie said to both of them.
"Right!" Ash and Alex said together.
"Huh!?" Team Rocket said, shocked on hearing them.
"That's it! The Sycamore Pokemon Lab!" Bonnie said, pointing at a random building.
"It's the toddling twerps!" Meowth said as they passed by.
"Sycamore Pokemon Lab?" Jessie said confusingly.
"It must be for studying pokemon." James said.
"I'll wager all the strong and rare pokemon in there would make you fall over!" Meowth said as Wobbuffet got out of it's pokeball.
"Agreed!" Wobbuffet said as a branch suddenly snapped.
"Whoah!? Waah!" Team rocket freaked out when they fell.
"Hello!? Anyone!?" Alex said as Bonnie opened the door, Nobody seemed here.
"Hello? Professor Sycamore! Are you here?" Ash said, looking around with Alex.
"*Yawn* Coming... Huh?" The man said, noticing the three.
"Are you the professor?" Ash said, looking at the man.
"Yeah, Aren't you-" Alex said as Sycamore noticed Froakie. Injured bad. Cutting him off.
"Froakie, No!" Scyamore said, running over to him.
"Huh, You do know this Froakie, Professor?" Ash said as Alex stepped out of the way.
"I sure do. Sophie, Come quick!" Professor Sycamore said calling his assistant.
"Eh? Sophie?" Alex said as Professor Sycamore got Froakie.
"We've been so worried about you. You're trainer has been in recent contact with us." Professor Sycamore said as Froakie closed his eyes, Alex was bluntly confused.
"Trainer?" Alex said, confusingly.
"Froakie needs help." Sycamore said as Sophie got him.
"Right!" Sophie said, taking him away to be treated.
"Poor Froakie." Pikachu said.
"Thanks, Professor. We've been worried about Froakie too. So if Froakie's trainer on the way here too?" Ash said, looking at Sycamore.
"I'm afriad not. He contacted us to let us know he wanted to give up on froakie." Professor Sycamore said, talking to ash.
"Huh?" Ash said, being confused.
"Wait, What?" Pikachu added, also lost.
"What kind of sick trainer would do that!?" Alex said, being slightly angry.
"Huff. Huff. Huff. Oohhh." Clemont said as he opened the door and entered, tired as usual.
"You're so slow!" Bonnie said.
"How's Froakie?" Clemont said looking at the trio.
"Mmmm." Froakie said weakly in a glass pod. Sophie got working on what was wrong.
"Poor Froakie." Ash said, watching.
"Little guy took a big one." Alex added on, Looking at froakie.
"There's nothing to worry about." Professor Sycamore said as the four heard him.
"Huh?" Ash, Alex, Clemont & Bonnie said, turning and looking at Sycamore.
"Sophie is the absolute best at what she does!" Sycamore said as Ash looked.
"Great." Ash said, feeling better.
"Good thing. Froakie should be better." Alex said, looking at them. They soon got on some couches.
"I'm Professor Sycamore. I'm a Pokemon researcher working here in Kalos." Professor Sycamore said, introducing himself.
"Nice to meet you! My name's Ash. And this is my partner, Pikachu!" Ash said, introducing himself.
"I'm Alex, I was told to come here from a friend of yours about researching new things." Alex said as he introduced himself.
"My name's Bonnie. And this is my brother, Clemont!" Bonnie said, introducing herself and to her brother.
"It's truly an honor to meet you, Professor Sycamore!" Clemont said as alex nodded.
"Pikachu and I got here today from pallet town in Kanto." Ash said to Professor Sycamore.
"From Kanto?" Sycamore said, being amazed how someome travelled from very far.
"Right! I'm traveling on a Journey, So i can become a Pokemon Master." Ash said, telling his story.
"Yeah! Indeed!" Pikachu said, being with ash.
"And I went to Kalos to find something important to me." Alex explained as Sycamore was curious about Alex's words.
"What's your goal intended to be, Alex?" Professor Sycamore said, looking at Alex.
"To find my long lost family. It's a bit of weird story, I know is I woke up and I have this ripped apart picture of me and at least 5 other people." Alex said, sharing his story and pulling out a picture.
"Then welcome!" Sycamore said happily.
"Thank you." Alex said happily.
"Forgive me for not thanking you yet for saving Froakie. It's much appreciated." Sycamore said happily.
"The truth is, froakie saved us!" Ash said.
"Yeah, That's for sure." Alex said being happy.
"So, What's the deal with Froakie's trainer? What happened that would make him give froakie up?" Ash said, being slightly concerned.
"Well one of my numerous responsiblities is to give trainers their very first pokemon. Froakie's a Pokemon meant for new trainers." Professor Sycamore said, being responsible about what he does.
"Really?" Alex said, being slightly shocked.
"Yes, But this particular froakie is a bit different. Refusing to listen to it's trainer during battle. There have been times when Froakie ran away, Simply because it didn't like it's trainer! And several trainers have come back to my lab just to return it." Professor Sycamore said, recalling the times that Froakie was taken back for not listening properly.
"Huh?" Ash, Clemont and Bonnie all said surprisingly.
"Wow. Maybe some abusive trainers took froakie too far!" Alex whispered to himself. Feeling very bad for froakie.
"You mean more than one?" Ash said feeling bad. Clemont and Bonnie exchanged concerned looks.
"That must be rough." Pikachu said worringly.
"I'm sure Froakie acts that way for some reason." Professor Sycamore said to the four.
"So, Froakie's has had a hard life." Bonnie said.
"I've heard quite a few rumors about a new trainer's first pokemon like that, but it seemed absurd, so I never believed them!" Clemont stated, telling about odd rumors.
"Hey, Froakie." A voice that sounded weird before. Alex was first to hear it and looked.
"Huh?" Ash, Bonnie and Clemont said, looking to see a Garchomp see Froakie in the pod.
"Oh, Froakie. Poor fella." The Garchomp said worriedly, Everyone heard it and looked in awe.
"What in the world!?" Alex said, Seeing a Garchomp.
"Oh! Check it out! A Garchomp!" Ash said, seeing one.
"That's amazing!" Pikachu said, leaping on his shoulder.
"Whoa, I seen a Garchomp before. But not like one of these in a research lab." Alex said as he walked over to Garchomp, He then had memories from Sinnoh. He smiled at the pokemon.
"Yeah. You got a point there Alex." Ash said, looking at Garchomp.
"Better part is, It doesn't have a chip on it's fin. So you're a girl. Huh?" Alex said, petting her lightly.
"Yeah. I am." Garchomp said, feeling slightly okay.
"Garchomp lives here at the lab." Professor Sycamore said, walking over.
"Does she bite?" Alex asked Sycamore as Garchomp turned it's attention back to froakie.
"It has a good heart." Professor Sycamore said as Alex nodded.
"Froakie." Garchomp said.
"Garchomp, How are you feeling?" Sycamore said, petting her.
"Good." Garchomp said.
"Garchomp..?" Froakie said, opening it's eyes.
"Thank goodness." Garchomp said, looking at Froakie.
"Froakie will be fine, Don't worry. You can thank these people." Professor Sycamore said as Garchomp turned around.
"Nice to meet you, Garchomp!" Ash said, walking to it.
"Yeah. nice to meet you!" Pikachu agreed. Alex looked in awe.
"I know I remember seeing one. But she's cool!" Alex said as Sycamore chuckled.
"You really care a lot, don't you? Froakie's gonna be okay. Promise!" Ash said, petting her.
"Thanks, So much." Garchomp said happily.
"May I pet garchomp too, please? I've never seen a real Garchomp before!" Bonnie asked Professor Sycamore, Alex smiled.
"Of course. Garchomp would really like that!" Professor Sycamore said, lifting bonnie.
"Yay! Aw you're so cute! Good Pokemon." Bonnie said petting Garchomp.
"Aw. That you." Garchomp said, leaning to her.
"Hey, you like me!" Bonnie said happily.
"Professor." Clemont said, asking Sycamore.
"Hm?" Sycamore looked at Clemont.
"I've heard a lot about your research on Pokemon Evolution. Is it true?" Clemont asked Sycamore.
"Yeah. There are a lot more pokemon living right here at the lab than Garchomp." Sycamore said as Alex was in awe.
"Whoa! Nice." Alex said being amazed.
"Oh, I want to see them! I wanna see them!" Bonnie said excitingly.
"Bonnie, Calm down." Alex said but Bonnie ignored his words.
"Well I think we can do something about that. Cosette, look after Garchomp, won't you?" Sycamore said as he looked at Cosette.
"Of course, sure thing!" Cosette said as Clemont, Bonnie and Sycamore were about to see the Pokemon. Ash and Alex looked at Froakie.
"Huh? aren't you coming, Ash, Alex?" Clemont said to them both.
"I'll get to you later." Alex said, looking at Clemont.
"Yeah. I'll catch up with you." Ash said to Clemont proudly.
"Oh, Okay." Clemont said as he continued, Alex looked at froakie before he saw ash open the door.
"Huh?" Alex said as Ash entered but without much trouble. He entered too. Watching Ash.
"Hey froakie, I really want to thank you for saving us." Ash said as Froakie looked at him.
"Yeah. Thank you!" Pikachu said as Alex nodded.
"Indeed. You are a hero." Alex said as Froakie looked at him.
"Pikachu and I think you're awesome!" Ash said as Froakie looked weak still.
"Really? Thank.. you..." Froakie said, closing his eyes.
"I don't get it, I'd want a pokemon like you. Look what you did! You cared enough to save Pikachu. You're the best!" Ash said, giving encouraging words to froakie.
"He's right." Pikachu said, Alex smiled as Froakie closed his eyes. They looked at each other and nodded.
Transition: Professor Sycamore's Garden Lab.
"Wheee!" A Combee said as Bonnie was enjoying her time with the other Pokemon around her.
"Wow...!" Pikachu said as Ash and Alex entered the room.
"Wow! Amazing!" Ash said, looking around.
"Beautiful place..." Alex said. Being astounded.
"So, Ash. Alex. How's Froakie feeling?" Clemont said, asking the both of them.
"Much better! Froakie's real strong!" Ash said, being happy for Froakie still being okay.
"Yeah, He's got heart." Alex added on as the both nodded.
"Ash, Alex. I've never seen these Pokemon! There's almost too many pokemon to count!" Bonnie said, pointing at other pokemon.
"I think if you seen the world, then there is more Bonnie." Alex said as Bonnie looked puzzled before continuing on.
"Wow, there is even an Helioptile!" Ash said as Pikachu walked over.
"Yeah! Electric fellas!" Pikachu said as he saw the others and smiled.
"Hello!" The Marill, Zigzagoon and Helioptile said to the mouse.
"Hello." Pikachu said happily.
"Aw, Amazing of pikachu to introduce himself." Alex said, smiling.
"So Professor, what kind of evolution are you researching?" Ash asked the Professor who smiled.
"Yeah, is it something special?" Alex said, raising an eyebrow in addition.
"Well, if I told you two that Pokemon may have an additional evolutionary stage. What would you say?" Professor Sycamore said, Alex was most surprised on what he said.
"Additional Evoultionary stage?" Alex said being surprised.
"Are you serious?" Clemont said being in absolute shock.
"So you're saying that Garchomp can still evolve?" Clemont said as Alex was surprised like a sense kicked in. Back when he faced a certain trainer and a certain pokemon he bonded with.
"Possibly. That's my research." Professor Sycamore said. Alex was having flashbacks about how Steven had his Metagross and how it changed form.
"Whoa!" Ash said in shock.
"Unbelievable!" Clemont added.
"Where have I heard of this before..?" Alex said, being confused from when he heard it last time.
"There have been several reports about different pokemon evolving in a way that we researchers refer to as Mega Evolution." Professor Sycamore said, studying the research of Kalos.
"Mega Evoultion?" Ash said in confusion.
"I think I heard something about my battle say something of Mega Evolve?" Alex said, trying to jog his memory.
"Really?" Professor Sycamore said to Alex, Alex held his head.
"I'm not sure. My memory of that Hoenn league loss is still foggy." Alex said as Sycamore looked at the greenhouse.
"A lot of the mechanics are still a mystery. But we believe that a strong bond between Pokemon and Trainer as well as a special stone play a cruical role in evolving!" Professor Sycamore said as he explained more.
"Strong bond, huh?" Ash said, looking like he should be interested.
"Wow." Pikachu said as Bonnie was surprised as well.
"Wait, Ash. You and Pikachu have a Strong bond. Does it seem like you can Mega Evolve Pikachu if we find it's stone?" Alex said, looking at Ash and Pikachu. Knowing their bond and friendship since Sinnoh.
"Sorry, But those kinds don't exist." Professor Sycamore said, denying alex of his claim.
"Botheration." Alex said frusturatingly.
"What's more, a pokemon's able to return to it's previous form after it evolves this way!" Professor Sycamore finished, Ash was surprised.
"Ah! It can turn back!?" Ash said as Sycamore nodded. Team rocket was watching from above.
"That's entertaining to see!" Alex said. Wanting to see one for himself.
"Mega Evolution! Strong stuff!" Meowth said on what could happen.
"Further Evolution, after evolving!" James said, amazed on the remark.
"The way is clear! Every Pokemon's ours! Catching time's here!" Jessie said with confidence.
"It's ti-" Wobbuffet said out of his pokeball but he couldn't finish his sentence.
"SSHH!" Team Rocket silenced Wobbuffet.
"So, How're we gonna see for ourselves?" Alex said, as Team Rocket who were in disguise entered.
"Oh, fellow researchers?" Jessie said, asking in a kind tone.
"We've come to research Mega Evolution!" James added.
"You have?" Sophie said, entering confusingly.
"Hmmhmm." Team rocket cheerfully chuckled in disguise. Froakie opened his eyes to see a monitor of team rocket.
"Huh? Who's there? What the-" Froakie said. Noticing the suspecious people.
"We've come to be of Scientific service!" Meowth said.
"I wasn't told anything about this." Sophie said as she, cosette and Garchomp entered the building.
"I'll check with the professor." Cosette said turning around to find Sycamore.
"Huh?" Sophie said as Garchomp walked over.
"Who are you people?" Garchomp said to team rocket.
"You! You three! Those aren't professors!" Froakie said, leaving his pod and telling garchomp.
"Your not?!" Garchomp said, scolding the three.
"That's the froakie that blasted us off!" Meowth pointed at Froakie.
"Then thats the one who should feel our research wrath first." James whispered to them.
"So let's get ready to research!" The three of them said together.
"Now, please step aside! This procedure is not for the faint of heart!" Jessie said, putting sophie aside.
"Viola!" James said, throwing a cube like shape.
"Oh no you-" Froakie said but before he could finish, Garchomp got in the way.
"Froakie! ACK!" Garchomp said as a collar got around him.
"Garchomp...!?" Froakie said being scared.
"Ahh! Oh no, Garchomp!" Sophie cried to the pokemon. Team rocket ignored her.
"Not our intended target, but whatever!" Jessie whispered.
"Huh!?" Sophie said confusingly.
"They did say Garchomp might be able to Mega Evolve!" James said in amazement.
"Let's roll with the punches! It's a Garchomp grab!" Meowth said happily.
"Garchomp, we insist that you come along for this ride!" James said to the Pokemon.
"ARGH. ACK." Garchomp said in a lot of pain.
"Garchomp!" Froakie said, trying to get the collar off but failed.
"Gaaaaaah!" Garchomp said firing a hyper beam.
"Garchomp, What-" Sophie said as Garchomp cried louder.
"GET IT OFF!" Garchomp said, Ash, Alex, Clemont, Bonnie & Sycamore heard the noise.
"Hey, that's Garchomp!" Ash said as the four hurried over too see what the issue was.
"AHHH. HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp said firing hyper beam before it's eyes were dead red and looked at Team Rocket.
"AAH. HMM. YOU THREE." Garchomp said in a angry voice.
"Hold on! This isn't how we planned it!" Jessie freaked out a bit.
"Come on garchomp, go with the program!" James said, Pushing more buttons.
"Most peculiar." Meowth said surprisingly.
"GAAAH!" Garchomp cried in pain.
"Garchomp! Huh? What's going on?" Ash said as everyone entered the room.
"Professor! Those three did this!" Sophie said to Sycamore.
"huh? alright, who are you?" Professor Sycamore asked as Team Rocket took off their disguises and did their motto..
"Team Rocket?" Alex said, seeing them again, before Sycamore asked. Ash interrupted.
"They're bad guys who try to steal Pokemon!" Ash said, explaining again about team rocket.
"Try? We succeed!" Jessie said in delight.
"And today. That Garchomp will fill that need!" James added on.
"There's nothing like doing an evil deed!" Meowth finished, sycamore was stunned.
"It can't be! A talking Meowth!?" Professor Sycamore said, never seeing a talking pokemon before.
"The wisdom gushes out of my mouth." Meowth said as Garchomp eyed the three.
"HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp painly said as it fired Hyper beam, sending team rocket off.
"AAG, Foul! no fair!" Team rocket said being blasted off. Once again!
"Gaaagh. Ahh." Garchomp cried in pain.
"What, Garchomp? What's going on?" Ash asked to the Pokemon.
"HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp cried and fired a Hyper Beam.
"Look out!" Ash said as an attack was coming their way.
"OH-" Alex ducked in cover.
"Whoa!" Everyone avoided the attack.
"What was that for?!" Ash said being confused.
"Hey! Look at Garchomp's neck!" Professor Sycamore said as Garchomp still was in pain.
"ARRGH." Garchomp cried in pain.
"It's some sort of collar!" Professor Sycamore noticed what the problem was for garchomp.
"It's from those people!" Sophie said.
"What?" Sycamore said, shocked on the answer he heard.
"Garchomp jumped in to save froakie." Sophie said to Sycamore, knowing what Garchomp tried to do.
"AGH. GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF OF ME!" Garchomp said in pain before breaking out of the building and rampaging on the streets of Lumiose.
"Garchomp!" Ash said, looking at the broken window it came through.
"Garchomp!" Pikachu cried, the pokemon feeling pain.
"Garchomp must be in a lot of pain." Ash said, feeling bad for the pokemon.
"Well no kidding Sherlock!" Alex said to ash sarcastically.
"What's going to happen to Garchomp?" Clemont asked Alex.
"Let's go after it!" Ash said, hoping to help.
"Yeah!" Alex said, agreeing with his friend.
"Let's move!" Pikachu said.
"Please be very careful! Sophie, check to see if the other pokemon are okay!" Professor Sycamore said to Sophie who came to see if everyone was alright.
"Oh Clemont, I wish we could help poor garchomp out." Bonnie said to her brother.
"Then let's go too!" Clemont said, wanting to join Ash, Alex & Pikachu.
"Hmm." Bonnie said as they followed.
"Ash." Froakie got in front of ash.
"Froakie, what?" Ash said confusingly.
"Let me help you too!" Froakie said, Alex was surprised hearing what Froakie said.
"Great! You want to come?" Ash said as Froakie nodded.
"Will you!?" Pikachu said in joy.
"Yes! Follow me!" Froakie said, as he left the door in pursuit of Garchomp.
"What a responsible Pokemon, I must say!" Alex said, they chased Garchomp in pursuit.
"AHHH! HYPER BEAM! AAAH! ARRH!" Garchomp said, firing Hyper Beam on the buildings and streets then soaring through Lumiose city.
"Attention, citizens! There's a Garchomp currently on a wild rampage! Please evacuate the area immediatly!" Officer Jenny said, trying to get everyone safe. Garchomp started flying around when news reporter helicopters were chasing, getting a load of the scene.
"At present, Garchomp is flying toward Prism tower!" The reporter said with a cameraman watching, Garchomp in pain, noticed.
"Agh! No! Gah! HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp painfully said, firing a Hyper Beam at the helicopter which it dodged.
"Ah!? Garchomp is now unleashing random hyper beams! It just aimed one straight at our helicopter!" The reporter said as it was firing Hyper Beam around in all directions.
Meanwhile with Serena and Grace.
"Garchomp seems extremely agitated!" The reporter said as damage was being done.
"Hmm." Grace said, watching the news.
"Have a look at this! Something unbelivable is happening!" Grace said to Serena who was in the fridge, She seems agitated.
"Oh yeah? Well. Something unbelivable has happened to my face, okay?" Serena said sarcastically with band-aids on her face.
"Ah... oh." Grace said before she sipped her tea. Ignoring Serena. Serena came over to look at the tv, blantly confused.
"Huh? What movie is this?" Serena said in confusion.
"It's real! And live from lumiose city!" Grace exclaimed.
"Oh." Serena blankly said.
"Something awful is going on." Grace said, wondering what's happening.
Back with Alex, Pikachu & Ash.
"ARRRGH! HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp said, firing another hyper beam as people and their pokemon below were watching. Ash, Alex and Pikachu were watching.
"Garchomp! Huh?" Ash said, noticing Garchomp's pain and the people.
"Oh man, Lots of people here!" Alex said, looking at the crowd.
"Garchomp!" Pikachu cried, hoping it would stop feeling pain.
"There you are, Ash!" Bonnie said with Clemont arriving on the scene,
"It hurts! Get it off!" Garchomp wailed in despair.
"I've gotta try and get close to it." Ash said, wanting to help.
"Bold as always." Alex smirked at ash, always there for others.
"Ah! But that's dangerous!" Clemont retorted as Ash looked at him.
"No, Garchomp's the one whos in danger! I've got to find a way to try to get that collar off!" Ash said to Clemont.
"Really?" Pikachu said, wondering what to do.
"Hmm." Alex said, what was their plan.
"Got any ideas or plans, Clemont?" Alex said to Clemont.
"I know! If getting close to Garchomp is what you need to do, I think I just came up with a way!" Clemont said, knowing what to do, Surprising both Ash and Alex.
"You did?" Ash said in amazement.
"Wait, Really? That fast?" Alex said in a stunned motion.
"Follow along you two." Clemont said as they hurried to the back of prism tower.
"What're we doing back here?" Alex said in confusion,
"There's an emergency stairwell through that door. Good thing I brought my backpack!" Clemont said with a confident look.
"Huh?" Ash said, not knowing what Clemont meant.
"Why though?" Alex said, being very very confused.
"Hm. The future is now, thanks to science! Alright, Clemontic gear, on! Aipom Arm, go!" Clemont said, pushing his glasses as his backpack turned into an arm and stuck with the exact coding material.
"What in the world-" Alex said being confused.
"Huh? Wow! Check that out!" Ash said to Pikachu as they were amazed.
"Wow!" Pikachu said in awe.
"How..." Alex said as the code was solved.
"Now we can get in!" Clemont said as the arm was retreated back into his backpack.
"Huh?" Alex said, watching the arm.
"Man, Science is so amazing!" Ash said being amazed with Clemont's technology.
"Never heard you say that before, I got to put that down as a first." Alex said, making notes for his head.
"You've got that right! It's my brothers invention!" Bonnie said, bragging a bit.
"I must admit, I'm kind of good at these things." Clemont said as the door was unlocked, Alex entered first with Ash, pikachu and froakie following behind.
"Thanks Clemont." Ash said as they entered.
"Yeah. Thanks!" Alex stopped and looked at Clemont.
"Sure thing! What?" Clemont said as he looked up too see.
"HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp cried in pain as Hyper Beam hit below. Missing them.
"WAAAAH!" Clemont and Bonnie cried, Avoiding being hit.
"Guh!" Alex said as he covered himself from the damage.
"Clemont, Bonnie, you okay!?" Ash said with Pikachu and Froakie watching.
"Please speak if your alive!" Alex said, hoping if they were alright.
"Yeah! But don't worry about us! You two just get going!" Clemont said peeking through the cracks.
"Alright. We'll try to stop Garchomp's intense rampage! Let's go Ash." Alex said to Ash whom he nodded.
"Okay, were on it!" Ash said as they hurried upward.
Back on the streets outside Prism Tower.
"Officer Jenny!" Professor Sycamore said from the crowd.
"Professor Sycamore!" Officer Jenny said, turning to see the man.
"I'm so sorry about the trouble, So where's Garchomp?" Professor Sycamore apologized, wondering where Garchomp was.
"Hey, up there!" A viewer said, noticing someone.
"Huh?" Sycamore and Jenny said as they turned to see Alex, then Ash.
"It's two kids!" A random viewer said as Ash was up, Alex followed and saw the crowd, looking scared.
"Whoa.. The view is pretty scary, I must say." Alex said, knowing his fear of heights.
"What!? Alex and Ash!?" Professor Sycamore said, what were they doing?
"Huh!?" Ash said, noticing Garchomp. Ash followed behind.
"Agh.. Argh." Garchomp cried in agony.
"Easy there girl." Alex calmly said wanting Garchomp to stop feeling it's pain.
"Okay, Garchomp." Ash said as Garchomp heard him.
"HMM? HYPER BEAM!" Garchomp painly said as Ash, Alex, Froakie and Pikachu dodged the Hyper beam. Alex felt scared and surprised at the same time.
"Whoa! Wow. Okay. Now it's scary." Alex cried, Bonnie and Clemont looked from below.
"Oh, I wonder if both Ash and Alex are alright." Bonnie said, watching.
"Please garchomp, you've gotta calm down!" Ash said to Garchomp, being in pain.
"IT HURTS!" Garchomp cried in agony.
"Calm down!" Pikachu pleaded for it to stop.
"Let us speak to you for a few seconds!" Froakie said
"Garchomp, you're in pain. We understand it." Alex said, as Helicopters were viewing the shot.
"There's two boys up on prism tower, one seems to be trying to talk to Garchomp." The reporter said as Serena examined the both of them. Grace spoke.
"I wonder if that kid in front is Garchomp's trainer?" Grace said in confusion as Serena looked.
"Argh!" Garchomp cried and flew higher on Prism tower.
"No! Garchomp!" Alex said, watching Garchomp fly away.
"Garchomp! Come back!" Ash said, but it was too late. She fled them, for now.
"Garchomp!"
"What now?" Alex said, being frustrated about the situation.
"Hm.. Huh?" Ash said, before he noticed a ladder.
"What?" Alex said, then he saw the ladder.
"Ash, You are crazy." Alex exclaimed as ash carried Pikachu and Froakie on his shoulders. Climbing Prism tower.
"But then again, He's a freakin badass!" Alex thought as Bonnie and Clemont looked before Bonnie pointed.
"There they are!" Bonnie said, seeing Ash get to the top.
"Huh?" Clemont said, noticing Ash.
"I can't believe how brave ash is when it comes to helping out Pokemon." Bonnie said to her brother.
"..." Clemont was amazed with Ash, Something then clicked inside.
"I need to get up there." Clemont said, being serious on what he needs to do. He hurried to the blocked off door.
"Wait, im going with you!" Bonnie said, following.
"Now." Clemont said before he moved some rock pieces with his Aipom arm and got inside. Bonnie tried entering before Clemont helped her.
"Take my hand, Bonnie!" Clemont said, grabbing his little sister and dragging her inside.
"Thank you!" Bonnie thanked Clemont.
"Argh. Hyper Beam!" Garchomp said, firing a hyper beam around. Ash got to the top and looked dead-on at Garchomp.
"I'm here to help Garchomp." Ash said, Being serious on the situation.
"What an amazing trainer he is." Alex said happily, his friend was mature alright.
"Unbelievable! That boy has climbed to the top of Prism Tower!" The reporter said in shock as Serena and Grace were in awe.
"GAH! Hyper Beam!" Garchomp said firing hyper beam, pikachu had enough.
"Garchomp..!" Pikachu said, trying to use Thunderbolt before ash called out to him.
"No, Pikachu!" Ash said, stopping Pikachu.
"Huh?" Pikachu said being confused.
"Wait, I don't want you to attack Garchomp." Ash said, wanting to help Garchomp than hurt it.
"But she's gonna go crazy!" Pikachu exclaimed, Ash looked at Garchomp.
"Gah!" Garchomp cried as Clemont weakly got up to the next floor.
"Pull yourself together, Clemont!" Bonnie yelled from below as Clemont made it.
"My legs. Huh? Where's Ash?" Clemont said, looking around to see Alex approach them.
"Up there. You two." Alex said, pointing up.
"Oh, Up there? At the top of the tower!" Bonnie said, noticing them.
"GAH! Hyper Beam!" Garchomp said, firing a weak hyper beam.
"Garchomp, Can you hear me? I know it hurts. You're in a lot of pain." Ash said, Asking the pokemon what the problem is.
"It does hurt right?" Pikachu asked Garchomp.
"Easy girl." Froakie said, calming Garchomp from it's pain.
"I just wanna help you. Please let me get that collar off you so we can go back now." Ash said, being kind to it.
"Nooo!" Garchomp cried in pain.
"Please. So what do you say?" Ash said as Garchomp was feeling more and more pain.
"Agh.. Argh! It hurtsss...!" Garchomp said nearing the ledge as everyone from Lumiose was watching.
"Wait, Garchomp. Look out!" Ash cried as Froakie jumped.
"Frubbles! Here we go!" Froakie said chucking Frubbles at Garchomp's feet. Trapping it.
"Nice thinking Froakie!" Ash said as Garchomp still cried in pain.
"GET IT OFF!" Garchomp cried in pain.
"We got to destroy that collar!" Ash said, noticing and heading to Garchomp.
"You're right!" Pikachu said hurrying to Ash
"Gnh!" Ash strained to get the collar off.
"Get off of me!" Garchomp said.
"Garchomp, hang on. I'll get this thing off of you!" Ash said as Garchomp struggled.
"Hyper beam.." Garchomp fired a weak hyper beam.
"Pikachu, Use iron tail on the collar!" Ash said to his partner pokemon.
"Got it! Iron, Tail!" Pikachu said before hitting Iron tail on the Collar, Garchomp stopped being in a lot of pain.
"Ahh." Ash said as Garchomp calmed down from it's pain.
"Ahh, Ugh.. My head." Garchomp weakly said.
"Are you okay?" Ash asked Garchomp who was hurt badly.
"Garchomp!" Pikachu said happily. Garchomp was back to normal!
"She's alright!" Froakie said happily.
"That must've hurt, help's on the way. Don't worry." Ash said, trying to promise the pokemon that things were alright.
"Thank you.." Garchomp said to ash.
"Oh Garchomp. WHOA!" Pikachu said before the floor caved out on him.
"Huh? Pikachu!" Ash cried as Pikachu fell from Lumiose Tower.
"WAAAH!" Pikachu cried, falling from the tower's top floor.
"Pikachu!" Ash said, diving for Pikachu. Alex was in shock, Bonnie and Clemont were shocked. Sycamore and Jenny were in shock, Why was Ash diving for pikachu at a time like this? Suddenly a strange swoop grabbed them both.
"Whoah!? What was that?!" Alex said seeing it grab ash.
"What's that?" Sycamore said, looking at the strange pokemon. It was soon approaching the ground.
"Huh? Whoa! it's you! That Pokemon." Ash said, recongizing the pokemon from earlier before having flashbacks of when he first saw it, He landed safely where he met the pokemon.
"Thanks a lot." Ash said, thanking the Pokemon.
"Anytime." Mega Blaziken said before dashing off to Ash's surprise.
"What was that..?" Alex said being amazed, It was a pokemon. But what kind of Pokemon was it?
"Ah!" Clemont sighed in relief, Alex was morely confused.
"Oh! What a relief!" Bonnie said
"Wow! You saw that!?" Ash said to his partner who was unhurt.
"Yeah. I did!" Pikachu said, watching it dash off.
"Hey, Ash! Pikachu!" Professor Sycamore said, running to the trainer.
"Huh?" Ash said, turning around to see Sycamore.
"Thank goodness the two of you didn't get hurt." Sycamore said, happy that they are okay.
"We're both doing great. And Garchomp is back to normal." Ash said being fine, happy to help Garchomp.
"Thank you, Ash. Officer Jenny is on her way to get them now." Professor Sycamore said.
"Professor, About that pokemon." Ash said, looking at Sycamore at the Mega Pokemon jumped onto a building that looked directly at him.
"Great job, Blaziken!" The man said to his Pokemon.
"Thank you, Master." Blaziken said before they both vanished. Alex and Ash saw it and were stunned!
"Oh!?" Ash said, being surprised.
"What?" Alex whispered to himself. How did it do that!?
"That was Blaziken's mega evolution. That's Mega Blaziken!" Professor Sycamore said, seeing the first Mega Evolved pokemon ever!
"Mega Blaziken?" Ash said confusingly.
"A Mega Blaziken?" Alex whispered to himself, hearing from the tower.
"Another research topic for me!" Professor Sycamore said, knowing more details coming soon.
"Mega Blaziken! Thanks for everything!" Ash said, calling to the Pokemon that saved him.
"Yeah! Thank you!" Pikachu said, saying a thank you.
Back with Serena and Grace.
"Ah, What a relief!" Serena sighed happily.
"..." Serena looked at the TV screen, something was inside her that changed. Or memories?
"Hm, that boy. No, it couldn't be." Serena said, looking at ash.
Next morning at Sycamore's Lab which was damaged.
"Hope you all got some sleep. Even though it's a mess in there." Professor Sycamore said, looking at the damaged building.
"It's fine, I slept perfectly. Though I hate Team rocket for what they did." Alex said, feeling fine from last night.
"Well, I slept like a log!" Ash said being perfectly fine.
"Good for you." Alex said to his friend.
"Best sleep I've had in a long time." Bonnie said delightfully.
"Thank you for everything!" Clemont said, thanking the professor.
"I guess both of your real journeys being now. Doesn't it, Ash? Alex?" Professor Sycamore said to the trainers.
"Yep!" Ash said, readying for a new journey.
"Yeah!" Alex agreed, ready to continue his quest.
"Oh and by the way, have you both received a Kalos region Pokedex, yet?" Professor Sycamore said, asking the two of them.
"No." Ash said.
"Never." Alex said, shaking his head. He reached for his coat pocket.
"Then both of you please take this with you on your journeys and make good use of it." Profesor Sycamore said, giving them Pokedexes.
"Thank you professor. Can I help assist you with Mega Evolution with Pokemon during my journey?" Alex said, wanting to help out.
"Of course. It would be an honor." Professor Sycamore said as Alex filled himself with delight.
"Oh thank you so much! I won't fail you!" Alex said happily to work with another Professor.
"Thanks a lot, professor! Are we ready to go, buddy?" Ash said to Sycamore before his partner.
"I'm indeed ready for this adventure!" Pikachu excitingly said as he was hyped.
"Good luck with your research, professor! Bye!" Ash said, readying to leave.
"Yeah, Bye-" Alex said before he turned around hear ash get surprised.
"AAH!" Ash said getting frubbled on.
"Huh?" Pikachu said confusingly. It was Froakie standing there.
"Froakie?" Ash said, being confused.
"What's going on?" Alex said as Froakie slowly knocked a Pokeball at ash.
"Let me join." Froakie said looking at Ash.
"Hey! I think it wants to go with you." Professor Sycamore said as Alex was in shock by what he said.
"What!? Already a Starter?" Alex said that shocked him most.
"I can't believe it! Froakie chose you!" Clemont said in amazement.
"It really likes ash! That's so sweet!" Bonnie said happily.
"A strange froakie chose ash, Guess boldness earns froakies respect." Alex said, trying to analyze the situation.
"You think so, huh? So froakie. Do you wanna come with us?" Ash said as Froakie hopped over to Ash.
"Yes, Please!" Froakie said as he tapped the pokeball, and a red beam hit it and he got in the pokeball and wobbled a bit before staying in.
"Huh?!" Ash said, surprised that froakie chose him.
"Wow. Already a capture." Alex said in very much awe.
"It's awesome you're coming with us, Froakie." Ash said to the captured froakie.
"Nice though." Alex said with a smile on his face.
"Heh, Pikachu, Froakie's our first friend in Kalos!" Ash said to his partner pokemon.
"Welcome, Friend!" Pikachu said.
"Yes! I got a froakie! Yeah!" Ash said, happily to the captured pokemon.
"Yippee!" Pikachu happily said alongside.
"Good for you ash." Alex said as Ash showed off his first new pokemon.

"Breakfast. Eat it all up!" Serena said as she had pokemon food to her Rhyhorn.
"Rhy." Rhyhorn said as he started eating the food.
"Wow rhyhorn, I have this feeling that something interesting is about to happen!" Serena said as she thought hard for a moment.
"It must be that boy!" Serena thought as she had flashbacks to a much more younger ash than she thought.
"Right, let's go." Serena said, getting up. Wind blowing her hair.
