"Ah. Umm. Hmm." Serena said checking out her hats before tossing the blue ribbon hat aside in shame. She then saw two more hats on her table..
".." Serena was looking at the hats when a knock on the door came in.
"Hmm. Yeah come in." Serena said as the door opened, it was her mother: Grace.
"Fletchling." The bird pokemon said, entering Serena's room.
"Are you going out?" Grace said as Serena nodded. She then grabbed the two hats.
"Hey mom. Which one should I wear?" Serena said, Grace looked at them and smiled.
"Hmm. I'd go with that." Grace said, picking the hat that looked like a cap.
"Hmm? Okay, this one." Serena said, picking the pink hat instead, annoying and confusing Grace.
"Chling." Fletchling said, landing on Serena's hat.
"If you already knew, why did you ask?" Grace said being confused on serena's weird choice.
"Which ever one you didn't pick is the cuter one, that's why." Serena said, tossing the other hat aside and wearing her other hat.
"Fletchling!" Fletchling said, Grace wanted to see what serena was planning.
"I see. So where are you going?" Grace said, being puzzled.
"Lumiose City, to see Professor Sycamore and get my very first pokemon!" Serena said excitingly, starting her new journey.

Meanwhile in Lumiose City, With Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, Alex & Pikachu.
"Look at them, having fun. That's the way." Alex said, watching Bonnie and Pikachu having fun.
"Haha!" Pikachu said happily
"Come on! Hurry it up, you two!" Bonnie cried out, wanting them to hurry.
"Calm down there Bonnie, No need to rush-" Alex said, trying to calm her down.
"Ash, Alex, You can both register for the Kalos League over this way!" Bonnie said, pointing to their location.
"Got it Bonnie." Ash said to Bonnie who was more excited than usual.
"Yeah, We know, Bonnie!" Alex said, wanting to calm bonnie doen a bit.
"There's no need to rush the Pokemon Center will still be there." Clemont said as Ash and Alex looked at him.
"Thanks a lot, Clemont." Ash said, thanking his friend.
"Yeah, Thank you very much." Alex said, thanking clemont as a friend for him.
"It's nice of you to bring us both here together." Ash said to the smart glasses boy.
"Please think nothing of it, Ash. Alex. I can confess, I'm a little in awe with you two." Clemont said, being embarrassed a bit.
"Wait, Seriously?" Alex said, being surprised on Clemont's words.
"In awe?" Ash said, being confused what clemont said.
"You were willing to do anything you could to help Pikachu and Sycamore's Garchomp back there. Just watching you gave me courage. And alex, being able to watch ash and see what he improvises to help others from danger is your concern to save them is an idea I would never think of before." Clemont said, watching ash and he had flashbacks of what he was able to do.
"Oh come on. It wasn't that big of a deal." Ash said, trying to brush off his embarassment.
"It was risky, But ash always shows he would do anything to help out pokemon." Alex said to his friend.
"It was. I can totally understand why froakie chose you." Clemont said as Alex began to think.
"From his actions? Bravery is the word I guess." Alex said, being a little chucklesome.
"Hmm." Clemont said as he stopped.
"..." Ash and Alex stopped and noticed Clemont, he was watching the most important place he wanted to see.
"Clemont?" Alex said as Clemont watched the tower.
"I'll just have to do better." Clemont said, wanting to do better as he stared at the tower.
"Hmm?" Ash said in confusion, what was Clemont saying?
"Sorry, just talking to myself." Clemont said as they four followed onward and heading into themselves into a pokemon center.
Pokemon Center, Somewhere. Lumiose City.
"Aah, ha ha ha." Bonnie said excitingly.
"Ooh, Wow." Alex said, looking around the big Pokemon Center.
"Good morning." Nurse joy said happily to them all.
"Good morning to you, Nurse Joy." Ash, Clemont and Bonnie said to the Nurse.
"Why, Good morning. M'lady." Alex said, bowing to Nurse Joy happily.
"Aw, Thanks. At this Pokemon Center, helping Pokemon in need is our number one goal. We're here for trainers and Pokemon alike." Nurse joy said as Kalos was different alright.
"Trainers and Pokemon!? Awesome!" Pikachu said happily.
"Wow. That's a relief." Alex said being happy since it's
"I was hoping you can help me register for the Kalos League." Ash said, as Pikachu hopped on his shoulder.
"Yes. Me too Nurse Joy. Were both competing for the League together this region." Alex said, holding his own pokedex.
"I sure can do that for you both." Nurse joy said happily to the both of them.
"Really? How?" Alex said, wanting to know in curiousity.
"If you please touch this panel with your pokedex." Nurse joy said, giving them the solution to what they need to do.
"Okay." Ash said, walking to the panel. Alex just looked at Nurse joy.
"Simple as that?" Alex said looking at nurse joy.
"Simple as that." Nurse joy said as Ash put his Pokedex on the panel and registered.
"Ash from Pallet town, Is now registered to enter the Kalos League. Number of badges in your posession. Zero. We wish you the best of luck."
"Hmm." Ash said, taking his pokedex.
"My turn." Alex said happily as he softly put his Pokedex on the panel.
"Alex from Celestic Town, Is now registered to enter the Kalos League. Number of badges in your posession. Zero. We wish you the best of luck."
"Wow." Alex said in amazement as he took the pokedex.
"You both are all set now." Nurse joy said as both Alex and Ash were set on the Kalos League.
"Awesome, And i'm gonna win!" Ash said with determination, Alex smugged.
"No. I am!" Alex said as Ash wasn't having any of it.
"Oh no, It will be me." Ash said being more determined to win for real.
"Let's see at the Kalos League." Alex said, betting on Ash's goal.
"Yeah, And it's my next step in becoming a Pokemon Master!" Ash said, wanting to win a league for the first time.
"And every registered trainer is eligable to receive a Kalos region badge case, here." Nurse joy said as a wigglytuff held two kalos gym badge cases for Alex and Ash to help them on their journey.
"Here you both go." Wigglytuff said happily as it approached the group.
"Whoa." Alex said, surprised to see wigglytuff.
"A Wigglytuff!" Ash said in amazement.
"Awesome!" Pikachu said, looking at wigglytuff.
"Why, Yes. Here in the Kalos Region, my able pokemon center assistant is Wigglytuff." Nurse joy said, introducing them all to her caretaking pokemon.
"Change of pace. I like it." Alex said, looking happy at wigglytuff.
"That's great, thanks Wigglytuff." Ash said, politely taking his kalos badge case.
"Yeah. Thank you so much!" Alex said happily, taking his also.
"You're very welcome you two!" Wigglytuff said to the group.
"You two are all registered. Good luck! Train and always do your best." Nurse joy said happily to the two of them.
"Right!" Ash said to the Nurse.
"Understood, Nurse Joy!" Alex said, bowing to Nurse joy to show respect.
"Heh, Count on it!" Ash said to his partner pokemon.
"I got it!" Pikachu said happily.
Meanwhile near a cafe in Lumiose City.
A group of three suspiscous people were on a table, enjoying their food when they put a cube that signified a holocaster of their own. It was team rocket, telling Giovanni their own plan.
"Good news, Boss, we arrived at the Kalos Region on time and according to plan." Meowth said in his disguise.
"Our goal is to catch as many rare and powerful pokemon as possible." James said, promising not to fail.
"And were totally commited to that goal. You can count on us." Jessie said, wanting to not fail that promise as a strange tentacle took a Croissant from the table.
"Good, I'm certain the Pokemon you catch will be an important addition to our work. Get to it." Giovanni said, wanting everyone to work on team rocket and never to fail them since it was their goal.
"Sir!" All three members said as the transition cutted off.
"Heheh. Yes!" They all chuckled before being excited about their plan.
"The boss said for us to get to it!" James said in joy.
"Counting on us! Yippee yeah!" Meowth said in excitement.
"We're the first stubborn team rocket to take over Kalos cause no one does it like we do!" Jessie said before they calmed down and were excited. People wondered if they were goofy or what.
"Hee!" They all said before James noticed his Croissant was gone.
"My croissant?" James said being confused, below the table was a pokemon who looked at it.
"Inkay." The pokemon said as it ate the Croissant.
Meanwhile at a Pokemon Center phone booth.
"AAH!?" Ash said as a Rotom face covered the phone booth before alex was puzzled to see what it was. It's a Rotom!
"What the?" Alex said as the Rotom face suddenly laughed.
"Hahaha!" Rotom said, laughing.
"Hey, Rotom." Ash said as Rotom backed away with it's smile.
"Hi Rotom!" Pikachu said to rotom.
"Rotom? Nice." Alex said being amazed at a rotom and then pulled out his Pokedex to scan it.
"Rotom: The Plasma Pokemon. Research continues on this Pokémon, which could be the power source of a unique motor." The Pokedex said, reading Rotom.
"Ash? Oak, Ash's here!" Rotom said as Oak hurried over, Alex remembered Oak.
"Hello Ash! How are things so far?" Professor Oak said, seeing Ash once again.
"Great! We arrived safely in the Kalos Region. We're gonna start our journey soon." Ash said as Alex smiled to Oak who knows he made it safely.
"Good. Have fun on the road!" Professor Oak said to make sure they are carefully safe.
"Thanks. I already got my first Kalos Pokemon." Ash said to Oak who was amazed.
"Wonderful!" Professor Oak said, being more excited too see it.
"Check it out." Ash said as he opened the pokeball, revealing it to be Froakie who saw Oak.
"Ah! What have we here? A froakie! A Kalos water type pokemon!" Professor Oak
"Hi." Froakie said, never seeing Oak before with a concern look.
"You're right, and you know everything." Ash said, being excited.
"He's a strong adorable little fella. That's for certain." Alex said as Froakie looked and smiled.
"Can I see?" Rotom said getting in the way suddenly.
"Hey Rotom! I can't see! Move!" Professor Oak claimed as he grabbed rotom to move out of the way.
"Ahaha, Thunderbolt!" Rotom said, using thunderbolt and shocking Oak and laughing.
"Oh dear." Alex said seeing Oak thunderbolted.
"Aaah... Haha." Ash said before chuckling in nervousness.
"Uhh. Haha." Froakie said being a bit embarrassed.
"Interesting." Alex said, giving a little laugh too.
Outside the Pokemon Center.
"Guys! Thanks for waiting!" Ash said, seeing Bonnie and Clemont.
"Yeah. We're sorry for taking too long in there!" Alex said as they approached them, exhausted.
"Hi you two, didn't you tell us that you were going to challenge the santalune gym first?" Clemont said, knowing they'll challenge the first gym together.
"Really? I didn't know that." Alex said, he didn't remember that earlier but he accepted it anyways.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure the gym leader should be back by now." Ash said, feeling confident about the battle.
"I think that the best way to get to Santalune City is by traveling Route 4 all the way there." Clemont said, looking at his map to the next city by travel.
"Then Route 4 it is!" Ash said in excitement.
"But, How do we know where it is?" Alex said, being confused but ash smiled to his friend.
"We'll just follow the way it is. Aren't you psyched, Pikachu?" Ash said to alex before looking at Pikachu who was on his shoulder.
"I totally am!" Pikachu said being exactly excited as he is.
"Froakie, you're gonna be great!" Ash said to Froakie who was on his other shoulder.
"Thank you!" Froakie said with encouraged happiness.
"So, why don't we hit the road?" Clemont said, being ready.
"Well, let's go!" Bonnie said happily as Ash and alex were confused.
"Huh?" Ash said in surprise.
"Already leaving to the next route?" Alex said in confusion.
"The sooner we leave, the sooner we're there." Clemont said, readying for their own journey.
"You don't have to show me around anymore." Ash said, wanting to be ready for his journey alone.
"Well. I do want to go, I'm new to Kalos and I need to learn a lot about Kalos." Alex said, pleading his own case however.
"Really, Ash, Alex. We're all really really good friends now, right? So we're going with it." Clemont said, he seemed really interested in Ash and Alex on their skills to work together.
"No joke!?" Ash said in surprise, they wanted to join?
"Really?" Pikachu said in surprise.
"Wait, You're serious?" Alex said as he was surprised to hear them.
"We're serious. Remember what you did back there? You showed me what it's like to have real courage! I know I can get stronger, we've both can get stronger traveling with you two!" Clemont said remembering what Ash did.
"You're right, Clemont!" Bonnie said to her brother.
"So. That's Okay?" Clemont said being in delight for them helping join their squad.
"Of course it's okay!" Ash said happily.
"Yeah, I'm fine with it." Alex said nodding to Clemont.
"Travelling with friends is way more fun!" Ash said in joy.
"Besides, you know what they say: The more the merrier!" Alex said knowing a good quote.
"Alright, It's a deal! We'll have a great time!" Clemont said as he held out his hand.
"Yeah, we sure will!" Ash said as the both of them shook hands with Clemont.
"Now, That's what I call a friendship bringing." Alex said as Clemont chuckled.
"Hey! No fair, I can't reach!" Bonnie pouted as they realized and lowered to the ground.
"Down we go." Alex said as Bonnie reached in.
"Let's go meet lots and lots of Pokemon!" Bonnie said happily.
"Right! Good friends! Together!" Clemont said nodding to them all.
"And always to the end!" Alex said to them all.
"Kalos! Here we come!" Ash said as Alex smiled.
"It's an adventure we'll have fun together!" Alex said happily.
"Yeah!" Everyone said holding their hand in the sky.
Meanwhile, Back at Serena's Home.
"Rhyhorn." Serena said to her ride pokemon.
"Rhy." Rhyhorn said.
"Gotta go, wish me luck. Hmmhmm." Serena said.
"Rhy!" Rhyhorn said happily to Serena.
"So do you know which pokemon you want?" Grace asked Serena.
"Mm-hmm!" Serena said happily to her mother.
"Which one?" Grace in surprise.
"It's a secret. Hmm." Serena said as the wind blew her hair.
"Can't wait for it." Grace said in delight for Serena.
"Well, I'm off. Later!" Serena said, leaving her home.
"Bye, take care!" Grace said watching Serena go.
"Rhyyy." Rhyhorn said in his goodbye.
"Don't forget to practice your Rhyhorn racing!" Grace said wanting serena to practice.
"I won't! Bye!" Serena said to her mother and waving.
"Rhyy." Rhyhorn cried to Serena.
"I guess we'll just see about that." Grace said feeling confident for Serena.
Meanwhile, Back on Route 4.
"Dedene. Nene. Nyah. Nee!" A wild Dedenne said scouting around before reaching a berry and trying to break the branch.
"Hahah. Oh?" Pikachu and Froakie said playing around.
"Hey, What's up you two?" Ash said looking at his Pokémon.
"Yeah. Is something the matter?" Alex said as everyone stopped.
"Come on!" Dedenne said still trying to break it off.
"Huh?" Froakie said looking around for the noises.
"What is that noise?" Pikachu said wondering what it was.
"COME ON- Oh no!" Dedenne said before it broke and freaked out.
"Oof!" Pikachu said as it bounced off his head.
"Huh?" Froakie said in confusion.
"What is that thing?" Alex said looking at the berry as Pikachu approached it.
"Is that- WHOAH!" Pikachu said before a shock hit the berry.
"Aah!" Bonnie said as the berry bounced off him.
"What was that?" Alex said being surprised.
"Oh, Bonnie!" Ash said in surprise,
"Bonnie, are you okay?" Clemont said to her little sister.
"Well that was a shock!" Bonnie said, making a good joke.
"Where did it come from?" Clemont said in confusion.
"What was it?" Alex said being also confused.
"Hmm." Pikachu and Froakie said looking around.
"Huff Huff." Dedenne said hiding well in the trees.
"Huh?" Pikachu said looking.
"Hmm, Maybe it wanted this?" Bonnie said.
"There it is.." Dedenne said before it rustled through the grass.
"Huh?" Clemont and Bonnie said as Pikachu got in the way.
"Knock it off! Will you!?" Pikachu said approaching the Dedenne.
"Whoa! What is that?" Alex said in shock.
"Never seen that Pokemon!" Ash said in surprise.
"What is it?" Alex said raising an eyebrow.
"That's my berry!" Dedenne said wanting the red berry.
"Ohh! It's so cute!" Bonnie said as it held the berry.
"That berry-" Dedenne said before Pikachu got in the way once again.
"Stop." Pikachu said to the Pokemon.
"Move!" The Dedenne scowled.
"Make me little boy." Pikachu said as they exchanged electricity.
"They're exchanging electricity. That's awkward." Alex said in confusion.
"It sure doesn't look like it's afraid of us." Bonnie said looking at the pokemon.
"They're electric types. So they can communicate with electricity." Clemont said, knowing the type.
"Oh, So that's an electric type." Ash said as he pulled out the pokedex he got.
"I knew it!" Alex said as he pulled out his Pokedex also and scanned the Pokemon.
"Dedenne, The Antenna Pokemon: A Electric And Fairy Type. Dedenne communicates long distance with other Dedenne by sending radio waves through its antenna-like whiskers." The Pokedex's robot voice said, getting to the surprise of everyone.
"Wow! So that's a Dedenne!" Ash said to the Pokemon.
"I feel like-" Alex said before Bonnie cried out.
"I want it so bad!" Bonnie exclaimed to everyone.
"Aw." Alex said feeling bad for bonnie.
"Hey! You'll keep it for me, won't you?" Bonnie said to her big brother.
"Wait, What? Bonnie, what do you mean?" Alex said, she was very young to own a pokemon.
"Keep it?" Clemont said in surprise.
"Yeah. He'll keep it for me until I'm old enough to become a trainer." Bonnie said as Alex did seem concern.
"That's a long way away though..." Alex said to Bonnie.
"Pretty, pretty please? I promise I'll take care of it." Bonnie said to Clemont.
"Hmm, let me see." Clemont said as Alex gave a smile.
"Aw, do it." Ash said wanting bonnie to have one.
"Yeah. For the little ones!" Alex said wanting Bonnie to have one.
"I can help you catch it if you want?" Ash said, wanting to help clemont.
"Darn, I thought I wanted to get it." Alex said, still wanting a Pokemon.
"You will? Thanks a lot, Ash!" Clemont said happily.
"Alright then, Let's catch dedenne." Clemont said as Bonnie understood happily.
"Hmm. huh? Right." Bonnie and Clemont worked together.
"Hey Dedenne, you wanted this. Right?" Bonnie said, wanting to get the berry to Dedenne.
"Yeah.. I want to." Dedenne said approaching the berry.
"It must've thought that Pikachu was gonna take it." Clemont said as he thought Pikachu would eat it.
"Huh?" Ash said hearing a cry of a pokemon.
"That berry is mine!" A Pokemon cried charging in.
"A Pidgey!" Clemont said as Bonnie and Dedenne freaked out.
"No!" Dedenne cried as Alex saw an opportunity.
"Now's my chance! Pokeball! GO!" Alex said, stepping in front of Dedenne and throwing an empty Pokeball at the wild Pidgey who bonked off it and looked stunned for a moment.
"Oh..." Bonnie said in amazement as the Pokeball landed on the ground.
"Oh shoot, It's gonna break out, Isn't it?" Alex said as he didn't battle or damage it. The Pokeball wobbled and Wobbled. Then it stopped and clicked inside the Pokeball, Alex caught his first pokemon of the Kalos Region! It was a Pidgey!
"Awesome, Alex! You caught yourself a Pokemon!" Ash said as Alex grabbed his pokeball.
"Alright, I caught myself a Pidgey!" Alex said, catching his first ever pokemon!
"Oh, Right. The Dedenne. Bonnie? Want to do the honors?" Alex said to Bonnie who nodded.
"Hmm, That's right. Here, take it." Bonnie said, trying again.
"Mine!" Another bird pokemon said, snatching it.
"Huh!?" Everyone said watching the pokemon take it away.
"Hey, What's the big idea!?" Ash said to the bird.
"What is that?! I've never seen that too!" Alex said, looking at the bird.
"I've never seen that Pokemon either." Ash said looking at the new bird pokemon.
"It's a fletchling." Clemont said, explaining the pokemon.
"A Fletchling?" Ash said in confusion.
"Aah?" Alex said in awe. it was awesome.
"No fair! That berry belongs to Dedenne!" Bonnie said to the bird.
"Too Bad, Nom. It's mine! Sorry you sad people." Fletchling said eating the berry.
"Ooh!" Ash said in shock.
"Fletchling ate the berry!" Clemont said in surprise.
"Is this Pokemon a Berry lover?" Alex said in confusion.
"Fletchling. The tiny robin pokemon: A Normal And Flying Type. Although Fletchling's chirp is quite beautiful to hear. It is reletenlessly tough with those who enter it's territory." The Pokedex said.
"But my berry." Dedenne said in tears.
"Uh oh, Dedenne!" Pikachu said noticing Dedenne.
"Uh. Everyone?" Froakie said as they all noticed.
"Huh!" Everyone said at Dedenne.
"Hey, Dedenne? What's the matter?" Bonnie said to the pokemon.
"Wah, My Food!" Dedenne cried leaving the area.
"Dedenne, Wait!" Bonnie said as Dedenne fled.
"I don't think it's going to coming back." Clemont said sadly with Bonnie in tears.
"Oh? Okay! Have some of this!" Froakie said throwing some of it's frubbles.
"Sorry, I'm faster!" Fletchling said dodging all of the Frubbles.
"Whoa, That's fast!" Ash said in shock.
"It dodged all of that!" Alex said being surprised.
"Look at that, Fletchling's fast." Ash said in amazement.
"Ash? Wait are-" Alex said looking at Ash.
"Alright, I'm gonna catch that fletchling now!" Ash said with determination.
"Bring it on!" Fletchling said staring at Ash.
"Fletchling's a flying type. So Pikachu has the advantage as an electric type." Clemont said knowing his type advantages.
"Bonnie?" Froakie said to Bonnie who was still emotional.
"'Kay Pikachu, let's go!" Ash said to his partner.
"I'm Read-" Pikachu said before Froakie stopped him.
"No, Take this!" Froakie said trying it once again with Frubbles.
"Come on Froakie, We don't even have a plan!" Ash said to Froakie.
"Yeah! Don't get in the battle without thinking!" Alex said to the frog pokemon.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash said to Pikachu.
"Thunderbol-" Pikachu said as Froakie stopped him again.
"Hold on, Water Pulse-" Froakie said using Water pulse.
"Double Team! Double Team!" Fletchling said using double team. Froakie's water pulse completely missed!
"It's using Double team!" Clemont said noticing Double team.
"And Peck!" Fletchling said, hitting froakie dead on.
"Gah! Oof!" Froakie cried as it hit a tree.
"Froakie!" Ash said to his pokemon.
"Oh! That stings!" Alex said.
"Froakie, Are you okay?" Ash said catching his pokemon.
"Fine." Froakie said weakly.
"Take it easy, just let pikachu handle this." Ash said to his pokemon.
"I'll do this." Pikachu said as Froakie looked.
"There." Froakie said noticing.
"Huh?" Ash said.
"Huh?" Everyone said as Froakie squirmed.
"Lemme go!" Froakie said as he escaped Ash's grasp.
"Ah!? Wait!" Ash said seeing froakie leave.
"And, Leap!" Froakie said hopping high in the air.
"What is he doing?" Alex said wondering what he's doing.
"Wait Froakie!" Ash said to Froakie.
"Hold on, Didn't professor Sycamore say that Froakie had a habit of ignoring it's trainer when battling?" Clemont said remembering, Ash suddenly smiled.
"I'm starting to understand." Ash said, getting to know froakie more.
"Huh?" Clemont said to Ash.
"You do?" Alex said to his friend.
"Stories about froakie leaving it's trainers. I get it!" Ash said as he remembered.
"Wait, How?" Alex said in confusion.
"Huh?" Clemont and Bonnie said in confusion together.
"You do?" Pikachu said to his trainer.
"Ash..." Alex said as he was surprised about his friend's experience.
Meanwhile, In the Sky.
"My kingdom for a little bit of breakfast. My departed croissant." James said feeling empty.
"It may be a bit oily for lunch, but let's bend the rules." Meowth said pulling a picnic basket out.
"I second that!" James said as a gust of wind kicked nearby.
"Wah!" They cried as a sandwich broke free.
"Come back Sandwich!" James cried before something yoinked it.
"Huh?" They all said as Jessie walked beside James.
"Did you see what I just saw?" James said in confusion.
"Something with a touch of white." Jessie added, seeing a bit of the Pokemon.
"A Pokemon. I'll bet." Meowth said to the two.
"Wobbuffet." Wobbuffet cried. The inkay appeared behind them.
"Woh?" Wobbuffet said in confusion. Turning around.
"Hmm?" James said looking behind also.
"Eh?" Meowth said looking behind.
"Uh?" Jessie said as they all stared at the Inkay.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.
Meanwhile, Back with Froakie and Fletchling.
"Peck!" Fletchling said using Peck and Hitting Froakie.
"Gah! Grrr!" Froakie said getting hit and landing on the ground.
"Stop Froakie! Just chill out! You're only gonna end up hurting yourself!" Ash said, grabbing Froakie, whom he failed to squirm out of.
"No!" Froakie declared.
"I know how you feel froakie. But you've got to listen to me." Ash said, trying to calm froakie down,
"Huh?" Froakie said looking at the fletchling.
"Ash!" Clemont cried as Fletchling was ready to attack.
"Razor Wind!" Fletchling said, firing razor wind.
"Wah! Agh!" Everyone cried and Ash said in pain with Alex before he hit a tree.
"You okay?!" Alex said to his close friend.
"Yeah, Everyone okay? Pikachu? Froakie?" Ash said to his partner pokemon. Then his Froakie.
"Yeah." Froakie said.
"You Alex?" Ash said to his very close friend.
"All fine. I'm glad I was somehow born with ninja like reflexes from attacks." Alex said breathing a sigh of relief.
"Clemont and Bonnie! Are you guys both okay too?" Ash said to the two of them.
"Yeah Ash, We're alright!" Clemont said, telling them their okay.
"Hey froakie, I understand. You wanted to get even at fletchling for making bonnie sad." Ash said, understanding about Froakie.
"Yeah." Froakie said, squirming out of ash's arm.
"Is that true?" Ash said to froakie, understanding his situation.
"Aw, That's so kind of it!" Alex said to Froakie, standing up to others.
"Thank you Froakie!" Bonnie said hugging froakie.
"Hey.. It's nothing.." Froakie said, blushing a bit.
"Come on.. Come on..." Fletchling said from the air.
"But you can't do that without a plan. Okay, Fletchling can fly. So first, we need a way to lure that in." Ash said looking up and needing to get fletchling down from the sky.
"Mhmmhmmhmm." Clemont said with a smirk.
"Clemont?" Alex said, hearing clemont's chuckle.
"Well you just leave it to me!" Clemont said with pride.
"What do you got in store?" Alex said as Clemont smirked at him.
"Well. You see the future is now, thanks to science! Clemontic gear! On!" Clemont said as he presented himself with a new machine.
"What the..." Alex said looking in confusion.
"Presenting my flying type pokemon attractor machine!" Clemont said, introducing a machine that looks like a record player.
"What..." Alex said being confused. It didn't look close to what it was.
"Ah!" Ash said, being amazed on Clemont.
"The name could use a little work." Bonnie said, since it wasn't helpful.
"You see, bird pokemon have a homing instinct, by using sound waves of a certain frequency, this little invention of mine can attract or repel bird pokemon by affecting their internal compass." Clemont said explaining his method about science.
"That's science... you say?" Alex said being blantly confused.
"Indeed! Watch this! Power on!" Clemont said turning the rotator and creating sound waves. Fletchling landed on a branch and titled it's head.
"Hmm?" Fletchling said, tilting it's head.
"It's starting to work!" Bonnie said as Alex was amazed.
"So cool!" Alex said being happy.
"Man, Science is amazing!" Ash said as they noticed fletchling wasn't being bothered.
"Huh?" Ash said as red eyes appeared.
"Huh?" Alex said as he noticed the red eyes in the forest.
"Aaaah... I'm tired." Fletchling said, yawning a bit.
"I don't understand...?" Clemont said being confused. Something wasn't working.
"Huh..." Fletchling said as it looked.
"It makes no sense!" Ash said being confused.
"Huh?" Bonnie said being more confused.
"Is it suppose to work?" Pikachu said, being confused.
"Weird." Froakie said blantly.
"Hey, Clemont. Something's staring at us." Ash said as the red eyes reveal to be the pokemon of Beedrill.
"Grrrr." The Beedrill said coming from the nest.
"Beedrill!" Alex said, knowing the pokemon.
"Why now!?" Pikachu said freaking out.
"They're being attracted by it!" Ash said in realization.
"Turn off the machine!" Alex cried as Beedrill charged in.
"Poison Sting!" The Beedrill cried.
"RUN!" Alex shouted as soon as the beedrill started to chase them.
"Let's go!" Ash said as they were still chasing them, running through the forest.
"I must've picked a low too a frequency!" Clemont cried out.
"Turn it off Clemont!" Alex cried as Clemont ignored him.
"And a higher frequency would've worked a whole lot better on bird pokemon! Let's try this!" Clemont said trying to reverse the situation.
"Stop it Clemont! You're making the beedrill even angrier than before!" Bonnie said to her brother.
"You're crazy sometimes clemont!" Alex said to Clemont who panicked more.
"I'm sure I can affect the flying type pokemon if I just crank it up full blast! Here it goes!" Clemont said as the machine got hotter and exploded as beedrill swarmed away as they were all in a cliffside.
"Ugh." They all cried as the invention failed them.
"Nice going, Clemont." Alex said being mad at clemont.
"Looks like you blew it again." Bonnie said sarcastically to her brother.
"Did the beedrill stop chasing us?" Ash said looking back.
"Wait. Huh, the beedrill are flying away?" Alex said being surprised the beedrill stopped going after them.
"We're fine now, Is everybody okay?" Ash said, seeing if everyone was okay.
"Fine here." Alex said getting up.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Bonnie said as Clemont was okay but not happy.
"But.. why?" Clemont said being mad that his attraction failed.
"Clemont that was great. You attracted all those beedrill!" Ash said as Clemont smiled.
"Huh, I guess I did." Clemont said being happy that someone liked his invention.
"Hahahah! Ahaha!" Fletchling said laughing from above.
"Hey, it's laughing at us!" Bonnie said from below.
"Huh? Wait..." Ash said looking around his surroundings.
"What?" Alex said looking at his friend.
"I just got an idea." Ash said as everyone looked at him.
Meanwhile with Team Rocket.
"That's a new pokemon on me." Meowth said as James pulled out a keypad and saw the same pokemon on a picture.
"Huh, Inkay." James said, reading the name.
"Huh?" Jessie said looking at him.
"No, Not 'huh' that's it name." James said, truthfully explaining the name.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said as they smiled.
"Whatever it's name, let's make it ours!" Meowth said in delight.
"Inkay, okay!" Jessie said as a rhyme.
"Then we'll just have to battle it!"
"Take it away, Wobbuffet." Jessie said to the pokemon.
"Wob-" Wobbuffet said before being sprayed in the face.
"kaaa." Inkay said happily.
"Woohb." Wobbuffet cried from the pain it got.
"Now, that's what I call: Quick." Meowth said in surprise as James had an idea.
"Alright, Smarty pants. Feast your eyes on these!" James said pulling out two sandwichs.
"Inkay...Kay!" Inkay said, reaching for them and taking them from James.
"Our lunch!" Jessie said.
"I thought you were starving!" Meowth said to james who got a pokeball out.
"Inkay took the bait. Watch this!" James said tossing the Pokeball to the inkay who was surprised on what happened.
"Kay?" Inkay said as the pokeball wobbled and wobbled before it stayed inside the ball.
"I've caught an Inkay!" James happily said on his capture.
"He's got an inkay!" Jessie cried in shock.
"No way!" Meowth said in surprise.
Meanwhile. Back with Ash, Alex, Bonnie and Clemont in the ravine.
"Hmm." Fletchling said as he landed on a rock.
"This is it. The perfect place to battle. Time to settle the score." Ash said with confidence.
"Okay." Froakie said being a bit serious.
"Settle?" Fletchling said, what did ash mean?
"Settle the score?" Bonnie said in confusion.
"He means he's going to catch fletchling." Clemont said happily, knowing ash will win.
"Let's see what you got in store ash." Alex said, crossing his arms and waited.
"Yup. Together! I'm your trainer, right? That means it's you and me." Ash said to froakie as he trusts him.
"Got it." Froakie said, understanding about Ash a little more and his strategy.
"Great. This whole area will be the battlefield. It's full of high and low places and with your awesome jumping skills. You'll rock!" Ash said knowing froakie's height can take it's advantage.
"You're right!" Froakie said, wanting to take advantage of his skills.
"Now there you go ash. Thinking of other pokemon skills and tricks like that." Alex said, knowing ash well on his journey together and using them.
"I have no idea what any of that meant." Bonnie said blantly.
"Ah... Oh bonnie." Alex said getting bothered by her.
"Go Froakie! Jump above fletchling. Ready?" Ash said as Froakie was ready.
"Got it! Jump above. Jump above!" Froakie said, climbing the rocks and nearly getting fletchling.
"See ya!" Fletchling said flying away very quickly.
"Yes! Now jump higher!" Ash said seeing froakie jump high.
"Ash is taking advantage of all the different ledge heights and combine with those amazing jumping skills. Froakie will have even more mobility." Clemont said as Alex smiled at his friend, he has grown completely when he last saw him in sinnoh.
"Ash, You have extremely grown. Haven't you?" Alex said happily as froakie chased more after fletchling more.
"You'll never get me!' Fletchling said flying higher.
"Now! Use Water Pulse!" Ash said as froakie charged up a ball of water.
"Water Pulse!" Froakie said firing water pulse.
"Nmmm." Fletchling said barely being hit by it.
"Make it hard to fly!" Ash said as Froakie understood.
"Got it! Frubbles!" Froakie said tossing frubbles at Fletchling.
"Ha! Too fast! Hmm.. There you are! Peck- ACK! I CAN'T SEE!" Fletchling said rounding the mountains before spotting froakie and delivering peck, only to be covered in it's frubbles and being blinded by it.
"It's a decoy!" Clemont said as Fletchling
"Froakie can do that?" Alex said in amazement.
"Great, Froakie!" Ash said as Fletchling fumed.
"How dare you trick me?!" Fletchling said, fuming.
"Now, Bubble. Go!" Ash said as Froakie took a deep breath.
"Bub. bble!" Froakie said as he fired a hard bubble and connected at fletchling.
"Gah!" Fletchling said falling as ash got his pokeball out.
"Alright, Go Pokeball!" Ash said as it bonked fletchling. It wobbled and wobbled.
"Did he actually-" Alex said as the pokeball opened up.
"Ah!?" They all said as the fletchling escaped.
"No!" Fletchling refused to be caught.
"No, It didn't work!" Bonnie said as Alex was annoyed a bit.
"Dang, That's a bit annoying." Alex said.
"You were so close!" Bonnie said as fletchling was mad.
"Razor Wind!" Fletchling said as Ash saw an opportunity.
"It's attacking! Jump above it and attack again!" Ash said as Froakie obeyed and started to use the rocks.
"Ha, Ha, Nope! No! Faster!" Froakie said leaping on the rocks and hopping on top of one, leaping over fletchling.
"Water Pulse!" Ash said as froakie was above. Ready for the last blow.
"Water Pulse!" Froakie said firing water pulse, One more time.
"Oh no- AAAAH!" Fletchling said being directly hit by it, Ash was confident.
"This time, for sure. Go Pokeball!" Ash said turning his hat back and firing another pokeball. It bounced off fletchling and wobbled, wobbled and wobbled and it clicked. Ash has gotten fletchling.
"He did it!" Alex said, Ash got his pokemon.
"Yeah!" Bonnie said happily.
"Amazing!" Clemont said being amazed on Ash's capture.
"Haha!" Ash chuckled.
"Yay!" Pikachu said being happy.
"Heheh. I've caught a fletchling!" Ash said happily, his second pokemon capture!
"Yay.. I'm exhausted." Froakie said falling down, exhausted.
"You okay, Froakie? I caught Fletchling cause of you." Ash said being happy for his partner pokemon.
"Hooray..." Froakie said being happy he won a battle.
"Amazing man!" Pikachu said giving more team effort and joy to froakie.
"Good job ash, your second Kalos capture." Alex said to his friend.
"Wasn't that amazing?" Ash said seeing how alex
"Sure was. Froakie's jumping kept getting better!" Ash said, happily looking at froakie.
"Same with your teamwork." Clemont said as both seemed to communicate right.
"Yeah, I'm starting to understand a lot about froakie, thanks!" Ash said as Pikachu got on his shoulder.
"High five!" Pikachu said as he high fived froakie for his efforts.
"Come on out, Fletchling!" Ash said as he took out his new pokemon out.
"I'm ready for this!" Fletchling said as he landed.
"Hi, Fletchling." Alex said to the bird who looked at him.
"Hi..?" Fletchling said looking at everyone around him.
"From now on, we're gonna be good friends! All of us!" Ash said to fletchling.
"Yeah, and your gonna be great!" Alex said as Fletchling looked a bit happier than usual.
"And, Fletchling. tell me if you get hungry next time. Because stealing other Pokemon's food is bad." Bonnie said as Fletchling looked down.
"Sorry, Bonnie." Fletchling said apologizing.
"Okay, you're forgiven." Bonnie said happily.
"Hey. Pidgey! Come on out, You should meet a friend!" Alex said tossing his pokeball, Pidgey came out too see.
"Ah! Hello." Pidgey said, being friendly to Fletchling.
"Hello!" Fletchling said happily.
"Bird Buddies?" Pidgey said as he held his wing out.
"Bird Buddies!" Fletchling said as he did the same.
"How about an Oran Berry to celebrate our new friendship? You too, Pikachu and Froakie." Clemont said giving out three oran berries.
"Mm. Oran Berry." Pikachu said nibbling on one.
"Here you go." Froakie said giving one to fletchling.
"Yum!" The three pokemon said as Pidgey didn't get one but he smiled at his new team mates.
"Great! Alright, Let's all head to the santalune gym!" Ash said being excited.
"Yeah!" Everyone said happily as Dedenne watched them leave.
Meanwhile, At Professor Sycamore's lab.
"Hello? Is Professor Sycamore around?" Serena said entering Sycamore's lab.
"That's me, I'm up here!" Professor Sycamore said to Serena.
"Huh? Oh, Hello there, I'm Serena." Serena said introducing herself to Sycamore.
"I'll bet you're here to become a pokemon trainer." Professor sycamore said, thinking serena would start on a new journey.
"Yup. Also, Professor, I saw this trainer on the news. The report was all about how he had saved a Garchomp." Serena said, remembering about Ash.
"Oh, you're talking about Ash." Professor Sycamore as serena gasped.
"Ash! I knew it!" Serena said in her head.
"I'm afraid that he already left. He said that he was going to challenge the Santalune Gym." Sycamore said as Serena's head began to ponder.
"Santalune Gym, Hmm. Professor, May I choose a pokemon?" Serena said wanting to choose her goal as a pokemon trainer.
"Of course, and do you have any idea which Pokemon you'd like?" Professor Sycamore said asking Serena if she's ready.
"Yup." Serena said nodding her head.
"Alright, Everyone out." Sycamore said as Serena are happy, three pokemon came out to Serena.
"Aha!" Serena said happily.
"These are the Kalos Pokemon, new trainers might choose from. Fenniken, Chespin and Froakie. Which pokemon will you choose as your partner?" Professor Sycamore asked her as she was prepared for a journey like never before.
And so, Ash has caught himself a Fletchling after it stole what Bonnie attempted for a Pokemon while Alex has captured a Pokemon known as Pidgey to start off his new adventure with an old friend in the Kalos region. Serena in the meantime is heading to find ash but she has a choice for her own starter, which will she choose? Find out next time in Ash & Alex's Kalos Journey.
