During Ash's Match with Viola, His pokemon were overwhelm with defeat as it proved to be a massive upset to the start in the Kalos region, Meanwhile, Alex's strategies and smartness outperformed Viola and won himself the first Kalos gym badge with his smart style and careful speedy plays that outdone Vivillion and Surskit. Now, How will Ash do against the both of them?
"Vivillion's Gust isn't the only thing we have to deal with. There's surskit's ice beam and sticky web too. How are we gonna do it?" Ash thought to himself.

EPISODE 7: Battling on Thin Ice! (Ash)
EPISODE 7: Claim the First Badge! (Alex)
"Ash?" Serena said.
"Huh?" Ash said, looking at her.
"Here, use this." Serena said, giving him a handkerchief.
"Huh?" Alex said as Serena handed as a handkerchief.
"Great. Thanks." Ash said as he managed to wipe himself up.
"Hmm." Alex said as Ash was cleaning himself.
"Hmm, Here we go." Serena said to herself as Alex heard.
"What..?" Alex whispered.
"Ash, I do am concerned... Since Alex was busy and we saw him... Do you remember me?" Serena said as Ash looked at her.
"Huh?" Ash said in confusion.
"Think back to when you went to camp in Pallet town. I did too, That's where we met." Serena said.
"At camp?" Ash said as Serena smiled.
"That's right. We met at professor Oak's Pokemon Summer Camp." Serena said, as she remembered about it long ago.
"Hey, I remember that camp." Ash said as it seemed to remember a bit.
"You really do?" Serena said as Alex was surprised.
"A Summer Camp?" Alex said as he scratched his head.
"Yeah! Of course, I went to it." Ash said to his friend who seemed amazed.
"I know, and that's because I went to that camp as well."
"Hm, can't say I remember you." Ash said as his memory seemed hazy.
"Wah!?" Serena said in confusion.
"Wait a second... Oh. Ouch." Alex said as he felt as if heartbreak hit him hard.
"Uh?" Ash said as Serena looked down.
"Oh no..." Serena sighed, Alex flinched a bit there.
"Sorry." Ash said in a apologetic tone.
"I feel bad for you Serena.. I'm dearly sorry for you there." Alex said as Serena sighed.
"Hmhm, That's okay, Ash. For now you need to concentrate on training. You can remember me later." Serena said as Ash understood his situation.
"Right." Ash said, getting back on track.
"But unlike him, He struggled. So what can he do?" Alex said, asking serena.
"Something that works... But I got to say, Pokemon battles are amazing." Serena said, noticing how battles worked out perfectly.
"You saw mine?" Ash said in surprise, Serena did see her battle.
"And mine?" Alex added as Serena nodded.
"Yes! Both of yours!" Serena said being in joy from watching both matched, Ash chuckled a bit.
"Well, then you know what a totally rotten mess I made of it." Ash said being a bit embarrassed.
"A mess? I don't think so, you were awesome! I remember what you said the last time we met. You never give up until the end." Serena said as she remembered ash's own words.
"Huh?" Ash said.
"You're obviously not giving up, You haven't changed one bit." Serena said, knowing ash would not give up.
"Yup, Good ol' friend of mine." Alex said padding ash on the shoulder as a brotherly like friend.
"Hahah. I haven't changed, have I?" Ash said as Alex knew him pretty well good too.
"That's him though." Alex said as ash smiled and know he needs to get himself together.
"I'm not giving up. That just wouldn't be me at all." Ash said as he held firm and touched his cap.
"Oh?" Serena said as ash gave back her the handkerchief
"Thanks Serena, You're a big help." Ash said to Serena who smiled.
"Uh? Sure." Serena said as Ash looked at Alexa.
"Alexa, Can we have another battle, please?" Alexa said as she knew it was over for break time.
"Okay." Alexa said as Serena and Alex both got off the field.
"Time to go again!" Pikachu said.
"Better hurry over!" Fletchling flew on the battlefield still with the balloon attach to them.
"It's not like me to get down on myself, I can fix all of this by not giving up." Ash said needing determination.
"Ready to go?" Alexa said to Ash.
"I'm raring for something good." Noivern said, wanting good to happen.
"Come on Noivern." Pikachu asked Noivern.
"Let's have a go!" Fletchling said to him.
"Noivern, Use gust!" Alexa said, using Gust once more.
"Gust! Take this!" Noivern said using Gust.
"Whoa, Whoa whoa!" Pikachu said, embracing for gust as it was powerful.
"Gah... Come on!" Fletchling said as it attempted to steady itself.
"Stay strong, don't give up!" Ash said to his two pokemon.
"Strong winds...!" Fletchling said trying to keep balance on the air.
"Get your footing, pikachu. And fletching, keep your balance!" Ash said to Pikachu.
"Got it.. I'll use my tail!" Pikachu said as it planted it's ground, keeping it from flying away.
"Ah! Genius!" Alex said as he noticed.
"Alright! Pikachu is using it's tail!" Serena said, being able to note pikachus footing.
"Great, in that position. Pikachu should be able to keep it's footing." Clemont said, observing it.
"Whoa... Okay! Got it!" Fletchling said as it manage to fly with the wind.
"Wow, look at that. Fletchling's flying lots better now too." Bonnie said.
"You can do it Fletchling!" Dedenne said cheering on.
"It's adjusting the angle of it's tail feathers to control how the air flows around it." Clemont said observing the fletchling.
"Now Pikachu, Use thunderbolt! And fletchling, razor wind!" Ash said, managing to fight back.
"Thunderbollllt!" Pikachu said using thunderbolt.
"Razooor wind!" Fletchling said as it used Razor wind.
"Alright Noivern, dodge it!" Alexa said to her Pokemon.
"Got it Viola, Huff! missed." Noivern said as it flew up in the air and dodged both attacks.
"Awesome, Looking good you two!" Ash said as his pokemon were determined.
"We won't give up!" Pikachu said with it's determination.
"Never!" Fletchling said joining Pikachu.
"Looks like you're getting the hang of it. But i'm not finished yet. Use Gust, again!" Alexa said wanting to keep training ash as she commanded noivern.
"How about this!" Noivern said as they kept training until dusk where they seemed all exhausted.
"Wow Alexa, that was some really helpful training. Thank you for everything." Ash said, thanking her.
"Save your thanks until you defeat my sister and win your first Kalos gym badge with Alex." Alexa said, wanting the thanks to be until it's over.
"Right, i'll do my best." Ash said as his pokemon joined in.
"We will too!" Pikachu said.
"Don't count us out!" Fletchling said as they all took a quick break.
Santalune City Pokemon Center.
"So, How do you feel now. Ash?" Clemont said to his friend as Ash smiled, they were all eating.
"Hmm, well we've got a good defense against Gust now." Ash said as he knew what to do.
"So that means, uh. now you just need to figure out the ice battlefield, and sticky web and psychic." Bonnie said.
"Yeah, Psychic is powerful." Alex did mention, he remembered how fletchling was flung around.
"I've already figured out how to deal with the ice battlefield much different to Alex's." Ash said. Alex and Bonnie were curious.
"Oh? Have you now?" Alex said in surprise.
"Yeah? What're you gonna do?" Bonnie said in curiousity.
"You'll find out during the battle." Ash said, not spoiling her the secret.
"Ah Ash. Sneaky as always." Alex chuckled, Bonnie made a pout face.
"Hey that's no fun." Bonnie said as she manage to eat a big piece of cake in one bite.
"Well as far as handling sticky web, you just leave that to me." Clemont said as Alex sighed.
"Another one to come, huh?" Alex said.
"Yes, alright, Pikachu and Fletchling it's back to training after we eat." Ash said to his pokemon as they looked at him.
"Aw...righ..t.!" Both pikachu and fletchling said with food in their mouth in excitement.
Night time, Outside Santalune City Pokemon Center.
"Allow me to help you with your training using the very best of my scientific skills. Remember, the future is now. Thanks to science. And the power of technology. Clemontic gear on." Clemont said as he got a new machine to reveal.
"Oh? What does this do, this time clemont?" Alex said as he looked at this machine.
"I invented this device in anticipation of the very situation ash is now in. I call it: The sticky web Sticky-Wicket Wacker Wonk!" Clemont said as he introduced his new machine to everyone.
"Huh?" Serena said in confusion.
"Huh?" Bonnie said also.
"That name.. is a mouthful..." Alex said shaking his head from the longest name ever.
"SCIENCE IS SO AMAZING!" Ash said being amazed once again.
"I've analyzed sticky web's composition at the DNA level and this device is able to replicate its stickiness, color, aroma and nutritional value to a tee. I'm sure patent approval is right around the corner." Clemont said as he studied the battle.
"Well, I really don't know what you're talking about, but thanks Clemont." Ash said as Alex was way lost beyond clemont.
"So. Let's get started." Clemont said being prepared.
"Sure thing Clemont!" Pikachu said to Clemont.
"Let's have it!" Fletchling said in the air.
"Lock on target and fire!" Clemont said as it fired some balls that turn to become sticky web.
"Dodge it!" Ash said as his pokemon jumped.
"Jump!" Pikachu said as he and fletchling avoided the webbing.
"Whew, What? Hey! It's sticky! Eck!" Pikachu said as it got caught in a webbing.
"He's right! It's the same as Sticky Web!" Serena said as Clemont smirked.
"This is what I call: Training with science. Keep it up! Fire! Fire! Fire!" Clemont said as he pulled the lever and kept firing.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Pikachu said, hopping around and dodging the attacks.
"To the right, left, right!" Fletchling said whiffing right and left.
"Hey, you're both looking great." Ash said to his pokemon.
"We can do this!" Pikachu said knowing how good they were.
"Just a bit more of avoiding!" Fletchling kept avoiding them.
"Come on!" Both said as they were good on dodging the attack.
"Not bad, but you haven't experienced my device working at full power." Clemont said as the machines lights went red.
"Full power? Wait-" Alex said before realizing it, Clemont smirked.
"Maximum level and fire!" Clemont said as he tugged the lever. Nothing happened.
"Huh?" Pikachu and Fletchling said.
"Huh?" Serena, Bonnie and Alex said in confusion.
"Huh?" Ash said with them.
"Huh? Something's not right." Clemont said as he examined the machine.
"Is it-" Alex said as the machine suddenly acted up.
"Huh!? Aah!" Clemont said as he got out of the way.
"..." The machine fired up four sticky web balls and blocked the cannon.
"Hm? Aah!" Everyone said as they noticed the machine was out of control.
"AAH!" Clemont said as the machine overheated and blew itself up, collecting Ash, Alex and his friends.
"Looks like another machine went boom." Bonnie said in a bored tone.
"Oh, Why? Why?" Clemont said in sorrow.
"Anyone got a plan B?" Alex said as Ash had an idea.
"Welp. In that case. Alright, Froakie. I choose you!" Ash said as he summoned froakie.
"Alright Ash, What's up?" Froakie said, coming out of his pokeball.
"If you attack us with your frubbles, it'll be like attacked with Sticky Web." Ash said to his froakie who understood their situation.
"Okay! Here it comes!" Froakie said firing frubbles to train them.
"Quick, Pikachu, Fletchling. Dodge it!" Ash said to his pokemon.
"Come on, More!" Pikachu said as he dodged the frubbles.
"Whoa! Not so quick there." Fletchling said as he avoided it.
"Clever job Ash!" Alex said in amazement, ash did have tricks up his sleeve.
"Wow! What a clever way to use frubbles." Clemont said as he studied ash.
"Yeah! Keep it up!" Bonnie said cheering for them.
"You two can do it!" Dedenne said cheering for them.
"Now, Concentrate and speed up!" Ash said, wanting to dodge it quickly.
"Alright!" Both Pikachu and Fletchling said.
"Then I'll speed up also!" Froakie said firing frubbles more and more faster.
"Whoah! Whoa!" Fletchling said, dodging the frubbles.
"Show me that spirit!" Ash said as they kept working hard.
"I didn't know Ash had a froakie too." Serena said, mentioning the froakie.
"That froakie is from professor sycamore's research lab." Clemont said.
"Just like my fennekin." Serena said as she noticed.
"Well he didn't choose Froakie for his own sake. He decided to join him." Alex said, that was the difference between them.
"Wow, Interesting!" Serena said in shock.
"Whoa! Come on Froakie!" Pikachu said.
"To the left, right, left. Come on!" Fletchling said.
"You're good froakie." Pikachu said to froakie, praising him.
"Yeah." Fletchling said, agreeing with Pikachu.
"Thank you." Froakie said, accepting their praise.
"I think we're gonna be just fine. So let's call it a day." Ash said.
"Alright then." Pikachu said as Froakie approached fletchling.
"Come on fletchling be proud! You're strong!" Froakie said as it hit weakly fletchling to stand strong.
"You're right froakie! I am!" Fletchling said standing tall and strong.
"Hmm, Good spirit in his pokemon." Alex said as he heard bonnie.
"Ra ra ra go team go. I know you can do it, You're awesome." Bonnie said being weak and exhausted.
"Bonnie? You alright?" Alex said looking at her.
"Bonnie, I think it's bed time." Clemont said as he
"Mm, you were great." Bonnie said being sleepy.
"Yeah, weren't they? Let's go." Clemont said as she dragged bonnie carefully away.
"Pikachu..." Bonnie said.
"Okay Ash, I'm going to tuck bonnie into bed." Clemont said as Ash smiled at them.
"Right! Thanks for staying up so late and helping me out." Ash said, thanking them.
"Concentrate and speed up." Bonnie said as she was sleepy.
"That's bonnie." Dedenne said to her trainer.
"Well, we all worked on everything we could. All that's left is to battle Viola as hard as we can. So let's give it all we've got!" Ash said to his pokemon.
"Were ready!" Fletchling and Pikachu said in determination.
"You guys can do it!" Froakie said, giving them fire and hope.
"That's determination, never fall down and fail." Alex said to both fletchling and Pikachu.
"It's amazing how hard trainers and their pokemon work. It takes an awful lot of time and effort to earn yourself a gym badge, doesn't it?" Serena said to Ash.
"Oh. It's more than that then you think." Alex said to her.
"You'll be training like this in no time. Soon you're gonna hit the road and catch some more pokemon so you can challenge the pokemon gyms, right?" Ash said to Serena.
"I guess so, I know I have fennekin but im not sure what my next step will be." Serena said on her choice to think about.
"So it's unknown, but you can still decide on what you want to do." Alex said to her as Ash wanted to be slow.
"Got ya. So, take your time and you'll know what to do." Ash said to them happily.
"That's right!" Pikachu said on his shoulder.
"Ha... Hm, I will, thank you. Both of you." Ash said to the two of them.
The Next Day, Santalune City Gym.
"The gym battle rematch between Ash, the challenger and Viola, the Santalune Gym Leader will now begin." The referee said as ash wanted his rematch.
"I heard you." Alexa said to Serena.
"Hm?" Serena said as Alex looked at her also.
"When you and Ash were having your talk. He needed some inspiration like Alex did. But I didn't think it was gonna come from you." Alexa said, hearing what they were doing.
"Each side will have the use of two pokemon and the battle will be over when either trainer's pokemon are unable to continue. Only the challenger this time may substitue Pokemon." The referee said who was giving the rules.
"So ash, my sister tells me you were training hard yesterday. I'm looking forward to this." Viola said to ash who wanted to win.
"Yeah, me too. 'Cause this time. I'll join Alex and win a badge!" Ash said with passion and determination.
"Are you ready for revenge?" Pikachu said to Viola.
"My lens are still focused on victory and nothing will ruin this shot! Go, Surskit!" Viola said as she summoned Surskit.
"It's time to make myself perfect!" Surskit said as ash looked at pikachu.
"Time to even the score, right, Pikachu?" Ash said as Pikachu nodded.
"Yep! No more embarassment!" Pikachu said as he got onto the battlefield.
"Battle, Begin!" The referee said as Viola vs Ash's rematch was underway.
ASH VS VIOLA: TWO ON TWO
"Come on. Come on!" Surskit said, tempting Pikachu and Ash.
"They're waiting to see surskit's first move." Clemont said
"Ash and Pikachu, get 'em, get 'em, get 'em!" Bonnie said cheering them on.
"You can do it!" Dedenne said as he cheered them.
"You can't take a picture without pressing the shutter and you can't win a battle without attacking. Alright Surskit, use sticky web!" Viola said as she observed ash before going first.
"Sticky Web!" Surskit said firing sticky web.
"Dodge it, Pikachu!" Ash said to his partner.
"Whoa! Not this time!" Pikachu said as it began to dodge all of it's attacks.
"Aah!" Viola said as it dodged all of the sticky webs.
"Wow, that's fast. All that training's paying off." Serena said.
"Now Pikachu, Use thunderbolt!" Ash said, wanting to use Thunderbolt.
"Thunderbolt!" Pikachu said using thunderbolt.
"Surskit, Protect!" Viola said, needing to avoid the damage.
"Protect!" Surskit said as it protected itself from thunderbolt.
"Signal Beam, Go!" Viola said to surskit.
"Signal.. Beam!" Surskit said firing a purple like beam to Pikachu.
"Dodge, then Iron tail!" Ash said how he needed Pikachu to focus himself.
"Whoah! Iron Tail!" Pikachu said as he managed to avoid Signal beam and hit iron tail.
"Agh! Aaah.." Surskit said as it came to a stop.
"Surskit!" Viola said to surskit who focused.
"Alright! Yay! Pikachu really nailed it!" Bonnie said.
"You can do it, Pikachu!" Dedenne said cheering on.
"Keep going, Ash!" Alex said to cheer ash on.
"Iron tail isn't that effective against Surskit but considering how Pikachu wasn't able to land an attack at all last time, it was a meaningful hit." Clemont said as he focus on ash's strategy.
"Now, let's refocus on the battle. Time to use Ice Beam and create an ice battlefield." Viola said wanting to use the ice battlefield once more.
"Ice Beam..." Surskit said charging ice beam up.
"Don't let Surskit use Ice Beam!" Ash said as Pikachu nodded.
"Got it. Come here!" Pikachu said as he leaped on Surskit.
"Ah! Get off!" Surskit said trying to shake it off him.
"Stay on it, and use thunderbolt!" Ash said to Pikachu.
"Shake it loose and use ice beam!" Viola said to her Surskit.
"Gah! Gaaha." Pikachu said, trying to stay on.
"Fire!" Surskit said as it fired ice beam all over that place.
"Haha!" Pikachu said as he kept letting it loose.
"Get off me! Ice Beam!" Surskit said as it fired the ice beam.
"Pikachu, Dodge it!" Ash said.
"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!" Pikachu said as he kept steady but fell.
"Pikachu!" Ash said to his friend.
"Huh!?" Serena and Bonnie said.
"But how?" Alex questioned on why.
"Another picture perfect ice battlefield." Viola said as the camera was focused on the battlefield.
"Surskit, Start Skating!" Viola said as Surskit started to skate around Pikachu.
"Come on, Is this everything?" Surskit said, skating around Pikachu.
"It's just like the last battle." Clemont said as he knew this was the same thing.
"The difference is Ash trained really hard for this one." Serena said, noticing.
"Can you get up pikachu?" Ash said to his partner pokemon.
"Yes.. I can.." Pikachu said as he got up fine.
"This ice battlefield is my studio! I'm the photographer and I call the shots. Surskit, Signal beam!" Viola said, wanting the attention she deserved
"Signal Beam!" Surskit said firing signal beam.
"Now, Pikachu!" Ash said as he got a plan.
"Not this time!" Pikachu said as it stuck it's tail into the ground.
"Aah!" Viola said, noticing Pikachu's balance.
"Wow!" Serena said.
"That's the thing ash wouldn't tell us about." Clemont said as Bonnie and Serena focused on him.
"Hmm?" Alexa, Bonnie and Serena said looking at Clemont.
"How he was going to deal with the ice battlefield." Clemont said as he studied the movement ash would do.
"So that was his plan, but the attack is coming in quick!" Alex said before noticing.
"Way to go! Now use Thunderbolt!" Ash said as he wanted to finish the battle now.
"Thunder.." Pikachu said, charging up thunderbolt.
"Signal beam!" Surskit said firing signal beam.
"Bolllt!" Pikachu said as both moves collided but thunderbolt proved to be too much for it to work.
"AAAH!" Surskit said as thunderbolt overpowered it.
"Surskit, No!" Viola said as surskit was pushed back by a stronger move.
"Aaah. Uhh. Ooh." Surskit fainted as it had swirls on it's eyes and fainted.
"Surskit is unable to battle, Pikachu wins!" The referee said as Surskit was out.
"Looks like I won this time." Pikachu said with a smile on his face.
"We did it!" Ash said, beating one of two pokemon.
"Hooray!" Pikachu said.
"Yay!" Serena said in cheers.
"Yay!" Bonnie said in cheers also.
"Yay!" Dedenne said in cheers.
"Now, What's left is that Vivillion." Alex said, knowing her vivillion is left.
"Who knew Pikachu would plant it's tail to stay balanced?" Clemont said as Viola returned Surskit.
"Surskit, that was excellent. Now get a good rest." Viola said to surskit.
"Pikachu, Return." Ash said to his partner pokemon.
"Okay Ash." Pikachu said as he returned to Ash.
"What? You're done battling with Pikachu?" Viola said in surprise.
"Fletching wants a chance for a rematch against Vivillion too. Fletching, I choose you!" Ash said to viola before he summoned out his fletchling.
"I want my rematch!" Fletchling said with determination.
"Picture-perfect, Let's do this, Vivillion!" Viola said summoing Vivillion.
"Alright Viola." Vivillion said as it started flying up.
"They won't have to worry about Sticky Web this time." Serena said.
"And Ash can thank Pikachu for that." Bonnie said about the battle being better.
"They also have a great counter for Gust. This is not yesterday's battle for sure." Clemont added on.
"And ash can't worry about the icy battlefield for now since he's in the air." Alex said.
"Alright, Fletchling. Steel wing, let's go!" Ash said to fletchling.
"Take some of this!" Fletchling said.
"Missed me!" Vivillion said, swiftly avoiding it.
"Steel wing!" Fletchling said coming around for another round.
"Use Psychic!" Viola said.
"Psychic!" Vivillion said as it's eyes turned blue and used Psychic.
"Huh? WAAAAAH!" Fletchling cried as it was being tossed around like a doll by Psychic.
"HEY HEY HEY! OOF! ooooh." Fletchling said being thrown around until it was tossed to the ground.
"Fletchling! no! Be strong, now get up!" Ash said as Fletchling got up.
"I'm fine!" Fletchling said being perfectly fine.
"Great, Fletchling. Steel wing!" Ash said to fletchling.
"Steel wing!" Fletchling said as it got steel wing out on his wings.
"Gah!" Vivillion said being struck by steel wing.
"Aah!" Viola said as she noticed.
"Way to go! Now, Use peck!" Ash said to Fletchling.
"Peck this!" Fletchling said, charging in with Peck.
"Quick, Dodge it!" Viola cried out as Vivillion saw him.
"Missed me!" Vivillion said, whiffing.
"Alright, Use gust!" Viola said, wanting to throw fletchling off.
"Gust!" Vivillion said, using Gust.
"Whoah!" Fletchling said as it felt as it was being knocked back.
"Remember our training, Fletchling!" Ash said to fletchling.
"Focus!" Pikachu said to fletchling who suddenly got the hang of it.
"That's right. Ride with the wind!" Fletchling said as it refused to be blown back.
"Great Fletchling, Ride it!" Alex said.
"Yeah! you can do it!" Bonnie said, cheering him on.
"Yeah!" Serena said.
"Fletchling, Use Razor Wind. Now!" Ash said, using razor wind as an attack.
"Razor Wind!" Fletchling said as it used razor wind.
"Vivillion, Sleep powder!" Viola said.
"have some of this!" Vivillion said as it used Sleep powder.
"Take this!" Fletchling said as it spun in a circle and used Razor wind, connecting.
"Ow!" Vivillion said but sleep powder got to it.
"Aaah.. Zzz." Fletchling said as it fell asleep.
"Fletchling, Wake up!" Ash said as they all saw fletchling.
"Uh oh." Serena said.

"AAAH!" Fletchling said being engulfed by Solar beam, big time.
"Oh no, Fletchling!" Ash said as Fletchling landed hard on the field.
"Auuh.." Fletchling said with swirls on his eyes and fainting.
"Fletchling is unable to battle! Vivillion wins!" The referee said as Fletchling lost.
"Aw, Poor Fletchling lost." Bonnie said sadly.
"Not even a chance." Alex said shaking his head.
"There's no way my sister would let ash win without a real fight." Alexa said, mentioning the fight.

"Sleep Powder!" Vivillion said as it covered up a Sleep powder over Pikachu.
"Aaah.. ZZZ..." Pikachu said before it would stand to a sleep powder.
"Pikachu!" Ash said.
"Oh!" They all said as Pikachu barely stood awake.
"So, here we are. It's my chance to take a great last picture." Viola said.
"Pikachu, Ash. You've got to hang in there!" Serena said to them.
"Let's finish this up, Solar Beam!" Viola said, ending this fight.
"Solar..." Vivillion said charging up solar beam.
"Pikachu! Wake up!" Ash said to his partner, was this it?

"Ah! Pikachu! Use Electro Ball on yourself!" Ash said as Pikachu somehow stood awake for it.

"But how?" Vivillion questioned, it was working?
"..." The electro ball was fired up in the air and came down and caught pikachu, He was standing upright once again with a smirk on his face.

"Alright!" Bonnie and Serena said.

"It neutralized Sleep Powder with an electric-type move on itself." Clemont said, explaining how it happened.

"Vivillion. Solar Beam!" Viola said, being very desparate.
"BEAM!" Vivillion said, firing solar beam.
"We're all with you. so put everything into this move! Use electro ball!" Ash said as Pikachu had to give it everything.
"Electro Ball!" Pikachu said firing electro ball as it went against Solar beam and broke through, hitting vivillion.
"Ah, Vivillion. No!" Viola said as it was launched back.
"Ahh. Agh! Ow, Ow Ow, Ow..." Vivillion said feeling pain again and again by clashing into frozen lights.
"Come on Vivillion, be strong!" Viola said as it stopped but flew weird.
"Uh-oh! Vivillion's flying kind of weird all of sudden." Bonnie said as Alex noticed.
"Is it badly hurt?" Alex said in confusion.
"Look at it's wing. It's covered with ice!" Clemont said as he noticed the ice was slowing it down.
"No, How can this be?" Viola said, needing to find out how she was gonna win this one.
"Pikachu, Now use thunderbolt!" Ash said, finishing this one with one more thunderbolt.
"THUNDER..BOLLLLLT!" Pikachu said giving a powerful thunderbolt that connected against Vivillion.
"AAAGHH... This is it... Huh?" Vivillion said before it succumb to it's injuries and fell on the field.
"Vivillion, No!" Viola said as she saw Vivillion faint.
"Aaah..." Vivillion said as it had swirls on it's eyes and fainted.
"Vivillion is unable to battle! Pikachu wins, which means the winner of the match is Ash!" The referee said as Ash won the battle!
"Alright!" Ash said in cheers.
"He did it!" Alex said with happiness.
"Yay!" Pikachu said happily. His friends came down to see him.
"We did it, Pikachu!" Ash said as he hugged his partner.
"Ash!" Serena said.
"Ash, that was amazing!" Clemont said to Ash.
"That's how you settle the score with strategy!" Alex said to ash.
"happy, happy, bonnie! Way to go, Ash!" Bonnie said with delight on her face.
"You were great man!" Alex said.
"Hey, thanks! And I couldn't have done it without help from you guys." Ash said to his buddies.
"Ash I had nothing to do with your win and you know it." Clemont said to Ash.
"Nah, your invention gave me the idea." Ash said to Clemont.
"Huh?" Clemont said being confused. He then remembered his invention.
"You mean, my invention's failure gave you the idea of Pikachu using Electro ball on itself?" Clemont said as Ash smiled.
"Yup. and that's why this victory doesn't just belong to me. It's all of ours!" Ash said as he knew it was more than his.
"Well, good news is that you won. So we are one step toward the Kalos League." Alex said.
"Yup! For us too!" Ash said, as they both had a win.
"You know it!" Pikachu said, agreeing with Ash.
"Thank you, Vivillion. For a great battle." Viola said returning Vivillion.
"What did I tell you about Ash?" Alexa said to her sister.
"Haha, You knew it all along. Ash?" Viola said laughing about it.
"Hey, Viola." Ash said as Viola smiled.
"Congratulations. This is to prove you won your gym battle against me. The bug badge." Viola said as ash took it with happiness.
"Thanks so much! Alright! I just got the bug badge!" Ash said as he put it in the Kalos Gym Badge case.
"Would you look at that? We both have our first badge together!" Alex said as he and ash chuckled together, they have there first gym badge!

"There are some things you can only see when looking through a camera's viewfinder. And things you'll only see clearly by living together with Pokemon. Keep strengthing the bonds you share with your pokemon, friends and good luck!" Viola said giving tips to the group.

"Yeah. Thank you!" Pikachu said, joining them.
"Ash and Alex. I can imagine you're heading to your next Pokemon Gym battle. In that case, how about the gym in cyllage city?" Alexa said as they smiled.

"Cyllage city gym? That sounds great." Alex added on as Helioptile hopped off onto ash.
"Good luck Ash." Helioptile said, saying it's goodbye for now.
