Eyes as pale as a rabbit and senses just as sharp.

They see the soul of a person through their eyes,

the life force circulating through your body.

They see the world from nearly every side.

They are the eyes that are worthy for 'Him'

The Hyūga clan, the most powerful and wealthiest of all the clans in the Leaf Village. They were known for their strong taijutsu, their Dojutsu: the Byakugan, and their cold and arrogant personalities. That was how the clan has been for generations after generations, proving that they were above all. But it was also in this clan that a ten year old girl could see the fault with how her clan had worked, but was too shy and reserved to speak up nor did she have power or support with her.

Hyūga Hinata, eldest daughter of Hyūga Hiashi, the Clan leader, and the next heir of the clan. And as the next clan leader, it was her responsibility to show the people of the Leaf that she was not only worthy but that she was league's above them, which was not the way the young heiress wanted.

Hinata was a kind and bright girl, wanting to see the good and be on good terms with others. She wanted her kin to see that they aren't above others even though some are better than others, it doesn't give them the right to stomp all over them.

Which led her to her current situation. She had just been dropped off by her guard and had sought out to find her blond man- or at the very least soon to be man once she got the courage to ask him out. She knew where he would most likely be and she was proven sadly correct when seeing him slowly swing on the tree swing, staring at the other students in the yard.

It pained her that she didn't have the courage to go and comfort him or at the very least talk to him. She could see him as he gazed upon the others until he locked his blue eyes with her pale lavender ones, but Hinata ducked behind another student a few seconds afterwards.

Her face red as a tomato, the bell for homeroom could be heard throughout the yard signaling the start of the day.

Naruto watched as everyone either entered the academy or hung out in the yard from his tree swing, the one place no one really bothered to go to. He now knew why everyone avoided, bullied and harassed him. Why he was overall mistreated by the teachers. Why they all glared and whispered and beat him!

'Can't get angry here. I must act normal. I can do this.' Calming down, he opened his eyes and continued to scan the yard. His blue eyes met pale lavender eyes but just as he spotted them, they disappeared into the crowd. 'Why does it seem like I've seen those eyes before?'

Hearing the bell for homeroom, Naruro made his way inside, hearing all the whispering and feeling the glares the parents shot at him. Once inside he could tell someone was watching him, but seeing as he couldn't feel any negative emotion from them he decided not to act out on them.

Arriving at the room that he would once again have to dumb though, he was surprised when he not only saw someone new, it also said new sensei on the board. He knew it was only a matter of time before he was once again sent out of class for some unknown bullshit, but was pleasantly surprised when he made it past roll call and thought the whole first half of the day without being called on or anything.

Naruto could feel the negative emotions coming off the man as he stared at him but he didn't act out on them nor treat him differently than anyone else, so he decided to not prank the new sensei until he acted first.

As it was lunch time, Naruto decided to head up to the roof and relax instead of pranking the teachers or anything. Laying down and closing his eyes, Naruto slowly went into his subconscious mindscape.

Opening his eyes, Naruto wasn't surprised to see he was back in the dome sewer room, seeing the fox. He could tell she was sleeping by her breathing and didn't want to wake her, so he slowly entered the cage and laid down right beside her paw.

After a few seconds he felt one of her tails lift him up and placed him right beside her face. "Thought you were asleep."

"Thought we could relax together." It was a calm and relaxed silence that both of them realised they hadn't had before, and were glad it was with each other.

Hinata was happy to have a sensei that -for whatever reason- didn't discriminate against her blond crush. She spent most of the class time staring at the blond, and was a wonder how she still took notes down. Once it was time for their first break, she noticed that Naruto was going for the roof, where he laid down on the bench and seemed to have gone to sleep.

Hinata would have thought something was wrong if not for the smile and the relaxed expression on his face, the first one she realized was truly genuine. Seeing the wind blow a blond strand over his eye, she carefully brushed it away, a smile ghosting her lips. Oh how she dreamt of the day she could do this with him awake and in reverse, a blush dusting her cheeks thinking about it.

She was about to get up and leave -not having realized how long she was staring at the blond boy- when noticing that their break was almost over, and would have left unnoticed like all the other times when he suddenly opened his eyes. Time froze as Hinata starred in his deep and mysterious blue eyes, and his into her pale lavender eyes.

It was only after thirty seconds that she snapped out of her gazing, face blazing into a red sun blush.

The next thing she knew she was in class again where they will take their lunch break and then move on to outside. Hinata kept her head low for the entire time, embarrassed that she was caught staring at her crush while he was sleeping. 'He's going to think I'm a creep now!'

She was mentally crying by now, already thinking her chances of being with him were over. And once their lunch break came, she was going to hide and sulk while slowly eating her food and thinking about how she probably destroyed any hope of being with the blond. With her planned set in motion, imagine her surprise when she saw Naruto walking towards her not a few minutes after she began to eat.

The academy was a big building with three floors, a large field for all physical activities and a pretty good size forest for the older kids. Most of the students kept close to the building where there were a few trees scattered for shade and hung out in their well respected groups. Hinata was never a big group person and enjoyed the quiet the forest gave her, and she knew for a fact that her blond crush always leaves to eat ramen, sometimes not coming back to class.

Her first action was to blush mildly, thinking of all the things that could happen with them in the empty forest. That was soon dismissed when she realized he was probably here to tell her not to come near him ever again and make fun of her. She was ready for the negative verbal comments and only hoped it didn't get physical.

All that was washed away with his first few words. "Your Hinata right? I'm Uzumaki Naruto." She heard him say in a calm and relaxed tone, opening her eyes and looking at him. At least he doesn't sound like he hated her, which made her happy inside. She nodded her head, not trusting herself to speak as she was already trying not to faint.

"Do you mind if I sit here?"

"S-sure!" She said a little too excited but didn't care at the moment. All she cared about was that NARUTO WAS SITTING BESIDE HER! AND DOESN'T HATE HER! She would have been jumping with joy if she didn't think he wouldn't call her crazy and creeping for doing that. They sat in a rather comfortable and awkward silence, before she broke it.

"S-sor-sorry about earlier" Hinata said above a whisperer, head down and poking her fingers together. This earned a light chuckle from him which made her cheeks flush a light red. "It's alright. It's not like you had bad thoughts as you were watching me.", Naruto said humorously, causing her to flush deeper.

Gathering her thoughts and all the courage she could muster, she grabbed her bento and held it up to him. "D-do you wa-want some, Naruto-s-san."

Naruto looked at her and then at the food, thinking it over. He didn't have enough money to buy ramen from them, but he was sure he could get a few free bowls with how much he spends there a month, except that he couldn't do that to his precious people. "Are you sure it's alright?"

Hinata could only shake her head, grabbing an extra pair of chopsticks and heading them to him. They ate in silence. A silence of understanding that it was awkward to talk but comfortable to not say anything. Hearing the bell that signaled the end of lunch, the duo made their way back to the classes. "Thanks again for the food, it was really good.", Naruto said, flashing her a smile.

Hinata blushed at his praise. "Ano. Th-thank you, Nar-Naruto-san!" Naruto chuckled at her stuttering and blushes, thinking they were cute. "No need to be so formal with me, Hinata-chan."

"The-then, is Naru-Naruto-kun good?"

"Much better. How about we sit together seeing as we're now friends!" If Naruto didn't know if she was happy, he sure knew now. She was practically glowing with happiness that he found it impossible to think she could be deceiving him in the slightest. "Yes! I m-mean, if-if you would li-like."

Naruto didn't know why but something about the girl told him she could be trusted. It could be how she would share her notes and help him with assignments. How she would always share her lunch with him, finding out she had made her lunches herself. Or the fact that she would blush and smile all the time with him. But what really made him feel like he could trust her was that he could practically feel how happy she was whenever he was around.

It's been a month since the two had started to become friends, and in that time Naruto had learned to better sense the emotions of people. People with negative emotions or feelings, had a color of red and black around them. People who were happy and excited were a bright yellow, something he thought resembled spring. People who neither hated or liked him were gray.

But he felt something more with Hinata. He could feel the happiness radiating from her, but also something else. Something that reminded him of a cherry blossom tree, pink in color and was just as bright -if not brighter- than her happiness.

He had tried to talk to Kyuubi about it, only to receive a laugh and saying how he didn't understand a maiden's heart.

Naruto's class was currently at Physical Education, where students practiced throwing kunai and shuriken, sparring, and other physical activities. Today students were sparring, boys vs boys and girls vs girls. While the class huddled around the sparring ring, Naruto and Hinata- who didn't like large crowds- stayed at the back, laughing and playing together. Nomaly they were left alone and not bothered, but not this time. Hinata had been telling Naruto of a boy that has been constantly harassing her about dating him, and while she hadn't told him who, she also didn't want him to get into any trouble.

"Hinata-chan!" Naruto heard someone say, watching as Hinata froze. Turning his head to get a good look of the boy, Naruto felt a growl escape his mouth. Unruly brown hair with black eyes, long canines and red markings on his cheeks. A gray overcoat and pants, along with blue shinobi saddles. He should have known Inuzuka Kiba was the one harassing her, no one else had the balls to ask out a princess but a clan heir.

Kiba reached the duo, ignoring Naruto and forcing his eyes on the Hyūga. "He-hel-lo K-ki-ba-san." Naruto narrowed his eyes, sensing how Hinata's colour changed and seeing the Inuzuka color. No longer was there the brightness of yellow and pink, now a distinctive grey with spots of red and black, which surprised him. While he could see a dark purple color coming off him, and with the way his eyes were roaming over her, Naruto knew he now hated that colour.

As Kiba reached to grab Hinata's, Naruto pulled her behind him taking a defensive stance. "What the hell's your problem, loser! We were talking!" Kiba exclaimed angrily, stepping up to the blond. Naruto just looked into the Inuzuka eyes before turning around and walking away with a blushing Hinata.

"Where do you think you're going!?" He said reaching for Hinata's other hand only for Naruto to pull her out of his reach. That was strike one. "Don't touch her!" Naruto growled out.

Kiba flinched when he said that, swearing he saw the boy's eyes turn red for a split second. Even if his instincts were telling him to run away, his pride told him to show this clanless loser who's boss. "And what's a nobody like you going to do, huh? It's not like you would be able to ever achieve anything as an orphan, whose parents didn't love you enough to even keep you!"

That was strike two.

Naruto could feel his anger rising, about to kill the boy in front of him if not for Hinata squeezing his hand. "Do-don't listen to him, Naruto-kun." Kiba heard her say, fist clenched tightly at his side.

"Fight me!" Kiba shouted, drawing the attention of the others at the sparring ring. "The winner gets the Hyūga!" He said pointing to Hinata, who flinched at the way he addressed her.

"No."

"Ha! Scared are you?"

"I'm not fighting because Hinata isn't an object, and I don't need to fight a self entitled person like yourself to know I already won." If they were alone Kiba would have beat the shit of him right there, but since his sensei was there, he couldn't afford to get into trouble.

Quickly thinking on how to get him into the ring before class ended, he had an idea. "I get it now, she must have done you some service. Especially with those sluttly eyes of hers!"

Naruto went rigid, not only by what he said but by how it made his friend feel. He could feel her shake and hear her cry at what the boy said, and that pissed him off.

"I get it now, she must have done you some service. Especially with those sluttly eyes of hers!" Hinata heard him say, it broke her heart. She knew her clan's Dojutsu was basically x-ray vision, but to say something like that made her cry.

Before she could cry any longer, she felt Naruto's soft but firm figures wipe her tears away. Looking up, she was surprised to see a gentle smile and it calmed her down. Looking into his eyes, she saw absolute fury in them, and it wasn't pointed at her. "Don't worry, it'll just be a second." He told her, leading her to the ring, Kiba following behind.

She saw Kiba enter first, while her Naruto started to take off his saddles and orange jumpsuit jacket. "Hold this for me?" He handed her said jacket. It was the first time she's seen him with it off, and she now understood why. With how his black t-shirt hugged his body, it put any first year academy student to shame. She could see the once confident Kiba gulp nervously as he saw Naruto's body and it made her excited to see him get pounded into the ground.

Iruka didn't really want to let the two of them 'spar' but after hearing what the Inuzuka said about Hinata, and how protective Naruto was, he was honestly cheering for the blond to win. "If both fighters are ready, make the sign and...START!"

Kiba was the first to make a move, rushing forward and throwing a punch straight at Naruto only to receive what felt like a kick to the stomach. After hitting the ground a few times, the brown haired boy skidded to a stop at the edge of the ring. 'What the hell was up with that kick!?'

"With all that boasting about being an alpha, you sure act like a beta. Only being able to take a kick to the stomach." Kiba growled, before getting up and dashing at the blond, who just continued to dodge the very predictable punches the Inuzuka was throwing. "Why won't you stand still and get hit like the orphan you-" Kiba got cut off by a slap to the face, face planting the ground at the blonds feet. Slowly lifting his eyes up at the blond, he could see the absolute blank look in them before he was kicked in the face.

"Now if this is all the Inuzuka hair can do, then you must be a disappointment to the clan." Naruto said, walking up to the boy who was struggling to get up. "Sh-shut up." Kiba said, standing up on shaking legs. "Or what? You have no strength left I bet, using everything you have left to stand up." Stopping in front of the already defeated boy, Naruto gave him a chance. "Apologize to Hinata-chan and never try this again, and I'll let everything end here."

"You and your little bitch can-" but before he could continue, Naruto punched him in the face, successfully breaking his nose, knocking a few teeth out, and knocking him out.

During the entire beatdown, Hinata was not only strangely happy that the Inuzuka was destroyed, but also excited to see how it was all for her. She felt butterflies in her stomach, blushing as Naruto came back over to her. "Thanks for holding this." Naruto said, grabbing his jacket and putting it on, before taking her hand into his and leading her inside just as Iruka called it a day.

It was that day the students in Iruka's class learned that they shouldn't ever mess with Hinata, or end up like Inuzuka Kiba. The rest of the day carried on as normal and soon everyone started to leave the academy, but since Hinata had to wait for her escort, Naruto waited with her. "Yu-you were so co-cool, Naruto-kun!" Hinata said blushing, remembering how strong he was. "Was I? I just couldn't stand what that dog boy said about you, it just made me furious. The way he was looking at you just, aaarrrgghh!"

Hinata couldn't stop the blush from overtaking her face and just before Naruto could comment on if she was alright, her escort could be seen. Seeing as this would be the best time as any, Hinata faced Naruto and brought her face against his, giving him a kiss that only lasted but for a few seconds before she got up and ran the rest of the way to her escort. 'I did it! I kissed Naruto-kun!'

Naruto on the other hand was blushing just as bad as Hinata now, fingers over his lips. In those few seconds on contract, he could feel the softness and tenderness her lips felt like along with them tasting strangely like cinnamon. "Are you okay there, Naruto?" he heard behind him, snapping him out of thought. "Iruka-sensei?"

"Why don't you join me? I know this awesome ramen, and if what I saw just happened, I'm sure I can help ask any questions you might have." Naruto's cheeks blushed at what he was saying but nodded his head anyway.

The next day Naruto had arrived early at his and Hinata's spot, and since he knew she was normally one of the first students to arrive at the academy, he had pretty good odds she would arrive early like him. And he was right as he saw Hinata enter the small forest clearing behind the academy, where she joined Naruto on the ground. "Hinata-chan/Naruto-kun!" They said similarity causing them to chuckle. "You first," He said, allowing his friend to speak.

"I-I just want to thank you again for ye-yesterday, and that I...I like you! You were my first friend and I've been the happiest with this past month. I don't know if you remember but you saved once before, just a few weeks before starting the academy. Some kids were picking on me about my e-eyes and as I was crying you came and defended me. You fought for me even before meeting me, and I'm so-so thankful to have a friend like you!" By the end of it Hinata had tears in her eyes, not because she was sad or regretted putting her feelings out for him but because she finally realized how much he meant to her.

Naruto didn't know what to say, so he acted. Wiping her tears he gently placed his lips onto hers, this one lasting ten seconds before pulling apart. "I love you.", he said before getting tackled and kissed again.

"Tell her" he heard in his head.

After a few more seconds of kissing, Naruto pulled her away so he could see her face. "There's something I need to tell you, but don't freak out or anything, it ain't bad." Getting a nod from her, Naruto calmed his fast beating heart. This one moment will make or break him, literally break him if she screams and runs, telling everyone what he said and end up with dog boy.

"I have the Kyuubi-no-Kitsune within me." He waited for her reaction as he couldn't feel a change in her colour. "How does it fit inside you?" Kyuubi herself burst into laughter at that response. "How I fit inside you, she said! Hahahaha! Hahahaha!"

"I've thought of that myself but she said she's sealed within my stomach." Naruto explained. "T-the Kyuubi is a g-girl?" "I prefer being called a sexy female Goddess."

"I myself was surprised as well, but that's not the point. Are you ok with knowing that?" Hinata just gave him a quick kiss on the lips, "does that a-answer your question?"

"Maybe a few more, just be certain." Just as they were leaning in, the bell ran to start the day. "Ma-maybe next time, Naruto-kun." Hinata said, getting up and dusting off her butt, before holding her hand out for him.

In a far distant realm a single human voice could be heard over the roars and cries of the crowd below.

"Do not worry my children, for our champion shall summon us from the pools of darkness and bring life to you all! He shall be the new God of this realm and lead you all in my place, with his first lover beside him!"

"The time is soon shall he be summoned here, our wait is almost to an end!"

And that's chapter two! Hot damn was this exciting. Few things first. Hinata stuttering- since she's friends with Naruto and is always around him, her stuttering isn't like canon but is still there. I tried to make it look as natural as possible.

Second thing, it looks like I'm going to make this into a slight crossover with a few different anime. I'll be dropping hints either throughout the chapter or at the end like I did with this one. Who can guess where this one is from? First few get a shout out in the next chapter!

Naruto empathy (sensing the feeling of others) and its color, it was to help describe the different emotions. Hinata was a special case where she was not only extremely happy and excited to see Naruto but was also in love with him, hence the cherry blossom pink. I tried not to go with a Sakura tree so people wouldn't be confused with Sakura the character.

Kyuubi has not revealed her name yet, but will soon. She won't be with Naruto but more of a mother figure, and will get a physical body within the next few chapters.

Time skip in next chapter. Since there's about five years of the academy, it'll go something like this.

First years- 1 year basic subjects like literature, mathematics, Konoha history etc. And free sparring.

Second years- 2 years mathematics, Fire country History, literature, and class sparring tournament, kunai and shuriken practice, P.E class tournaments.

Third years- 2 years Elemental Nations History, mathematics, literature, shinobi 101 class, survival classes, advanced Kunai and Shuriken practice, P.E class tournaments, class sparring tournament.

This is pretty much the outline of the academy five years.

With how fast Naruto and Hinata's relationship progressed, let me explain simply. Naruto caught Hinata watching him and since he never actively noticed her, never noticed her colour. Then finding out that Hinata had wanted to be his friend and that she was always the happiest with him, noticed how there was something more to it. Then when Naruto fought Kiba, she expressed herself by giving him a quick kiss and after a long talk with Iruka, he realized his feelings for her.

I hope that explains it. Oh and whole Kyuubi is within him, there will be a flashback on the night of October tenth.

like I said in the last chapter, things will be nice and soft in the few beginning chapters, so hang on tight.

That seemed to be it, dear readers.

Like! Favorite! And review/comment to give me your thoughts. I do read them even if I don't always reply in author notes or anything.

Till Next Time!
