Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 4
Mario, Link, and Pit are walking around the Smash Mansion and talking about the exhibition match from yesterday.
"The match from yesterday was so exciting! Mario was like POW and SLAM! While Link is all SLASH and BOOM! I haven't seen an exciting match like that since the Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament." Pit says.
"During that time, we weren't that good of Smashers." Link says.
"Yeah, my attacks weren't as strong as in this tournament. They really gave me and Link good buffs for this tournament." Mario says.
"Hopefully there's no Smasher that's like Meta Knight and his crazy aerials and tornado attacks." Pit says, remembering the torture when he fought Meta Knight.
"Even though I'm sad that Ice Climbers aren't here, hopefully there's no Smasher that's like them where they keep grabbing you and throwing you repeatedly and finish you with a Smash Attack." Link says, remembering Ice Climbers chain grab combo.
"Sakurai told us in this tournament that he and the balancing team balance up everyone here so we can be able to fight well. Thank goodness for that." Mario says.
"Speaking of tournaments, how about we go to the training room and test out our what's new moveset?" Pit suggests.
"That's a great idea." Link agrees.
While they're heading to the training room, Mario found a paper on the ground, picks it up, and reads it. "A Giant Book is attacking the Castle. Please help!"
"What is it, Mario?" Link asks.
"This is a mission request. I never seen something like this before in a Smash Tournament." Mario replies.
"I wonder if this is something Sakurai prepared for us as something we can do in the Smash Mansion." Pit wondered.
Suddenly, the mission request paper glow and a Smash Portal appeared in front of them.
"Why did a Smash Portal suddenly appeared?" Link wondered.
"Maybe it's supposed to take us to our destination where the mission is." Mario says.
"Let's go in!" Pit exclaims.
"Are you sure we should go? What if Sakurai is going to announce this kind of thing later to the other Smashers?" Mario asks.
"Then we get a head start before everyone else. It's like being a special VIP to something." Pit replies.
"The Smash Portal is already up so we should just go in and do the mission." Link says.
Mario, Link, and Pit go into the Smash Portal and travel to their destination.

The three Smashers arrived to their destination, Princess Peach's Castle. A lot of Toads are all outside panicking around. Mario, Link, and Pit go up to the Toads.
"Everyone, we're here to stop the Giant Book." Mario announces.
The Toads all stop and were relief that Mario is here and Toads worth walks up to them.
"Master Mario, Master Link, Master Pit, it's good to see you here." Toadsworth happily says.
"Hey Toadsworth, it's been a while." Pit happily greeted.
"Where's this Giant Book that's attacking?" Link asks.
"He's right in the library. Let me escort you there." Toadsworth replies.
As soon as Toadsworth take Mario, Link, and Pit to the library, he runs back outside the Castle.
"Is Toadsworth really that scared of a book?" Pit wonders.
"Let's go find that book and destroy it so we can go back to the Smash Mansion. I don't feel comfortable being here even though she's not here." Mario says.
The three Smashers go inside the library and suddenly, a Giant Book appeared and roars at them.
"That's one scary book! This is why I hate reading." Pit says, getting his Palutena's Bow ready.
"But you don't know how to read." Link says, getting his Master Sword and Hyrule Shield ready.
"That's why I hate reading!" Pit exclaims.
"Focus you two. Let's take it out." Mario ordered.
The Giant Book roared and summons books to attack the Smashers. Link and Pit use their Bows to shoot Arrows at the Books coming for them and Mario jumps on the book and lands blows of Punches and Kicks. The Giant Book flies around in high speed to shake off Mario, but he hang on as tight as he can to not let go. Link continues shooting Arrows while Pit slowly flies to the Giant Book and lands Blade Strikes on it. The Giant Book roared loudly and slams into Pit, sending him flying into a wall. Then the Giant Book shook of Mario and slams him to the floor and follows it up with a stronger slam. Link runs up to it and stabs the Giant Book with his Master Sword. The Giant Book screamed in pain and rams into Link, sending him flying into another wall. The Giant Book then summons all the books in the Library to attack the three Smashers. Mario, Link, and Pit do their best to withstand the attack. Mario throws a Fireball at the Giant Book and hits it, causing to burn. The Giant Bok screams in pain while burning.
"Link, Pit, we have to use fire base attacks." Mario ordered.
"My Remote Bombs are energy based this time. I'll use them to knock him out." Link says.
"And I don't have anything fire based, so I'll just distract him." Pit says.
Pit runs to the other side of the Giant Book and shoots out Light Arrows. While the Giant Book is distracted by Pit, Link climbs onto the Giant Book and prepares some Remote Bombs on it. Mario jumps into the air and hits the Giant Book with a barrage of Fireballs. The Giant Book is slowly burning, but still chasing after Pit who's still shooting Light Arrows at it. Link jumps off the Giant Book and detonates the Remote Bomb, sending the Giant Book down on the ground.
"Time to end this." Mario throws a huge barrage of Fireballs at the Giant Book, causing a lot of damage to it.
The Giant Book cried in pain and slowly vanishes away in thin air.
"Yeah!" Mario, Link, and Pit cheered and do a union high-five.

Mario, Link, and Pit went out of the Castle the Toads cheer for the three heroes.
"Thank you so much for saving us!" Toadsworth thanked.
"No problem. How did this happen in the first place?" Mario asks.
"Well, I was just organizing the Books with a couple of Toads. Then suddenly, a Giant Book appeared out of nowhere and attacked us. I don't know how it appeared either." Toadsworth replies.
"Well it's all over now." Link says.
"Lesson learned, never read a book again if something like that is going to happen again." Pit says.
"Books aren't always like that." Link corrected.
Toadsworth gives each Smasher a bag of five hundred golden coins.
"What is this for?" Mario asks.
"This is a reward for completing the mission I sent. I thought you knew since it was on the paper." Toadsworth says.
"When I read the paper, it was partly ripped." Mario says.
"Oh dear. Now you know." Toadsworth says.
"Thank you for the reward." the three Smashers said together.
"I'll be making more requests if something like this happened or if I need any help with something else. So come again if you like." Toadsworth says.
"We will comeback another time. See you later, Toadsworth. "Mario says.

Mario, Link, and Pit arrived at the Smash Mansion and head to the cafeteria for lunch. As they arrived, Sakurai stopped them.
"Where did you three go? All the Smashers are eating lunch now." Sakurai asks.
"We found some mission request paper on the floor earlier and went on a mission at Princess Peach's Castle." Pit replies.
"Sorry for going on a mission without you knowing." Link apologizes.
"It's ok, I just wanted to know where you three were that's all. The mission requests were something I was suppose to announce later on at the auditorium." Sakurai says.
"So it was something you're planning to announce." Mario says.
"Since you three were the first ones to go on a mission, I'll tell you the other details on why there are mission requests. I thought it's a good idea to charge a monthly fee since this is a big mansion and that there are a lot more Smashers here. And another thing that I have mission requests is that it can have Smashers from different worlds to go to other worlds they never been before and help anyone from there. That way it can help unite the different worlds to become one." Sakurai stated.
"That makes a lot of sense." Link agrees.
"How much does the rent cost?" Mario asks.
"Five hundred Smash Coins. I'm going to increase the price some time in the future." Sakurai replies.
"But we only have five hundred gold coins." Pit pointed out.
"Don't worry, I can convert them into Smash coins in my office. Would you like to pay now?" Sakurai asks. Mario, Link, and Pit nod yes and gives their coins to him. "Thanks for your payment. I'll convert these to Smash Coins now."
Sakurai goes to his office while Mario, Link, and Pit head to the cafeteria to eat.
