Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 11
It was a nice and sunny day and the wind is breezy which is enough to just be outside and enjoy the weather. Mario sits down on one of the benches in front of the Smash Mansion and enjoy the nice breeze going through his face.
"The breeze is so nice today. I can just sit here for the rest of the day with this kind of weather." Mario says.
"Hey Mario."
Mario looks back and sees Lyn coming out of the door. "Oh, Lyn, I thought I was the only Smasher here since everyone else is out on a mission. How's it going?"
"Good, I just finished my training and learned some new things. What are you doing?" Lyn asks.
"Just enjoying this weather. It makes me feel really relaxed. The sun is bright and shining, and the wind blowing to my face feels amazing." Mario replies.
"Can I sit with you?" Lyn asks.
"Of course!" Mario replies.
Mario scoot some space and Lyn sits down. The wind blew to their face and made Lyn remember something important.
"This wind and weather reminds me of the place that I grew up in." Lyn says.
"Where are you from?" Mario asks.
"In my world, I lived in the Plains." Lyn replies.
"In the Plains? You mean a huge grassy area?" Mario asks.
"That's right! I was even called a nomad because of all the traveling we do." Lyn replies.
"You don't look like you're from the Plains, you look like you're a Princess when I first met you." Mario says.
Lyn smiles. "Stop, you're making me blush. Well, my mother was actually a Noble, but my father was born in the Plains. She decided to live in the Plains and be free, then staying in the castle and be royalty. I actually enjoy that myself."
"Interesting. What do you do for housing and food? And," Mario asks.
"I live in tents called yurts. Since it's in the Plains, I look for my own food, water, and shelter. Not that hard if you have the right skills." Lyn replies.
"Wow, that sounds really nice. It's like camping everyday." Mario says.
"You're right it is. And the best thing is lying down on the grass. It's so soft that you don't need pillow or a bed to lay down on." Lyn says.
"That sounds really nice. You should take me there with one of the Smash Portals." Mario says.
"You know I will! It'll be really nice for you to come to my world and experience what it's like to be in the Plains where I'm from." Lyn says.
Mario smiles. "I'll make us some food for a picnic too when we go."
"You know how to cook?" Lyn surprisingly asks.
"Yep. Well… I know how to cook spaghetti and some other dishes. I'm not the best at cooking, but I can definitely cook one of the best spaghetti you'll ever tasted." Mario says.
"Spaghetti? What is that? I never tried something like that before." Lyn says.
Mario's eyes popped out? "Never?! Lyn, you're really missing out. Spaghetti is the best Italian dish to eat next to lasagna and ravioli."
"These are funny food names. Food must be really tasty if you're really calling it the best." Lyn says.
"It is. By the time we go to our picnic, I'll make one of the best spaghetti you'll ever tasted." Mario says.
Lyn smiles. "I'll be looking forward to it then."
Mario smiles and continues enjoying the nice weather with company.

Mario and Lyn head back into the Smash Mansion and Sakurai goes up to them.
"Excuse me, Mario, Lyn, I have a favor to ask you two." Sakurai says.
"What you like us to do?" Mario asks.
"I'm really busy in contacting some newcomers to come here. Since you two are the only ones free in the Smash Mansion, I would like you to buy a list of groceries for the Smash Mansion please." Sakurai asks, bringing out a piece of paper.
"We can do the shopping, Sakurai. Just leave it to us." Lyn happily says.
"Thank you, you two. I'll reward you something in the future. I'll set a Smash Portal to Smash City." Sakurai says, returning to his office.
Mario and Lyn head to the Smash Market to buy the groceries.
"What are Link and Pit doing? Usually you're with with them." Lyn asks.
"They're on a mission together. I was supposed to go, but I overslept." Mario replies.
Lyn giggles. "Shouldn't have done that."
"No worries, I can always go on another mission another time. So what's on the list?" Mario asks.
"Let's see, we need to buy ten boxes cookie dough, ten boxes of cake mix, and twenty containers of ice cream." Lyn reads the list.
"Does it say what kind of each or can we choose?" Mario asks.
"It's stated that, Princess Peach wants five boxes chocolate chip cookie dough, five boxes of sugar cookie dough, five boxes of chocolate cake mix, five boxes of birthday cake mix, and the ice cream we can choose." Lyn replies.
After hearing Peach's name, Mario felt broken inside. "Peach huh?"
"Princess Peach is such a nice person. One time she made me a cake with frosted strawberries and it was so delicious!" Lyn says.
"Yeah… that's true. Peach is one heck of a baker..." Mario says, looking down.
Lyn looks at Mario and sees him looking kind of depressed. "Are you ok, Mario?"
Mario changes his expression with a fake smile. "Yeah I'm ok."
"You looked like that when we spectated her match from a few weeks ago. Is something wrong?" Lyn asks.
"Nope, nothing is wrong. Everything is A ok! Let's go get everything on the list. We shouldn't let Peach and the others wait long." Mario replies.
Lyn shrugs and follows Mario. "If you say so."
Mario and Lyn finished buying everything they need and arrived back at the Smash Mansion. Mario and Lyn put all of the groceries in the Kitchen.
"Today was a nice day. Thanks for hanging out with me, Lyn." Mario thanked.
"You don't have to thank me for that. I thought it was really nice hanging out with you too." Lyn happily says.
"We should do this kind of thing again when Sakurai needs help." Mario suggests.
"I agree. I actually like doing chores with you." Lyn happily says.
While Mario and Lyn continue talking, Peach comes in and was surprised to see the two of them talking.
"Oh hi Mario, Lyn." Peach happily greeted.
"Hello, Princess Peach. We got everything you need from the store." Lyn says.
"You did? Thank you for picking them up. How about I make you a cake for you two?" Peach suggests.
"That'll be nice!" Lyn happily says.
"Uhh... I'm ok... Still kind of full from lunch. Let's talk again next time, Lyn." Mario says. He walks out of the kitchen.
"Umm... ok?" Lyn says, confused on why he left. "Did something happened between the two of you?"
"No... Everything is good between the both of us. Mario's actually full since he ate a big lunch. So what kind of cake should I bake you?" Peach asks.
