Super Smash Bros adventures chapter 15
Mario and Wii Fit Trainer arrived back at the Smash Mansion after doing a mission, at Ness's world.
"Thanks for helping me out, Mario. Today's mission gave us a good workout." Wii Fit Trainer thanked.
"No problem. It was fun doing that mission with you." Mario says.
"How about you and I go for a walk around the Smash Park? It's a nice day to go for one."Wii Fit Trainer suggests.
"Sounds good. Let's a go!" Mario says.
As they're about to walk, Little Mac arrived back from his mission, feeling really tired that he was sweating a lot. "Never again..."
"Hey Little Mac, how's your mission?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.
"You look really tired from your mission. Did something happen?" Mario stated.
"It was Terrible! I had to take out all of these Bubbles who were terrorizing some fairies in a fountain near the Forest Temple!" Little Mac rants.
"Bubbles?" Mario asks.
"They're fire phantom airborne enemies. I don't even know what they'd want around a fairy mountain. The only way I can fight them is using my air attacks. I can throw a good Punch on the ground, but not in the air." Little Mac says.
"Well, you know what they say, Boxers aren't air fighters." Wii Fit Trainer points out.
"That's what Doc told me. Boxers always fight on the ground, not the air." Little Mac grumbles.
"Who is this Doc person? When we go on jogs together, you always mention him." Wii Fit Trainer asks.
"He's my Boxing Instructor. He helped me become world champion in my world. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have gotten that far." Little Mac replies.
"He sounds like a great man. I should meet up with him and maybe he can give me some tips of being an instructor." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"I want to see you sparing in a Boxing match again one day." Mario says, remembering the old days.
"You watched him fight before, Mario?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.
"Surprisingly, he was a referee before. He's really good at it." Little Mac replies.
"Wow, you have so done so many things." Wii Fit Trainer surprisingly says.
"If you guys like, I actually have a Boxing Match next week. Doc sent me a letter earlier today that if I want to come and defend my title. Would you two like to come?" Little Mac asks.
"Of course!" Wii Fit Trainer happily replies.
"It'll be like the old days seeing you in the ring." Mario says, who can't hold his excitement.
"Wii Fit Trainer, would you like to help me get ready for next week? Some cardio exercise will help." Little Mac asks.
Wii Fit Trainer smiles. "Of course! They don't call me Wii Fit Trainer for nothing. We'll start after our walk around Smash Park."
"Let me change and we can start." Mario says, going to his room.
"While we're waiting, let's do some stretches." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Yes Mam!" Little Mac says, as the two begin to stretch.
…
One week later.
Little Mac is waiting in front of the Smash Mansion for Mario and Wii Fit Trainer. Since this was a title match, he can't afford to be late. "Come on, where are they? I can't be late for this... I'll lose my title as champion if I don't make it in time."
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Little Mac."
"It's ok, we still have ti-" Little Mac stops talking and stares at Wii Fit Trainer with awe. She's dressed up in a blue cardigan with a white skit. "Wow... for a fitness trainer, you look like a model."
"Did you say something?" Wii Fit Trainer asks.
Little Mac stops staring and looks down trying to hide his red face. "Nope. Nothing at all. Got to learn how to keep my big mouth shut."
"There you two are."
Mario appears with Lyn.
"Oh, Lyn's coming too." Little Mac surprisingly says.
"I told her when I was just heading out and she said she wanted to come." Mario says.
"Sorry for inviting myself in. I was really interested in this event you'll be partaking my in." Lyn apologizes.
"It's ok. The more people the merrier. Don't you want to change into something more casual?" Little Mac asks, realizing Lyn is wearing her normal clothes.
"It's ok. I feel comfortable wearing this outfit anyways." Lyn replies.
"Shall we get going?" Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Let's go now. Don't want to be late." Little Mac says.
The Smashers went into the Smash Portal that Sakurai prepared for them took them to an old run out Gym where Little Mac always trains in.
Little Mac walks to a Punching Bag, lands some Punches, and dust comes out of it. "Been a while since I've been here."
"You must really miss this place." Wii Fit Trainer says, looking around at all the equipment.
"It maybe a small Gym, but it has done so much for me." Little Mac says.
Mario and Lyn look around the Gym together.
"Mario, will you explain to me how Boxing works?" Lyn asks.
"Well, Boxing is a fighting sport where each Boxer have to either land a good amount of Punches when both Boxers go through every round or when one of the Boxers is knocked out for ten seconds. Like how Little Mac fights, he only uses his fists to do the talking." Mario replies.
"Must be really entertaining to watch. In my world, we only have that kind of thing, but with Swords, Spears, or other weapons." Lyn says.
"You'll see it's a lot different than your traditional weapon sparing." Mario's says.
"Mac, is that you son?"
The Smashers look where the voice came from and sees a tall man wearing a red training jacket, blue jogging pants, and a chocolate bar in his hand walking into the room.
Little Mac smiles and waves at him. "Hey there Doc. You miss me?"
Doc Louis, Little Mac's Boxing Trainer starts tearing up in happiness and hugs Little Mac really tightly. "Oh Mac, I've missed you so much. You look like you're doing all right. Did you get all the letters I sent you?"
"Yep, and I read everyone of them. And thank you for sending me my favorite chocolate bars." Little Mac says.
"That's my boy. If you hadn't read my letters, I would've Star Punch you like I did before." Doc says, laughing.
"This must be Little Mac's coach." Wii Fit Trainer says, watching the two talking.
"He looks like a father to him." Lyn says, smiling.
Doc notices Mario, Lyn, and Wii Fit Trainer. "You brought some guests with you."
"Yeah, they're friends from the Super Smash Bros tournament I'm in." Little Mac says.
Doc looks at Mario closely, and remembers him as a referee before. "Hey! Long time no see buddy! How's it going?"
"Doing well." Mario responds, as they shake hands.
"And who are you two?" Doc asks.
"My name is Wii Fit Trainer, a Yoga Instructor. I help Little Mac with some basic training." Wii Fit Trainer introduces herself.
"And my name is Lyndis, but you can call me Lyn." Lyn introduces herself.
"Nice to meet you both." Doc goes to Little Mac's ear and whispers. "So… which one of these lovely ladies are you dating?"
"I'm not dating anyone!" Little Mac hisses.
"What?! You've been in that tournament for a couple of months and you're not dating anyone? Listen son, I'll teach you how I get girls when I was your age." Doc whispers.
"I don't need that kind of lesson." Little Mac whispers.
"So, when is the boxing match?" Mario asks.
"It's supposed to start in an hour." Little Mac replies.
"About that, there may not be a Boxing match tonight." Doc sadly admits.
"What?!" everyone blurts out shocked.
"The ref for tonight's match is sick and can't make it." Doc sadly says.
"Can't we have someone else to be a referee?" Lyn asks.
"There's no other ref since the others are either busy commentating another match or out for vacation. So that means the Boxing match will have to be canceled." Doc sadly says.
Mario looks at Little Mac, who stares at the ground disappointed. He wish there's something he can do, but then realizes that there is something he can do. "Doc Louis, I have something to offer."
"And what will that be?" Doc asks.
Mario smiles and whispers to his ear.
...
Later at night, Lyn and Wii Fit Trainer are sitting in the front row for the Boxing match.
"I'm happy that the Boxing match is not canceled." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Me too. Surprisingly we have someone else to become the referee. By the way, where's Mario?" Lyn asks.
Wii Fit Trainer smiles. "You'll see him soon."
The referee goes up to the stage. Lyn turns really surprised when he sees Mario in a white buttoned up shirt and black tie and pants.
"Mario?! What is he doing there?" Lyn surprisingly says.
"That's right! Mario isn't just a plumber who save Princesses, he was also a referee for boxing before." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Wow. He never told me that." Lyn surprisingly says.
Mario takes out a microphone from his pocket and begins the introduction. "Welcome everyone to tonight's main event. It's-a-me, Mario! And I'll be your referee for tonight's Boxing Match!"
The crowd applauds and cheer, that the Boxing match wasn't canceled and that they have a super star going to commentate the match.
"Without further ado, let's a bring out our fighters!" Mario exclaims. "In this corner, we have King Hippo!"
The crowd has mixed reactions of the large heavy Boxer with a crown on his head.
"Ha ha! The belt will be mine!" King Hippo exclaims.
"And in this corner, we have the Boxing champion, Little Mac!" Mario introduces.
The crowd cheer for the little boxer, especially since he's been invited to the biggest crossover tournament.
Little Mac and King Hippo stare down each other since they've been rivals for so long.
"You finally came back. Hopefully you weren't slacking while you're in that tournament." King Hippo says.
Little Mac smirks. "I never slack in my Boxing training and I'll prove it in this fight."
The bell rings and the Boxing match begin!
King Hippo starts of the match by throwing strong Punches. Little Mac dodges them with ease from all the training at the Smash Mansion and strikes back with quick Punches. Kings Hippo blocks them, but his arms start weakening since Little Mac's Punches got a lot stronger since the last time they fought. While he has the chance, Little Mac lands some good Punches on King Hippo's stomach, sending him walking back to the other side of the Ring.
The crowd cheers really loudly for Little Mac.
"Good going, Little Mac! Keep it going!" Wii Fit Trainer cheered.
"Hit him hard, Mac!" Doc cheered.
"So this is what Boxing is." Lyn says.
King Hippo got back up and throws a fury of Punches. Little Mac dodges each attack easily, but got hit from a strong Punch, sending him back to the other side of the Ring.
"Come on tiny, is that all you got?" King Hippo taunted.
Little Mac gets up. "That was a really good hit you did, but if you want me to go all out so badly, I'll gladly do it."
Little Mac goes in and attacks with a fury of Punches. King Hippo blocks every attack and throws some of his own. Little Mac dodges them with ease and strikes backs back with twenty Punches. King Hippo does his best to block them, but wasn't able to block all of them and took the hits. Little Mac continues his barrage of Punches, landing each hit on King Hippo's stomach and face, and sends him straight flying with a strong Uppercut, sending King Hippo flying in the air. King Hippo lands on the floor hard and tries getting up.
Mario starts counting. "1… 2… 3… 4… 5…"
On the count of 5, King Hippo got back up and the match continues. King Hippo got really furious and throws a lot of Punches. Little Mac dodges them with ease and lands a strong Punch on King Hippo's stomach, sending him down on the floor again.
Mario counts again. "1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10… King Hippo is out!!!"
The crowd stands up from their seats and cheer loudly for Little Mac.
"You win, Mac!" Doc cheered.
"Way to go, Little Mac!" Wii Fit Trainer cheered.
"This was really entertaining to watch." Lyn says.
Little Mac looks at the crowd and wave at them. As Mario is about to give him his Champion Belt, King Hippo got back up and goes up to Little Mac.
"Not yet, tiny!" King Hippo says.
"Little Mac, watch out!" Mario cried.
Little Mac looks behind him and King Hippo lands a powerful Punch on his face, sending him out of the Ring and knocking him out.
"Little Mac!" Wii Fit Trainer worryingly called.
Doc runs out of his seat and goes to Little Mac. "Hey Mac, get up."
The Crowd starts booing right after King Hippo's terrible stunt.
"Ha, ha, ha, now the belt and the money is mine!" King Hippo cheered.
"That's not fair!" Lyn exclaims.
"You don't deserve the prize after Little Mac beat you." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Do you think I care about playing fair? The World is not always a nice place you know? I'll do whatever it takes to get my Champion belt and money. Now Referee, give them to me." King hippo demanded.
Mario tightens up his fist from what King Hippo did to Little Mac and gives him a death stare. "No!"
"What?!" King Hippo exclaims.
"You took out Little Mac when he already won the match. As Referee, you already lost this match. So get lost or else I'll have to call the Police on you." Mario says.
King Hippo laughs. "Then I'll just have to take you out too."
King Hippo charges in and throws a Punch. Mario jumps over King Hippo's attack and place the Champion Belt out of the ring.
"Since this is not a Boxing match anymore, I can do whatever I want to get my Champion Belt and money." King Hippo says.
Mario smirks. "Only if you can beat me. Lyn, hold my hat." He throws his hat to Lyn and caught it with her hands.
"Teach him a lesson, Mario!" Lyn exclaims.
"Ha, ha, ha, what can a little Referee like him do? He's tinier than Little Mac." King Hippo taunted.
"This." Mario says, landing a strong Punch on King Hippo's face, sending him to the other side of the Ring.
The Crowd cheer for Mario to beat King Hippo.
"That was a neat Punch, but remember, this isn't a Boxing match anymore!" King Hippo says, running at Mario.
Mario jumps over King Hippo and lands a strong Kick on his back, knocking him out of the Ring. "I know that."
King Hippo got really angry, grabs a chair near him, and throws it. Mario jumps over the chair, and attacks with a Flying Kick. King Hippo grabs Mario's leg and slams him hard on to the ground. King Hippo jumps up for a Body Slam. Mario rolls back to avoid the attack and lands a lot of his signature Stomps while he's flat down on the ground. King Hippo got back up and charges at Mario. Mario jumps over King Hippo, Kicks him down, grabs his legs, and Tornado Throw him up to the ceiling, and crashing down back onto the Boxing Ring, collapsing it.
The crowd cheer loudly for Mario and chant his name.
"Amazing performance, Mario!" Lyn cheered.
"He's a really good fighter." Doc says.
After being knocked out for not too long, Little Mac woke up and sees Mario in front of him. "What happened?"
"King Hippo knocked you out by surprise, but I took care of him." Mario says, offering his hand to help.
Little Mac smiles and accepts his help. "Thanks, Mario."
Suddenly, King Hippo jumps out of the collapsed Ring and attacks with a Body Slam. Doc runs up to him and as King Hippo got close, he lands a powerful Star Punch on King Hippo's face, sending him flying through the ceiling.
"Ahhh!!!!" King Hippo cried, while flying up to the sky.
"Remember Mac, keep on fighting until your opponent is completely knocked out." Doc advises.
The Crowd cheer really loudly for the three fighters. They go up onto the Ring, Mario gives Little Mac his Champion Belt, and he raise it up to the crowd with the other two raising their fist up.
…
After the Boxing match, Doc treats the Smashers to some pizza, wings, breadsticks, and salad for Wii Fit Trainer at a New York Pizza restaurant.
"Tonight's Boxing Match was one of my favorites. Mac beat King Hippo a lot easier than before, Mr. Referee gave a good fight to him, and I took him out flying with my signature Star Punch. Even though I'm old, I still got it." Doc says, shoving a slice pizza and some wings.
"If you don't be careful on what you're eating, Doc, I'll have to invite you to my exercise and Yoga sessions." Wii Fit Trainer warned, eating some salad.
"Come on, Wii Fit, it's a celebration for Mac's victory. Why not eat a few slices of Pizza?" Doc suggests.
"Sorry, but I prefer having Salad now." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"I heard you cheering for me while I was fighting, Wii fit Trainer. Thank you for that." Little Mac thanked, eating some breadsticks.
"Of course! I'm your instructor too you know?" Wii Fit Trainer says, winking.
Little Mac turns bright red and continues eating. Doc sees his student and smiles.
"You did good in fighting that monster too, Mario. If something like that happened to my friend, I wouldn't just stand down and let them do what they want." Lyn says.
"Yeah, I just felt that it's the right thing to do." Mario says, eating a slice of pizza.
"Thanks again for that." Little Mac thanked.
Mario smiles. "You're welcome. You deserve the belt and money for winning fairly."
"I can see potential in you too, Mario. You should come to the Gym with Mac and I'll teach you how to be a good Boxer too." Doc suggests.
"Thanks for the offer." Mario thanked.
After they finished eating, it's time for the Smashers to head back to the Smash Mansion.
"Thank you for the food, Doc. It was delicious." Lyn thanked.
"No problem. Come again and we can do this again." Doc says.
"Well Doc… I'll see you again when another Boxing match is coming." Little Mac says.
Doc looks at Little Mac, tears start coming out of his eyes, and he gives him a big hug. "Mac, make sure you win a lot of matches when you go back. Make me proud, son."
Little Mac smiles and small tears come out of him. "I will, Doc."
The Smashers smile as they watch the two of them hug.
"See you again, Doc. Let's go on a bike ride or a jog when we come back." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Of course! And Mac, you better treat Wii Fit more like a lady and not just an instructor if you know what I mean." Doc says, winking.
Little Mac looks at Wii Fit Trainer as she looks back at him, and blushes. "Stop that!"
"I'm just playing." Doc says, waving bye to the Smashers.
The Smashers wave bye and head back to the Smash Mansion with the Smash Portal.
"Heh heh. Young love." Doc says, as he head back home while eating a chocolate bar.
