Super Smash Bros Adventures chapter 22
In another dimension far far away, two familiar figures were watching the first Super Smash Bros Tournament.
"Well, we finally have our first winner of the tournament. Honestly, I'm actually surprised of the result."
"Oh boy! I can't wait to see the future tournaments! My excitement can't contain itself."
"There'll be more for us to watch. I too am looking forward to what comes next. By the way, what do you think of the new Smashers? They look promising."
"All these new challengers that Sakurai invited are really interesting. The one who can see into the future, the little boy with the shovel, the two surprise Mascots, all the newcomers are exciting! Even Waluigi is surprising since he was only an Assist Trophy last tournament. I hope we'll be able to destroy them soon. Can't wait to get my hand on them."
"Settle down, let's just lay low until it's our time to shine again. It's too early since this is only the first tournament. We should wait until more time has passed."
"How boring! I want to fight them now! I'm itching to see what they're truly capable of."
"Stop it! If you want a fight, then you have me. I'll let loose and give you a fight worthwhile."
"We've been fighting each other like everyday. But I can't continue to complain. Put it up."
"Ok, let's try to minimize our damage or else we'll blow up another universe."
"No promises. It'll be another universe in our book."

In Smash Town, Mario, Link, Pit, Charizard, Little Mac, and Robin are out celebrating for Mario's tournament win at a Milkshake Parlor. The customers and workers inside notice them and were excited to see the winner of the first tournament.
"Cheers for Mario's victory on the first Super Smash Bros tournament!" Pit makes a toast.
"Cheers!" The group of Smashers clank their milkshakes and drink at the same time.
"Ah! Delicious!" Little Mac says.
"This drink is really satisfying. Never have something like this in my world." Robin says.
"There's more where that came from. Waiter, another batch please!" Charizard says.
"Good thinking, Pit. Treating Mario here for milkshakes is a great idea." Link says.
"Ahh!" Pit cried, dropping his glass.
"Hey, what happened?" Charizard worryingly asks.
"Are you hurt?" Little Mac asks.
"No! Brain freeze!!!" Pit cried, scratching his head.
Robin laughs. "That's it? You had us worried there. We thought something worst happened."
Mario smiles at his friends. "Thanks for treating me out, you guys."
"Not a problem. You deserve this." Link says.
"This is a celebration for winning the first tournament." Pit says.
"Come on, and continue drinking. We'll order as many as you want." Charizard says.
"You know, I won't hold back this offer. I'll drink every flavor they have here." Mario says.
A Waiter brings in another batch of milkshakes and the Smashers continue to drink and have a good time. Little Mac brought out an interesting topic that he heard about in the Smash Mansion.
"So I've been wondering, who is Master Hand?" Little Mac asks.
Mario, Link, Pit, and Charizard look at Little Mac with a serious look.
"Uhh… why are you guys looking at me like that? Do I have some milkshake on my face?" Little Mac asks.
"No, it's just, where did you hear that from?" Mario asks.
"I heard it from Sakurai. He was saying something like since whenever there's a new Super Smash Bros tournament, Master Hand will appear out of no where and attack us." Little Mac answers.
"Mario and I knew about Master Hand since the very first tournament. There were only twelve Smashers when we fought against Master Hand, and he was incredibly powerful. It felt like he was just playing around with us when we barely beaten him that time." Link says.
"Then the next tournaments, new Smashers appeared and another new Hand called, Crazy Hand appeared and he's as powerful. It was a struggle, but we somehow beaten them as Master Hand was a lot stronger than the first actual tournaments." Mario says.
"And when the time me and Charizard were invited, it was a huge mess. All of our worlds have been scrambled, many familiar enemies arrived, and there was this huge blue human like person named Tabuu that appeared and took out almost all of us in one attack. He was even more powerful than Master And Crazy Hand. Luckily Luigi, King Dedede, and Ness survived and saved us all. And Sonic made an awesome appearance destroying Tabuu's Wings. Can't get enough of that." Pit explains.
"Wait… did you all… die?" Robin asks confusingly.
"Not really die… but turned into to trophies. As long as someone makes contact we'll be free." Charizard explains.
"If what Sakurai is saying is real, then we'll have to prepare ourselves. We won't know what they'll plan next. They have godlike powers and can do anything to us any moment. Hopefully nothing bad will happen like last time. I don't want to lose anyone… And everybody in the Smash Mansion." Mario says, squeezing his spoon tightly.
"Woah! Mario! No need to be so dark here. We're here to enjoy ourselves drinking milkshakes here." Pit says, trying to lighten the mood.
"He's right. Let's forget that I asked and have a drinking contest." Little Mac says.
"I guess I did go a bit overboard. Sorry… Let's have that contest." Mario says.
"Now we're talking!" Link says.
"Waiter, we'll have fifty milkshakes with all the flavors you have please." Charizard ordered.
"Aww Gods… This won't end well for me. If I don't make it, tell Lucina I love her." Robin says, preparing himself.

Mario and the rest arrived back at the Smash Mansion after their milkshake drinking contest, but all ended up having upset stomachs from pushing over their limits. Their stomachs look a lot bigger and milkshake parts are around their clothes and faces.
"Ugh…"
"What happened to you guys?" Samus asks.
"Too much… milkshakes…" Little Mac groans.
"Milkshakes? That's why you all have something on your faces and clothes?" Marth asks.
"Yeah… We wanted to treat Mario for winning the first tournament. Oww…" Charizard groans, rubbing his stomach.
"Still, you guys look like a mess. Tomorrow, we're going to do my special fat burning exercise that'll last five hours." Wii Fit Trainer says.
"Five hours?! I can't even last an hour… Gods I mustn't have over done myself." Robin groans.
"Here, drink some water. Can't help seeing you like this… Even though it's kind of nice seeing your childish self." Lucina says, giving a glass of water.
"Thank you." Robin thanked, drinking his glass of water.
"I have to admit, even after all the cramps and brain freezes, it was well worth it. I got to try twenty different milkshakes and they were all so delicious! Ah! Another brain freeze!" Pit cried in pain.
"Pit! Should I go and get some medicine for you?" Zelda asks.
"It's ok. I'll take this pain as my battle scar. Ah! Now my stomach hits again!" Pit cried again.
Palutena giggles. "Sorry, this is just too funny."
"It's hilarious actually. I can watch this all day." Dark Pit says.
"That's not nice, Pittoo…" Pit sadly says.
"So, who won the contest?" Falco asks.
"Mario did by one shake… Charizard was second and I was third. It was a really close battle." Link groans.
"And I clutched it up in the end! Now you all can call me the milkshake master! Yaho- Ooohhh…" Mario groans in pain.
Lyn sighs in disbelief. "You really remind me of my friend Hector in a way. You two won't give up on winning no matter what it is."
"That's just what a man gotta do. Isn't that right guys?" Mario asks.
"Yea- oww…" they all groan in pain at the same time.
"At least you all had fun in the end." Peach happily says.
"Come on, we got to go meet up with everyone else in the auditorium." Olimar says.
"Huh? Is something happening?" Pit asks.
"Sakurai has something to announce surprisingly." Fox says.
"Hmm… I wonder what it is this time." Link wonders.
The Smashers all gathered in the auditorium and Sakurai is about to announce his announcement.
"Hello Smashers. Thank you all for coming here again. Yes, everyone is thinking why are they all here again so soon? After the big success of the first Tournament, I would like to happily announce the new additions to the Smash Mansion. My employees and I were working hard in expanding the Smash Mansion for more activities and ways for you all to help around people from different worlds. So we would like to proudly announce everything new in store." Sakurai shows a big screen of the first activity they added, Home Run Contest. "To all the Smashers who already know, we're bringing back a returning activity that a lot of you enjoyed. For new Smashers, Home Run Contest is where you damage a SandBag as much as you can in ten seconds and send it flying with the Home Run Bat. The more damage it takes, the farther it'll go."
"All right! I've been waiting for this." Ness cheered.
"Next activity I would like to announce is, Multi Man Melee." Sakurai shows the second activity on the big screen. "Another activity that was introduced before like Home Run Contest. As stated on the title, you'll be fighting hordes of enemies called, Fighting Wire Frames. You'll be able to choose a set amount of enemies you would like to fight, ten, twenty, fifty, even a hundred! Or, if you want to fight as many as you want, there's is a mode called, Endless Smash. So fight as much as your heart desires."
"Interesting. Seems like something that I'm interested in." Greninja says.
"Lastly, our last new activity. We all put a lot of time and thinking on a brand new activity you all would enjoy. It's something I would like to do also, but that would do some heavy damage on me. I would like to announce our last activity, Smash Run." Sakurai shows footage of the last activity.
"Smash Run is an activity where four Smashers will be transported into one huge environment full of enemies from different worlds that you'll have to defeat. Each enemy will give you attribute points such as speed, jump, attack, special, arms, and defense. You'll be needing them because after three minutes, an surprise event will happen and will depend on one of the traits. There'll also be treasure chests and mini bosses that'll heavily improve your stats so keep an eye out."
"Wow! This reminds me like that racing event in my world where we do the same thing, but with vehicles." Kirby happily says
"That concludes all the events I would like to announce today. Actually, I have one more thing to announce. We have updated the Mission Board to do even more missions from places that's not just exclusive to y'all's worlds. People from all around that you never knew will be requesting missions so you'll be seeing more new people and places. Plus, there'll be even harder missions on the way with an even bigger reward. That concludes today's announcements. Actually, one more thing to announce. We're almost done preparing something special that'll allow us to visit our worlds so stay tune as it'll be finished really soon. Thank you all for coming and hope you all enjoy what we provide."

The Smashers head to the Smash Room to try out the new Smash Events. Everyone of them were excited to enjoy the returning and brand new events.
"I can't wait to try out that Smash Run event!" Pit excitingly says.
"Same here. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. Are you going to join us, Mario?" Link asks.
"Actually, I want to go on a new mission. Want to find more people to help out." Mario replies.
"Oh, Mario. Always caring about others than yourself. That's what I really like about you." Pit says.
"We'll see you later then. And be careful." Link says.
"Don't worry, I will." Mario says.
Mario arrived at the Mission Board and looks over all the different kinds of missions. "So many choices. Which one I should choose?"
"Oh Mario? You're here too?" Lyn says, walking up to him.
"Thats what I was about to ask you. Everyone else seems like they want to try out the new Smash Events than actually going on a mission today." Mario says.
"I thought it'll be nice to go on another mission. Been a while since I gone on one." Lyn says.
"You said it. How about you and I go on a mission together? We can try out a brand new mission that's not from anyones world from here." Mario suggests.
"Thats a great idea. Let's go on a mission together! Have you decide on anything yet?" Lyn asks.
"Not yet. There are a lot to do. Helping find someone/something, restore peace between rivals, explore an unknown area, the list keeps going on and on." Mario replies.
"Let me take a look." Lyn looks closely at each mission and sees one mission that appealed to her. "What about this mission?" She picks a mission post with a Smash Ball symbol on it. "Help regain my village back from a group of thieves."
"That sounds like an exciting mission." Mario says.
"It really does. Reminds me of times I did those kind of things with Hector and Eliwood. Wonder what the Smash Ball symbol is for." Lyn wonders.
"That means you'll even receive a bigger reward." Sakurai says, approaching the two Smashers. "I'm surprised you two are going on a mission than enjoying the Smash Events."
"So you're saying we'll receive even more Smash Coins if we complete these kinds of missions?" Mario asks.
"That's right. And you may even receive something special from wherever you're going too. Take this as your advantage since there's only one mission like this per day and it appears randomly. Also these kinds of mission can be harder than the other ones posted." Sakurai says.
"Thanks for the information, Sakurai." Lyn thanked.
"You enjoy and be careful." Sakurai says, as he go to the Smash Room to watch the other Smashers.
"Ok, let's see where this will take us." Mario says.
A Smash Portal appeared as they accepted the mission and they went inside of it.

Mario and Lyn were sent into a village that's really empty. No people are around, it's quiet as a mouse, and everywhere looks like it has been hit by a hurricane.
"Look at this place. This is terrible." Mario says, looking around the village.
"I can't stand these kinds of things. It's like what happened when I was young. Thieves running into People's lives and killing them like it's nothing." Lyn grips her fist tightly, while feeling the anger from long ago slowly coming back into her.
The two Smashers look around the village for someone to help, but as expected, nobody is here.
"Strange… I was expecting maybe at least a couple of people, but no one in sight." Mario says.
"Maybe they all escaped and living somewhere else." Lyn says.
"Probably. If they're not here, then we should go search somewhere else." Mario says.
As they're about to head out, the two Smashers hear something coming towards their direction. They quickly hid to the side and spot someone in a hood with two Bandits chasing after them.
"Stop thief!"
"That food is only for us!"
Mario notices one of the Bandits looks familiar to him. "That's a Hammer Bro. What a surprise."
Lyn notices the second Bandit looks familiar to her. "A Tailver Bandit… I thought they were gone for good."
The two Bandits cornered the hooded person and slowly get closer with their weapon in hand.
"Looks like you have no where to run." Tailver Bandit says.
"And nobody here to help you. Just give up now so we won't have to hurt you." Hammer Bro says.
"No!" The Hooded Person cried. "You people just came out of nowhere and taken over my village. I won't run anymore. This time, I'll be fighting for my home!"
"Ooo… big words…" Tailver Bandit says.
"If that's what you want, we'll gladly accept your request." Hammer Bro says.
As the two Bandits get closer, Mario and Lyn appeared in front of the hooded person.
"You did great standing up to them like that." Lyn says.
"Yeah, way to go." Mario says.
"Huh?! Who are these two?" Hammer Bro wonders.
Mario seems confused. "You don't know who I am?"
"No. Never seen you before in my life." Hammer Bro says.
"Then you must be a new recruit of Bowser's." Mario says.
"Bowser? Who the heck is that? Sounds like someone who's obsessed with kidnapping princesses." Hammer Bro says.
"Uhhh… Yeah…" Mario says, surprised of the Hammer Bro.
"Speaking about princesses, look at the girl in the ponytail. She's someone I would stare at for long periods of time." Tailver Bandit says.
Lyn gets really ticked after what the Tailver Bandit says. "Excuse me? Don't you remember what you did to my village, friends, and family?"
"Don't know what you're talking about, sweet cheeks. How about you come over to our side and I'll treat you for some delicious food. My treat." Tailver Bandit tries flirting with her.
"Errgh! That does it!" Lyn takes out her Mani Katti out of her sheath. "No more playing around! We're going to fight now and end these charades!"
"Whoa… she's one tough cookie. If you get hurt, it won't be our fault." Tailver Bandit says, taking out his Sword.
"This talk is getting nowhere. Let's just wrap things up and take our food back." Hammer Bro says, taking out his Hammer.
"You're not laying one finger on anyone." Mario says, getting into his fighting stance.
