They both looked at Brayden and smiled. It was just a relaxing evening. None of them having any stress. Brayden feeling pretty good from his dialysis, it made him tired yes but it wasnt crazy tired like usual. Brayden looked at Noah as they got their snacks and drinks telling him how he liked calmness now that things were working out.
"Hey Noah, isn't this nice? We are all in the house and all relaxed like we were before I got shot. I really like this."
Amanda smiled, hearing what her son was saying. Olivia grinned as well. She was happy and content here and was really kicking herself for backpedaling like she had. She almost lost all of this.
Amanda spoke softly to Liv, "I want to stay like this. This has been nice and soothing. We are a little family. Plus, not gonna lie, I'm going to need you with me when Bray confronts Derek. I know I'll lose my shit, but with you there it would help keep me rational."
Olivia snuggled her more. "Sweetheart of course I'll be there. As long as you want me there. I'm there. I will gladly do whatever it is you need me to do."
They relaxed for the rest of the night, even enjoying a couple glasses of wine. Nice way to destress. After a bit Amanda looked at Liv, "Um it's getting late, do you want to stay out here and get some sleep or would you like to go to my bedroom and stretch out on the bed?"
Olivia took Amanda's hand and lead her to the bedroom. She knew Amanda needed to get some good sleep, and out in the living room she wouldn't, yes the couches were comfortable but a bed is more comfy for sure. When they got to the room, Olivia quickly moved to undo the bed and pull the blankets and sheets down. She told Amanda to get into her pajamas so she could get comfortable. Amanda did that and brought out some pajamas for Liv when she came back out. Slowly crawling into bed she looked at Liv, "I hope you know you can stay in here. I'll behave I promise. Too tired physically and mentally to do anything." Olivia smiled, "I planned on staying in here as long as you were okay with it. We can pop on a movie and just watch til we crash."
Olivia went and changed quickly, she went to check on the boys as well. They were just chilling and watching a movie. She then went back to Amanda's room. She just looked at Amanda resting on the bed. Her heart swelled in so many ways. She knew that this was where she belonged and she had to fuck up a few times before getting it right. Thankfully though while Amanda was guarded she was forgiving and willing to work with her. She was a work in progress and was grateful that Amanda understood that. She moved and laid on the bed next to Amanda, letting Amanda move to cuddle with her. Amanda took advantage of Olivia laying there, she scooted closer and laid where Liv could wrap her arms around her.
