Couple Weeks Later... School's out, Time For Vacation...
The end of school finally came. It was a trying rest of the year especially after what happened to Brayden, but Amanda was proud. Her boy really did his best and ended the school year on the honor roll. Now was one final check up to make sure Brayden was okay to travel.
At the doctors Amanda was nervous on how Bray was going to make out. He had been doing very well on the dialysis. The doctor said he would be fine to travel and just continue to do what he had. Taking it easy when he needed to and not overexerting himself.
"Well now that we got that okay, we are all set to get away for a few weeks. I'm so looking forward to this for all of us. Bray and Noah you boys have your own room obviously. Olivia and myself have a room. Both rooms have exntrances to the beach. There's also a pool. Yes we will trust you to do your thing most of the time, we will want dinners with you and to check in. But Bray you need this just as much as I do and Liv and Noah for being here with us."
Noah looked at the happiness in his mom. He saw what Bray saw in his mom, now that his mom and his best friend's mom were a couple.
Noah looked at Bray and then at their moms. "I'm sure Bray will agree with me. I'm so glad that you two have figured things out. Amanda I thank you for being so good to and for my mom. Giving her chances. I know it's been a lot, but I'm grateful cause I haven't seen my mom this happy in a long time."
Amanda smiled, looking at Olivia. "I'm glad she didn't give up on me. I'm glad you and your mom kept pushing to come and visit, to come and talk. It means alot. You boys are who have brought us together and made our bond stronger. So I thank you for that."
Olivia squeezed Amanda's hand lightly. Then she spoke gently. "So Brayden we heard how Noah feels about me and your mom. How do you feel? You are in this family and your feelings matter too." Amanda smiled at how Olivia was taking Bray's feelings into consideration.
Brayden took a deep breath, "I am happy. Olivia you don't judge me, you never have. You take on both me and my mom. I fought with my mom yes, I was hurt but she never lied about my father. She never tried to tell me a story, she told me the truth. I appreciate that mom more than you know. Olivia you make my mom happy, she feels safe with you, she's opened up to you hell she never opened up to uncle Fin. Aunt Kimberly is a mess, who all she does is drag mom down into her drama. Let's not forget how Memaw takes her side and really mom has noone. But you Liv. Liv you've been there and you've heard some of the worst things that have happened to mom. Yeah you got distant for a bit but you never completely abandoned her. Which means you are really the only one who truly cares about her. I hope things continue to work out for you and mom cause you really are the best thing that's happened to her and this little family."
Olivia smiled and so did Amanda. It meant alot that her son was behind them as well. They talked about the vacation they were about to take. All of them excited to get away.
Island Getaway... Bahamas...
Amanda had gotten them adjoining rooms. That way the boys could have their own room, but so that they could keep an eye on them. It was a long flight and both Liv and Amanda were tired as hell. The boys however were full of hell and ready to explore. Since it was a resort Amanda saw no problem with them going off and neither did Liv. Everything was all paid for and they wanted the kids to have fun. The kids went to change into their swimsuits and headed off. Smiling telling their moms that they would be back when it was time for dinner.
Olivia looked at Amanda "It's been a long day of travelling. What would my sweetheart like to do? Change and hit the beach, relax here and order room service, explore the island? You tell me. I'm game for anything as long as I can hold your hand and steal kisses here and there."
Amanda blushed. "Umm.. As nice as it would be to just stay in here with you and order room service, how about we go explore and see how pretty this island is. I mean it's even prettier cause I have you by my side." She reached over and kissed Olivia. "I mean I have the prettiest girlfriend for sure on this island and I'd like to show her off a bit." This time she made Olivia blush deeply. Olivia went and changed quickly. Putting on a bathing suit but a lil cute sarong over it, adding some flip flops and letting her hair free. Amanda threw on her two piece with a skirt and sandals. Leaving her hair out as well. Amanda held out her hand to Liv to take so they could walk together. They walked keeping their phones on to check on the boys. They were at the waterslides having a blast. Amanda saw a cute spot over on the water where not too many people were. Already forming ideas in her head for date night. "I can't believe we are here for a glorious week, away from everything. No work, no drama. Just all of us enjoying some time away."
Olivia smiled. "I'm so glad you wanted to take this chance and invite me to come away. Amanda it means alot. Now I get to share this with you. I've never been here, but now I get to experience this with my girlfriend."
Amanda grinned so happy in this moment. "I'm so glad we are an official couple now. Sharing this with you is amazing. The fact that our boys are happy for us, means a whole lot. Come on beauty let's go explore."
Olivia and Amanda went and explored a bit. The island was beautiful. The boys having a blast at the waterslides. Other couples seeing them and smiling at them, it warmed Amanda's heart. Squeezing Olivia's hand gently as they walked. There was a pretty spot down the island and Olivia pulled her phone out to get a pic of them. She was just so happy, with Amanda was where she belonged. No matter where they were, if she was with Amanda she was happier and really felt like she belonged.
Amanda turned to face Olivia. Looking in her eyes. "Look I know when Bray was in the hospital we said words. You said words that got to me and stuck with me. I'm not going to front Liv, I do have those feelings. They are getting stronger all the time. I don't say the words cause I don't want to scare you off or move too fast. I mean I am over the moon that you said yes to being my girlfriend."
Olivia took Amanda's hands into her own. Gently thumbing them with her own hands. "I do have those feelings. I feel alot more for you than 'love' Amanda. Love is a four letter word that is thrown around too damn much and easy. I would rather take this vacation and show you and let our relationship progress and move forward. If you are okay with that. I want this to be a family vacation and a romantic vacation as we are officially partners and I want to do this right and let us grow. I do want to continue our special cuddles and even sleep like that as long as you're comfortable with that."
Amanda nuzzled Liv's neck before cupping her chin to kiss her. "I want that more than anything. It took a long time to find my person, which I truly think I found her. Taking this time to show each other what we mean to one another. I'm really glad and happy that we are giving each other a chance, giving this relationship a real chance."
After their walk around, they went over where the boys were and just watched. Amanda was beyond happy to see Brayden kicking back and having fun. This was what he needed after everything he had been through. Olivia smiled seeing Noah come out of his shell and just have fun. Amanda dared Liv to try the waterslides. Olivia felt playful and wanted to have so she told Amanda sure. So they too played on the slides, just not the super steep ones like the boys were going on. It was just fun for all of them. The boys while having fun were talking amongst each other.
"Bray, our moms are dating. How would you feel if it went so far as we became brothers? I mean you already feel like a brother to me but.." He then looked over at Brayden "What if they wanna move in together? How would you feel?"
Brayden took a minute to think. He did like the ideas that Noah was tossing out. Noah felt like a brother to him as well, especially now since he almost lost his life. That brought him closer to Noah and more appreciative. "You of course are a brother to me Noah. You have been by my side through the ups and downs. That means alot. If our moms want to cement their relationship and move in, I'm down. Just make sure we have our own rooms so we have space. Last thing I ever want to do is fight with you and what not."
Noah looked at Bray, "I totally get that. I'm just glad that my mom is happy too. It's taken a long time and to be honest I didn't think she was going to bounce back from Ed or Cassidy. As much as I want to spend time with them here, I want them to be free to spend time with each other. Your mom needs it and so does my mom. Plus we are thirteen and pretty damn responsible."
Bray agreed and they continued to have their fun at the slides. Stopping for a little bit to get food and drinks.
Olivia and Amanda themselves were having a good time. Just enjoying the weather and scenery. Soon it became later in the evening. The boys had met them up to eat dinner. Telling them that they were going to their room to play games for the rest of the night and hang out. Brayden being the ever so blunt teenager that he was looked at Liv and his mom. "That leaves you two to have a nice evening together. The moon is shining beautifully over the water. You guys deserve this. Go make the most of it. Don't worry the walls are thick so we can't hear anything." He smirked as his mother blushed deeply.
Amanda looked at Liv, "So, what would my pretty lady like to do tonight? We could make a night of it and just sit on the beach under the moon and stars. We could check out the night life here too."
Olivia reached for Amanda's hand. "How about we go and enjoy the night life? We can get some drinks and even be under the moonlight, couple kisses here and there." Amanda squeezed her hand. "I'd like that. I'd like that a lot." The boys left for their room. They wanted to each take a shower and then just relax for the night. Amanda took Liv's hand and lead her out after grabbing their purses. "I'm ready for our time. This place is even more beautiful cause you're here sharing it with me." Olivia smiled as they headed out. Her feelings growing even more, now being out and open not caring who saw them or what they thought Olivia was enjoying this relationship freedom. "I hope we can be this free when we get back home." Amanda stopped her and kissed her in the moonlight. "I want that. I want to be able to go out with you, enjoy your company and most importantly to do date nights." Olivia held her hands and looked her in the eyes. "Amanda I'm serious about us. I'm not scared anymore. I want to take you out on dates. I want to enjoy your company wherever we decide to go."
They went for a walk along the beach. It was just so nice and serene. Just walking hand in hand, as well as holding each other and just loving the closeness. Amanda grabbed them both a drink. "I really like this Liv. You're relaxed and free. Not always fearing that the phones going to go off. I'm glad we got to do this and I get to see this Liv." Olivia smiled taking a sip of her drink. "I am at that point where I am completely comfortable and happy. Amanda I have never felt this safe and or secure with someone. I mean what we started doing, I've never done and you made that so easy for me. I do hope we continue that. I like the bonding with you. I am looking forward to the next level of intimacy between us whenever that happens. I am content with the naked cuddles and make outs though. I will say the connection between us when we take it to the next level is going to be off the charts."
Amanda smiled. "I've never done what we do with anyone. Noone has ever been that patient or wanted that type of connection. I feel completely safe with you. The bonding is amazing and so pure. I'm looking forward to that moment with you." Olivia leaned in and kissed Amanda again. Just loving this freedom they had. It got to be late so they made their way back to their suite. Checking on the boys before they went into their room. They were just up playing video games on the big screen tv that was in their room. Amanda kissed Liv's neck "I love how relaxed they are. They both needed this. As did we. Shall we go into our suite and see where the night wants to take us?"
They walked into their suite. Hand in hand, each of them kinda knowing where tonight was may lead. No nervousness or anxiety between them. Just calm. Amanda liked that. With others she had been with she was always anxious and afraid. She wasn't this time. She hoped Olivia was feeling the same way.
After standing together for what felt like forever, in reality was only a minute or two at most. Amanda locked the door, Olivia laid on the bed, patting it so Amanda would join her. Amanda gave that quirky little smile that she had a habit of giving, then she laid down next to Olivia. Softly kissing her lips. Olivia turned on her side, slipping one arm under Amanda and one arm over Amanda's waist. Olivia kissed Amanda more passionately. When they broke the kiss for air, Olivia gave Amanda some time to collect herself and see if she wanted to continue what they were doing. Amanda put her fingers just under Olivia's top, her fingertips grazing Liv's skin. Then Amanda kissed her back with a heated passion. Amanda needed to feel more of Livs touch so she reached and pulled her shirt off. Letting Liv see. Olivia blushed looking at Amanda. Touching her chin softly "Mandy you're beautiful." Amanda looked into her eyes, and kissed her lips. Putting Liv's hands on her torso giving Liv free range to touch. Olivia let her hands roam very softly along Amanda's skin exploring. Amanda let her do that for a little bit, then she held Liv's hands. "MM my turn to see you and do some exploring." Olivia turned red, and all the sudden very shy. She began to tremble lightly. Amanda rubbed her arms and looked at Liv. Making eye contact, even though Liv kept trying to break the contact. Amanda spoke softly "Liv, sweetie what's wrong? You know if you're uncomfortable we can stop. There's no pressure here. We only do what we are comfortable with."
Olivia wanted to bare all with Amanda and let her see her but she was scared. The trauma back from Lewis was still there and fresh. Yes it had been a long time, but the marks were still there, still visible and they made Olivia self conscious. Amanda picked up on Liv's nervousness once more. She softly touched Liv's chin and kept eye contact once more. "Hey.. Liv, you are safe with me. I promise. And if this is too soon Liv, it's okay. There's no rush." Olivia took Amanda's hand kissing it sweetly. "I want to Amanda. I really do. I'm just... I just..." Olivia took a deep breath. Her voice went practically inaudible "The scars are still there. Noone wants to see that." Amanda reached up and caressed Liv's face, and then she gently kissed Liv's lips. She then just held Olivia, she could fel those nerves kicking in on Olivia and it was new to her. She wanted Liv to feel safe and secure. Amanda then grabbed her shirt and put it back on to maybe ease the comfort level. She had no idea what was making Liv react like this, but she didn't want to push her either. "Sweetheart, talk to me." Olivia looked over at Amanda. "I ruined the moment." Amanda rubbed her back "You did no such thing Liv. This is all part of this adventure of us. To learn about each other and to reassure each other."
Amanda just wrapped her arms around Liv. She needed and wanted Olivia to know that she was there for all of it, not just to get in her pants and be done. Olivia took a deep shaky breath.
"Amanda, do you remember when we had that talk and you told me about the white tattoo that you have? You told me it was a reminder of who you were and are with the labels that people used to call you?"
Amanda looked at her "Yes, Liv. I remember that talk very well."
Olivia rolled her eyes back to keep the tears at bay.
"Well, I have a reminder of my experience as well. Except mine are clearly visible and not made by me."
So will they or wont they tonight? Amanda just wants Liv feeling safe and loved. Will Amanda be able to show Olivia how beautiful she is to her. Hmm will the infamous 'Love' bomb be said again
