Hope y'all enjoy. REVIEW! Help me to get better.

POV: Briljof

Waking up the next morning with a mild headache from the alcohol last night and an empty bed. The second was expected as I knew last night was a one-night thing but the alcohol induced headache wasn't comfortable. Even the small light of the lit lamp hurt my eyes and I pulled the covers back over my head.

Which became completely futile as someone began slamming their fist against my door. Growling at that my headache got worse as did my mood. Standing up I walked to the door. Opening the door with nothing on at all I looked forward and saw only a shirt with buttons open and a bare chest. Craning my head back I got to see a rather angry man looking down at me, he had at least an entire head if not more on me in height. From how his arms, chest and face looked the man was definitely a veteran of the war.

Taking my silence as an invitation he bent his head downwards before stepping inside the room. He wasn't armed so I wasn't that worried but from the sheer size difference and the fact I was hungover my chances in a fight weren't the best. Especially without my weapons which were currently discarded in the opposite corner of the room. The alcohol still in my system would not have helped me either.

Doing my best to mentally prepare for a fight, the man reached behind himself but before I could act he pulled out a simple note. Extending said note to me I gingerly took it from his grip. The moment the note was out of his hands the man turned around and left through the door leaving me alone. Shaking my head at the whole interaction I sat down on the bed and began to read the note.

We know what travels with you. Either choose the right side Pinky or die along with it. ~E

Fantastic. Another cryptic message from a group of people I have no idea about. Guy looked like a Nord when I saw him so he probably wasn't talking about Brealla and her being Dragonborn. Which only left Serana as a possible culprit for who the guy was talking about. Something that just opened a whole other can of worms… We were going to be hunted by Vampire hunters now weren't we? When it rains it pours I guess.

Shaking my head and putting the note on the bed I got dressed in my full gear before stepping out of the room. Pocketing the note along the way I went over to Brealla and Serana's room. Knocking on the door and opening it after a second to a rather beautiful sight. Serana was naked from the waist up and standing a foot from her bed on the way to the door. Her pearly white skin almost blinding and would've been if not for her bright red nipples taking my attention. She was almost like a doll with how perfect she was.

Though my staring came with consequences as Serana adopted a childish smirk before gesturing with her head to my left where a sleepy and hungover Brealla was staring daggers at me from her bed. Hair sticking in every direction as she peered at me through narrowed eyes as the covers from her bed hugged around her waist as she sat up. Her chest also completely exposed. A good sun kissed tan to her body and bigger breasts than Serana's with slightly less bright red nipples. Small scars adorned her chest and body and I'd be lying if that wasn't just as hot as Serana's doll like body.

Before I could really appreciate what the gods were giving me my sixth sense went off like an alarm. Brealla had her hand raised at me and knowing what was coming I slammed the door shut. Just in time too as I heard a bolt of lightning slam agains the door. Followed by the muffled laughter of Serana and a seemingly draconic growl that could only be Brealla. I just smiled to myself while making my way over to a table and ordered a small meal from the barmaid, a different one from last night.

A few minutes later both Brealla and Serana walked out of their room fully dressed. Neither seeming to hold a grudge about what happened though as both were sporting smirks. Something that immediately set off alarm bells in my head, maybe if I bring up the note quick enough they won't enact any plan they're thinking about.

"I got a visitor this morning," I spoke before bringing out the note and sliding it over to them.

Brealla adopted a curious look before looking at and reading the note. When she was finished she huffed at the note before handing Serana the note. Brealla did not seem happy in the least and probably had the same thoughts as me on this. Serana on the other hand didn't really seem to care before burning the note in her hands.

"Not that surprising someone connected the dots there. If anyone has experience with my kind, I stick out like a sore thumb among so many people. Though I am curious how they know about you?" she gestured to me.

"Anyone with an information network probably knows who I am now. Haven't exactly been flying low since I've been in Skyrim," that got a nod of ascent from Brealla. She knew that was true. Neither of us has been quiet as we should've been or wanted to be since we got here. Just one thing after another piling themselves on top of us.

"I am curious how you got the name Pinky though? Besides the obvious fact your missing one is there anything else to it?" Serana asked as our food arrived and we began to eat in the empty Inn.

"Just some Thalmor being a milk drinker and giving me a demeaning name. There were so many other names I should've been given. Onri's Envoy, Nord of the Sand, Nocturnal's chosen, something other than fucking Pinky," I sneered with anger. Earning a raised eyebrow from Brealla and laughter from Serana.

"I think the gods had to give you that name. Cut down on that ego a bit to keep you in check," Brealla stated with a blank look. I chose not to continue that line of conversation.

"We heading back to High Hrothgar today? Get you the final word and see what else the Greybeards have for us," I stated looking at Brealla ignoring the still snickering Serana.

"That seems like a good plan. If we leave now we should make it there before dusk," I nodded in response and got up from the table after finishing my food.

Brealla and Serana right behind me as I left the Inn. The moment we were outside the Inn a lightning bolt impacted my back. Jumping up in shock from the hit silently thankful the bolt was weak I spun around. Brealla sporting a shit eating grin while Serana just chuckled and walked passed us. Staring at Brealla accusingly she kept up her smile as she shrugged her shoulders and closed the distance between us before she was face to face with me. With me looking down just a hair as I was taller than her.

"You don't wait for us to answer and the next time will be more painful," she kept her grin as she passed me but stopped before she was fully passed me and looked be dead in the eyes. "If you wanted a show, you could have just asked," then she winked and walked off. Putting a little extra sway in her hips as she smirked at me over her shoulder. She knew exactly what she was doing. Vixen.

That being said, I wasn't above taking what I was given and watched her walk away. The sight was extremely pleasing and would've been more so if Serana hadn't been looking at me with an amused smile from one of our horses. Shaking my head I walked over and hoped up onto the second horse that Brealla had already claimed. Sitting behind her and wrapping my arms loosely around her waist.

The moment I did though Brealla began sniffing for a second before her head snapped back to look at me. Eyes narrowed in anger before she turned her head back around with a huff. I was at a complete loss as to why that happened.

After that little episode ended we trotted out of the town and made our way back towards Break Wind Cave. The elevator the Greybeards have would give us the quickest route to the top without having to walk up the whole mountain. A prospect that Serana believed to be the case and for now we weren't going to tell her otherwise.

The ride there was otherwise quiet with short instances of soft singing from Serana. As we rode though Brealla seemed… off. More assertive than she had been before this whole process, more possessive in some ways and slightly quicker to anger. Along with taking some traits from how dragons were supposed to be, I wondered if taking Dragon souls was inherently affecting her. She had said that the Greybeards warned her of that being possible.

However, she was only like that for a decent amount of time after taking a soul of a dragon. The first time she was barely affected at all and the second time she seemed to be affected for a couple hours. Up until she had miss-cast her spell before finding Serana and as we rode over half a day passed and she was still like that. One of her free hands gripping mine as they were wrapped around her stomach being an indicator. The fact that the moment I tried to pull away just to stretch out she growled and put my hands back to where they were being an obvious sign. I was both curious and concerned about what the souls were doing to her mind.

Eventually we made our way to the cave and entered without any fanfare. The moment we were in Brealla began casting her detection spell on repeat just in case anything was here. What was concerning though was the fact that the bodies of the bandits we had seen here before were no longer here. Blood trails going to the holes in the wall as if they had been dragged down.

Getting down off the horse I inspected the holes but found nothing but the blood trails in them. There was no saliva or any bodily fluids that could have been attributed to an animal. There was nothing there. Not even tracks but the dragged bodies of the bandits took care of that which was expected. I didn't like not knowing about what was doing this and if they were in one cave then they could've been in caves all across Skyrim, possibly interconnected. Maybe Delphine would be able to give some information here.

There was nothing else in the cave however and Brealla picked up nothing with her spell the whole way through until we got to the elevator. Pulling open the doors I got to see a surprised look from Serana as she looked at the contraption. Explaining to her what it was she took the whole explanation in stride as we all got on, horses and all.

The ride up was far slower than going down had been but still made decent time. Far faster than the travel would've been if we had walked up all the steps. Upon reaching the top we all stepped out with our horses pulled along behind us. One of the Greybeards already waiting for us.

He gave us a silent look before extending his hand out to Brealla. She then grabbed the horn from her pack and handed him the horn. Looking the horn over for a second the man nodded his head before gesturing for us to follow him. We did so without complaint as he brought us into High Hrothgar proper. The warm of the temple a stark contrast to the outside cold. By no means was the warmth unwelcome though.

After entering the Greybeard took Brealla to a singular space somewhere else in the temple. While they went Serana occupied herself by perusing the shelves with dozens of books on them. Before I could join her in that endeavor another Greybeard walked up to me and silently and handed me a book before walking away. Looking down at said book the title read: Dragon Behaviors. Well if that wasn't a big enough hint then nothing else would be.

Sighing to myself I sat down on the edge of the nearest bench and opened the book. I got only about halfway through the book before reality began to set in. From everything the book described Brealla was slowly becoming more dragon-like. What she was showing was only the beginnings and shown in young dragons and would get more pronounced in the future. Which would probably be facilitated by the absorbtion of Dragon Souls and as her power grew so would her similarities to Dragons. To the point of maybe even loosing herself to her Dragon side. That was a scary thought.

If this 'Alduin' was the one behind everything for the dragons and Brealla ends up killing them she would get everything. She'd have all their power, all their skill, all their knowledge at her beck and call. Of all the ones she's killed and probably the strongest of them all she'd have everything. That's not to mention that Dragon's, as the book said, were a species based on strength. If she killed the strongest the rest would flock to her and follow her orders. We could end up with a tyrant to end all tyrants if we weren't cautious.

Looking over the book as I reached that conclusion the fact it was in good condition finally dawned on me. Which meant either this had been copied from somewhere or was knew. Option one made more sense but then there would've been conjecture or more uncertainty within the book. From either faded or damaged pages and words from the original work. Option two meant that the book was new and from how concise everything was, almost like a user manual, that made more sense. Where would they have gotten this information? None of what was in here was spoken with any speculation. All the information spoken as if unquestionable fact.

Which boiled down the facts in my mind to either the Greybeards had once talked to a dragon and one had been impressed enough with their prowess in the voice to give them this information. That or, more concerning, they were still currently in contact with a dragon. I was really rooting for the first option but at this point everything was up for grabs information wise. These past two weeks showing me that nothing was really as I thought anymore.

Fuck these past couple months. I thought everything was going to be simple after the war ended but everything got so much dirtier. There was nothing that could be trusted and all the hidden information and bullshit. I miss the war. Shit was simpler back then. Gods, never believed I'd have that thought.

Closing the book with a shake of my head determined to read more later I put in my pack. Seeing the white orb I had found in the same cave as Serana, my curiosity got the better of me. Grabbing the orb the moment I held it in my hands a voice spoke in my mind.

"Finally. My chosen champion deigns to speak with me. Meridia, the goddess of Light," I knew about her. Deadra of Light, one of the few 'good' Daedra out there.

"I found this orb in a chest in a cave with Vampires and Draugr."

"Of course they had it. What better way to hide from the light than to have the key hidden with them. I detest everything undead and my Light is meant to eradicate all that filth… Tell me, has the prophecy come to pass yet?" You have got to be fucking kidding me.

"Which one?" I was silently preparing for the worst. Besides, Serana hadn't exactly filled me in on what her prophecy entailed.

"The one where the Vampires black out the sun?" oh come on! Fucking why?!

"Would you happen to know what starts it?" I already had a feeling but wanted to be wrong so badly.

"A daughter of Cold Harbor released from her gilded cage," well I wouldn't call what Serana had been in a gilded cage but yep. Exactly as I thought, it was the prophecy Serana was involved in. Looking up to the ceiling and sky beyond I sent a silent prayer wishing that the Gods would just stop piling shit on top of us.

"Yeah, it's started seems like. That'll be problem number two that we're currently dealing with now though."

"What could be more pressing than the sun being blotted out?! It's kind of important for life," I wouldn't call her words a shout but were definitely close. With sarcasm bleeding into her words as well.

"The dragons are returning and a 'Alduin' is apparently taking a leading role in it," I was greeted by silence from the goddess. Which was honestly more concerning.

"That… This is all piling on. Isn't it?" I never thought a god, let alone a Daedra, would ever express something close to concern. Made me trust Meridia just a hair more.

"Considering I'm traveling with the Dragonborn destined to fix the dragon problem and the daughter of Cold Harbor you were talking about yeah. I'm straight up not having a good time. At least they're both beautiful but that doesn't exactly make up for all this."

"... When the opportunity presents itself head to my Temple near Solitude. There is a Necromancer defiling my temple with his twisted magic. Kill him and you may claim Dawnbreaker as yours. My weapon meant to kill the undead and harm those who stand in front of my champion."

"What's the catch of taking the weapon and becoming your champion?"

"You clear out my temple and consider it a just reward… making the blade, and me by extension, famous through your actions is an added bonus."

"No preaching your name or influencing my destination in the afterlife?"

"No. Your life is yours to live as you see fit."

"I don't exactly believe you but I assume that's the best answer I'll get for now. You have yourself a deal."

"Good."

Then the orb and the connection seemingly died. There was nothing else there and I put the orb back in my pack, rubbing my head afterwards. Things would be so much nicer if there was simple problems and simple solutions but no. And now I had made a deal to go and fight a necromancer for a weapon. Meridia didn't even say what type of weapon it was. Could be a Warhammer for all I know. Still, the risk of that happening versus having a Deadric blade imbued by a bonafide Daedric god was worth the gamble.

She had said Dawnbreaker was meant to kill the undead so that'll be helpful in the future. Any dungeon or vampires will be helpful to kill them. Plus she said Dawnbreaker would help cut down my enemies. Best guess being that Dawnbreaker was enchanted or inscribed with runes. I'm hoping for the latter as recharging the weapon with soul gems every so often will be annoying.

"You okay Briljof?" snapping my eyes to my left Brealla was standing there with a concerned look in her eyes.

"Yeah. Just had a conversation with a god and found out what Serana's prophecy entails if we fail that one as well," she just gave me a blank stare and a raised eyebrow searching my face for any hint of a lie. She would find none.

"Well… How bad could it be?"

"The sun gets blotted out," she pinched the bridge of her nose before taking a big breath.

"Forget I asked," she turned around and left.

Getting up from my bench and following her she took me to one of the Greybeard rooms where there were multiple beds for us. Dropping my gear next to the closest bed I climbed in and prepared to pass out. Before I could though Brealla spoke up.

"The Greybeards don't have anything for me besides the possible location of a word of power. North of Ustengrav at a place called the High Gate Ruins," Serana perked up at the name.

"I know the place. Well, when it wasn't ruins and just High Gate. Place isn't far from the location used to get to my families Manor," Brealla looked at Serana in silence for a moment before opening her mouth.

"Would you like to go home? We can go before or after checking out the ruins," Serana seemed to think for a few moments before nodding her head.

"I think the time for me to return home has made itself known. It'll take at least a day to get to High Gate. Two if we take our time. Then there's clearing out whatever is left in High gate which will probably last another day, maybe less. After that escorting me home would be much appreciated."

"Then we have a plan. We should sleep then, start the day early," I got two nods of agreement from both women but I didn't pay much attention. Thoughts of sleep already taking me.

Waking the next morning before Brealla and Serana I walked out of the room and found some food for myself. One of the Greybeards seeing me eating and giving me a simple nod in greeting. Doing the same to the man he seemed to appreciate the gesture before disappearing deeper within High Hrothgar with a sweet roll in hand. After eating my fill and grabbing two extra sweet rolls I went back to where Brealla and Serana were. Both waking up to the smell of the roll before I handed them their food. Thanking me as they ate and began to wake up fully.

Once they were fully awake and finished their rolls we got our gear and left High Hrothgar. Brealla saying her goodbyes to the Greybeards while Serana and I grabbed our horses and took them over to the elevator. When Brealla joined us a few minutes later she had a contemplative look on her face but didn't voice her thoughts to us. Taking the silence in stride we rode downwards and got to the bottom before stepping out.

The moment we, did in front of us were five grotesque looking beings. Paler than Serana ever could be with armor that looked to be molded directly from an animal. Black as night and still oozing something in some places. Probably poison of some kind from the original animal, Chaurus if I had to guess. Their bodies were spindly and hunched over but I could tell from their muscle structure that they were strong in body. As my eyes finally found their faces they looked like elves but had no eyes. Scared over or had just empty patches of nothing there. Freaky.

Not bothering with diplomacy as these were the ones that had probably killed and taken the bandits I unslung my bow and fired. The arrow punching straight through what would've been the eye socket of one and punching out the back of their head. Their body collapsing like a doll that had their strings cut.

Brealla and Serana didn't hesitate beside me as the instant my arrow lodged itself in the monstrosities face they started slinging spells at them. They seemed to be prepared though as they raised their small, circular shields catching the spells and they dissipated immediately. They had to be inscribed with runes.

Taking the lead from the girls as Serana summoned a Frost Antronoch I charged the beings. Making as much noise as possible hoping that they would focus on the noise. Seemed they would as the four remaining all converged on me as I got my knife and ax out. Engaging the first one I instantly realized that doing so was a mistake. Not only were these things far stronger than anything or anyone I had fought before but they also had skill. They weren't just mindless beasts.

That mistake almost cost me my life too as another stabbed at my side and I was barely able to dodge. Receiving a shield bash to the face as a result but I would take that over being stabbed in the side and suffer a painful and long death over several hours. Seen people suffer through that, wasn't something I wished to experience.

Stumbling back from the shield bash I caught the overhand slash with my ax before kicking out to my right to push the one that tried to flank me away. The stumbled only a foot or two away but that was enough for the Antronoch to be there and crush them underfoot. Shoving the caught blade upwards I deflected another stab at my side deflecting it enough that their blade only grazed me.

Ducking under another shield bash I barely blocked a surprise slash to my face with my knife. The power behind the strike though pushed my blade into my cheek, cutting shallow into my face vertically. Stumbling back from the blow regardless I made to defend myself from the thing only for an ice bolt to eviscerate the things head. Spinning to where the remaining two where one of them jumped at me with their sword held high.

Rolling backwards out of the way I felt the vibration of the ground from where the sword had impacted, no way would I have been able to block that. As I came out of my roll a bolt of condensed and powerful lightning flew over me and slammed into the chest of the being. Their whole chest blackened and charred in an instant before they fell backwards dead. Leaving just one left which turned and ran for one of the holes in the wall.

With their back exposed they weren't actively shielding themselves even with their shield on their back as they ran. Dropping my ax and dagger, unslinging my bow and firing an arrow, their knee became the arrows new home. Punching straight through with their kneecap popping out of their skin and plopping away still with blood and ligaments attached.

Falling to the ground they tried to crawl back to the hole they were only two paces from. They didn't get another foot as twin ice bolts slammed into their ass and punched straight through their body. Exiting on opposite collar bones in an explosion of gore. That was not a pretty way to go at all.

Looking around for any other possible things there was none in the area that were alive. Walking over to one of the bodies I flipped them over and inspected them. Same observations from before the fight started with nothing else to add. There wasn't much else conjecture that could be made on the bodies without a full dissection. Something I didn't have the tools for.

"Any idea what these guys are?" I asked looking to Serana and Brealla. Brealla just shook her head but Serana walked over and inspected the body alongside me.

"They look familiar but nothing about them actually stands out. They're like a weird combination of the High, Wood and Dark elves," taking out her knife and slicing the neck of the thing. Leaning down she sniffed the blood before recoiling away immediately. "That is rancid."

"What did you get from doing that?" Serana took a moment to collect herself taking deep steadying breaths. Guess the smell of the blood was that bad for her.

"They've been experimented on. Extensively but it's set in. Probably several generations ago if not more. Whatever these things are they are little more than beasts," I wouldn't say there was horror in her voice but there was definitely disgust. Shaking her head she looked at the things eyes before beginning to poke at them before taking her knife and opening up the scaring where the eyes should've been.

"What the fuck?"

"What is it?" Brealla asked finally walking over to join us.

"The eyes… this scaring happened at birth and healed terribly. I think they destroyed the eyes and cut the sockets to shreds before just letting them heal."

"Why would they do that?" I asked.

"I don't know… from the other bodies they don't all have this but those that don't are the ones without eyes at all."

"They've been down there for more than few generations huh?" I asked Serana and she nodded her head.

"Probably a couple hundred years for something like this to manifest. Not to mention that a few don't have eyes or eyesockets at all."

"Let's just burn the bodies and be done with it," Brealla suggested a ball of flame resting in her open palms.

"No. We know nothing about whatever these beings are. We know they frequent this area but burning the bodies may be against their religion or what not and they'll take it as a blood feud. Just summon a couple more Antronochs and have them dispel. What they leave behind should cue the rest of these things into the fact these four just got unlucky. No reason for them to investigate further, we don't want them finding the elevator to High Hrothgar."

"Works for me," Serana said all too happy to get away from the bodies as she summoned a couple frost and Storm Antronochs. Brealla summoning a singular Fire one. All of them dispelling around the cave to make it look like a battle. Don't know how smart these things were but even if they were just basic they should think that a fight occurred here between their people and some mages. Just unlucky.

That being said, I did grab one of their shields and strapped it to the side of one of our horses. Wasn't heavy and not all that big. Perfect for fighting in tight spaces and it dissipated magic from Brealla and Serana. That was as much of an endorsement from me as anything, especially once I found the runes inscribed on it. The runes used were all basic enough even a Novice could have inscribed them but the entire runic array was the most complicated I had ever seen. Just layer on top of layer on top of layer; incredible craftsmanship. A Rune Master would pay out the ass to study this shield.

Moving through the cave after leaving the bodies behind we didn't talk about what we had fought. Though I did put down their characteristics for later. There was a good chance we'd be fighting them again sometime. Hopefully not in the near future but the fight was coming if we kept up our dungeon diving. With the fact we were now involved in two prophecies our luck was probably only going to get worse. At least for this type of shit.

Making our way through the entire cave we ran into no more of those things, they really needed a name. For now things will do as a name but that'll have to change in the future. Regardless me made our way out of the cave with the sun still not even high in the sky yet.

"Am I the only one that thinks we could be doing more about the dragons?" Brealla asked as we began down the same road used to get to Ustengrav the first time.

"No. Realistically though it's out of our hands," I spoke from behind her on the horse. "I have no one here to ask about information except for a maybe family near Whiterun I still haven't checked on. All Serana's contacts are either dead or attached to her father which will just add more problems that we don't need. And you are in the same boat as me but even less so."

"It was a rhetorical question… I just wish we could do more," she sighed.

"We could always go to the College after dropping Serana off. They could have more information we don't know about or you didn't find. Not to mention they probably have more information about Skyrim as a whole. Something we could both use, especially after fighting those things."

"Staying in one place for a week or so would be nice as well. Can't remember the last time I spent more than a week in a single place."

"Truly? Not even during the war?"

"I was one of maybe 20 mages in the Hammerfell army. They tossed me and four others around to wherever they needed us to go. I'm actually surprised that they never got you to escort my group."

"We were hunters always deep behind the enemy lines," before I could continue she interrupted me.

"So escorting was beneath you then," she teased.

"I wouldn't say that. More like it wasn't our job."

"Excuses… You got more time off than me?"

"Yeah, got hurt a couple times and needed to rest; a month being the longest. After the war finished though not so much except for a month where I had to wait for a craftsman to finish make my armor and daggers."

"They took them all didn't they?"

"I got one dagger back and know where my armor is. My second dagger is in the wind though. No idea where the Thalmor or Empire would have taken it, or who has my property… Now that you bring it up though what did you do for the year after the war ended?"

"The Redguards didn't let me out of their army for the year. I spent that time hunting down any remaining Thalmor and collaborators within Hammerfell. That reminds me, did you kill Grekt Shirgfa?"

"Yeah. Shifty little shit had me had me running around for a couple weeks before I got him. The bounty on his head got me my last thousand to pay for my gear."

"Fuck. You," she twisted her neck to stare into my eyes. Hers narrowed on me.

"What I do?" she twisted her head back to look at the road we were on.

"My group and I got our pay cut in half for the next month and a half because we didn't get him. Generals wanted him badly for public execution, not just a bounty."

"Well… I'm just better," this time she answered that with a shock to my side which had me yelp in my spot behind her. Earning a raised eyebrow from Serana who was to our right.

"I think Serana was right about your name Pinky. The Gods had to cut down on your ego," I just narrowed my eyes at the back of her head but at the moment there wasn't anything I could do.

"I swear, if you start using that name I will make it my mission to inconvenience you."

"Just inconvenience?"

"I can't exactly hurt the Dragonborn of prophecy now can I," I made sure to exaggerate the last bit much to her annoyance. Getting a groan and a shake of her head.

"Truce?"

"Truce then… I never saw other mages with you though. Saw you a couple times but never any other mages, why?"

"Cause I was the only one that could take orders and didn't immediately think myself better than they were. Generals seemed to like that and made me in charge of the group," I nodded my head and that was the end of the conversation.

We devolved into a nice silence then and continued to ride throughout the day. Eventually stopping in the mountain path and used the same cave we had found the slavers in as our shelter for the night. We could've pushed through the path a bit farther and maybe even got completely through but this was the only place we knew for certain was in the area. Plus, no holes for those things to come through and was defensible. No escape route but the warmth provided made up for that.

All said and done we went to sleep and got ready to get another shout for Brealla tomorrow and then get Serana back home.

Hope y'all enjoyed. Have a blessed day.
