Naruto on the other hand was busy with his work as a doctor, Bruce was learning to walk and he did enjoy sometimes babysitting so that Thomas and his wife would be able to go out for a little fun. It was nice for him to take care of a kid. It made him remember the few years he got to be with his eldest son.
Naruto always was a kind caregiver but never what you call cold. Bruce used to seem to love his stories he told him during his bedtime. Bruce was scared but as his father was shot a three prong knife fell out of his pocket. Bruce remembered what his uncle had once told his father.
He slammed the knife as hard as he could on the ground and it became stuck in the concrete that made the flooring of the alley. "Silly boy, if you are going to stab someone you need to work on your aim. I am standing right over here. Not that it will matter any, since you are going to die."
Just as he took am a flash of light happened and someone dressed in strange armor his face had a Fox shaped mask on his face. He jumped and kicked him right in the gut and hit him so hard the guy felt he broke three ribs.
"Who are you supposed to be? A wannabe hero? Not much of a hero if you couldn't save those two that I killed before you even got here." Naruto looked at Bruce and touched his head in an attempt to calm him down and make him feel better.
"Don't move Bruce, Uncle is going to make the scary man go away, there is nothing to be afraid off. " The guy didn't sound too impress and even made the mistake of calling him a liar. He began laughing like an absolute maniac," How are you going to save anyone if you are dead? "
Without him knowing Naruto placed him in a genjutsu that would terrify most people, the guy began to see as the Fox mask corroded away and heard Naruto look like nothing was wrong," I can say that because unlike you death is on my side. Why would I fear a dear old friend? "
