His house was not as big as the one the Wayne family made, but it was more than enough for them and at least a dozen kids. Naruto was not planning to have that many kids. The only problem is that Naruto needed a house that big since for as far as he knew it, his wife always told me she wanted a big family.
Naruto never could understand why a house full of bickering and fighting over every little thing from attention to their personal possessions was appealing, must be because she grew up as the only child in her family. She was asleep, and he couldn't help but watch her as he woke up earlier than she did. Naruto thought that he never could get tired of this, to see the woman that means everything to him asleep, alive, and one day happy.
Naruto leaned closer and she did too as she gave him a small short and sweet kiss to my lips, "How did you know I was awake?" She laughed and she said it came with being married. She got up and got dressed in some black pants, blue blouse, nice belt, and boots, they walked into the kitchen and found their breakfast.
"You used a shadow clone to make us breakfast, how did you remember what I liked for breakfast? It has been thousands of years since we lived together." Naruto gave her a much longer kiss and told her it came from being her husband.
The two had quite the day planned out, they would go to do some shopping, mostly items Diana needed for her personal care and some clothes. You never expect it but Naruto understood that a married couple needed to go out on a date every once in a while, to rekindle their feelings for one another.
As they both got to the mall Diana could hardly believe what she was seeing, everything she needed to buy was inside a single massive building, Naruto tried very hard not laugh as she saw that they even had a place that served food.
After they watched a movie together, they went to do some clothes shopping. Naruto knew she needed some more clothes to her wardrobe, but what he didn't expect is that she was also planning to increase his wardrobe as well. Let's face it after thousands of years of living alone he really didn't need that many pieces of clothing.
Two armor sets, and two sets of plain ordinary civilian clothes, the same wardrobe he had when he was single back in Konoha. After a few choice purchases, he sent a shadow clone to take everything back to their home.
Just as she was going to kiss him for being so considerate an alarm was heard, it turns out this massive mall also had a bank, and it just happens that some costumed psycho decided to rob it. Naruto and Diana ran towards the place and saw as the man was pointing a gun at someone. At least Naruto knew it was a gun, he fired but thanks to those bracelets she always wears she deflected the shot.
She slowly began walking over to the bank robber and she just kept deflecting his shots as he really tried to kill her. "I had this entire plan made out, I would purchase some clothes, spend some time with the man I love and by Hera finally be able to be with him, a perfect date by all accounts, but then you greedy idiot, you had to ruin it!"
She walked close enough to take his weapon from him, and she crushed it to pieces in her hand. "Now I want to return to my date with my husband, and killing you while very much enjoyable to me would steal a lot of time for me to explain why I killed you, so I give you the choice. You can choose to either surrender and pay for your crime or I will crack that empty coconut you call a skull in my hand."
The man was scared enough that he pissed his pants, he then looked at Naruto with an almost begging look on his face, "Don't look at me, this is one of the reasons I try very hard not to upset my wife. She is an absolute angel most of the time, but when angry she could make the Devil cry."
The bank robber then saw a police officer walking by and he ran towards him, he dropped to his knees in front of the cop and begged him to take him to jail, he confessed everything he did to break the law since the moment he became eighteen years old. The poor cop didn't even have the chance to say anything at all.
Diana walked over to Naruto and she had her hands on her hips, "And what do you mean I can make the Devil cry? Need I remind you the person they call the devil is my father now, and he is your best friend?"
Naruto pulled her close into a tight hug and a kiss, "I also happen to be friends with Count Dracula and the leader of a league of assassins that call themselves the League of Shadows. I do love you wife, but you have to admit, you can be quite frightening when you are angry."
That is when Superman landed and J'on walked toward them. He apparently was also in the bank checking on his investments or so he told them. "Thank you, Diana, you saved me from having to change into something terrifying to save these people, but to what do we owe the honor of you coming Superman?"
Superman looked at them and smiled, "I guess I was lucky that all of you chose this particular mall, I heard the shots so I was coming to see if I could help. This is lucky because Batman and I came up with an idea we would like to discuss with you. We can't talk here, though, so meet me on the moon when you change into your work clothes."
Diana and Naruto flew up to the moon and were waiting for Superman and J'on to show up. Since they were taking their sweet time, they decided to dance a little, that is when someone began to clear his throat. "Honestly do all couples become this unaware of their surroundings when they are in a romantic moment?"
J'on was not expecting Superman to say something like this, "I don't know, I would think you experienced this with that human you work with, what is her name? Louise?" Superman began shaking his head and trying to think of something that would stop himself from blushing.
"Now that you are here, kindly look to the horizon. You will find a structure, that is where we are going." Naruto jumped off the moon and began to fly towards it. The building was massive, it was surprising that the people down on the planet never notice it.
As they all landed on what looked like to be a hangar for rather strange-looking ships, Naruto began to look around, his eyes becoming active out of sheer instinct. "We just got here and you are already expecting an ambush, and here I thought Batman was paranoid."
Naruto looked at where the voice was coming, and sure enough, it was Robin who said that. Batman was standing by the door that was clearly the exit to the hangar. "I would expect nothing else from Uncle, after all, he always said never take a situation or surroundings for granted. I would like to welcome you all to the watchtower."
Superman, J'on, Naruto and Diana began to walk towards Batman, "So where did this massive building come from? I doubt any government on Earth would pay for this." Naruto had to agree with Superman, most nations had enough trouble keeping their countries financially stable, they would never spend on something that was in space like this, well maybe the US would during the era of the space race but not now.
Batman looked at them with a smile, Robin could count the times he saw Bruce smile using the fingers in one hand so this was surprising to him too. "Actually this place was built by the Wayne Corporation as a part of a proposed watch outpost that they proposed during the cold war. It has been abandoned and it took a like elbow grease and a pile of cash to get it to current standards."
Green Lantern landed right as Batman finished saying that, "Sort of reminds me of the watch outpost the Green Lantern Corp keeps as bases in each sector of space. So mind telling me why you called me J'on?"
The Martian Manhunter decided to change shape to a more shall we say natural form, "I figured that you would want to be here since you are the supposed protector of the sector our planet is in."
Batman looked at him and nodded his head, "Let's get to the point, we all know that Earth was just almost quite literally eaten by a space parasite, and I figure since the planet is so hopeless in defending itself, we might use this place to make something that can protect the Earth while we defend the weak, and ensure Justice prevails."
"My proposal is that we work together and for a League, a Justice League as it were, a place where heroes can gather together and work together for the good of the innocent and a place to give the fear of God to those that do evil."
Naruto heard these words once from his old friend, and that didn't go so well, they were not exactly the same words but the sentiment was the same, a kingdom where Justice and Equality was the central idea, a place where the weak would not be oppressed by the strong, and evil would suffer if they tried to harm others.
It was an idea his old friend had until the day the very knights that were sworn to protect the kingdom divided and betrayed their leader. Arturia always was a dreamer, even as a child, too bad that the equality of the kingdom she dreamed didn't extend towards women, she had to pretend to be a guy for years, a man that the people called King Arthur and his knights of the round.
This League reminded Naruto of his time back then, a time when he was one of those knights, and this Justice League felt very much the same as the day that the Knights of the round table were formed. Naruto could not help but hope that this time this League ended up like they did.
"I agree with Batman, this place can work as a central base for our efforts, we can gather and share information about possible threats and possible disasters from this place. I gather these ships are here for people that can't travel on their own."
Bruce smiled as he heard Naruto say that, "Since you all stayed it means you also agree since this is the first day of the Justice League why don't I give you all the grand tour of our new headquarters?"
They all walked in and began to hear what each part of the building was, the place even had a residential section where heroes could actually live, Diana didn't like the way the so-called Flash was looking at her or the fact that he was there at all. Bruce pretty much explained that he was one of the people that helped get the place updated and upgraded.
"A person with my speed can do wonders in renovating and upgrading this derelict space station, instead of looking at me like I should be here, think of it as my present for allowing me to join the Justice League."
Naruto walked over to him, and he grabbed him by his neck. Most everyone was shocked to see that the supposed fastest man alive couldn't evade his grip. "Just so that we are clear, me and my wife live together, and if I even think that you are peeping at my wife in an indecent manner, or to look at her clothes when the room is empty, I will throw you hard enough that you will kiss the Sun, am I clear?"
The Green Lantern looked at Naruto and then at Diana, "Is he always this overprotective and possessive?" Diana could not help but to laugh as she heard him say those words, "What can I say, it makes me feel loved and protected, but yes, he has always been a little overprotective, it's an endearing quality my husband has, even though he should remember I am no damsel in distress."
