In one house at an unknown location, we go inside a kitchen to see an old woman and young woman in her late 20's sitting at one table with faces obscured by black scribbles, the two of them are sitting at a table with numerous bills scattered in front of them.
"Looks like you've hit rock bottom this month.'' the old woman sarcastically pointed out.
The young woman sighed, "If I only could just finish school and get a job, everything will be all right.'' she said.
"And who's going to care for the kids while you work?'' the old woman questioned with a raised eyebrow, "Because God knows HE won't.'' she pointed out when suddenly the young woman began to cry, "Stop doing that.'' she advised in annoyance, "What is that sob?'' she asked.
"I don't know what else to do..." the young woman cried in desperation.
The old woman sighed, "All right... we'll pay for your tuition.'' she said.
The young woman looks at her in surprise, "R-Really?'' she asked.
The old woman nodded, "Yes.'' she confirmed, "And I know a place where we can put the children for adoption.'' she added.
The young woman gasped in shock, "W-What? No...'' she muttered.
"You think you want this but no... not like this.'' the old woman pointed out.
"Of course I do...'' the young woman tried to reason but was interrupted when the old man bangs a fist on the table.
"Don't let that MAN ruin your life like it did mine.'' the old man advised rather aggressively, "You're gonna finish your schooling and become a nurse, you'll get a job, a family and a husband that cares for you.'' she stated, "But you won't be able to do that if you stay close with the children of that bastard you call a husband!" she exclaimed, "Please... believe me... this is for you own good.'' she said with a pleading. The young woman looks down for a minute before slowly nodding her head in agreement, "Good.'' the old woman said with a nod, "Tomorrow morning... I'll be sending the children to an orphanage and after that, I'll help you find a school.'' she instructed with the young woman nodding her head slowly.
As this is going on, a boy with a messy blue hair is seen hiding behind the entrance doorway of the kitchen, and after hearing their conversation, the boy quickly ran upstairs and into his room, closing the door shut as everything went black.
The doors then opens to see Marcus "The Kane" McGee coming out from the bathroom with a refresh look on his face. He is currently wearing a black hooded longcoat over a white t-shirt with a Watchmen symbol on it, black baggy pants and gray shoes.
"Welp! Time to head towards the club room and had another war of words with the ice queen.'' Marcus mused before walking towards the door, "And I'm not talking about Schnee.'' he added.
And upon exiting his dorm room that he shares with Eddy Skipper McGee and Rex Salazar, Marcus got on his segway hoverboard scooter and quickly made his way out of his dorms, exits the dormitory village and heads straight towards the Vanguard Academy.

And upon arriving at the academy, the courtyard is crowded with students, walking around and chatting with their friends. Amongs the crowds, we see Filia and Shinpachi Shimura alongside a group of new students which includes Fudou Nomura, Rin Onigawara, Mary Kikakujou, Warabi Hanasaka, Satori Tamaba, Tsukuyo Inaba, Nono Muzonono and Choka U. Barazaki having a walk with Filia and Shinpachi showing them around.
Then Marcus nearly ran over them, "Hey! Watch where you going Marcus?!" Shinpachi demanded but Marcus didn't turn around and gave him a middle finger instead, "Asshole.'' he muttered in annoyance.
"That boy needs some correcting.'' Rin commented.
Filia huffed, "We'd like to see you try.'' she said while jabbing a thumb at Fudou, "He is like Nomura in a sense but a lot more worse.'' she stated.
Fudou grinned, "Huh~ Is that so?'' he mused.
Shinpachi sighed, "Anyway... how are you liking this place so far?'' he asked.
Mary crosses her arms, "I had to admit... this place is a lot more extravagant than I excepted.'' she admitted, "But I'm still wary about the males in this place.'' she confessed while watching Dan Kusou passes-by them on his skateboard.
Wasabi scoffed, "You're such a worrywart, Kikakujou.'' she said, "Are you perhaps afraid because the rules in our school does not apply here?'' she questioned with a teasing grin.
Mary scoffed, "As if I'll be scared with something like that!" she argued with Choka nodding in agreement, "Besides... Miss Mikazuchi told me that there are certain rules in this school that perverts should keep their perversions to themselves and if they act with their lecherous impulses will get punished.'' she stated.
"And the punishments are decided by the VIPs and believe it or not... the punishments are quite lethal.'' Filia added with a dreadful look before shaking her head, "You girls could join them if you want.'' she suggested.
"We'll think about it.'' Rin answered, "But right now... we want to know more about this academy.'' she said.
As this is going on, we see Lina Inverse and Merlin alongside a group of new students and a new teacher which includes Arata Kasuga, Lilith Asami, Yui Kurata, Akio Fudou, Mira Yamana, Levi Kazama, Arin Kannazuki and Selina Sherlock having a walk with Lina and Merlin showing them around.
Arata let's out a whistle, "This place is nice.'' he commented, "I wonder how many days has been spent to built this academy?'' he thought out loud.
"The academy is built for only one day.'' Merlin answered.
This taken Arata and the others by surprise, "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH?!" they exclaimed in shock, "One day?" Selina squawked, "Is that even possible?!" she questioned in disbelief.
"This academy was created thanks to the help of the very talented Bearpenters.'' Merlin pointed out with a smile, "These creatures are known to have the ability to build things in just hours or even seconds.'' she explained.
On cue, three Bearpenters walks past them, "Kyaa~ They're so cute~" Yui squealed.
"I wanna know more about those creatures.'' Arin confessed.
Mira looks around with narrowed eyes, "Still there's a lot of impure presences in this academy.'' she pointed out.
Lina rolled her eyes, "Mira... we've been over this!'' she admonished, "Those with impure presence are good people! There's nothing to be worry about.'' she reassured.
"It doesn't hurt to be cautious.'' Mira replied.
"Trust me... those with what you call 'impure presence'...'' Lina began with a finger quote, "... has things under their control.'' she reassured.
On cue, Owain, Inigo and Gerome walks past them when suddenly, Owain grabbed his right arm and made a painful expression, "Gah... the darkness... it gathers...'' he grunted, "Be calm, right hand! Hold I say!" he ordered while Inigo and Gerome stares at him blankly.
Mira then pointed a finger at them when Lina spoke, "That's just how he acts at times... just ignore him.'' the redhead advised in annoyance.
Meanwhile at the academy's entrance footsteps, we see a group consisting of Koutarou Satomi, Sanae Higashihongan, Yurika Nijino, Kiriha Kurano, Theiamillis Gre Forthorthe, Ruthkania Nye Pardomshiha, Shizuka Kasagi, Harumi Sakuraba and Kenji Matsudaira sitting by the footsteps waiting for either Clarity Dresden or Rook Blonko to show them around the academy.
"I can't believe you guys has been keeping a lot of secrets from me.'' Makkenji muttered in dejected.
Koutarou rubs the back of his head, "Sorry about.'' he apologized, "With the crazy things going on in the Corona House, we can't let anymore people involve in the mess we made.'' he explained.
"Besides... would you even believe us if we tell you?'' Shizuka questioned.
Makkenji sighed, "I suppose you all have good reasons for keeping it a secret.'' he replied.
Sanae then spoke, "Anyway... I'm really can't wait to see the academy looks inside!'' she cheered, "A place this huge is a target for exploring.'' she stated.
"Well... I'm more interested in meeting the royalties in this academy.'' Theia said, "Cynthia told me that a lot of them are attending here and all of them came from different kingdoms.'' she pointed out.
"Her majesty is really interested on how they work things in their respective kingdom.'' Ruth explained with a smile.
Kiriha then spoke, "I can't really help but be amazed that this academy allowed different kinds of people to attend here.'' she admitted, "I wonder if there's an underground dweller like myself attending here.'' she thought out loud.
"With how vast the multiverse is... I find that possible.'' Koutarou replied.
"What about magical girls?'' Yurika questioned.
"Blonko-san did confirmed that a lot of genuine magical girls are attending this academy.'' Ruth answered.
Sanae then turns to Yurika, "But I suggest that you stay away from them.'' she advised, "Because I'm pretty sure that they'll get offended with that magical girl cosplay of yours.'' she explained.
Tears began to comically fall down Yurika's face, "Eeeee... please believe in me...'' she cried before clinging onto Harumi.
Harumi patted Yurika's back, "There... there..." she reassured with a smile before turning to Koutarou, "I'm really excited on what this place has in store for us.'' she confessed cheerfully.
Koutarou smiled, "Me, too.'' he said in agreement.
Meanwhile inside the academy, we head towards a large room where we see Azuki Shinatsu, Chacha Akaza, Furan Takaki, Haruko Amaya, Inaho Kushiya, Kengo Usui, Kimi Satou, Kodama Himegami, Takeru Ooyama, Uruchi Minaya and Yuuka Amato having a conversation with Kiyotaka Ishimaru while Cornelius Fillmore and Ingrid Third sitting at one desk.
"We welcome you all in the joint room of the Disciplinary Committee and the Safety Patrol!" Kiyotaka greeted with a full voice and his hands behind his back, "We may have different ways of disciplining the students here but I do look forward with working with all of you!" he declared while offering a handshake to Furan.
"Geez... this guy is too loud.'' Azuki thought in annoyance.
Furan slightly backs away from him, "Um... yeah... it's nice to meet you, too.'' she replied.
Kiyotaka took noticed of this, "Is there something the matter?'' he asked in concern, "You seem tensed in my presence.'' he pointed out.
Yuuka then spoke, "Sorry about that.'' she apologized, "Furan here is androphobic.'' she revealed, "But don't worry, I believe Furan can work with you fine as long as you keep your distance.'' she advised.
Kiyotaka nodded, "All right, I understand, I respect your circumstances and I'll keep my distance to avoid discomforting you.'' he complied before turning to Cornelius, "I trust that you'll do the same, Cornelius?'' he asked.
Cornelius nodded with a grin, "You have my word.'' he confirmed.
Furan smiled, taking a liking towards Kiyotaka's awareness and well-mannered personality, she feels that she could trust him on a long run and maybe finally get rid of her fear of men.
"Anyway...'' Kiyotaka spoke, "We've been told about your arrival, so we've settled a place for your team to do work.'' he said.
"Thank you... that's very thoughtful of you.'' Furan said in gratitude.
Haruko then spoke, "But I had to ask... why are the Disciplinary Committee and the Safety Patrol are treated as a separated group?'' she questioned, "Aren't they the same?'' she pointed out.
"True that the the Disciplinary Committee and the Safety Patrol are the same but our work are completely different.'' Kiyotaka answered, "The disciplinary committee are tasked to monitor down the halls and reprimand anyone whom is misbehaving while the safety patrol works on crime-like school related issues.'' he explained.
"Crime-like?'' Uruchi questioned with a raised eyebrow.
Ingrid then spoke, "It's kinda like how you guys work but instead of dealing with super-powered troublemakers, we deal with cunning masterminds and over-the-top troublemakers.'' she explained.
"I see.'' Haruko replied.
Kiyotaka looks up for a minute before speaking once more, "Another thing... there is another group called the Public Morals Committee that put the school rules as the top priority.'' he revealed.
"Really? Then where are they?'' Haruko asked.
"They had their own office located somewhere in this school.'' Kiyotaka answered.
"But why are they separated from you guys?'' Takeru asked.
Cornelius spoke, "Let's just say that we don't get along with them.'' he answered.
Kiyotaka nodded, "And while I respect that they put school rules first than anything.'' he admitted, "I don't appreciate that they handle things through violence.'' he stated with a dark expression.
Meanwhile at the academy's rooftop, we see Aya Asagiri, Tsuyuno Yatsumura, Rina Shioi, Kosame Amagai, Sayuki Ringa, Mikari Izumigamine, Kiyoharu Suirenji, Asahi Takiguchi and Nijimi Anazawa gathered by the chained fence with Tsuyuno and Rina looking over the school grounds while Nijimi is keeping herself from killing Rina.
"This place is too crowded.'' Rina commented, "Just how many freaks are attending this school?'' she questioned in disbelief.
"They all come from all parts of the multiverse, Rina.'' Tsuyuno pointed out.
Rina then pulls out a small bottle from her pockets, "Still... I'm really surprised that this place found a way to increase the lifespan that we lost after using our sticks.'' she stated.
Aya stares at the bottle in her hand, "I wonder if they can find a way to stop our lifespans from decreasing even after using our sticks.'' she thought out loud.
Kiyoharu waves a bottle in her hand, "They created these for us... so I think that's possible.'' she replied.
Amu Hinamori then enters the rooftop and walks towards them, "Hey, girls.'' she greeted, "How are you holding up in this place?'' she asked.
"Well... we like it here - desuwa.'' Mikari replied, "But we're still getting used with the other students here.'' she admitted while watching Crested Ibis and Scarlet Ibis flies above them.
Amu chuckled, "You'll soon get use to it.'' she said before tossing a small handgun with a wing-like hammer towards Aya, "Thanks for lending your stick again, Aya, it was a big help.'' she said in gratitude as Aya clumsily caught her gun.
"N-No problem.'' Aya replied.
"You lend her your stick?'' Tsuyuno questioned.
Aya nodded, "H-Hai.'' she confirmed, "Amu-san told me that the Science and Research wanted to conduct a brief research about our sticks, so I lend them mine.'' she explained.
"Did they used it?'' Kiyoharu asked.
Amu shook her head, "No... they're were afraid of loosing their lifespans, so I volunteered to use Aya's stick.'' she answered, "And yeah, they're wimps.'' she added.
"Well... I admire your bravery.'' Sayuki admitted.
"The risk was worth it though because after using Aya's stick, we've discovered that I didn't even lost an inch of my lifespan.'' Amu revealed.
This taken the girls in shock, "W-What?! How is that possible?!" Rina exclaimed in shock.
"It seems like the aftereffects of using the sticks only works in your home world.'' Amu spoke, "I've used Aya's stick, so many times even to the point of abusing it but it never decreases my lifespan. It's possible that the moment that you left your world, the power connection between your sticks and the admins that gave you items has been cut off which allows any of you use your sticks freely without prior consequences.'' she explained.
"That's really convenient." Nijimi commented.
"I just wish we could do the same thing in our world." Asahi muttered.
Amu smiled, "Don't worry.'' she reassured, "The Science and Research are already working on that.'' she declared.
