Upon seeing Karasu, the Heart Foundation got themselves ready while King Bugs Bunny demanded who she is however, she responded by summoning an Alone, much to everyone's shock.

It was a nice morning in Neo-City as we head towards the Training Camp where see Shizune Takatsuki was currently hanging out under the Sakura tree alongside Honne Hohotoke, Riko Kishihara and Yuko Tanimoto having a conversation.

"So, Shizune, how is your relationship with Jake so far?" Riko asked with an excited smile.

Shizune meekly scratches her cheek, "We're doing good." she replied, "We may not see each other most of the time due to missions but we kept in contact via LINE." she stated.

Yuko sighed, "Lucky you." she complimented, "We've been here for quite some time now but I can't find a guy for myself." she stated in disappointment.

Riko nodded in agreement, "Yeah." she replied.

Shizune sweatdropped, "Well... getting into a relationship isn't easy to begin with." she reasoned.

Suddenly, a blue portal appeared right above the girls surprising them.

"W-What is going on?!" Honne squawked in shock.

Before any of the girls could reply to that, something came out of the portal... something small.

Shizune gasped upon seeing what came out and upon instinct she immediately stood up and held out her arms to catch it and fortunately, she caught it just in time much to the other girls' relief.

"Yokatta..." Shizune muttered in relief before taking a look at whatever she caught and much to her surprise, it looked like a little cat dressed in a cowboy getup, "What are you little guy?" she muttered in wonderment.

Her thoughts were interrupted by her friends.

"Thank goodness, you caught it." Yuko stated.

"What did you catch Shizune-chan? Is it alright?" Honne asked.

When Shizune showed the unconscious little cat to the girls, the moment they saw it, they immediately gushed over its cuteness.

"Awww~! Ka~wa~ii~!" they gushed.

"Oh~! It looks so cute! I could just snuggle it foevuh!" Honne cooed with sparkles in her eyes and all the other girls including Shizune nodded in agreement.

Shizune giggled, "It sure is, but I think it's best to take this little guy to the medical wing, who knows what happened to it?" she said before proceeding to take the mysterious cat to the medical wing.

Later in the Sick Bay somewhere inside the Training Camp, we see Shizune sitting on a chair right next to a medical bed where the unconscious cat that mysteriously appeared laid.

Shizune had been sitting by the cat's side waiting for it to wake up, she is currently reading a book when all of a sudden, she heard the sound of groaning and she turned to see the cat starting to stir awake.

"Oh, you're awake, thank goodness." Shizune said in relief.

Upon hearing an unknown voice, the cat's eyes suddenly snapped open jolting him awake, "AAAHHH!" he shouted in shock with bloodshot wide eyes surprising Shizune.

Disoriented, the cat jumped to his feet standing on the bed and looked around his surroundings in confusion while pulling out what looked like a pair of chibi sized revolver pistols from either side of his hips: A black colored Taurus raging bull revolver with white teeth designs and a green jewel on either side of the revolver resembling angry eyes held on his right paw and a black colored Chiappa rhino 60DS revolver with a dark brown grip and a purple colored swing out cylinder held on his left paw.

"HUH?! HUH?! Where am I?! Where am I?!" the cat shouted hysterically while pointing his revolver pistols at random directions at every turn.

"Whoa! Whoa! Just calm down little guy, calm down!" Shizune advised with her arms held up while trying to calm down the little frantic trigger-happy cat.

That's when the cat finally noticed the girl next to his bed, "You! There was a giant blue hand! It grabbed me! Tell me where it is this instant! In fact, TELL ME WHERE I AM!" he demanded while shakily pointing his guns at the IS Pilot Blessed.

"Okay, okay, I'll tell you, but first how about you take a deep breath, put the guns down and just calm down for a few moments okay." Shizune gently advised.

The cat stared at Shizune in the eyes and for some reason, he had a feeling that he could trust her and so, he sighed and complied, "Okay..." he said before lowering his guns and putting them away, "Sorry I freaked out." he apologized, much to Shizune's relief.

"That's good." Shizune said before taking a deep breath, "Anyway, my name's Shizune Takatsuki, it's nice to meet you." she greeted while introducing herself at the same time.

"Shizune... huh... that's a nice name." the cat comment, "Anyway, it's also nice to meet you too, I'm Cal and I'm an Exceed." he introduced himself, "I'm also a mage from Earthland." he added.

Earthland Mage and Exceed

Cal

Cal is a walking talking cat about the same size as Happy with navy blue fur, white tuffs on the tips of his ears and one tuff on the top of his head, white stomach, white tipped long tail, a pair of purple eyes and two whiskers on each side of his lower face. He's clad in a purple button up shirt with rolled up sleeves under a brown open vest, dark gray jean pants with a silver tiger head shaped buckled belt and his tail sticking out of the back, a brown and purple accented poncho, a navy blue neckerchief around his neck, a pair of brown cowboy boots, a pair of small sized black magic revolver pistols holstered on either side of his hips and a gray Stetson cowboy hat with a belt around the top with a silver buckle shaped like angel wings in the middle worn on his head with his cat ears sticking out.

Later, Angela "Mercy" Ziegler came and introduced herself and in return Cal introduced himself as well and then Mercy explained to the little Exceed where he currently was and he was even given brief info about the history of the Heroes Coalitions.

"Whoa! That's so cool! So, I'm in a place where heroes are trained!" Cal exclaimed in glee.

"I think you're getting a bit overexcited there little guy." Shizune mused.

Mercy then spoke, "Cal? Can you please tell us about yourself?" she asked.

Cal then told them that he's a freelance mage and he then explained that he was visiting his parents at the village where the Exceeds resided and after leaving, he was taken by a giant blue hand just when he woke up from taking a nap and he ended up right where he currently is.

Mercy nodded in understanding.

"So, what are you gonna do now, Cal?" Shizune asked.

Cal thought about it, "Hmm... perhaps once I've rested a bit, can you somehow... show me around?" he requested.

Shizune nodded with a smile, "Sure... I can even introduce you to Dragneel-san and the others." she replied.

All of a sudden, Cal gasped in surprise, "Dragneel! As in Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail!?" he exclaimed with stars in his eyes.

Shizune nodded, "Uh huh, are you a fan?" she asked.

"Yeah, I am!" Cal confirmed, "In fact, I'm a very big fan of Fairy Tail and I dreamed of one day meeting them in person!" he exclaimed.

"Then, I'd be happy to introduce you to all of them" Shizune said with a smile.

Cal then started jumping in joy on his bed like a kid, "WHOO HOOOO!" he cheered and Shizune couldn't help but giggle in response to Cal's giddiness.

Later that day, we see Shizune showing Cal around the training facility and to say that Cal was awed by the place was an understatement.

The little exceed met a lot of nice people and he even hit it off with some of the other people with feline traits or anthropomorphic cats such as Nyaruto Nyazumaki, Lion, Blake Belladona and heck even, Jibanyan despite his quirks.

Currently, Shizune and Cal are at the lounging area where some solo heroes and some teams including Shizune's team the Hunting Team were currently at and it was where Shizune introduced Cal to most of the people from Earthland who were also present.

"Hello!" Cal greeted with a polite bow although a bit nervous, "I-I'm Cal! I'm a freelance mage and I'm a very big fan of your guild! It's a pleasure to meet you guys!" he greeted.

Everyone greeted back at him and welcomed him with open arms, some of the members including Natsu Dragneel and Happy befriended Cal and some found him kinda cute. Cal even found himself getting smooshed against Millianna's cleavage, gushing over Cal at the same, much to his surprise and embarrassment while blushing and flailing his arms around and steam coming out of his ears.

Fortunately for him, Shizune managed to get him away from Millianna, whom apologized in response.

Cal sat on the floor with swirly eyes before shaking it off.

Carla then approaches him, "Are you alright?" she asked while offering him a hand.

"Yeah... I'm alright." Cal replied before taking her hand as the female exceed helped him stand up, "Anyway... there's something that I want to say to you guys of Fairy Tail." he proclaimed while dusting himself and that got everyone present in the room curious. Cal then turned to the members of Fairy Tail and much to their surprise, he removed his cowboy hat and bowed to them, "Thank you very much!" he said in gratitude.

Everyone in the room were surprised and confused at the same time, "Eh? Why?" Lucy Heartfilia asked.

"Oh... you see... I was one of the few exceeds sent to Earthland from Edolas awhile back before I hatched." Cal explained, much to Fairy Tail member's surprise, "I was found and raised by an old wizard in the western regions of Earthland, he taught me everything I know today about magic and he even told me stories about you guys and after he passed on, I became a freelance mage and traveled around Earthland." he furthered, "During one of my travels, I stumbled upon a village filled with Exceeds and they welcomed me with open arms and that was where I learned my place and origins and what I really am and I even got to meet my birth parents." he added, "They told me the story of how you guys saved them and I vowed that I'd one day thank you guys..." he stated, "Because if you hadn't saved the other Exceeds... I never would've met my birth parents and learned what I really am." he finished, "So once again... thank you." he bowed in gratitude with everyone smiling in response and Happy patting his back, Cal then put on his hat. "As I said before, I'm a big fan of your guild." he declared, "But I'm mostly a big fan of you Dragonslayers." he said towards Natsu and Wendy Marvell, "I heard a lot of stories about you guys and even how you guys are partnered to exceeds." he stated.

Shizune then spoke, "Y'know Cal, I'm a Dragon Slayer myself." she revealed.

Cal turns to her in shock, "HUUUUH?! FOR REAL?!" he exclaimed with sprouted wings before flying towards Shizune with stars in his eyes.

Shizune giggled in response, "Yep!" she chirped, "Though I wasn't raised by a dragon, I did get powers of a Dragon Slayer." she clarified.

"Can you show me?! Huh?! Huh?! Huh?!" Cal asked in excitement, eager to see Shizune's Dragon Slayer magic, much to everyone in the room's amusement.

"Sure." Shizune replied with a smile.

Later that day at the training area where Shizune is about to show Cal her Dragon Slayer-type power while Alla Yuliya, Aria "Arinah" Sakurada, Bud Bison, Eustace Bagge, Hunter Isaac Rey, Lavi, Luna Loud, Lunette Yaeger, Malvina Rasputin, Tsunayoshi Sawada and Yasutora "Chad" Sado watches them from the bleachers.

Shizune took a deep breath with blue-colored flames filling her mouth before breathing out a surge of blue flame, swirling across the training area which then took the form of a dragon, letting out a small roar before dissipating.

"Whoooa! You're so coooool!" Cal exclaimed in awe.

Shizune let's out a small breath before smiling, "Thank you, Cal-san." she replied.

"And you said your Dragon Slayer magic is actually your Gift which makes you a Blessed?" Cal asked.

Shizune nodded, "Yes." she confirmed.

"And how long did you say you were a Blessed?" Cal added.

Shizune thought about it, "I believe I've been a Blessed for a couple of months." she recalled.

"Whoa! That's so cool! And you're part of a hero team too, that is so awesome!" Cal complimented when a thought came to mind while rubbing his chin "Hey, Shizune?" he asked.

Shizune turns to him, "Yeah?" she replied.

"Do you have an Exceed partner?" Cal asked.

Shizune rubs the back of her head, "Sorry... I don't have one." she answered rather bashfully, "Or even thought of getting one." she added.

Cal closed his eyes and crossed his arms in thought, "I see... he said before opening his eyes, "Okay then... I've made up my mind!" he declared with a somewhat serious look.

"Hmm? What is it?" Shizune asked.

"Shizune Takatsuki..." Cal spoke with a serious voice with his eyes shadowed by his hat as he stood in front of the IS Academy student as the atmosphere turned silent while everyone waited for what Cal's gonna say, Cal then showed a smile before pointing a paw at Shizune, "Starting today, I'm gonna be your partner!" he declared.

There was silence until the whole room erupted.

"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH?!" everyone shouted in shock except for one.

Shizune is taken a back by his declaration, "M-M-M-Me? A-A-As your p-p-partner?!" she stuttered in shock.

Cal nodded, "You see... ever since I heard awesome stories of the Dragon Slayers and their Exceed partners when I was a kitten, I've always dreamed of being partnered to a Dragon Slayer." Cal explained rather embarrassingly while rubbing the back of his neck. Then suddenly, Cal went on his knees and bowed in front of Shizune, "So please! Please let me be your partner!" he begged rather desperately.

Shizune thought about it for a few minutes, she turns towards the other whom gave her a nod in response except for one, Shizune nodded back before turning to Cal, "Okay, Cal-san, I'll be your partner." she declared.

Cal looks up at her, "Really?!" he asked with hope in his eyes.

"Absolutely!" Shizune confirmed with a smile.

"WHOO HOO!" Cal cheered in joy while jumping up in the air, sprouting out his wings and flying around in joy, much to everyone's amusement except for one. Cal then landed on Shizune's left shoulder, "I promise you won't regret this Shizune, I'm a very powerful mage, I know more than just aera magic and I can back you up in any way possible!" he declared enthusiastically with Shizune giggling in response.

"Hmm... guess this means we got ourselves a new honorary member then." Arinah mused with the rest of the Hunting Team nodded in agreement except for one.

Cal then flew off of Shizune's shoulder and landed on the floor when Hunter approached him, "Well then... guess this means you're part of the team now," the Ace Fighter pointed out with his arms crossed while looking at the Exceed.

"I guess so, since Shizune's my partner now." Cal replied with a shrug of his shoulders.

Hunter nodded, "Then as a new honorary member of the team, your first order of business..." he trailed off with the Exceed raising an eyebrow at him. Hunter then pointed a finger at him with a smug grin, "Is to do a number of chores for us!" he declared.

Cal blink in surprise and confusion, "Eh?" he muttered.

"Eh?!" Shizune mutterd in shock of what Hunter just said.

"EEEEEHHH!?" everyone else exclaimed in shock.

"That's right!" Hunter confirmed rather arrogantly.

"Hold on a minute Hunter!" Shizune spoke, "You can't just order him around right off the bat!" she exclaimed, "He just got here and he still needs to recover from that ordeal he went through with the blue hand!" she stated while trying to reason with him.

Hunter just scoffed and turned his back at them, "I'm the leader of this team and whatever I say goes!" he said which earned him disapproving looks from everyone, "And besides, he said he's a very powerful mage, so why don't you use your hocus pocus magic to make you errands easier, so chop, chop!" he ordered with a wave without even turning to the exceed which earned him a glare from everyone but most of all Shizune because she just got herself her very own Exceed partner and now Hunter's ordering him around as if he were just a rookie.

Before anyone could give a piece of their minds to him, "Oh, really...?" Cal questioned with his eyes shadowed while Hunter still having his back turned to him, "Well then..." he trailed off with the exceed started to glow white, much to everyone's surprise including Shizune except for one.

Hunter turned around to see the glowing exceed, "What the!?" he exclaimed while everyone watched as the cowboy exceed began to grow and change form.

"How about I show you what magic powers I'm capable of?!" Cal declared before he stopped glowing, revealing his new form.

Cal now took the form of a nekomata with the appearance of a young teenage boy about 15 years old and as tall as Shizune with short spiky navy blue hair with white streaks, slim and strong build, fair skin, a pair of navy blue and white tipped cat ears on top of his head, a navy blue and white tipped cat tail on his bottom and purple eyes. He's clad in the same clothes he wears in his Exceed form with his shirt's sleeves rolled up until his elbows and in addition, he wears a pair of brown fingerless gloves and a pair of spurs attached to his cowboy boots.

Everyone was surprised and astonished at Cal's new form while Hunter gawked at Cal in surprise.

Cal raised his arms up as a magic circle appeared, "Requip!" he called out before summoning what looked like a Colt 1874 Gatling Gun mounted on a tripod with lacrima orbs at the top replacing the magazine, "Magic Gatling Cannon!" he announced.

"WOOOOOoAAAHH!" everyone exclaimed in awe and astonishment at Cal's new form and the weapon he had in hand, "So cool!" Luna complimented.

Hunter slowly walks backwards while feeling nervous at the same time, Cal then held the crank of the gatling gun as the barrels started to glow green. "Guns Magic: Bullet Storm!" he shouted and just like that, Hunter started running away in fright while he was trying to dodge a barrage of magic bullets aimed at him, "YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAWWWW!" Cal exclaimed as he continued to crank his magic gatling cannon at Hunter.

Everyone watching were either laughing their heads off or filming with their tablets.

"Eeyep! He's one of us alright!" Luna mused with a grin.

"Yeah, that's right! You better run!" Cal shouted while continuing his barrage, "And the next time ya think about spatting out orders and dis my magic, this'll be what's waitin for ya!" he threatened.

Shizune just looked at Cal in awe and amazement, "Wow~! I just got myself an amazing partner!" she thought in excitement.
