Chaos ensues at Baseball Kingdom when the Alone looms over them, causing it's citizens to run around in panic. Despite their initial shock, the Heart Foundation steeled themselves and charges towards the gigantic threat while Karasu remains impassive.

It is another fine day in Neo-City as we head towards the training camp, we then see Hector Vanguard Jr. walking outside when he comes across Marcus "The Kane" McGee, Eddy Skipper McGee and Andres "Singko" Alvarez sitting on a bench with the blue-haired leader of the New Age Avengers had his hands on his face.

Hector then approaches them, "Hey guys!" he greeted, "What's up with Marcus?'' he asked.

Eddy turns to him, "Well... let's just say that he's not thrilled with his roommates at the moment." he answered with a blank look. He is currently wearing a red & black T-shirt, yellow pants and red sneakers with a purple scarf wrapped around his neck.

"What do you mean? Who are his roommates again?" Hector questioned.

"Turns out that he's sharing a room with three girls, Malvina, Sylvia and Raya." Andres answered.

Hector raised an eyebrow, "Seriously? That's it, Marcus?" he questioned in disbelief, "There are other guys out there sharing a room with three girls as well and you don't hear them complaining." he chastised.

"That's because they're degenerates and motherfuckers!" Eddy pointed out, "And they don't have two girls eyeing on you like a piece of meat in your sleep." he added.

"The hell is Malvina and Raya even thinking..." Marcus grumbled in annoyance. Marcus is currently wearing blue t-shirt with Flash Symbol over a white long-sleeve shirt, black pants and yellow & black high kicks.

"Do I even wanna know?" Hector asked.

Andres shook his head, "For the sake of your sanity, it's better that you don't know." he replied.

Then suddenly the Spy approaches them, "Greetings gentlemen!" he greeted.

"Hello, Mister Spy." Hector greeted back, "Do you need anything?" he asked.

Spy shook his head, "Nothing much." he replied, "I came here to tell you that an assembly is about to start in a few minutes, so I suggest the four of you make you're way to the auditorium before it starts." he instructed.

Hector nodded, "Roger! Thank you, Mister Spy." he complied in gratitude as the balaclava-wearing mercenary left before turning to the guys, "I think we should get going." he beckoned.

Andres nodded before getting up, "I wonder what's the assembly all about. " he thought out loud.

"Whatever it is, it's better be important." Eddy muttered in annoyance before grabbing Marcus by the collar, "Let's go, Harem Prince." he beckoned while dragging his adopted brother.

"Fuck you Eddy." Marcus grumbled.

The four boys then arrives at the auditorium located somewhere inside the Training Camp and is greeted by the sight of numerous trainees and heroes gathered around the place, some are standing on the floor while some are sitting on the bleachers, in the middle of the area they see a stage with a few coaches and staffs standing on it. Marcus and Eddy made their way towards to the right side of the area while Andres and Hector went to the left side where they came across members of The Hunting Team and Team Idolo.

Fortunately for them, Hunter Isaac Rey is nowhere to be see.

"Sup guys!" Hector greeted.

"Hey, Junior, Singko!" Luna Loud greeted back, "Do you have any idea why Malvina's smile is over the top?" she asked while jabbing her thumb at Malvina Rasputin whom's smile can blind others by it's sheer brightness while Alla Yuliya covered her face out of embarrassment.

Hector deadpanned, "I think I know." he claimed before looking around and noticed that The Hunting Team are missing some people, "I don't wanna know where the hell Hunter is right now but I do wanna know where Lunette is?" he questioned.

"She's currently with a fellow Remnant citizen." Tsunayoshi Sawada answered.

"Really?" Hector replied in surprise.

Meanwhile, we see Eddy and Marcus making their way towards the rest when they comes across, Lunette Yaeger with Ashley Plutia Iris Heart sleeping on her lap on the lower parts of the bleachers.

"Hey, Lune-chii." Marcus greeted, "Who's the sleepy head?" he asked referring to the woman sleeping on the fox faunus' lap because he and Eddy hasn't met Ashley yet.

Lunette let's out a sigh, "This is Ashley Plutia Iris Heart, she's a local huntress and a graduate from Beacon Academy, I met her several times back in Remnant." she introduced.

"Really? That's nice but why is she asleep, I mean we had an assembly going in about a minute." Eddy pointed out while looking at his watch.

"She's said she's going to take a nap... it turn into a full-blown slumber." Lunette grumbled in annoyance.

"Why not wake her up?" Marcus asked.

"That's a good idea, Marcus." Lunette accepted, "But there's one problem... this woman is HARD to wake up!" she exclaimed, "No matter what you do, even you shout or create any kind of noise, she won't wake up no matter what!" she complained.

The brothers flinched at that, "Yeowch! That's quite a problem." Eddy commented.

After that, the brothers left Lunette with the sleeping huntress, the two made their way to their team as the Major Richard Stronghold got on stage.

"ATTENTION PLEASE! MAY WE HAVE YOU'RE ATTENTION PLEASE!" the Major called out with his booming voice getting everyone's attention, "WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY BECAUSE WE HAD A VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!" he announced before turning to Eddward "Edd, Double D" Marion Smith whom nodded in response.

"Due to the success from the previous missions of the teams, such as those with the New Age Avengers and Team Redemption, the Coalitions decided to finally form a new team!" Double D announced with everyone cheering in response, "That's right! A new team is going to be formed today!" he confirmed.

"Finally!" Chad Mordetzky exclaimed while raising his fist.

Raya Amanda smirked, "I've been waiting for this." she mused.

Wesley Bryans clasped his hands together, "Please pick me! Please pick me!" he whispered in a prayer while Jacques Paulsen stares at him in disbelief.

Jaune Arc crosses his arms, "Welp! It can be anyone." he declared.

"AND WITHOUT FURTHER ADO! LET'S ANNOUNCED THE NEW TEAM!" the Major begun.

"If you're name is called, please make your way to the stage." Penelope von Steiner advised.

The Scout then stepped forward, "All right losers! First off is the one of the most powerful swordsman from a warring-states era... Chad Mordetzky!" he called out as the girls began to cheer wildly.

"Thank you very much!" Chad cheered while sending kisses to the crowd especially to his fangirls while making his way to the stage.

Joanna Dark then steps forward, "The next in our list is the "Fashion Gunner" herself... Raya Amanda!" she announced.

Raya let out a smirk, "Glad to be part of this team." she declared before making her way to the stage with her head held high, hips swinging and heels clicking.

"Wow! She really knows how to own the moment." Adagio Dazzle commented from the higher parts of the bleachers alongside with Precious Dazzle and Trixie Lulamoon.

"Them hips." Yosuke Hanamura pointed out which earned him a tabloid on the back of the head courtesy of Chie Satonaka.

Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke then steps forward, "Next up is our very own Flemish Noble... Sylvia Van Hossen!" she announced.

Sylvia smiled before making her way to the stage, being a noble knight that she is, she gave everyone a small bow of respect.

"Congrats Sylvia! You're mom will be proud of you!" Marcus shouted from the crowd, Sylvia blushed in response but let's out a smile.

The Heavy then steps forward, "Heavy is glad to announce that you're joining this team... Laura Bodewig!" he called out.

Laura was stunned when her name was called, "M-me?" she questioned while pointing a finger to herself while Ichika Orimura pats her back.

"Go!" Ichika beckoned with a smile.

"Congrats, Laura!" Charlotte complimented in joy.

Laura smiled back, "Hai!" she replied before running towards the stage.

The Spy then made himself visible to everyone, "Now! The next member is a proud opera singer... Miss Squigly and Leviathan!" he announced.

Everyone gave Squigly an applause while making her way to the stage. Meanwhile, Wesley is cheering for her like crazy, "Woo-hoo! Squigly! Yeah!" he cheered which made her blush but smiled nonetheless.

The Soldier then steps forward, "You're long wait is over! Cause the next member is none other than you... Wesley Bryans!" he announced.

"Yay! Wesley! Wait a minute?" Wesley cheered before coming into realization with everyone bursting into loud cheers, "Yeah! Finally! Finally!" he cheered loudly while receiving several high fives and hugs from his fellow trainees, "Woohoo-hoo-hoo!" he cheered while running around the stage before making his way up to the stage, giving high fives and fist bumps with his teammates before he and Squigly shared a quick hug.

"Go Hermano! You deserve it!" Andres cheered completely happy for his friend.

Then the Scotsman steps forward, "The next member of these team, a blacksmith and knight duo... Luke Ainsworth and Cecily Campbell!" he announced with everyone cheering in response.

At the crowed, two figures - a teenage boy and teenage girl - to be exact, were taken a back when their names were called... well, the girl actually.

The teenage boy has a messy brown hair with a waist-long ponytail and has a blue-colored mismatched eyes with his left eye fake. He wears a long-sleeved white shirt with a frilled collar & cuffs, a blue ribbon tied around his neck and a black cape attached on his left shoulder, blue baggy pants with brown holster belt with a pouch, silver-colored armored boots and a single black glove on his left hand. This is Luke Ainsworth.

The teenage girl is extremely well endowed and has an impressive figure. She has a short bobcut red hair and has red eyes. She wears a black leotard with a white detached collar underneath gray-colored chestplate with yellow lines and brown straps, white ruffled skirt with yellow trims and brown thin belt, a white cape on her right shoulder and a silver bracer on her left shoulder, light-brown detached sleeves with brown folds and brown gloves. She wears a black thigh-high socks with brown folds, light-brown baggy socks, silver-colored footwear and a white crown-like headband. This is Cecily Campbell.

"Yata! We're in a team!" Cecily cheered.

"I see." Luke muttered.

"Come on, Luke! At least be ecstatic about it!" Luke beckoned.

"I am ecstatic about it." Luke replied with a blank expression.

"That doesn't look like one." Cecily pointed out.

"GET ON STAGE, YOU TWO!" Roy exclaimed in annoyance.

As Luke and Cecily made their way on stage, the Sniper then steps forward, "Next up is the Canterlot High School's Top Eco-Kid... Sandalwood!" he announced.

"Cool! Brah!" Sandalwood cheered standing up before sharing a fist bump with Flash Sentry and Kafuu and then making his way to the stage where he shared a quick hug with Laura.

Erika Yaeger then stepped forward, "Next up is the "Angel of Death"... Maya Sparrow!" she announced with everyone cheering in response.

Maya nodded before flying her way towards the stage and then landing next to Chad whom she shared a small smile with.

The Major then steps forward while rubbing the back of his head, "THIS IS A LITTLE EMBARRASSING FOR ME... OH, WELL... I'M PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE NEXT MEMBER OF THIS TEAM IS NONE OTHER THAN MY DAUGHTER... KARIZZA STRONGHOLD!" he announced.

Upon hearing her name, Karizza made a big smile, "Really? Yippee! I did! I did!" she cheered before hugging Marcus, much to Malvina's ire and Alla's worry because she's sitting right next to the pale girl.

Marcus patted her head, "Congratulations! Now go up there and make everyone proud!" he beckoned with a smile.

Karizza smiled back, "Yay!" she replied before floating her way to the stage, giving her father a hug and then floating next to Maya giving her a hug, much to the winged girl's dismay.

Louie then steps forward, "And last but not the least... the final member and the leader of this team... one of the most promising talent ever, a former Rune Knight... Darren Cross!" he announced.

And with the guys in auditorium roared in cheers while girls would simply clap for him for obvious reasons, Darren was showered by cheers, fist bumps and noogies, Rex Salazar even opened a bottle of champagne and pour it over his head as they celebrate Darren's leadership position like they've won a soccer game.

"What's up with this? They're celebrating like they won a soccer game!?" Xyrielle "XY Girl" Yona muttered indecorously.

"Everyone is just happy that Darren is getting the recognition he deserves, so leave them be." Yoshika Miyafuji advised.

Darren then made his way on stage, all the while getting showered by several drinks from the guys and as he got on stage, Louie offers him a handshake, "Congratulations young man, you deserve this." he complimented with a smile.

Darren accepted his handshake, "Thank you sire! I promise, I will do my very best to lead this team! You entrusted with this position and I'll do everything to prove that I earn it!" he declared.

Louie smiled back, "You already did." he replied, "So... what would be the name of your team?" he questioned.

Darren thought about it, "How about Cross Guards?" he suggested.

Chad nodded, "That's sounds nice, I like it!" he accepted.

"No problem there." Raya said while tipping down her sunglasses.

"It's a cool name! Let's go with that!" Karizza cheered in glee.

Louie nodded, "Well then... to this day forward, you are now known as the Cross Guards!" he declared with everyone once again bursting into cheers.

Marcus and the rest then circles the stage and began to shower then with various drinks and the new team doesn't mind as they are savoring every bit of the crowning moment everyone is giving to them.

"Hooray for the pervert of a leader!" Marcus cheered.

"Oi! I told you it was an accident!" Darren exclaimed with everyone bursting into laughter.

Meanwhile, Mario Martinez watches everyone from the auditorium's entrance door with a smile on his face.

Bzzzttt...

Later that evening somewhere in the Dormitory Village, we see Marcus and Darren having a conversation and after few fist bumps and bro hugs, the two separate ways with Marcus walking outside the streets while looking over the sea of stars.

"Cross Guards, huh?" Marcus mused, "A fitting name and I bet Darren is gonna be a better leader than Hunter." he stated with a smile when suddenly a pink portal appears below his feet, "What the? Oh shit!" he cursed when he realized what the portal is, "Fuck! A stray portal! Aaaaa-" he exclaimed and tried to scream only for the portal to pulls him into who knows where.
