Not that while this is Chapter 32, I'm working on Chapter 43 of Doom & Rebirth and have completed the First Season (7 chapters over 20K words each) of new story – Nemo of the Myriad Worlds. Friday, April 15, 2016 - Cognito officially opened the Space Bridges to the human-descent worlds and Earth lost its mind. The fact that extraterrestrials abducted humans from Earth and that there are now colonies of metahumans across the galaxy shook the believes of people.

Monday, April 18, 2016 – Daniya has developed a love of magical girl anime. Thankfully she enjoys the magical girl warrior subgenre, so it's tolerable. I enjoy watching Nanoha as it's basically sci-fi mecha reimagined as kickass magical girls. I have to be careful with our selections as there are some magical girls series that are dark.

Tuesday, April 19, 2016 – Daniya is very clever and ended up watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She asked if Uncle Neo could wipe out the Incubators and I worry my genocidal tendencies are rubbing off on her. Then again, she should be cautious about mysterious creatures offering powers. My black-skinned counterpart Obsidian may have slaughtered Hell, but there are still demons, creatures of chaos, and meddling extraterrestrials.

Friday, April 22, 2016 – The Universe is a Twisted SOB. During a trip to an amusement park, we were attacked by MASCOTS. These creatures had cute soft shells, but where horrific monstrosities at the core. Thankfully, I portal'd Daniya back home after the first kid got consumed, so she didn't see the gruesome massacre that followed, both of the mascots tearing apart humans and me tearing them to pieces.

Mascot animals as Horror creatures is not a new concept in fiction. Franken Fran had artificial creatures created to be amusement park mascots only for a parasitic infection to make them murderous. In Pygmalion, humans were transformed into man-eating monsters. In Gleipnir, the male protagonist becomes a living costume to fight monsters, often piloted by the female protagonist. In Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, the monsters Disas looked like cute animal mascots but were cruel murderous monsters who slaughtered humans. There are also the soul-empowered robotic mascots of Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) franchise.

Rorschach offered to help, but after these guys interrupted our time at the amusement park, I want to do this myself. I haven't been to many amusement parks or carnivals in my life, but me and Daniya were enjoying our time. Even Hakudōshi was enjoying amassing a collection of prizes, then these rejects showed up.

The Party Gamer analysis reveals the background of my enemies.

The owner of this place was a costume designer who suffered a series of tragedies and failures that turned him into a warped person. The lunatic decided to take revenge on all those who wronged him by delving into dark magic. He created living costumes and fed kidnapped people to them to create monsters. It reminds me of the Covers from Kill la Kill – living clothing that uses humans are fuel sources.

The first to attack me is a giant teddy bear with a loud roar sounding like a real bear distorted through electronics. Normally, a three-meter-tall Teddy Bear with goofy big eyes, round limbs and soft brown fur would be cute and harmless. This Teddy Bear has organic black eyes, a wide maw-like mouth filled with rows upon rows of sharp teeth, and long sharp black claws on its massive paws. It jumps at me and delivers a paw strike that would shatter the bones of a normal human into powder.

I catch the paw and squeeze. Its roaring of rage turns into roars of pain and panic as bone breaks beneath my fingers. It tries to pull away, but my grip is stronger than anything born on Earth. I then pull the Teddy close and punch a hole through it. Its insides are not soft, fluffy cotton, and it collapses to the ground dead.

A seven-foot anthropomorphic white rabbit (not including the ears) in pink overhauls jumps out holding a Tommy gun and opens fire. Gotham is always one for the classic weapons.

I once asked Rorschach why criminals in Gotham and Blüdhaven often use outdated (classic) weapons like the 1920s Thompson submachine gun when not using advance weapons or villain gadgets. He said there is a Firearms Historical Society in Gotham whose founding members were members of organized crime. Originally a front for smuggling weapons, they grew into a legit group. Criminal members tend to showcase these classic weapons when committing crimes. Weird trivia.

The rabbit's gun clicks as it runs out of ammo and steps back in fear. It should be scared. The ground is littered with deformed bullet fragments and I don't have a scratch. I can see its eyes widen in horror as I transform into my full 2.5-meter-tall monstrous form. I release my flame breath and the rabbit screams as fur and "skin" ignites.

"If I wanted to waste more time, I would do like my grandfather and skin you!"

As I walk into the factory, I release my aura of murderous intent and I can hear the cries of terror. I can imagine their animal instincts are screaming at them to run and only the dark magic is leashing them. I can imagine them; they feel like they are drowning at the bottom of a dark ocean facing the biggest and most ferocious shark in the world.

There is a loud crashing sound and I see an anthropomorphic cartoony pig dressed in a facsimile of an old fashion police uniform run out of the building in a panic. It's squealing in fear, tears streaming from its piggy eyes. It even tosses its comically oversize gun behind it to indicate it doesn't want to fight. All it wants to do is run from the grey monster. The taste of fear in the air warms my nonexistent heart.

The Pig Cop collapses before it can escape the Factory grounds. Its body rapidly swells; its stretched pink skin turns a dark red purple as it squeals in pain. Finally, the Pig Cop explodes like an over filled water balloon. The meat is liquified to the point it resembles pasta sauce and even the bones are powder. It's clearly a warning from their crazy master – fight or die.

The horde of mascots charged at me in desperation. There must be at least a thousand of them ranging from furry mammals you would see at a Furry convention to rainbow-feather-covered birds to neon green alligators to a large bee that looks like a cereal mascot. They are armed with everything from claws to guns to improvised weapons like crowbars and chains.

I could wipe them all out quickly with my Doom Vision, but I don't for two reasons. I don't want to be a pathetic boring bully like Homelander and my inner monster is demanding blood. I form two bone blades and charge resisting to shout "Blood for the Blood God. Skulls for the Skull Throne." With my luck, the Chaos God Khorne and the Armies of Chaos Undivided would show up!

Deep within my existence, the Tree of Death sings. I can feel Archetypes of Thaumiel light up.

A monkey soldier and dog dressed asa security guard are torn to pieces.

The martial arts I stole from my opponents (and allies) serve me well as I kill foe after foe.

I can feel the terror of my opponents and delight in their destruction. Part of me wishes I could dominate them, crush all hope in their miserable souls.

As the last one dies, I can see the souls of the dead. These were the souls of people used to fuel the mascot monsters. They were painfully devoured by dark magic and forcibly incarnated as inhuman creatures; a fate worse than death. Now these souls flow into me, using my body as gateway to the afterlife. They don't fear the darkness, as all things came from the darkness and all things will eventually return to the darkness

[Minutes Later]

Ten minutes later, I'm soaked, and my enemies are all in pieces.

The master of my deceased enemies, the costume designer, is on the ground trembling in fear. He's an elderly man with brown eyes behind old fashion glasses, pale skin, and balding gray hair. He's dressed in a white work shirt with black pants with suspenders, and polished black shoes. He doesn't look like a supervillain who murdered hundreds, instead he looks like an old accountant and the worst he would do is cheat on taxes.

The only unique thing about him is a strange amulet around his neck which he's holding white knuckled like it's his lifeline. It's a red gemstone on a gold chain, but what makes it strange (other than it being around the neck of a nobody) is it looks Brand New. It doesn't look like a relic of some magical family; it looks like someone made it recently with modern tech and it looks dumb enough to be found in a Dollar Store.

"Help me! Help Me! Kalimuxan!" yells the old man in a panic.

The red stone glows bright white and a dark red mist pours from gemstone. It forms a thick cloud that coalesces into a humanoid shape, and finally a demon appears. It's a standard looking demon, as I can judge from my time in Hell. He's two meters tall (six foot seven) with a lean muscular build and a fierce face. He has glowing yellow eyes with black sclera, dark red skin with black tattoo-like markings on his arms and the side of chest, and short black hair with a goatee. He has sharp pointed teeth, bull horns, bull ears, sharp black claws, and long black fur on his forearms and lower legs. He also has large bat-like wings and a long tail ending in barbed tip. He's dressed in black leather shorts and an open vest, with gold jewelry around his neck.

Kalimuxan slaps his summoner across the face and the crack of bone is audible.

"You fool! I told you not to summon me! I gave you the power to make monsters, but you were supposed to keep my amulet hidden." yells the Demon, as the old man lies on the ground unable to move, "I escaped the Hell and the Black Beast! I won't be ruined by a fool!"

Kalimuxan's amulet appears around his neck, and he attempts to fly away, but I move fast. I grab him by a wing as he's leaping into the air and fling back to the ground, ripping off the wing in the process. The Demon stares at me in fear as he tries to numb the pain.

"So, you escaped my darker half?" I say to the demon, "Guess he didn't care about weaklings."

The demon claps its blood-stained hands and as he spreads them, a glowing red magical circle forms in the air. Pitch black smoke erupts from the magic circle, like water from a firehose. The entire factory grounds are covered in a dome of complete darkness and in that darkness, I can see thousands of fiery, red-eyed demons flying around me, shrieking and roaring at me.

I can imagine this would be terrifying for most people, but I know it's as fake as Scarecrow's toxin-inducted hallucinations. I am an embodiment of darkness and can sense the very essence of all demons due to the Qliphoth. I run forward in the pitch darkness, ignoring the fake demons which disperse against my body, and slash through the artificial night.

The dome of darkness disperses into nothing, and the real demon Kalimuxan collapses to the ground. As I walk towards the corpse, it begins to decay. Flesh and bone dissolve into red liquid that serves as its blood, then the pool of liquid evaporates into a vanishing red mist. I look down and scan with my senses.

"Nice Try."

I release a pulse of power and there is a loud bang. The amulet, now with spider legs and its gemstone shattered appears. The demon Kalimuxan hid its dark soul inside the amulet, while its body was destroyed. It must have used this tactic to escape Obsidian Black.

"You can come out now."

Nightwing and Batgirl emerge from the shadows.

"Dick and Barb. Haven't seen you guys in a while."

"Gotham without supervillains is Still Gotham" says Nightwing, "Wiping out more monsters, huh?"

"I would leave this shit to other people, but they attacked an amusement park and made my daughter cry."

"What about, Mr. Peterson?" asks Batgirl looking at the badly hurt old man.

"He's no threat. Without the demon, he's an incompetent weak elderly man. He doesn't even have much time left to live."

"I thought Cognito cured his cancer?" asks Batgirl, confused. They must have done a background check.

"They did, so he gets a couple more years of life. Cognito doesn't offer life extensions or clone backups to those who sold their souls to demons; it's a very plainly written line item in impossible-to-misinterpret prose. We will still cure cancer and fatal diseases, but the thing is, messing with that demon shortened his already small remaining lifespan."

"You can see that?"

"Yup. If he had stayed away from demons, he could have spent his last twenty years in a Cognito Retirement Home and maybe got an extension. Instead, he is going to spend the last two months of his life in a Gotham hospital bed, withering away."

Green Lantern Training

Kilowog of Bolovax Vik is the Green Lantern of Sector 674. Kilowog was a geneticist and one of the Bolovaxians' most brilliant minds. Then he was chosen for the honor of becoming a Green Lantern and left his world of sixteen billion residents. Working as the legendary drill instructor of the Corp, there have been many times he missed his home world's communal mind. He never wanted to return more until he had to teach Earthlings.

Humans are a very emotional and adaptive race, who currently hold the record for most Green Lanterns from a single planet at the same time. This planet had a Green Lantern before the Lantern Corp even knew of Earth. The mystical Lantern Alan Scott is now a transcendent being building a relationship with his children and his daughter looks like she was Born to be a Lantern. Hal Jordan became the first official Lantern from Earth after the death of Abin Sur – one of the Corp's greatest. Then, John Stewart and Guy Gardener were chosen. After a magical event involving a Lord of Chaos, new rings were created and Earth gains new Green Lanterns in the form of Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, and even a small child - Keli Quintela. Normally, this ridiculous number of active Green Lanterns would be shipped to a training camp, but Earth also has a super genius who surpasses the Guardians – Doctor Genus. A super-genius which installed a distrust of the Oans in the new Lanterns and protects them.

What is even more crazy is those emotional, adaptive humans also have the capacity to produce Lanterns from *every* color of Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum. Even Atrocitus – leader of the Red Lanterns and sole remaining survivor of Sector 666 – has a pet/partner from Earth in the form of the earthling feline Red Lantern Dex-Starr.

The Lanterns of Earth have formed a group of their own, much to Kilowog's surprise. Chromia is the group of united Earth Lanterns under the command of Cognito Inc. Doctor Genus made it clear that Kilowog was only permitted to teach his lanterns and the "emotionally crippled blue leprechauns" had No Authority on Earth. Kilowog did do some research and learned that a small group of Maltusians had formed a colony in Ireland centuries ago and now live in the Fey lands as the "Leprechauns".

*DOOM*

Red Lantern Bai Li of Sector 2814 is a former soldier who would tear apart armies to protect his beloved daughter. He has a set of artificial limbs and can generate additional arms, which is why he's also known as Red Lantern Asura. He was the first Red Lantern to join the training program, even before Chromia's official formation. Atrocitus seems to approve of Earth Lanterns due to their dislike of the Oans and doesn't appear to be as murderous towards the "Rogue Lanterns" as he is towards The Corp.

The newest Red Lantern is a young man from Germany named Eren. After his parents were killed by criminals, he harbored a deep hatred in his heart. He attempted to become a police officer and take down the criminals, but psychologists worried he would end up killing criminals instead of arresting them.

For a time, he worked as a vigilante swinging around his city using a complex rig, but then his group encountered the crime organization's metahuman elite. It was a brutal massacre, but a mysterious ring fused with Eren and he became Earth's second Red Lantern. On that day, the German crime organization was annihilated, slaughtered in way that made the senior police officers throw up.

While Asura generates multiple arms of super strength, Eren generates huge arm constructs or even a giant humanoid body that acts as both armor and mech suit. These constructs have immense strength, can generate extreme heat, and move with speed and dexterity in defiance of the square cube law. This giant form has earned him the cape name of "Red Lantern: Titan".

*DOOM*

Asura's metal fists strike the face of the leader of the slavers. The leader's head violently explodes like Gallagher smashing watermelons with a sledgehammer. He then sprays red plasma from mouth on the slavers that were standing next to their former body, The destructive substance of the Red Lanterns is like a mixture of the most corrosive acid and hottest napalm, leaving very little in the way of remains. Those not incinerated are corrupted by rage causing them to slaughter each other.

"No one has the right to take the freedom of the innocent!"

Despite Asura's rage, the slavers – the victims and hostages of the slavers – are protected by opaque red energy barriers. They are not only protected from physical harm from slaver guns and blades, but the mental damage that would occur from witnessing the slaughter.

Within minutes, hundreds of heavily armed slavers are dead and Kilowog watches from the simulation control room looking a little stressed.

Ling Yao – Orange Lantern of Sector 2814 – is Earth's only Orange Lantern, but when it comes to Orange Lanterns all you need is one. The Orange Lantern can assimilate others, transforming them into constructs that function as members of the Orange Corp.

Cognito Inc was more than happy to find the most avaricious people to join Ling Yao's army and Ling gained two primary Agents.

The First Agent is a mercenary and member of the League of Shadows who was willing to kill anyone for enough money. It didn't matter the age, gender, or background of the target – he would kill a sadistic villain or an innocent baby. Originally a soldier with a gambling addiction, this mercenary was a student of Deathstroke with extensive military training. As an Orange Lantern construct, he has unlimited stamina and unlimited ammo.

The Second Agent is a computer expert and gaming genius. He was originally an orphaned child who saw his way out of poverty when a large company CEO visited the orphanage. The CEO was famous for his chess skill and the boy manipulated him into playing against him with the boy getting adopted if he won. Originally, he was just the extra child meant to challenge the CEO's biological son, but then the CEO's real son died. That boy eventually grew into a man who stole the company from his father causing the man's suicide. He could have continued to make millions with his company, but his greed led to the fall of him and his company. As an Orange Lantern construct, he can manipulate technology and create lesser constructs based on various games.

What Kilowog finds stranger is Ling Yao has a group of friends watching him train. You think being an extremely greedy person would have few friends because of the general lack of generosity and often lack of honesty that comes with greed. Instead, Ling is a very honest person who treasures his friends to the point where his loyalty is absolute.

His friends are Animal-based Metahumans that are studying/working at the META Academy. A master swordsman with canine mimicry, a former military engineer with bovine traits, a soldier girl with a snake's flexibility, and a former snitch with chameleon traits.

When Rorschach and Ash Grey saw this group, they got a strange look and turned to each other, indicating they were both thinking the same thing.

*DOOM*

A group of "terrorists" have taken employees of a major business building hostage and are planning on stealing millions and killing the hostages to make their escape. There is no Bruce Willis character to save the day while getting a thousand bloody cuts, so it's up to Orange Lantern Ling Yao.

Ling's methods are somewhat unique. He doesn't simply kill the terrorists, while rescuing the hostages in the process. Instead, he also manipulates some of the criminals with his charisma and the power of the Ring into surrendering peacefully.

When Ling finally reaches the boss of the terrorists, he's holding a young woman hostage with a gun to her head. Ling drops his orange aura as a show of trust, but the boss shoots at him. The bullets bounce off an invisible shield as Ling isn't dumb enough to drop all of his defenses against an armed criminal. When the boss goes to point the gun back at the hostage, he finds she is covered by a transparent skin-tight barrier construct.

"My dear, why don't you show your appreciation for Mr. G's hospitality?"

The former hostage twists around and delivers a punch covered by the steel-hard protective aura directly to the boss's face. The man tumbles back with a shattered nose and falls out the broken window behind him. Ling and the woman watch as the criminal falls a fairly large height and goes splat as he hits the concrete.

In the Simulation control room, Ling's friends are cheering at Ling being a late-80s action star. Kilowog isn't cheering, instead he's drinking Cognito Coffee blended especially for his Bolovaxian physiology and taste. He's been drinking a lot of Cognito Coffee since he came to Earth.

Reyes – Sinestro Lantern of 2814 – is also known as the supernatural bounty hunter known as the Ghost Rider. When Hell was converted from its original state to its current state by Obsidian Black – The Black Beast, many damned souls escaped into the material world and Reyes was given the task of hunting them down. When not using his supernatural powers to hunt supernatural foes, he uses the Yellow Power Ring to imitate the form to hunt criminals.

The leader of the Yellow Light Lanterns - Sinestro learned of the Earth Lantern and wasn't happy with a yellow lantern not fully under his command, but at the same time he gained respect for the Ghost Rider's ruthlessness and ability to inspire fear even in the dead. They came to an agreement and the Sinestro Corp leaves 2814 to its own lanterns.

The newest Sinestro Lantern is Kurumi of Sector 2814, known as "The Time Princess". She looks like a beautiful eighteen-year-old girl standing 157 cm. She has black hair and Heterochromia eyes – one red and one gold with a clock pattern. She's dressed as a frilly Gothic Lolita in black and red, which shifts to black and gold when she uses her powers. Kurumi looks sweet, but she is a cruel, brutal fighter. She also has a unique ability to manipulate time – accelerating her movements and healing, slowing her targets and projectiles, creating temporal copies, and even a "time stop".

It's theorized Cognito's Time-Locks and Quantum Time-Locks (also known as fixed points in time) prevent her from time travelling into the far past, but she can travel up to twenty-four hours into the past and create stable time loops. In one strange case, she was fighting a difficult opponent, when the opponent was attacked from behind by her future self. They double-teamed him with the future saying he was destined to lose because she had already fought the battle.

Even Kilowog is intimidated by Kurumi as during an ultra-realistic Cognito simulation – she brutally killed over ten thousand people without mercy and there is No indication she wouldn't do the same to real people if she was given the order. He is happy she is a member of Chromia instead of being Sinestro's "Dragon".

A group of heavily armed soldiers are transporting prisoners to an execution site. Inside the black transport trucks, each soldier is dressed in black armor with strength-boosting exoskeletons built into them. They are armed with combat rifles and handguns with biometric locks to prevent them from being stolen by a prisoner. They also have devices to trigger the shock devices in the collars of the prisoners.

Inside the black transport trucks, prisoners dressed in orange are handcuffed with rigid bar instead of chains linking the bands. There is also a full harness combo which is a belt of chain connected to the handcuff bar and leg shackles. These restraints are designed to only be released by an electronic device at the arrival site and can't be lockpicked. The collars around their necks can deliver painful shocks and will explode if the prisoners get too far from their masters.

The trucks stop when they see a Gothic Lolita standing in the middle of the road with an open umbrella. Some of the soldiers jump out and point their rifles at the girl, laser fixed on her chest and head, while others search to make sure it isn't an ambush. They shout at her, yelling orders. Kurumi doesn't follow those orders, instead she smiles.

Then the universe seems to glitch like someone skipping footage on film. One moment, Kurumi is standing in front of the trucks with her open umbrella, next she is behind the trucks without her umbrella. One moment the prisoners are secure inside the transport trucks; next they are behind the trucks minus the restraints and explosive shock collars. One moment the soldiers are about to fire on the Gothic Lolita, the next they are all simultaneously shot dead by bullets that appear in front of them. The leader of the soldiers is the only one who isn't shot when time "skips", instead his helmet is removed and he now has a very familiar umbrella shoved down his throat.

Kurumi holds up the commander's helmet, examining it as the man's superiors shout on the radios, demanding to know the situation. She then casually tosses the helmet away.

Kilowog watches from simulation control room and then looks down at his cup. He's going to need more coffee.

Kilowog always knew Earth has the potential to produce amazing Green Lanterns, but the newest Green Lantern is as the human's say "Completely Broken!"

Simon Miner of Sector 2814 is a tall, very muscular man standing over six feet. He's a handsome man with deep indigo eyes, dark tan skin, and messy dark blue hair. He's dressed in goggles, jeans, and boots with numerous belts. He also wears a long, navy-blue trench coat with gold studs and a necklace with a gold-color drill bit. When he first arrived, he was also carrying a spear with a spiral drill tip for a spearhead.

When Simon activated his Green Lantern Ring, Kilowog thought he would go blind from the amount of light generated. Briefly, it was as if Simon became a fiery silhouette composed completely of willpower.

Simon's willpower is so strong his ring can't accurately measure it. He also tends to create constructs in the form of powerful mecha (giant pilotable robots) and attacks with giant drills that can pierce damn near everything.

When Kilowog asked Simon to generate the biggest construct he could, he didn't see anything except a Simon glowing brightly for a minute. Then Doctor Genus transmitted to him an image of a giant flaming green mecha. Then it showed the scale of the mecha using Earth as a reference.

When Kilowog asked Doctor Genus where they got this guy, he responded "Studio Gainax".

The Blue Lantern power rings are charged by the emotion "hope," and they greatly increase the strength of any nearby Green Lanterns. They are also considered the healers of the Spectrum. Blue Lanterns can use the ring to repair bodily damage within themselves or others even mending severe wounds either recent or settled in, including regenerating recently lost limbs.

Blue Lantern Lian Li of Sector 2814 also known as "Blue Lotus" is the daughter of Red Lantern Asura. When she younger, she was kidnapped by greedy men who wanted to use her healing/empowerment power. She never gave up Hope and her father ripped apart an army to save his daughter. Eventually, a mysterious Blue Power Ring found her, and she became one of the most powerful healers in the universe. Her father will make sure she is never exploited for her ability.

While most Blue Lanterns can regenerate a person's limb, Lian can regenerate all damage on an ultimate scale, beyond logical possibility. Only those killed by removal of soul, essence or temporal erasure remain dead. As long as the soul of a person is present and something of the body remains, hope remains eternal to the Blue Lotus.

Blue Lantern Jiro Kamado of Sector 2814, also known as "Blue Blade" was the sole provider for his poor family, a man known for hard work, honesty, and kindness to all those who met him. His life changed when a seal on an ancient demon broke, and the demon possessed his little sister. While others gave up hope, he never did and eventually he drew the demon out of his sister into himself to cure her. A Blue Ring found Jiro and exorcized the demon, destroying it completely.

The spirits of the dead, most of them samurai, were grateful to the young hero and granted him all their skills. All that samurai knowledge granted him to manifest a blade of blue energy, a blade that doesn't physically cut, but instead severs excess emotion from the mind/spirit. A blade whose cuts calm the target and release negative energies from their bodies. Emotional living humans fall unconscious from the attack, but ghosts are released from their bonds to the material world, and demons and curses are destroyed by the loss of their negative energy.

The small Japanese house shift as supernatural roars shakes the air. The beasts resemble humans but stretched to inhuman proportions with stretched faces showing sharp teeth, long limbs, and claw-like fingers. The bodies are clad into phantom white and have long ink-black hair that moves like dark tentacles.

Centuries ago, the sword of wandering ronin was stolen by a poor couple who hid the blade beneath their house. The ronin was unable to defend himself when the authorities came to arrest him for his crimes and cursed his blade upon his death. Those that died in the house became trapped by sword's curse and became corrupt beings that would cause more misfortune and death.

Kilowog was never a big believer in ghosts and curses until he came to Earth. He wonders how Cognito was able to find a real haunted building to test his students. Also, by some weird fate, they arrived to find the new owners/tenants injured from the rampaging spirits.

As Lian heals the victims of their injuries and protects them with energy barriers. Jiro draws his sword. He looks towards the supernatural beings without fear or anger, instead with hope and compassion. He breathes releasing steam into the supernaturally cold air and then moves. His movements are superhuman, but not the brute force of a raw superpower. Instead, these are movements of someone trained to the point of surpassing human limits. The blade moves with quick fluid movements, imitating the flow of water and the blue energy creates glowing streams in the air.

In the blink of an eye, the blade has slashed through the spirits and their movements have stopped. Dark particles burst from the glowing white cuts like water from a sliced pipe. The blue-white glow spreads from the cuts to cover their twisted forms. The spirits wail, but their wails turn into cries of relief. The atmosphere in the room around them changes as heat returns to the air and the spirits glow a soft light. The glowing forms morph into normal-shaped human ghosts, which smile in relief before fading from the world. You can hear a faint whisper of "arigatou" (thank you) as they fade.

"Rest in peace, free of pain and sorrow." says the swordsman as he sheaths his sword.

Deep in the Earth beneath the house, the sword of the Ronin releases particles of blue light before crumbling to dust.

The Newest member of the Indigo Tribe is Vanessa Sky of Sector 2814, also known as "Fluttershy" of the Rainbooms. A slim young woman with aqua blue eyes, light skin, and long flowing pale pink hair. She is an extremely kind, gentle, and soft-spoken woman who possesses the magical ability to communicate with all animals. When she gained the Indigo Ring, she gained omniligualism to speak to all sentient beings including beings that had no concept of a spoken language such as those who spoke with lights of ocean aliens, telepathy of deep space aliens, or radio signals of machine lifeforms.

Fluttershy's own healing is superior to Indigo Tribe and similar to Blue Lantern healing abilities. She can heal and augment any living being she can communicate with, which includes most animals, intelligent plants, intelligent fungi, elementals, and even mechanical life. The last one even has Doctor Genus stumped beyond it being Magic.

Fluttershy has become very popular online. She is already considered one of the kindest of the new heroes. There is even a video online of her glaring down at a bunch of criminals and then talking to them until they broke down crying, apologized to the store owner they robbed, and willingly surrendered to the police. Fans say that it's heroines like her that prove corporate heroes can be kind and merciful, and that Rorschach only eliminated the truly irredeemable.

The other member of the Indigo Tribe is far stranger. He looks like an anthropomorphic cephalopod. The people of Cognito Inc and Meta Academy don't know if he's a mutated metahuman or an unknown extraterrestrial or a magical construct or a Lovecraftian Outer God. The strange yellow creature appeared with a desire to teach and after a private discussion with Doctor Genus, ended up becoming a language teacher at a META Academy. He also gained the name "Koro" from a Japanese student.

Less than a month ago, the Indigo Power Ring found him, and he joined Fluttershy as an Indigo Lantern. Koro becoming the Indigo Tribe is both terrifying and relaxing at the same time. Koro was already powerful without the ring with an elastic strong body, insane regenerative abilities, and the ability to move at massively hypersonic speeds, and now he had a Power Ring. At the same time, Fluttershy indicated he got the ring because of his compassionate heart, and nobody argues with Fluttershy.

Dog fighting is a type of blood sport that turns game dogs against one another in a ring or a pit for the purposes of gambling or the entertainment of the spectators. It's a felony in all 50 U.S. states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Kilowog was patrolling with the sweet pink-haired Indigo lantern when they discovered the secret dog fighting arena. While Fluttershy is normally soft-spoken, she became as angry as a Red Lantern when she saw the acts of animal cruelty and the glare, she gave would make Sinestro's most intimidating men proud. She then proceeded to beat the criminals down, ripping apart the filthy blood-stained cages to bind their abusers.

The Leader of the criminals was a metahuman with them ability to generate ultra-sharp blades from his body for both protection and offense. A career criminal wanted for many severe crimes, including killing police officers and a low-level hero that attempted to arrest him. He looked like he would be a decent fight against a seasoned Lantern, but Fluttershy grabbed his arms with two giant constructs shaped like butterflies and twisted the limbs until they broke. She then sent him headfirst into a trashcan and crushed the can so he couldn't get out.

After the battle she healed the animals, and they became very excited and happy.

Stevonnie Universe of Sector 2814 is a very unique person. They are the fusion of a human/photonic alien hybrid and a human girl, a fusion caused by a loving bond between the two and made permanent by mad science. This resulted in the Star Sapphire Ring that appeared on their finger permanently bonding to them. When those facts were revealed to the online community, the new intersex hero became a major celebrity in LGBTQIA2+ and the focus of hate for many hate groups.

Green Lanterns don't have any problems, as their members from the 3600 sectors of space can literally be anything. There are some Green Lanterns that are sexless like the Living Planet Mogo and some who have more than a half a dozen sexes, there have also been marriages of radically different species. Recently, the liberated female Psions have essentially become a mono-gender race after being freed from cruelty of the sadistic and now extinct male Psions.

On Earth on the other hand is still working through its problems. There are still many countries where it's considered a crime to be homosexual, to the point one hero revealed to be gay was reclassified as a villain by the government. The majority of asexual, bisexual, homosexual, pansexual, genderless, intersex, non-binary, and transgender heroes and villains can be found in North America. These range from Wonder Woman to recently revealed Alan Scott.

Stevonnie's crystal manipulation is far more advanced than most Star Sapphires, this is because of their photonic extraterrestrial heritage. Steven Universe's mother was a Gem whose body was composed of light particles and could manipulate light into various constructs. Stevonnie's body is partially composed of Violet light particles and their mastery is increasing exponentially.

Like his mother, Steven possessed limited control and influence over plant life. Using his healing saliva, Steven could grow sentient and sapient flora by licking plant seeds. An example is the Watermelon Stevens - a species of sentient watermelons accidentally created by Steven Universe. Stevonnie being a permanent fusion of Steven and Connie possesses the same ability, enhanced even further by the power of the Star Sapphire/Violet Power Ring.

"You forgot you could create life!?"

In front of Kilowog and Stevonnie are half a dozen anthropomorphic melons resembling the intersex lantern, instead of the original Steven-shaped watermelons. Also, instead of being the normal shades of green, they are shades of violet making them resemble constructs. They raise glowing fists to the air and chant something in their own language, which Kilowog's power ring can translate.

The Entity is the living embodiment of the White Light of Creation that gave birth to all living things in the universe. The seven colors of emotional electromagnetic spectrum are merely separated components of the White Light of creation. The Entity's existence and location is one of the most guarded secrets of the Guardians, so of course it was hidden on Earth.

The Black Lanterns were supposed to be the undead servants of Nekron – the Black Entity of Death and Lord of the Unliving. In the prophecy of the Blackest Night, Nekron's zombie lanterns would flood the mortal world and attempt to kill the Life Entity – ending all life in the universe. The only hope would be the "Brightest Day" in which a White Lantern would restore the dead to life and end Nekron's plans.

Doctor Genus and Cognito Inc changed everything.

When Rorschach created the New Multiverse, new rules were implanted into reality. One of those rules made it so only someone possessing the entire spectrum of emotions could tap fully into the power of a Light. This prevented any group from dominating with a single emotion or any wielder from losing their emotional stability by becoming trapped with one emotion.

Another rule is instead of all life in the universe dying if the White Life Entity was killed, the Entity will live as long as there is Life in the multiverse. Every thinking and feeling creature in the entire multiverse would need to die, something the Life Elemental Entities would never allow.

Nekron's realm of the undying is also missing along with the Black entity. Instead, the Black Light is now connected to Death of the Endless. Black Lanterns instead of being emotionless undead puppeteer by the Rings and seeking to eliminate all life are now psychopomps (guides of the dead). The Black Lanterns guide the souls of the dead to the afterlife, be it a heaven or the cycle of rebirth due to the soul's beliefs. They also protect the universe from those who would violate the laws of life and death, those who would pull souls from the afterlife, those who would unnaturally bind their souls to mortal plain, and those who would violate the soul.

Priest and Priestess of Sector 2814 are the first of new Black Lanterns. They have severed all connections to the mortal plane that they possessed in life to perform their duties. They even threw away their mortal names. Instead of the jumpsuits used by Lanterns, they are dressed in "normal" dark clothing. Priest is a tall, lean muscular man with short hair dressed in a black suit with a white collar. Priestess is a beautiful young woman with shoulder-length hair dressed like a Goth girl. They both have ink black hair, pale white skin, and silver eyes with black sclera.

They are not completely emotionless as they are also subject to Law of Light. Instead, their eyes glow with the colors of emotion when something significant happens. They hate those who would violate the souls of the dead, the greedily harvest the souls of dead, they fear failing their duties, there will is absolute in performance of their duties, they have hope for the souls going to rebirth, they have compassion for all souls, and they love Death herself.

Ash Grey stands before Priest and Priestess, and they bow in respect.

"Why are you?" he says, then he begins to cough much to his shock. He doesn't have internal organs, including lungs, so how can he be coughing? Ash Grey then coughs out a Black Lantern Ring into his palm. "When the hell? Did I become a Black Lantern Power Battery?"

"You are the embodiment of the Tree of Death, the path that leads to the end of all things." says Priest.

"You are a being that connected the realm of the living and the realm of the dead." says Priestess.

"Souls can travel to the next life through your blessed body. Souls can also be destroyed by your cursed body."

The Life Elements. When spirits first appeared in the universe, they began their evolution. Planes of elemental spirits began to form in the universe. The primal elements were the first to appear followed the four elements representing the states of matter – solid earth, liquid water, gaseous air, and burning fire. After some time, water changed and began to create material life – the dividing cells. The green plants., the gray fungi, and the animals who became known as the Red. The life in material realm was subject to death, so to balance the elements – The Black Rot was born. There are many other realms born of the sentient beings such as the realm of muses, but only the realm of machine life – The Metal – eventually rose to be among the strong in the modern era.

Representatives of the Twelve Elements have gathered in pocket dimension forged from their elements. A chamber of shining reflective crystal with the ceiling showing gentle darkness and shining stars of space. The floor is opaque black stone and the 12-facted walls behind reflect each of the twelve represent the twelve elements.

The Representative of the Green is a voluptuous woman whose body is composed of rich wood and lush verdant plants decorated with flowers. Green skin with markings resembling vines and hair composed of fine vines. Her eyes glow with green energy and her body emits magical emissions resembling glowing green leaves. The mirror-like wall behind the Green Representative displays thick green jungles, lush forests, and deep swamps. The wall briefly shows Poison Ivy, Swamp Things, and other humanoids that possess the power of the Green.

"We have had more meeting in the last four years than we have in the last four eons." she says as she sits down, "Is this about Cognito?"

The Representative of the Red is muscular humanoid male with his body covered in armor composed of red animal skins, white bones, and the hard shells of arthropods. Blood red skin with markings resembling the stripes and spots of dozens of animals and a mane of black fur pierced by horns. His eyes glow with red energy and the energy trails from his eyes and clawed finger tips. The mirror wall behind him shows thousands of animals on the land, beneath the earth, and in the air. It also shows people like Beast Boy, Vixen, and tribe of feline people.

"That's rhetorical, right?" asks Red, "When have our meetings not been about them?"

The Representative of the Grey is a very tall, lean humanoid with a large wide silver-gray mushroom topping his head making it look like a takuhatsugasa – the wide-rim Japanese hat worn by Buddhist monks. The rest of his body is stretched and milky-white with long limbs ending in long fingers. He's cladded in gray robes that like his "hat" and holds a staff. Instead of shakujō (ringed staff), the fungi monk has a staff topped by softly glowing bioluminescent mushrooms. His eyes glow blue-green and he emits spores of blue-green light. The wall shows various mushrooms and other fungi, and strange fungal creatures that move like animals.

"To be fair, some of the early ones were about Ash Grey."

The Representative of the Divided is an asexual humanoid composed of clear liquid within a transparent membrane. It lacks muscles, bones, or internal organs, but there are small glowing particles moving and changing color inside the fluid. The movement of the fluid is also like a lava lamp and hypnotic to look at. In the center of the chest area is a single core that looks like two cores – one black, one white - fused together. From a couple of angles, it looks like a Yin/Yang symbol. Its "hair" is actually transparent pseudopods that look white from a distance and move like the tentacles of sea anemones. Its eyes are merely two glowing lights in the head portion of its body. Its clothing is even more bizarre as it's viscous black liquid like petroleum covering part of its body like a bodysuit. The wall behind her shows colorful coral and magnified images of amoeba and bacteria.

"Such a fascinating being." says the Divided with both male and female voices.

The Representative of the Black is Abigail Arcane – the Black Queen. She is a beautiful humanoid woman standing five-foot-seven with black eyes, black skin mostly covered in tight black wrappings, and long wavy black and white hair. She also has a pair of large, decayed wings. Her eyes don't emit light, but her body generates a dark mist that represents the power of the Rot. Her wall doesn't show anything beyond a field of rich black soil littered with bone fragments.

"Whose now part of Cognito Inc. He was even the best man at Rorschach's wedding. "

The Representative of the Clear is a tall woman composed of clear water. She is like the statue of a great swimmer or Atlantean athlete but composed of pure clear liquid. She is completely nude beyond a hooded cloak composed of water and mist. Her eyes glow a turquoise that pulsates with life, her hair sparkles like ice, and her body emits a faint mist that glows like moonlight. The wall behind her shows the deep ocean filled with aquatic plants and animals. Many Atlanteans are shown along with several images of Aspen Matthews.

"Ash Grey has many titles, such as being a Knight of Atlantis, Royal-Consort to the Queen of Shadows, Indestructible Monster, and many others."

The Representative of the White is a tall, lean humanoid of undetermined gender. Its translucent body is wrapped in white bandages and ribbons that move in the wind generated by its body. Those wrappings are covered by a pure white hooded cloak. Its eyes glow white and its body emits a glowing white mist that forms clouds around the being. The wall behind it shows moving clouds in the sky.

"We know that! Rorschach also has a bunch of Identities such as Alexander Armstrong and Doctor Genus. Skip It."

The Representative of the Melt is tall, muscular male humanoid composed of ancient dark stone with numerous veins of minerals and crystals around the joints. He has a mass of short thick crystals instead of hair and yellow eyes, that glow like lava behind crystal. He also has a beard made of crystals, hanging down like stalactites. He's dressed in Roman style robes that look like they are made of clay instead of cloth. As he moves, he generates glowing sparkling particles of sand and crystal. The wall behind him shows stony mountains, massive deserts, and deep mines.

"You're being a little loud, air head. This is supposed to be a quiet discussion."

The Representative of the Burn is a tall, lean humanoid composed of fire contained in glass. Its body is a hollow transparent glass sculpture in the form of a human male with golden joints and decoration. Inside this living sculpture is brightly burning fire flowing like lava. Instead of the glowing eyes of the other elementals, it instead has a face of black smoke and ash, with the light of fire shining through the holes in the mouth and eyes. Instead of hair, fire and smoke trail the opening in the structure in its head. The golden rim of the flame cauldron head is like a circlet around a King's forehead. The wall behind him shows only fire and he leaves a trail of red sparks as he moves.

"You should cool off, White. I know that sounds ironic coming from me."

The Representative of the Metal is a tall, lean, asexual humanoid composed of flowing liquid dense metal. The metal flows like mercury but is more reflective than polished silver giving the being a liquid mirror appearance. It has different colored lights on its featureless face that function as eyes and mane of cable reaching its waist like black microbraids. As it moves it leaves behind different colored light particles, that shimmer in and out of existence like holograms.

"Yes. Don't let your emotions cloud your judgement, Representative of the White."

The Last Two Representatives are Primal Elements.

One is a woman composed completely of darkness. She is a tall curvy woman with long hair, but every part of her is black, making her look like 2D silhouette to the human eye. The only part of her that is bright are her eyes which shine like stars in the night sky. She is dressed in a simple flowing black dress that resembles space with stars and galaxies. A dress that seems ethereal and moves as she moves. As she moves, her body generates a mist that absorbs light, and her wall shows a starry night sky.

"Yes. Calm yourselves, children. We are here to discuss new events." says the Representative of Primordial Darkness.

The other is a male composed completely of light. He is a tall muscular male with long hair, but every part of him glows as if he was a living lightbulb, making him look like a silhouette to the human eye. The one part of him that isn't blinding bright are his eyes, which are swirling dark spots like sunspots on the surface of the sun. His is dressed in hooded dark robes that depict starry space and swirling galaxies. As he moves, he releases particles of pure white light and the wall behind him shows a white star, more than likely the sun of planet Earth unfiltered by a planet's atmosphere.

"Let's Begin." says the Representative of Primordial Light.

The Representative of the Greenis the first to begin her report and as she speaks images appear in the center of the table, displayed to all members of the Representative council. It shows dozens of metahumans with green/plant features working on farms with buildings and machines marked with the Cognito symbol. There is also an image of Doctor Genus holding the green-skinned baby of two Chinese farmers. It's clear all the baby essentials are made by Cognito.

"Cognito Farms and Botanicals have continued their expansion. The users of the Green are flourishing even in the human world. Recently, additional farms have been created in Asia and Africa. With Cognito's considerable influence and military power, these buds of potential will grow unimpeded."

The Image shifts to Heroes fighting a towering green plant monster. The battle is not going good as the mass of vines and roots are very flexible and regenerates at insane speeds. Attempts to burn the plant with fire and heat vision also fail, as the mutated plant absorbs the energy and mutates even further. Finally, Superboy flies towards the monster (due to a Flight Ring). He's holding a Cognito injector. As the "trunk" is pierced, the monster shakes then rapidly withers and dies. As the core rots away, a green-skinned criminal collapses to the ground having what appears to be a grand mal seizure.

"Unfortunately, some of our followers have continued their criminal activities, such as the farming of illegal narcotics and growth of malignant mystical plants. This has led to them having violent conflicts with the heroes of both the League and Corporate Heroes. Those that are captured could end up having their powers stripped from Cognito's science."

"What was that substance Connor injected?" asks the Red Representative.

"Synthesized Venom of Ash Grey. Not as powerful as the original, but more than enough for all but the most powerful."

"Ash is a Poison Embodiment. Nothing can compare to the original." says Red.

Red's images are next to appear. It shows Cognito Inc delivering food and medical supplies to remote groups touched by the power of the Red. It shows Cognito doctors and medical robots treating people with animal features, including a tribe of metahumans with cat-like features. Garfield Logan (Beast Boy) is also being scanned, much to his embarrassment, but a stubborn Perdita is sitting next to him.

" Cognito is providing free medical care for various metahumans including followers of the Red. As you can imagine, mundane human doctors aren't equipped to handle post-humans who have animal traits or can shape-shift into animals. Cognito on the other hand has science and technology. They also have the money and political power to tear through or bypass the idiotic red tape."

Red Representative's total disgust of human politics is obvious. The Red represents all the animals of nature, but only humans make such absurd amounts of rules and let themselves be controlled. If a politician attempted to boss around a beast, they would quickly become the beast's meal.

The Images shift to show two separate scenes. One is a bunch of armed men in military fatigues escorting a bunch of scared young animal-eared people who are chained up like slaves. One is a group of crying animal-trait children dressed in white uniforms being held in some sort of research lab with white walls and a lot of lights.

"There are still some countries that still oppress metahumans, especially those with visible non-human traits. The First is from Africa, children taken prisoner by a warlord and his men to force their parents to cooperate. The other is a medical research facility in South America. Those children were taken from poor families to be used for experiments."

The scenes shift to show Ash Grey slaughtering the soldiers. You couldn't call this a battle because the soldiers aren't able to inflict any damage on the grey-skinned monster, while the soldiers can't even put up a good defense. One soldier attempt to use an RPG, but not only does the rocket-propelled grenade fails to scratch Ash, the soldier is killed because he was too close to the high-speed SPB. Even a fully armed battle tank - a Chinese-produced version of a Soviet model – is hit by Ash's Doom Vision and violently explodes.

"As you can see Cognito violently opposed both operations. As an Apex Predator, Ash was able to easily eliminate the small army." says the Representative of the Red, "He had one of his mates shield the children so they wouldn't be harmed and so he could cut loose."

In the other scene, the door to the lab opens and a scientist in hazmat gear walks in only to collapse to the group dead. Rorschach decloaks behind the man's corpse and raises a remote with which beeps like a car fob. Instantly, the barcoded restraints and collars on the beast-kin subjects disarm, unlock, and fall off.

"Rorschach on the hand decided to use stealth and cunning to easily dispose of the scientists and soldiers without even triggering a single alarm. Twenty scientists and a hundred twenty soldiers, not including the commander of the soldiers and the head scientist."

The scenes finally shift to the aftermath. A very embarrassed Ash Grey is being hugged by the now smiling and unchained animal-eared children, while Raven takes a picture with her phone. In the other, Cognito robots are escorting the children though a portal, while the leaders of the facility are on their knees looking like they're going to beg for their lives or void themselves, whichever comes sooner.

"Ash Grey. For someone who isn't a Hero, he sure does a lot of Heroic things." says Green.

"It's not for purely altruistic reasons. Rorschach's Party Gamer means he's rewarded for completing his Quests." says Red, "Predators often won't hunt unless they are defending their resources or acquiring new resources. Even heroics can be considered a little selfish because of the positive feelings they give heroes. It also gives those who love to fight a chance to fight."

"You would know that Red."

The next report is the Representative of Grey. There are two sets of images on display. The first set shows young people with colorful mushroom hats or on their clothing. They are growing either huge edible mushrooms or medical mushrooms for Cognito Farms. There are even three color-coded girls with mushroom hats dancing in what appears to be a commercial.

"There is a split in the human avatars of The Grey. Those that generate edible and medical creations for humans are recruited by Cognito Inc or one of their few rivals. Cognito provides them with everything they need to have enjoyable human lives in return for their work. Their scientists and psychologists even improve the health of avatars, so they in turn live longer and produce more."

The second set of images are more inhuman fungal creatures battling Ash Grey, Rorschach, and Corporate Heroes alongside the League Heroes. The criminal Grey avatars are powerful shapeshifters with the ability to generate deadly toxins, but they are no match for Cognito brand fungicide and Ash Grey's ultra-destructive flame breathe.

"The other half are hunted down and exterminated. They are shown no mercy."

"What you fail to mention is the ones that are killed are the ones that produce out-of-control invasive species, clouds of flesh-melting toxins, and mind-controlling spores. Those avatars are threats to humans and nature, and if humans hadn't eliminated them, we would have."

The Representative of the Divided is the next to make his report. The images are divided into two sets. In one set, there are scientists dressed in sterile white clothing watching things being constructed in water-filled tanks and medical doctors looking at samples through microscopes.

"Cognito scientists see the value of microbial life and combine it with their technology to create wonders. I once thought the Great Barrier Reef, created with Clear's help, was the greatest structure. Then Doctor Genus began to clean the oceans. The Great Cleaners are essentially immense synthetic microbes that clean the oceans of plastic. They also use microbes to enhance food production, help produce their nanotechnology, and destroy extraterrestrial threats. Those that work with Cognito are fruitful and multiply."

The images shift to show Ash Grey standing over a pile of smoking ash, while scientists and robots in Hazmat gear appear to clean up the mess.

"Those who defy Cognito are cleansed from the world."

The Representative of the Black is the next to make her report. Her images are of the new Black Lanterns, the servants of Death of the Endless. They harvest souls and purify evil spirits. Unlike the images of the other representatives no members of Cognito are shown.

"The Black Lanterns have proven far more reliable than other avatars of the Black."

"You barely have any surviving Black Avatars." comments Grey.

"Metahumans are human at heart and the human mind can't handle the concept of death. Humans seek out the warmth of others and death is considered the ultimate cold isolation. A person's humanity is based on the desires of their human life and the loss of life leads to loss of humanity" says the Black Queen, "I hold on due to my connections to life."

"Your love of the Greater Avatar of the Green" says Gray.

"Swamp Thing." adds Green, "Our fiercest protector who holds on to the human memories of Alex Holland."

"Most of the black elemental metahumans are too unstable, so I'm more than willing to let the Black Lanterns take up the mantle."

The Clear Representative at Black's signal begins her report. The images displayed are unique. Instead of aquatic metahumans and Atlanteans, it shows Imbocans. Originally, they were the Genomorphs of Cadmus Beta, but a combination of virus and exposure to the Atlantean environment has caused them to evolve over the years into a completely new species.

"The Imbocans lead by Alex Marsh are 'evolving' at an accelerated rate. They have all of the abilities of Atlanteans including magical potential and their connection to the Clear is only growing stronger with time. "

"The Light as Vandal Savage calls them must be upset with letting that potential fall through their fingers" says Red.

"When they are not dealing with the Lord of Chaos being high on Bleed Catnip." quips Green.

"I'm also having problems understanding Same – the mascot pet of Atlantis' Megalodon Knights." says Clear, as images of Same in its various forms is shown. An adorable plushie-like shark, a full-size megalodon, three-headed shark abomination with octopus tentacles, a sand shark swimming in solid rock, a flying shark surrounded by shark-filled tornadoes, and even a fiery radioactive lava shark.

"It appears to be some form of Phantasmal Beast born of humanity's collective subconsciousness. It embodies all history, legends, and myths about sharks. Even monsters Isonade and Samebito, and the bionic sharks of science fiction. It also embodies all mystical and supernatural abilities associated with sharks such as fierceness, fluidic grace, innovation, remorselessness, and superiority."

"Sharks were our finest creation" says Red to Clear, "We didn't know how they would capture human imagination."

The Representative of the White begins her report. The images show several people flying and controlling the weather. These include Storm (Ororo Munroe) of the X-Men and Sarah Rainmaker of Gen 13. They are using their powers to help other people

"Freedom has always been the core of Parliament of Vapors. The freedom to fly and explore the skies with one's abilities, but while Cognito has helped many of the metahumans connected to the White, they have also become our greatest restriction. While there can be sunny days and rainy days and snowy days, the fully unleashed storms are being stopped by Cognito's weather control network. Typhoons, Tornadoes, and Ice Storms may only become a distant memory!"

"Humans don't want weather that could disrupt their lives, especially weather that could endanger their lives." says Red, "Cognito has given them the power to take the weather out of nature's hands and they decided no more extremes. I'm sure they would do the same with other elements."

"Earthquakes" says Melt.

"Tsunamis." says Clear.

"Volcanoes" says Burn and Melt, then glare at each other.

"Don't start that again!" says Clear, "We agreed at the last meeting that Volcanoes are both Fire and Earth territory. The same way Mud Slides belong to both me and Melt. Anything else?"

"Well other than the loss of my extremes, Cognito is supplying it's corporate heroes with what he calls 'Legion Flight Rings' meaning every one of them gets to fly. There are also plans to make flight belts for civilians. The Kryptonian re-awoke the imagination of people, but Doctor Genus has made those dreams into reality."

"You sound like a commercial." says Burn.

The Representative of the Melt is the next to give his report. The images show various people manipulating Earthen materials and various people composed of earthen materials. Most of them are either constructing impressive structures or creating works of art using their abilities. There are some extremes such as one metahuman constructing a life size Minecraft structure using 1-meter-cubed stone blocks and a clay girl creating a small army of nude statues of herself to sell.

"The Parliament of Stones is still debating over metahuman surge. The world is changing far faster than the stone elementals would like and it feels like they will melt or blow apart. As they debate, Cognito is doing the regulation."

"You're letting Cognito do all the work?" asks Burn.

"Letting them do as they desire may be the best option."

"The Parliament of Stones were always fence sitters."

Images of Alexander Armstrong or Rorschach talking to the builders and artists, often holding pamphlets or cases full of cash. The builders and artists all look excited at the offers. There is also an image of the Ash Grey standing on the remains of a destroyed Sphinx (thankfully not the one in Egypt) holding an Earth bender by the throat. The bender is big and muscular, but he's a child compared to a fully transformed Ash Grey. The bender is crying, wetting himself, and begging for mercy, while Ash looks disgusted.

"Other than Cognito regulating Earth-based Metahumans, they have also opened bridges to other worlds. Worlds containing people descended from the humans of Earth and having possessed powers for centuries."

"We didn't expect these worlds to make contact so soon." says Red

"Cognito has accelerated the timeline of many events – births, technology, and bonds."

The representative of the Burn is the next to begin his report. The images shift to those with various fire-based abilities ranging from mere manipulation of fire to those who can transform into various forms of fire ranging from holy to hell fire. The images shown are divided into two major groups. Those who use their fire manipulation for the benefit of themselves and others and those who use their powers purely for destruction and harming others. It's also clear to see which group is succeeding in life. Those that use their power for evil are being violently extinguished and arrested, blown to bits by soldiers, shattered by ice manipulators, or otherwise contained or killed in brutal fashions. The ones doing the arresting are heroes – both League and Corporate, while the ones doing the killing are Cognito Inc forces.

"I don't have much to say." says Burn, "Those who control their flames and work well with others are prospering, while those who burn too brightly, and cause damage are extinguished."

The images shift to show fire-based metahumans having a festival with dancing and parades like carnival. There are people manipulating fames every color of the rainbow and in various shapes. Despite the heat and flames, no one is even overly warm. There is even a couple of human women who let their clothing burn off, but they are not burnt in the slightest. Not even the long hair of one of women ignites. At the raised eyebrows, Burn explains.

"Anti-Fire Pills. Cognito Inc somehow produced magi-tech pills that render a person immune to fire and extreme heat for twenty-four hours. It even prevents smoke containments from entering the lungs. They may end up becoming standard issue to fire fighters and emergency fire kits."

"They also make Water Pills." says Clear, "Those who take a pill can breathe underwater and can tolerate the cold, pressure, and salinity of ocean water like Atlanteans. This has opened up tourism in the Kingdom of Atlantis and could become a standard for beach goers."

"Combined with the Flight Rings, Cognito has granted access to all of our territories."

"What about my territory?" asks Meld.

"Cognito has Ghost-tech." says Metal, "They can phase through solid matter, and I saw a test subject swim through a solid mountain."

"Oh." says Meld.

Metal finally makes his report to the group. The images shift to those of the various digital worlds and their material world origins. The first group shows extraterrestrial worlds and digital beings that don't even look remotely human. These digital beings encounter each other exchanging data and some even producing hybrid beings.

"The Cyberverse is expanding and growing at an exponential rate. While originally limited to Earth systems, which caused it to absorb data from parallel worlds, it's now reached the edges of the known universe. Any species possessing artificial intelligence has potential to join The Metal."

Long ago, a prototype Iron Legion soldier was granted life by the cybertronian All-Spark and became the Teachnoformer son of Rorschach. Pip eventually journeyed inti the Cyberverse to rescue various imported worlds, worlds absorbed from other universes by the Cyberverse's unstable expansion. Now those worlds are flourishing and interacting with each other. Jonny and Jessie of Quest World are talking to the Guardians of system Mainframe, the players of SAO and ALO are interacting with the players of Elder Tale and the citizens of the very real world of Theldesia, and Digimon are appearing in all Digital Worlds.

"The Worlds rescued by Lord Pip are interacting and growing. Cognito has provided numerous apps to help the various people of these worlds safely interact. I have noticed due to the larger number of human sentients; the number of human-form digital monsters had also increased. This has allowed for hybridization of numerous digital life forms." says Metal, "Cognito has also begun development of telepresence artificial humanoids to allow some citizens to act with human material world."

"I can imagine the humans miss being able to act like normal humans in modern worlds." says Red

"I don't see why." says Metal, "We have corrected the sensory dullness that plagued those of SEED world and Theldesia during the world fusion. They have full sensory options that can perceive their worlds. For example, Elder Tale players don't need to be chefs to prepare food with actual taste. Another example, is sexual interaction..."

"That's enough examples" says Red, "Humans find comfort in familiarity. The city protected by Gridman provides some simply comfort, but the humans want a full experience."

"The Metal is not familiar with concept of Nostalgia yet."

The Images shift to show two groups interacting with each other. The transformers – the transcendent machine lifeforms of the planet cybertron – and technoformers – humans who have become hybrids of cybertronian and human via a techno-organic virus form one group. They are led by Autobot Leader Optimus Prime and Sari and Pip of the technoformers. The other group are the Scarab Warriors – humans (and some extraterrestrials) transformed by modified Reach Scarabs and Cognito super-science into another form of techno-organic life. The two have come together to help each other due to their shared pass.

"The growing Scarab, Technoformer, and Transformer populations are helping each other and forming their own society. Red and Metal have agreed that techno-organics belong to both our realms. There are some possible exceptions among the Transformers"

The first image is a female transformer (femme) with an organic alt mode. This is not strange as some transformers decided that the vehicle-based giant robot was energy-inefficient and made it harder to properly interact with the other sentient races. This became more and more evident as their population increased, so they decided to "upgrade" from autobot to maximal. What makes the femme unique is instead of having a human or animal alt mode, she is plant-based composed of green-gold leaves and blue techno-matter. She is also tending to a garden of techno-organic plants with help from Cognito Green Gardeners.

"The Green will acknowledge the plant Transformers." says Green immediately.

The second image is a male transformer also with an organic-based alternate mode swimming in the ocean. He has taken the form of a massive metallic blue-and-silver-gray shark. It swims towards a transport ship before it leaps onto the deck and transforms into its robot form. He is a very menacing, clearly amphibious unit with a large fin on its head, large pauldrons, and a large claw on its left arm. It then proceeds to attack the crew of the ship, who pull out automatic rifles and handguns. Within minutes the Pirates are massacred, and a group of meta children are freed from the slave pens. The Shark wants to return to the ocean and let the Atlanteans, Navy, or Coast Guard deal with things, but the children grab onto him much to his embarrassment.

"The Clear will also acknowledge of the aquatic Transformers."

The meeting continues with some debates, but mostly reveals future projects.

The silent Representative of Primal Darkness notices something unique about the Shark, beyond him being a Shark-based Transformer that answers to Atlantis instead of Optimus Prime. Instead of the symbol for Autobots or the Maximals, the Shark's symbol is the Logo of the Predacons. She looks through the images and notices that some of the more militant transformers (those with military vehicle alt forms) also bear a different mark than that of the Autobots.

L1 – Vandal Savage - investigates the cyclopic glowing eye of their newest member. While L-5 - Ocean-Master/Orm was replaced by L-8 - Ocean-Master and L-6 The Brain was replaced by L-9 Dr. Anton Sevarious, L-10 isn't replacing anyone. Instead, he is providing advanced science and technology to complement Dr. Sevarious' knowledge of genetics and enhanced biology.

The newest member is a Cybertronian, a huge menacing humanoid robot in shades of purple and gray. He has a thin barrel energy cannon for his left arm. His head lacks the humanoid or semi-humanoid faces found on most transformers, instead it's a machine with two fins/antenna on the sides and a single glowing yellow light for an eye.

He is the mad scientist of Decepticons – the militant faction of the Cybertronian that opposed the peaceful Autobots. His madness is not born of ego or emotion like most super villains, instead logic rules his hought processes and is the source of his every inspiration. He was willing to experiment on his own people and other sentient species to ensure the survival of his race. He joined under charismatic Megatron because he believed the Decepticon leader would get more results than the pacifistic Autobots. He seeded other worlds when the Great War began to deplete his world's supply of live-sustaining energon. His madness is one of obsession and his willingness to accomplice his goals at any cost.

While most cybertronians, both Decepticon and Autobot, would look at the techno-organic fusion of machine and the organic in negative light, The Scientist looked at them with logic. While most transformers consider organics to be gross dirty creatures and the fusions as horrific monsters, he saw the energy efficiency, adaptability, and fast reproduction. This is why he has chosen to join the Light, because his race and humans are becoming one.

Piracy exists in the depths of space. Hundreds of thousands of spaceship travel the sea of stars transporting people, cargo, and other valuable cargo between planets and colonies. On those distant colonies, law enforcement is hard to maintain, and many former soldiers and colonists decided it would be easier to steal than work hard or find another job.

The Black Heart was once known as the Silver Heart – a luxury spacecraft owned by a large transport company. It was the pride of company until pirates captured the ship and killed all the crew. The ship was transformed from a ship of beauty and refinement into a ship of terror. It was given faster engines, dozens of weapons, and a dark look fitting for the flagship of the Bokka Pirate Fleet.

For the past twenty years, they have terrorized the outer colonies of the United Emerald Star Systems and their allies. Now, they know terror.

There is a monster onboard their ship and it's killing their crew. It attacks from the shadows, tearing apart any man or woman that gets caught in its claws and leaving trails of blood. They attempted to stop the monster with energy barriers, but the monster walked through them burning out the emitters. They attempted to stop the monster with walls of metal, but it tore through them with ease. They attempted to stop the monster with an arsenal of weapons stolen from a dozen systems, but nothing slows the creature. The ship is littered with the black-clad corpses of the extraterrestrial race known as the Bokka, which resemble green-skinned humanoids lacking noses or hair and having antenna.

The Pirate Captain, who has a cape with a hood and shoulder-pads to show his rank, is at the Vault with his two most loyal. The Vault is a high security chamber at the heart of the ship meant to hold the most valuable cargo. It's also designed to survive the ship's total destruction. The captain's plan is to hide inside the Vault and self-destruct the ship to escape the monster. He would rather bribe the authorities or even get arrested than face that thing.

As the massive vault door opens, a corpse in powered armor lands next to him. Captain Zeytor Aburian looks down at the black power armor that's twice his height and must weigh several tons. This heavy combat military armor was stolen from a crash military dreadnaught and was capable of taking on a platoon of elite space marines. His most loyal second in command was the pilot of the power armor and was a skilled pilot in the top 98 percentile.

Now the Power Armor is broken with smoking parts scattered around. Electricity and circuit smoke rise from machine as its electronic systems shutdown forever. His 2IC is crushed inside the metal frame, leaking purple blood out the cracks. Captain Zeytor Aburian the Scourge of Bokka stares at face of his closest and now deceased friend through the broken helmet.

"Impressive Vault."

The captain turns to see the monster. A muscular two-and-half-meter (8'2) humanoid with red eyes, gray skin with bony spikes, and long white hair. He's dressed in black leather and half soaked in the lives of the pirate's crew.

"Your buddy was pretty good. It took me half a minute to crack the shell." says Ash Grey, the Galaxy's most feared monster. He holds up a crystalline power core ripped from the armor's power system and takes a bite out of it. "Not bad crystal."

"Why? Why are you here?"

"Just a Quest. I didn't have to kill all of your men, but I like to be thorough."

Captain Zeytor Aburian, the Scourge of Bokka, the Terror of the United Emerald Star Systems, cries out in rage, fear, and madness. He opens fire with his energy rifle, firing brilliant beams of plasma at his enemy. The shots that can pierce ship hulls hit Ash's chest and do no damage. Ash walks forward ignoring the shots, even as the overheated weapon behind burns the captain's fingers. Ash grabs the captain's head and twists it around. The pirate captain coughs blood, then dies.

Ash holds the body up before a scanner. The Vault has a biometric lock set so only the Pirate Captain and 2IC can access it. He could tear his way into the Vault, but that is too much effort. As the door opens, Ash tosses the corpse away like so much trash and walks inside.

There are many locked cases and sealed boxes filled with valuables, but Ash ignores them. Instead, he walks towards a box filled with alien religious items. He sorts through the items and finally pulls out a gold-rimmed black lacquered case. He opens the case and inside is a huge green-and-gold seed the size of a chicken egg. It glows with a faint light, pulsating like a heart. Ash then closes the case and pulls out a Cognito sticker from his Inventory, sticking it onto the case

"Rorschach, delivery portal to Ronilia Church – Pontiff's private office."

A small portal opens, and Ash drops the case through it.

"With support of the Ronilia Church and UESS, Cognito opens yet another trade route." says Ash, "Now, all I have to do is wait for the old man to find his precious seed."

The Party Gamer gives him a notification.

New Genesis is one of the two home planets of New Gods – a god-like race possessing some of the greatest power in the universe. Led by Highfather, the New Gods are said to be gods of life, freedom, and the Source, a stark contrast to their enemies on Apokolips ruled by the God of Tyranny Darkseid. There is currently an uneasy truce between the two worlds, one that greatly cost both parties, so they are reluctant to break it. Their conflict mostly continues through proxies with Darkseid attempt to expand his rule to other worlds and New Genesis helping to ensure the world's freedom.

Currently, the ruling council of New Genesis is having a meeting to discuss The New Source Event that occurred on Earth date - Monday, October 12, 2015. On that day, there was a massive surge in Source energy including one massive eruption at Boiling Lake Crater. This surge threatened to ignite the planet's atmosphere, but thankfully a combination of New Genesis scientists, Green Lanterns, and mysterious machines saved the planet from total destruction. After the surge, Source energy levels dropped to significantly lower levels and The Motherboxes of New Genesis and Fatherboxes of Apokolips entered a low-energy state. New Genesis looked for answers.

Now Highfather and his advisory council has gathered.

Highfather Iyaza the Inheritor - the leader of New Genesis, Highmother Avia the Wisdombringer – Highfather's wife and lorekeeper, military advisor Commander Gideon, the explorer Lonar, ecological specialist Madame Nature, and science advisor Teledar. Orion, the dog of war, is also present among the group along with Metron - the New God who invented the Motherboxes, Fatherboxes and the boom tube.

"Do we have an answer?"

"The Universe has changed. No, even greater, the multiverse has changed." says Metron, "We were severed from out section in the multiverse and a new multiverse was grown form us like a cutting from a plant. A multiverse isolated from the others and with new rules implanted by its creator."

"What kind of new rules?"

A holographic projector shows an image of the Seven Power Rings, which is then joined by the symbols for the White and Black Lanterns.

"The Emotional Spectrum has been changed so only those possessing the entire spectrum of emotion can truly tap into a single Light. Those who devote themselves to a single emotion are crippled as are the Oans."

The image shifts to show twelve points of light each surrounded by images of what they represent. The Green, the Red, the Gray, the Black, the Divided, the Clear, the Melt, the Burn, the White, the Metal, the Primordial Light, and the Primordial Darkness.

The images shift to show the Boiling Lake Crater along with a floating fatherbox and a floating motherbox. It also displays two lines of code – the Anti-Life Equation and Life Equation. The people of New Genesis can only stare in shock and horror at the Equations being displayed. Darkseid would destroy worlds to obtain the Equation.

"Metron! What are you doing!?" exclaims Highfather.

"The creator of the New Multiverse solved the Equations and encoded them into the New Rules. The creator made it easier to find the answer, but also made it so If you learn one equation, you automatically learn the other! This is perplexing."

Suddenly, Orion bursts into laughter, much to the shock of everyone.

"My boy, what is so funny."

"Darkseid wants the Anti-Life Equation to remove freedom from all life, but anyone that learns the Equation loses it when they learn the Life Equation."

"Impressive Deduction, Orion" says Metron, "Even if Darkseid or another succeed in inflicted domination, the victim would possess a copy of the Anti-Life in their subconscious, which would cause the Life Equation to appear and restore their freewill automatically."

"In other words, Darkseid's greatest desire is Now Worthless!" says Orion, grinning like a maniac.

The Source of All Life, or the Source, is a mystical force important to the New Gods. It is associated with life and freedom and is opposed to Anti-Life. In truth Anti-Life is also part of the Source capable of separating freewill from life, allowing life without emotion or freewill.

"Another alarming change to the Source is the concept of Death was implanted into the Source Wall, including the fragment that exists in Crater. The dead gods, cosmic beings, and foolish entities that failed to breach the wall and now dead to a new degree. Even beings that don't have a concept of normal death like Bleed Creatures and the Promethean Gods who were merely fossilized are now dead."

The images shift to show two very similar charts, the only difference being one lacks several colorful lines. Arrows indicate which lines of the first chart are missing from the other chart.

"The new multiverse is even missing several dimensions, including the Phantom Zone."

"The Projector!" says Lightray.

A Phantom Zone Projector is a Kryptonian device used to send prisoners to the Phantom Zone and retrieve them once their sentences are up. During the New Source Event, there was an explosion inside the Inter-Dimensional Vault, which they determined to be the complete destruction of one of last surviving projectors.

"Correct. I believe the Phantom Zone was sacrificed to create our new multiverse." says Metron.

"So, who is this multiverse's creator."

[Same time.]

Hakudōshi, Daniya and Eri are sitting at a café in Metropolis. They are currently waiting for Mirio to come back with their order, since the waitresses are clearly overworked. The new special must be very popular as the café is crowded. Many of the patrons notice the two children due to their unique looks, but only a small number recognize them as the "Ring Boy" and "Flower Girl" from the World's Most Famous Wedding. Some of the group sneak quick photos with their phones, one idiot disguising it a selfie.

One of the people watching is not a typical tourist or random local. The oily looking man, with long messy hair and a hoodie, is staring intently at Eri. It's a very unhealthy look and he also licks his lips. Hakudōshi may not be able to read minds (at the moment), but he doesn't need to, to understand what's going in the man's diseased mind.

"Give me a minute, Eri." says Hakudōshi, then he gets up and walks over to the creepy guy, who is trying to fake confusion. Hakudōshi then whispers in a language that hurts the ears of those ease dropping.

The Creepy Guy notices his nose is bleeding and runs off. Hakudōshi then runs back to Eri and Daniya to continue their discussion on candy.

[Apartment of the Creepy Guy]

[Hour later]

The scared creepy guy finally makes it back to his apartment. He hurries to his bedroom and pulls out a locked box hidden in the false bottom of a shelf. Inside is a small PDA loaded with guys' collection of secret photos.

Suddenly, his body seizes up and he remembers the words of the light lilac haired boy, only this time he understands the words.

"omae wa mou shindeiru"

The Creepy Guy's body swells and distorts. His skin turns dark red-purple as it inflates at an alarming rate and the sound of breaking bone audible. He can't even scream as his tongue is swollen like a sausage and his brain is swelling in his skull.

"You are already dead."

Parts of the Creepy Guy's body explode, then finally his entire body bursts like a pasta sauce-filled balloon, staining the entire room.

Days later, the police would investigate, but find no answer. They would find the man's collection and whisper to each other that man deserved his end.
