HELLO AGAIN! I AM BACK! And with a chapter of the protector of mankind to boot! Happy days, happy days!

So, I left you on a bit of a cliff-hanger there last time… I'm not apologizing. And there's nothing you can say to make me do it either. Not even the offer of a 70 inch plasma widescreen tv, with Netflix!

All jokes aside, it's time to get back into this shit!

The world was alive with lightning.

There could be no other description for the phenomenon in front of them. As soon as the hammer had struck the monument, an immense storm of wind and lightning had begun to swirl around it, blocking all view into the heart of the storm, blinding those who even dared to stare for too long. But what could be seen was the monument crumbling underneath the pressure the storm was putting on it, the immense marble structure being forced to crumble into tiny bits as they were sheared off of the body of the monument.

It was Momo who eventually spotted what was happening to the pieces of marble as they fell into the heart of living lightning, having made herself a welders mask that allowed her to stare at the center of it all, albeit at the highest possible setting. As she watched, she saw the marble heating well beyond what it should be able to and turning into a strange metal that she couldn't identify from the look alone. She didn't believe it at first, as physics dictated that marble shouldn't be able to turn into metal, but the more she observed it, the more she couldn't deny it was happening in front of her.

As All-for-One stared, his newly acquired quirk, Search, was quick to inform him of the new development in the heart of the storm. Of the rising heat signature that was emerging from the lightning.

Of the heartbeat that was steadily growing stronger in the midst of it all.

Pointing his arm at the maelstrom, he quickly gave his orders.

"DESTROY IT NOW! DO NOT LET HIM RISE!"

In response to the order, the world serpent behind him quickly lunged at the heart of lightning, the sheer speed behind the strike shocking the hero's that something so large could move so quickly and with laser locked precision. As it was about to swallow the maelstrom, a figure moved in the light, pantomiming a throwing gesture before a silverly grey blur flew out of the maelstrom, striking the serpent in the face and sending the great beast flying, far out of the city and deep into the harbor, almost pushing it to open waters.

As the blur hung in the air, far enough away that no hero could make out it's exact form, the hero's heard a single noise ring out and echo over even the roar of the lightning.

*SNAP*

A snap of the fingers and the silver blur flew back towards the lightning storm, striking All-for-One in the head, shattering his mask and sending the king of the underworld plummeting to the ground beneath him.

The now clearly ornate, Norse styled Hammer flew into the waiting right hand of the figure within the storm, the force of which caused a chain reaction to the cascading storm around them, dissipating the immense amount of lightning in an amazing show of fury, the bolts of natures fury carving feet deep trenches in the ground and blowing holes in buildings the size of average cars. When the lightning finally dissipated, it revealed the figure within.

The Legendary Hero.

The Worlds Guardian.

The Protector of all Mankind.

The Symbol of Judgement and Justice.

The Avenger.

The Thunder God Hero, Thor Odinson.

He was a tall man, standing at a staggering 6 feet 6 inches tall, his height only being surpassed by All Might himself. His build was what many would consider the prime warriors build, not a body gained by working out or a specific training regime. Instead it was the body of one who earned their power in the heat of battle. It wasn't slim by any means, but it wasn't bulging with muscles either. It was a streamlined, powerful build, meant to allow for equal parts power and speed at a moments notice. Chiseled all over, there was visible muscle definition on every aspect of his form. In short? It was the body of a God of War.

He walked down from the monument of his death, his armor rapidly forming and cooling off as he did. It took the shape of scaled chainmail at it's base, covering him from the top of his chest to right above his ankles. Over that formed an armored and stylized, plated chest-piece, with 6 circular plates in two rows of three running down from his pecs to his abdominals, a stylized image of the World Tree running in between them. From his shoulders burst a brilliant red cape, flowing heroically in the wind of his own creation.

Around his legs formed armored plates hanging at the sides of his waist, hanging about to his knees and not inhibiting his movements in the slightest. Around his feet formed a pair of armored greaves, covering from his feet up to the mid-point of his calf. Around his arms and hands formed a pair of bracers that covered from the backs of his hands up to just beneath his elbows. The plates on his arms were one solid piece, with the plate on the back of his hands being separate from it.

Like most hero's who were confident in their ability to fight, he wore no form of protection on his face, choosing instead to show his face to the masses so as to assure them that the thunderer was here. It was a common trend among the more powerful hero's to forgo head armor in favor of showing them a friendly and known face, as it helped during emergencies to have a recognized face telling people to flee and evacuate, rather then an almost unknown face that been hidden behind a mask. And like most things in the heroing business, he had started that trend.

His face was, much like all might, not a stereo-typical face. His face was well cut, little to any baby fat on it. His hair was a striking shade of bloody crimson, with electric blue eyes peeking out from underneath his shaggy lions-mane of hair. A full, but well cared for beard adorned his face, further filling the picture of a competent, powerful warrior.

Continuing his walk down the stairs, Endeavor stumbled forward, his own shock prevalent on his face. He could hardly breathe, but with what little air he had he asked the only question that mattered to him right now.

"Fa- Father? Is it really you?" he asked, his whole body shaking at the sight of his long-gone father being returned in front of him. Behind him, the student hero's and number one hero looked shocked at his words, being unaware of the connection between the current number-two hero, and the man who just walked away from a long death. As he heard the voice, the large man turned his head to look at the source of the question, only to freeze momentarily when his eyes landed on Endeavor. The instant after he locked onto him, he flickered from over 50 feet away to standing in front of Endeavor in an instant, shocking the student further at just how fast he was.

"Enji…" he muttered, looking at the veteran hero from top to bottom, before staring him in the eye when he finished his assessment.

"You got old, my son." He summarized, causing a sweat drop to form on the back of his head, along with the six students behind him.

"It has been almost forty years, old man. I think I'm allowed to age by that point, don't you?" he returned, causing his old man to take on a sad melancholic smile.

"forty years huh? I've been asleep for that long?..." he muttered, looking down at the ground, before shaking his head and staring back up at his 'youngest son' a small smile on his face.

"Well, I guess you must have some kids at this point, huh Enji?" he asked, only for him to frown when Endeavor subtly flinched at his question.

"I do, one of them is behind me in fact. Shoto, Front and center young man!" he called, turning to stare at his youngest son. As his son walked up to stand by him, he pulled him in front of him with his hands on his shoulders. "My youngest, Shoto Todoroki."

Kneeling in front of his pseudo-grandson, he gently put his hands on the young mans shoulders. "It's nice to meet you, my boy. Tell me, what's your quirk?" he questioned with a smile, wanting a basic idea of his grandchild's powers.

"Half-cold half-hot, I can use my mothers ice and my fathers flames equally, if used properly, without the drawback of either." He quickly summarized, feeling a tad nervous being it the presence of this unknown individual.

Smiling more now, Naruto turned his head up to his son. "You found your Sinmara then? I told you that you would find her eventually Surtr."

Lightly smiling, he nodded his head and then looked down. " I haven't gone by that name in a long time, old man. Feels good to hear it again." He said, thinking back to when he debuted under that name with Naruto's agency back in the day. He had made a good name for himself with that one. Maybe it was time to revisit it, go back to his old ways.

Frowning, Shoto decided to poke into his father's business a little, if for any reason, then just to make him angry.

" So you're the one that made my old man an asshole, are you?" he questioned, much to the shock of his friends and teacher. His father just minutely paled and lightly sweated.

Naruto, lieu of all of that, just threw his head back and laughed.

"Nay! He was like that long before I got to him, I just tried to teach him how to properly channel it. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't." he responded, glancing up at Enji as he did, only to catch his son in the process of burying his shame. Lightly frowning, he looked to the ocean as he heard the serpent rising back up from the concussion he had given it with that throw.

"I suppose it's time I dealt with you for good…" he uttered as he began to walk towards the serpent.

"It killed you last time, you can't fight it again!" called Endeavor, not wanting to watch his father die again, this time right in front of him.

"Relax Enji…" He began, before snapping his fingers on his right hand to call his hammer to his hand, before taking off with it.

"AND WATCH YOUR OLD MAN WORK!"

Like a bolt of lightning, he was gone. One moment he was in front of them taking off, the next the serpent was being pulled out towards the ocean.

(With Naruto)

Grappling with the great serpent was always such a chore.

Not because it was truly strong enough to contest his physical might, but because it was so fucking massive. It was ridiculously heavy, not that that factor was shocking to anyone with its size. And it was always struggling with him, trying not to go where he was dragging it. Just it resisting always made it way worse to move it.

But it would be moved. He had to move it away to use the full of his power to kill this thing once and for all. Anything less was unacceptable.

Finally, he was away far enough to fight and kill this monster once and for all. Throwing it in to a small jagged outcropping of rocks, the beasts head bashed off of them, making it a lot easier to stand on them. Landing, he spun his hammer in his hand like a gun slinger would a revolver.

"Last time we fought, I was well under my full strength. Lets see what happens when I'm at my full power this time, ehhh?" Naruto questioned, getting a roar from the serpent when the damned thing rose back up out of the waves.

Lunging at each other, the hammer struck the serpent and the world exploded.

(back in Japan)

The battle that followed was seen even back on the coast of Japan. The strikes of lightning were visible even when they couldn't see the serpent anymore. The horizon looked as if there were constant huge explosions going off from the light show they could see. The great serpent could be heard roaring its fury at its opponent only for great claps of thunder to answer its fury with equal fervor. Lances of lightning frequently struck out across the skies and only dissipated when they passed over the landmass of Japan. The battle kept going on for over twenty minutes, before a shout echoed over all of Japan from over the horizon.

"FOR MIDGARD!"

And the horizon erupted in lightning.

The blast of lightning that came after the shout made the twenty minutes of pervious lightning strikes seem like less then nothing in comparison. The entire horizon lit up like a nuclear explosion of old, producing a blinding flash of light that caused pain to even glance at the sight of it. An absolute web of lightning spread over their heads, crossing the sky in an immense web of natures fury. The absolutely earth-shaking display of power lasted for over ten minutes, showing just how great the fury of the God of Thunder was. When the lightning finally stopped over ten minutes later, nothing could be heard or seen, no more roars from the great serpent, no more cataclysmic claps of thunder that could shatter boulders. Silence was all that could be heard.

"Well, I think we all know how that ended, don't we?" questioned All-for-One, turning to face the kneeling form of the number two hero and the shrunken form of the number one hero, along with the six terrified students behind them. Shrugging, he continued with his monologue.

"oh well, no loss on my part, keeping that beast of a creation in line was such a chore. I suppose its past time it was put down." He paused turning his head towards the ocean to stare at the site of the battle. "Still, I had hoped my old rival was still strong enough to bring down the improved serpent and survive, but it appears I overestimated him. Oh well."

"Now then, too deal with you lot." He finished, raising a hand and pointing it at them, the pressure building from his stolen air cannon quirk forcing the sleeves of his suit to stretch and expand.

Toshinori couldn't move. He was completely sapped of his strength. He could still feel the embers of one for all in him, but they would not ignite and give him the strength to at least block the attack. His body was unable to handle it right now. There was nothing he could do.

Endeavor was near catatonic at the supposed sight of his father dying again after just getting him back in his life from the grave. Beyond even that, his body was still overheated from his enormous prominence burn earlier, so his quirk would kill him if he used it right now. He was defenseless.

Bakugou couldn't force his body to move, no matter how hard he tried or how angry he got. It was still frozen from the appearance of the serpent. The same with Kirishima, they were both frozen stiff. Eventually, anger turned to desperation and even that wasn't enough to get them to move.

Momo and Iida were still frozen mentally at the sight of the serpent, neither of their minds were processing the information their sense's were giving them. They couldn't move, think, even breathing was a chore for them. They could do nothing right now.

Shoto was scared. It was a rare thing to see Shoto Todoroki displaying prominent fear on his face, but right now he was a young man stood in front of the most dangerous villain on the face of the planet with his pro hero of a father useless, the number one hero unable to help, and himself too afraid to act in the face of such an enemy. What could he do?

Izuku Midoriya however…

"SMASSSHHH!"

He fist slammed into the forearm of the symbol of evil, forcing the blast up and away from his friends and teacher, before swiftly striking the ultimate evil in the stomach to push him back. As quickly as he struck, he ducked away quickly, afraid of letting himself stay in close quarters for to long with the villain. He took a ready stance, ready to move at the first sign of movement from the symbol of evil.

"YOUNG MIDORIA! Get back! He'll kill you!" shouted all might, his hand outstretched towards his ward as if to pull him back and hide him behind him. but he didn't move forward. Rather, he couldn't, for fear of All-for-One using it as an opening to strike and kill one of them. While he would be fine if it were him, he would not risk his ward and heir. The young man had too much to live for! He hadn't even had his first girlfriend, his first drink of alcohol, his first child, anything that Toshinori wanted to see him grow up and experience!

"You all can't fight right now sensei! I CAN! I'll buy you all some time to get back into the fight and other hero's to get here!" he proclaimed, glancing out of the corner of his eyes towards his mentor. A rookie mistake too be sure, and one he would suffer for.

"Will you now?" came the voice from the right side of him. Swiping his head towards him, he was shocked stiff to see the symbol of evil not even three feet from him, hand mere inches from his own face. "How do you plan on doing that, little child? Hmmm? Maybe hit me with another of those pathetic punches? Dodge me a little bit? AWNSER ME!"

He couldn't. He was to scared. The feeling from when All-for-One arrived was next to nothing compared to the sheer wrath and intent to kill he was putting out right now.

"No? Nothing? Well then, you can DIE, LITTLE HERO!" he whispered, before it quickly grew into a roar from All-for-One, his arm horribly warped to be obscenely large and grotesque, with dozens of metal spikes jutting out of the arm. He reared back, preparing to throw a devastating punch at the young child, and destroy him in his entirety.

"YOUNG MIDORIYA/DEKU/IZUKU/MIDORIYA!" shouted the hero and students behind him.

It was as if he stood in the presence of a being blessed by death for causing so much of it. It was all encompassing, the inevitable outcome resulting only in his death. He was going to die. There was nothing anyone, not even All Might could do to stop it. Death, DEATH, DEATH,DEA-

Light.

A faint glimmer of light that was rapidly forming and quickly overtaking the darkness around him, enveloping him in its protection. Swirling, showering him in it's brilliant splendor. A brilliant, enveloping blanket of comfort and security.

And the smell of ozone with it.

"HISASHI!" came a roar from above, before a grey blur crashed into All-for-One, throwing him back and away from the young hero. With a boom of thunder, the great hero landed and scooped up the young lad in his arms and quickly brought him back to the heroes behind him, depositing him with the rest of the children who quickly surrounded him and pulled him behind them, trying to protect him from being that close to danger again.

Turning back to face the other side of the law, he called back his hammer to his hand with a sharp *snap* of his fingers, removing it from pinning down the greatest villain in the history of quirks. The symbol of evil calmly stood from the ground, patiently readjusting his suit and tie as he did, while Naruto calmly brushed off the dust and dirt from the hammers surface before returning it to its sheathe on his hip, calmly walking forward until he stood about ten feet apart from his 'dark side of the coin' as it were.

"You swore to stop involving children, Hisashi. You made a vow after what happened with Mira to never again involve children in your schemes." Naruto began calmly, beginning to walk in a circle towards the right, with All-for-One beginning to circle in opposition to him. Two apex predators circling, waiting for a single sign of weakness to pounce on and claim victory through.

"I lied. As I have from the very beginning. You knew I would begin again when you eventually died. I just took me a while to find a worthwhile child to bring in." countered AFO, arms crossed behind himself as he calmly walked around the only true threat he ever encountered.

"Then you understand that our deal is off now, yes? And the implications that has for you?" Naruto continued, still walking without truly facing AFO, instead keeping his eyes on the distant horizon.

"If you think that you can bring me down, by all means, try. I'll gladly watch you fail." Countered AFO, certain even with his injuries and shattered mask slowly sapping his strength, he could deal with a mortal who, while admittedly the more powerful of the two, was dead for almost fourty years and likely still in need of true recovery. He was confident enough in his own strength for that.

"…so be it. Then let fimbulvetr begin now. For the end is nigh." Naruto intoned, before he quickly appeared over AFO with Mjöllnir drawn back for a titanic swing down onto the current king of the underworld.

As he did AFO quickly pulled back his warped arm and met the mighty hammer with a massive punch, before calmly intoning impact recoil sending the hammer and wielder high into the air from the returning strength of the strike.

"Well, that's annoying. When did you steal that one?" Naruto calmly questioned, as if a normal part of his day was mildly inconvenienced, not his own strength returned to him.

"I'd say about twenty years ago now? Hard to remember sometimes, what with All Might destroying my head at one point. Most of my memories from before that point are a bit fuzzy." Replied AFO, shaking his hand to get back some feeling after the electric charge in the hammer numbed his hand almost to the point of losing feeling and control.

"Hmmm. Suppose I should actually try now, hm?" Naruto asked, before he vanished and struck from behind AFO, sending the villain high into the air and rapidly flying after him, before the began a brutal slugfest in the sky, sending shockwaves all over Kamino Ward. They continued like this for quite a while, constantly throwing blows that rattled the air and earth, until eventually one of them spotted an opening in their opponent.

And it wasn't AFO.

"BEGONE!" shouted Naruto, before slamming AFO towards the ground with a mighty two handed overhead slam, sending the villain deep into the earth. Before he turned his head to the skies, raising his hammer high and forming a huge group of storm clouds above him. With that completed, he began to charge power into his hammer, causing the mighty tool to begin to glow and let of sparks of electricity.

"Once more, I call upon the wrath of nature to aid me in the removal of this blight on the land! Grant me the strength I need to finish this!" he chanted, before swinging his hammer down with a mighty cry.

"FOORRR MIDGARDD!"

And a bolt of pure lightning struck right where the greatest villain was buried, rupturing the earth around him and sending a huge plume of dust up into the air. When the bolt finally faded away, he floated down to the ground, only to find the smoking body of AFO. Checking the pulse, he found a faint but steady pulse under his fingers, making him nod his head in apparent satisfaction, before turning his head to face the now gaping Endeavor, All Might and students, before throwing a thumbs up to them, a big grin on his face.

"Villain Defeated! Bring in the cops for transport would ya? And maybe an ambulance? I'm about to pass out, so don't freak out to bad, yeah?" he told them, before the eyes rolled into the back of his head and he tipped backwards and onto the ground, falling flat on his back with a loud thud.

And sending the world spiraling onto a new path.
