OK here is where the plot really starts to get moving here Enna will meet the Turtles for the first time, and he're is where I imply that Enna is still a little wary of Scarecrow though she's grown to like him more and more, there seems to be part of her that still a little bit scared of him since in this chapter she's a lot more quick to reveal everything to her fellow Mutants.
The next night, Scarecrow took Enna on their very first adventure! Enna was excited! She imagined they were like Robin Hood and his Merry Men she had heard about, in that they were outlaws but they were noble outlaws fighting against the evil in the world...
As they stood on the roof of some factory, Jonathan turned to Enna "This is the place where I get chemicals for my experiments, now because chemicals are very delicate things, I don't want you to have an accident and get hurt so I want you to just stay here and be on the look out, there shouldn't be many guards here but if you see any guards you mind trap them!"
"Okey dokey!" Enna said enthusiastically.
And Jonathan smiled and without knowing what drive him to do so, he placed a hand on her head and ruffled the head-fur underneath her hood
"There's a good girl..." He said most paternally, and than he lifted the hatch and went down into the factory.
Meanwhile the Turtles, having found an abandoned building to use as their base of operations in Gotham, were now beginning their quest to search for clues about what mysterious thing was happening in Gotham that cyborg wanted them to help with.
Don scanned the city with his night vision goggles when he saw something that made him do a double take! At first it just seemed like an ordinary child standing on the roof of a factory building a few rooftops away, but then she turned to the side and Don saw a large tail! He narrowed his focus and saw a few more non-human features, like a short muzzle and that her figure wasn't axactly shaped like a human's
"Guys..." Don said "...I...I think I've found something very interesting."
"What is it Don?" Leo asked
"I think I'm seeing a new Mutant Animal like ourselves!" Don exclaimed "From what I'm seeing it looks like...A mutant river otter!"
The other three Mutants got out binoculars and looked where Don was looking.
"You're right!" Leo gasped amazed to find another mutant animal "And that Mutant...Looks young...Kind of reminds me of when wee were kids."
"Holy Shell..." Mikey could hardly contain his excitement "Do you think this has something to do with whatever that Cyborg was serching for us for? Something to do with Mutants?"
"heather it is or it isn't..." Leo said "...The fact it is a fellow mutant and looks like a child to boot mean it is our business now!"
They began to leap over to the chemical factory.
Enna having much sharper ears than a human was able to hear them coming, and because of her much sharper sense of smell she also could already tell they weren't human!
When she saw them land on the roof, she gasped...They were Turtles she had never seen Mutant Turtles before! Hardly any of her Mutant Brothers and Sisters from the Lab were reptiles or amphibians but also they were young men...And very handsome...
"Oh!" She exclaimed "You're Mutant Animals like me!"
The Turtles were relieved she didn't react with fear upon seeing them and instead seemed happy to see creatures like herself...In fact she rushed right over to them,
"Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed "I'm Enna! Who are you? What Lab did you come from?"
And that last question made the Turtles' jaws drop! Already they felt a chill go down their shells as they knew what that question meant
"You're...From a Lab?" Leo asked
Enna seemed taken aback by that question
"Yeah...Aren't all Mutants?" Enna was beginning to realize maybe these creatures weren't like her after all.
"Well you see..." Don said "...We weren't made IN a Lab, we were Mutated when some ooze from a lab spilled on us when were babies."
"So you Mutated when touched by goo?" Enna cocked her head "That seems like something from a movie that doesn't seem real?"
"OK then kid what's you're story?" Raph asked irritably
"I was born a mutant because the scientists didn't something to my Mother and I came out a Mutant." Enna said
The Turtles were already not liking where this was going.,.
"I see..." Don said "...And these Scientists...Were they good..."
"Not really..." Enna sighed "...They started out OK at first but then some new people came in and things started chaning and then they did this to me..." She rolled up the sleeve on her costume to reveal her scar, the Turtles gasped in horror.
She rolloed up her other sleeve to show the other scar "Got one on both legs too." She said
"Shell..." Raph fumed "...Enna, tell us who did that to you and we'll personally eviscerate them for you!"
"Raph!" Don said "Calm down!" He knelt down so he could feel the stitch work "How did you escape?"
Enna sighed "Well...Shortly after they did...This...I threw my chair at the glass wall of my room...Leaving a hole big enough for me to jump through after that it was a mad dash for the exit!"
"What happened after that?" Leo asked
"Well of course after I got out they sent goons after me..." Enna said "...I probobly would have been caught if I hadn't been rescued by a nice human."
"And who is this nice human?" Leo asked
"The Professor." Enna said
"The Professor?" Don cocked his head as he knew this couldn't be the Professor he knew from NYC.
Just then the moment was shattered by the Scarecrow's voice shouting "ENNA!"
DUN DUN DUN! Decided that made a nice little cliffhanger leave the confrontation for net chapter
