So this is a scene I imagined since I started this redo of an eariler fic to really make the Turtles a bigger part of the plot than last time, and also a bit of a character study moment for Leonardo as the situation for Enna would be VERY triggering for him, but also raises the question of if more Mutant Animals do exist in their world if they choose to be evil isn't that prerogative as an intelligent being with free will? The six cannoical mutants we get in the 2003 show the Turtles, Splinter and Leatherhead were all raised with the Utroms' ideals Leatherhead because he was raised by the Utroms themselves and Splinter and Turtles because Hamato Yoshi was one of the Utroms' Guardians but if Mutant Animals were to blossom into their own society wouldn't it be a good thing to have differing viewpoints and opinions?

"I can't believe it Master Splinter!" Leo fumed as he paced back and forth "I just can't believe it!"

Don had hooked up his shell cell to his computer so that Splinter, April and Casey were on 'Speaker Phone' so that all the Turtles could talk to them at once as they did various things in their temporary shelter, at the moment their quest to find out what that strange cyborg guys was talking about and what he wanted them for was completely forgotten, right now the discovery of a new mutant animal, one that was both a female and a child had their complete attention none of them had thought for a moment than those two things might be related.

"This is just like Karai with the Shredder only worse!" Leo fumed "Worse because she's one of us! A fellow Mutant! And now she's being raised by that criminal lunatic!"

"Leanardo..." Splinter said softly, gently like a calming breeze "...Do you think all mutant animals should be like us? All should follow the way of Bushido? If what I think you told me about what this Enna said, I believe she many Young Mutants created in a laboratory...Then we are clrealy not as alone as we thought...Just as Japan is one of many nations with many different ways of doing things, We Mutants can not be a monolyth, should not be a monolyth we should be as different in our ways as humans..."

"But...Sensai..." Leo protested already knowing that Splinter had a point that if they couldn't force Karai to choose a different path, than they couldn't force Enna to do the same just because she was a fellow mutant, that if she wanted to choose the path of evil that was her right as a person, it meant she wouldn't be free from the consquenses of her actions "...Enna, is a Psychic...And it's clear Scarecrow wants her because of that...Doesn't that mean this sistuation is more dangerous than the one with Karai.?

"My Son." Splinter said sternly "I know you have so many regrets over how you wish things between you and Karai had gone better particurally because of the event aboard Shredder's spaceship...Leonardo...I ask you, does part of you wish that you could turn back time and prevent Karai from falling into Shredder's clutches in the first place? Do you wish you could have...Rescued her?"

Leo sighed and sat on a chair "Yes," He admitted wearily "I have dreamed about doing that, and I thought about how that could be possibly as we know Renet...But I always remind myself that doing that might cause a time paradox that might result in us never getting mutated, if there's one thing we've learned from cheesy sci-fi movies about time travel, is that trying to change the course of history always causes more problems than it solves!"

"I mean..." Don said "...I think we all feel similar Leo..." Don's mouth twitched showing something about this whole situation personally offended him as well "...I also want to save Enna from going down this path...It's clear Scarecrow just sees her as a tool so that's why he's playing nice..." Don seemed to trail off into his own thoughts "...Putting her in that stupid jester outfit! How undiginifed!"

"I don't know..." Came Raph's voice "...I think she looks kind of cute in it."

Raph was still weakened from his mind trap experience, he was sitting wrapped in a blanket and sipping a cup of green tea, he seemed to have a calm expression on his face his brothers had never seen before.

"I told you guys about what I saw in that...Dream she put me in right?" Raph asked his brothers "I really think she was trying to tell us something...Showing an actual memory...I think she was trying to say with that, why she was with the Scarecrow...Maybe he promised her protection or to rescue all the others..."

"Whoa!" Mikey exclaimed "RAPH being the voice of reason?! Call Eyewittness News!"

Raph huffed as the only way he could show his annoyance in his weakened state "We saw her scars! We know she's been through somethin' It's clear it's not for nothin's she's trustin' the Scarecrow!"

"You may be onto something Raph..." April said "...Right now all Casey can think of is the situation with Angel and the Purple Dragons, he's gearing up to follow you guys to Gotham..."

Raph thought more about the vision and had an epiphany

"In that dream..." He said "...Which was a memory of something that actually happened to her, that Henritta Pig said they had moved from Texas...That might be a clue!"

So I think Raph is being unusually calm in this situation because part of his reconizes Enna is similar to himself, realizes when she's happy she's like Mikey but when she's angry she's more like him
