So while the name of the orginazation Dim Thoughts originally came from a Doc Feral adventure in Transdimensional TMNT 'Doc Feral's Dimenstional Doohickey' this is not introducing Dr. Feral into the story rather I'm using the name Dim Thoughts because in the original Mr. Bionic Adventure the orginazation in question was named INTAK (Intsitute forTechnological Autmata Knowladge) which would have implied it was about machines and technology instead the creation of the Mutant Children means biology so the name Dim Thoughts comes with the cover that this is like a 'National Institute of Mental Health' that their study is dedicated to the brain in an attempt to discover the true potential of the human mind at least that's their cover story

As to be expected Casey was not pleased when the Turtles told him they let Enna go (The Turtles did not let Casey come along on the insistance that this mission required 'a delicate touch')

"You let her stay with that Wacko?!" Casey fumed

"This situation's different Casey..." Leo tried to explain "...For some reason Scarecrow actually does care about her...I don't know why..."

"You got to remember..." Don said as he sat down at his computer "...There's a reason most of these Rogues go to an insane asylum and not to prison...That they are genuinly mentally ill, with the likes of Shredder, Bishop and most others we've faced we know they're in full control of their actions, they chose to go down the route of evil, but looking at most of the Arkham's files with few exceptions like the Joker you get the sense that most of the Arkham Rogues are really messed up individuals, where something in their lives just caused them to...Snap...For one reason or another, and it seems they have their moments where if they take a fancy to someone for some reason they're capable of showing genuine kindness, even if last week they were planning to destroy all of society...It seems...Like their alter egos are more like demons living inside them, that keep driving them to do these acts and there is still a human part of them that wants more normal things...Wow..." Don shook his head "...I sound like one Mikey's comic books."

"So..." Raph said "...You found anything about any weird stuff from Texas that moved to Gotham?"

"As a matter of fact I did!" Don said "With a little digging I discovered 'Dim Thoughts' an orginazation that claims to be studying the brain to discover the true potential of the human mind, seems they had been moved from Dallas to Gotham because it would be easier to do their kind of work there, i.e. too many were poking around so to conceal their highly illegal activities they moved to the most corrupt city in the nation!"

"Guys..." Mikey said rubbing his arm "...You think this might be related to that weird cyborg guy? The one who wanted to take us to Gotham in the first place?"

And the suddenly the Turtles felt a child go down their carapaces, realizing these two things might be connected.

Meanwhile, both Scarecrow and Enna were sleeping on the large plush red sofa, since Jonathan was so skinny, there was enough room for Enna to sleep next to his legs, as Enna slept...She dreamed of four familiar shapes racing through the forest, through the suburbs and finally they approached a strange building that if she had known would have reconized as a military base...The next scenes were a series of explosions all over the world...It was more than just the humans suffering from these explosions...Every animal and plant was suffering from the fire that was raining down seemed there would be nothing left but barren rock...

And Enna woke up with a jolt as she realized what this dream meant! She began to cry, startling Jonathan and waking him up!

"Enna! Enna!" He exclaimed "Whatever is the matter?"

"I've done a terrible thing!" Enna cried

"What do you mean?" Jonathan asked

"In the lab..." Enna said as she struggled to catch her breath "...There were some...Different Mutants that lived with us, they weren't the same as us, they hadn't come from the same experiment as us, they were all bears, four of them...A few years ago, they came to our lab because, some of us overheard 'The government has nowhere else to put them' I think the bears mutated because someone put a mutant virus in them when they were babies, and they were the most evil mutants we had ever seen! None of us liked them...They couldn't talk normally I spoke with their thoughts, and sometimes when they were passing by to their own experiments they would think evil thoughts at us, especially the girl mutants..."

Jonathan felt a chil go down his spine, he felt his throat getting tighter.

"The Scientists were given silver helmets when the bears came, that were supposed to protect them from the Bears' psionics, all the Bears have more than one unlike us, but the helmets never protected them from the bears it only protected them from us...So the night I escaped, first I threw my chair at the glass wall breaking it, but I knew I couldn't get out of the lab without them catching me, so when I got to the room that the Bears lived in I hit the big red button that opened their door and let them out, they chased the scientists who were after me and that was all I needed to make my getaway...After that I found some clothes in a trashcan and tried to get as far away from them as possible, but the scientists they sent goons after me, and that's when I met you...But I just had a dream...And know mow the Bears...Those...Terror Bears also escaped...And I remember the one named Sammy...He would think thoughts at us, none of the scientists could hear, he would say things like 'The end of the world is coming...' And I just had a dream of everything blowing up...And I realized...Their going to MAKE the end of the world happen! I'm sorry Professor! I'm so sorry!"

"Enna! Enna!" Jonathan soothed despite the fear he felt knowing how grave the situation was, "Don't cry! What you did, you did out of desperation...I would have done far worse in your sistuation...But Your vision was a warning not necessarily what will happen...There's is still time we can fix this mess..."

DUN DUN DUN! That's right! Instead of Dr. Feral I'm having the other great villains from the TMNT RPG The Terror Bears, I realized they're perfect in a story featuring Scarecrow because they are all about fear, actually much better foils to Scarecrow than Feral even though both Feral and Crane are Scientists, the Terror Bears fit in much better with the theme and I know the 2012 cartoon Dream Beavers are creap knock offs of the Terror Bears, I do find it funny I have the classic...Rival...Foil of the Beaver in the main character being an Otter, the play to the Beaver's work
