Winter (P.O.V)
As I pulled my luggage to the exit the door open and I immediately smiled as the chilled air hit my face and breathe in the smell of rain. It felt good to be back home the place I hated leaving the most. It only took a couple of seconds looking around to find my dad standing by his police cruiser in his uniform.
"Daddy". I called out getting his attention. He looked in my direction smiling I immediately rushed towards him completely forgetting about my suitcase.
Within seconds I was in my dad's arms hugging him tightly taking in his scent that I always missed when I had to go back to Phoenix. "I've missed you so much dad". I muttered into his chest.
"I've missed you too raindrop. It's good to finally have you home permanently". Dad said kissing the top of my head.
When we pulled away from each other smiling dad went stiff a bit and I turned around to see Bella struggling with our luggage. I rolled my eyes still having no idea why she just didn't get a big suitcase instead of multiple smaller ones.
"Hey Bell's". Dad said awkwardly.
"Hey dad". Bella said awkwardly as he did but avoiding eye contact looking at the ground. I sighed at the awkward silence that soon followed.
"As much as I love this awkward reunion can we get going dad". I said snapping him out of his thoughts and he awkwardly started rubbing in the back of his neck nodding.
"Right you are raindrop". Dad muttered grabbing some of the bags from Bella. I shook my head as I walked towards the backseat deciding to let Bella sit in the front with dad to see how this train wreck ends.
My head snapped up from my book when I head dad's voice. He was trying to have a conversation with Bella. "Your hair's longer." Dad said with his eyes focused on the road.
"I got it cut since the last time I saw you". Bella said awkwardly as she begin playing with her hair.
"Guess it grew out again". Dad muttered as awkwardly.
It was silent the rest of the way to the house. I smiled as we pulled up onto the street and soon Dad parked in front of the house. I eagerly got out first waiting for him to open the truck.
I grabbed my bag while Dad helped Bella I was waiting on the porch impatiently wanting to get inside. Once dad opened the door I rushed in smiling that I was finally home.
"I've cleared some shelves off in the bathroom". Dad said as he closed the house door.
"Oh right one bathroom". Bella muttered under her breath.
"Put a sock in it Bella". I said irritated and walked up the stairs. I walked to my room that was across from Bella's.
I put my suitcase on the bed to immediately start unpacked and putting everything in place for over two hour. I opened my desk drawer and smiled as I remove some sketches that covered the picture frame of me and Jasper.
I closed the drawer when I heard a car horn honk. Out of curiosity I set down the picture frame on top of the desk before walking to the window to see my childhood friend Jacob Black and his dad.
I rushed out of the room past a confused Bella as I ran down the stairs and out the front door. "Jacob". I yelled tackling him into a hug.
"Win your finally back for good". Jake said as we pulled away.
"Yea it's great I don't have to go back to Phoenix". I said grinning like crazy.
"Bella remember you know Billy Black." Dad said as I noticed Bella walking out of the house towards us.
"Yeah". Bella said lying with a fake smiled. I could help but roll my eyes she wasn't a good liar but unfortunately my dad was oblivious.
"I'm glad you two are finally here your dad has shut up about it". Billy said smiling as dad awkwardly looked away.
"Alright keep exaggerating I'll roll you into the mud". Charlie threatens walking away.
"After I ram you in the ankles". Billy said as he wheeled towards dad.
"Are they always like this?". Bella asked gesturing towards dad and Billy.
Jacob and I looked at each other before we started laughing. "It's getting worse with old age". Jacob said after he calm down.
Dad walked back to a truck with Billy following behind him. He leaned against the bright orange rusted truck.
"So Bell's what do you think?". Dad asked Bella.
"Of what?" Bella asked confused.
"Your homecoming present". Dad said as my nose scrunched up a bit.
Bella's eyes widen in surprise. "This?".
Dad smiled awkwardly before looking at Billy.
"Just bought it off of Billy here". Dad said lightly tapping the side of the truck.
"I totally rebuilt the engine for you". Jacob said smiling.
"Oh come on." Bella gasped in surprise before going to open the door only to hit Jacob.
"Sorry." Bella apologizes quickly. Jacob shook it off and quickly went to the other side to get into the truck.
Dad stood by my side putting his arm around my shoulder making me look up at him. "I got you something to raindrop". Dad said as I sighed.
"Dad you didn't have to get me anything". I said smiling lightly.
"I know Winter but I wanted to it. I got you the moped you mentioned a few times during your last visit". Dad said making my jaw drop open. "It's on the side of the house...". Dad was saying but didn't continue as I was already gone squealing as I remove the tarp off my new baby.
"Beat dad ever". I said tackling him into a hug. I'm glad to be back home there's no other place I would rather be other than Jasper arms.
A few hours later Jacob and his dad left. That left me and dad to spend some time together without Bella. I knew it hurt him but I was happy the less time I spend with her the better my IQ won't drop hopefully.
I sat in bed looked over at my nightstand smiling at the picture that was one hidden in my desk. I wasn't going to hide my relationship anymore. I was a little sad that I haven't spoken to Jasper but I didn't want to ruin the surprise I knew if I heard his voice I would spill everything.
I fell asleep beyond excited for tomorrow to finally be back in his arms.
